Bishiworld. A place where trainers can come and see their favorite characters from shows, movies, mangas, books, etc. Only one of every character exists, and each trainer must win a bishi's trust to get the bishi to travel with them. The bishis are free to leave whenever they want, and trainers cannot force a bishi to stay with them. Also, if a bishi likes another trainer better, that bishi can decide to go with the other trainer.
Any character may be spotted in bishiworld, and they may act differently than they do in the book/show/etc. But they all have free will, and they all like to wander. Some of them like traveling with trainers, some of them don't. Each bishi is different.

Lila hummed to herself as she walked with Japhrimel, the demon walking slightly behind her with his hands clasped behind his back. Neither of them spoke, keeping the companionable silence as they walked. Her other bishis were resting, since they'd gone swimming earlier (except for Japh, who had deemed himself too dignified to do such activities as swimming in a lake).
Lila paused when she saw a road ahead. "Japh?"
Japhrimel moved ahead of her, investigating quickly to be sure there was no danger. He shrugged, glancing back at her with laser-green eyes.
"Shall we?" Lila grinned, moving up next to him. Japhrimel allowed a faint smile to touch his lips before he nodded, and the two of them set off down the road to see what they could find.

Lia walked down the road at an easy pace, chatting with Claudia. Claudia was easily the most chatty of Lia's small group, and she was highly interesting to talk to.
"You know, I could totally mess with your dex to make it stream live from the outside," Claudia was saying.
"I think not," Lia said prompty. "The last time you messed with my things, my watch beeped nonstop for three hours before you could fix it."
"That was one time," Claudia wheedled. "I won't do that to your dex, I promise."
"No," Lia said. "Not until we get to a town or something where we have access to a repair shop, just in case."
"So I can play with it when we get to town?" Claudia pounced on the condition. Lia paused when she realized what she said.
"Alright," she reluctantly said.
"Yes!" Claudia crowed.

The manor had been silent for far too long. Even with the collection of personalities that she had acquired over the years, separate rooms kept trouble from starting up overly often. Things had been rather...peaceful, despite Arei's resolution to keep from allowing herself to settle in this place, to treat it as she would a home. it was, inf act, starting to feel more and more like a home...or a shell of a home at any rate. Something was...missing yet.
A small frown marred her features as she peered out at the grounds where Sebastian moved about with inhuman speed and precision, trimming each of the hedges just so. Any minute now Komodo would be checking the fountain again, raving about a life spring and he'd be ushered back into the house ranting about being unable to live in a word in which he could die. With this happening each day like clockwork, Arei couldn't help but wonder if the theatrically inclined man wasn't on some sort of new drug. It would certainly explain a few things about him.
From across the room, Remus sat pretending to read. However, he'd not glanced at a word in some ten minutes or so, preferring to glance worriedly over the pages at his companion and trainer of 5 years. She'd been so morose lately, so unlike the cheerful child he'd met a few years back.
A sigh escaped the young woman peering at the grounds. "What are you reading?" She didn't glance at Remus as she spoke.
'Caught at last,' he thought, hiding his smile behind the tightly bound pages. "A book of poetry I found downstairs."
Arei seemed to lose interest almost immediately, if ever she'd been truly interested before. "Oh." Though her frown had been smoothed away, Remus noted that she still looked decidedly unhappy and that was when he made his decision, he would excuse himself and write letters to trainers staying in the nearby town, offering them a place to stay for a week and a place to test their skill. Hopefully a good challenge (or just some like-minded company) would be all that was needed to bring the old Arei back.

Lila and Japhrimel walked down the road, with Japhrimel keeping an eye out for anyone around them. He was rather protective of this girl he called his trainer, for reasons he didn't entirely understand. She treated him well, yes, and she was fun to be around... most of the time. Unlike some people he'd known. Perhaps that was why he stayed with her.
Lila grinned to herself as she pushed her hair back out of her face, heading towards the town she could see in the distance, only a few miles away. "Hey Japh?"
"Yes, Lila?" Japhrimel turned green eyes back to his trainer.
"Think we'll meet anyone interesting in town?"
The demon shrugged fluidly, the darkness of his Chinese-collared coat rippling a little. "Possibly."
Lila contented herself with that answer and simply kept walking, deciding she needed something new to do with her bishis. They'd been wandering around aimlessly in the woods for nearly two months now, and perhaps a stay in town was just what they needed.

Lia walked with Claudia towards the town that she was sure was there. According to her map, she should be getting there any time.
"Oh, hey, is that it?" Claudia asked, pointing to a gate in the distance. Lia squinted, then nodded.
"That's it," she said. Claudia grinned.
"Real bed!" she cheered. "Electricity! Running water!" Lia laughed and nodded.
"I hear that," she said. They walked for a while longer, and then the gate came more into view. It didn't take them long to reach it. Showing her dex to the guard, Lia went into the town with Claudia. "It'll be nice to sleep inside, and get a good meal."
"Hey, I can cook," Claudia pointed out. "Tris can cook better than I can."
"Yeah, but I don't have the supplies to make waffles for breakfast," Lia pointed out. Claudia paused, then nodded.
"Good point."

Though Remus' letters lacked the flowing script for which some of his new companions were known, he figured that his own messy scrawl was legible enough to make the invitations both understandable and valid. Now, he reasoned, all that was left was to get them delivered.
With the full moon nearly a good three weeks behind him, Remus felt well enough up to the task of finding a few trainers to invite back to the manor and with no more than a moment's thought, he aparated into town, popping into an alleyway to avoid being seen. Sure, magical powers may have been the norm he, but he was still uncomfortable showing his own off in the general public, always afraid that a muggle might be lurking about to view him....then he'd be in real trouble.
'No, no here you won't get into trouble here' he reminded himself as he wandered into town, trying his best to blend into the crowd even as he scanned it for trainers.

Lila let out a sigh as she entered the town. "How long has it been since we've slept in real beds?"
"Two months and six days," Japhrimel replied, a faint twitching of his lips the only sign of his amusement.
"Not that you're counting, right?" Lila grinned at him to show him she was just teasing before she looked around. "Now, let's see... Where to find a hotel at a reasonable rate..."
"Because you have such a problem with money." Japhrimel's voice was sarcastic, but still amused.
"Just because I have it doesn't mean I need to flaunt it. Besides, you never know when you might need some." Lila picked a direction and started walking.

Lia sighed happily as she walked through the town. As much as she liked travelling, it was nice to be amongst people again. Claudia had decided to put herself away, to make it easier to get through the town without being seperated. Lia decided to walk around for a little while before looking for a hotel, enjoying the solitary time. She thoroughly enjoyed travelling with Claudia, Guillo, and Tris, but sometimes she wanted alone time. All three of them were rather... forceful in their personalities.
Once she'd had her fill of alone time, which didn't take long, Lia looked around for a reasonably priced hotel. Guillo was the only one of her group who was really a fighter, so Lia didn't get into battles often. Once she found a good hotel, she went up to her room and flopped onto the bed, sighing happily.

Spotting a young woman sporting a belt with bishiballs hanging from it, Remus picked his way through the crowd toward her, apologize profusely out of habit to the number of people who bumped and jostled him. Relief stole over him as he reached her, paused a moment as he wondered whether or not he should address her, and then promptly decided against it for the time being and discreetly slipped one of the invitations into her bag.
With that done he renewed his search, spotting another girl who looked to be about the same age. What luck he thought as he followed her into a small inn, the closest thing the town had to a hotel. Noting that she had already vanished upstairs, he frowned and approached the clerk, handing him the rest of the letter and urging the man to give them out to any trainers who entered within the next few days. Though the man seemed reluctant to oblige him at first a few coins passed his way on 'behalf of his mistress' (really part of his own meager savings) the man grunted his agreement.
A beaming Remus flashed the gruff man a smile before retreating from the establishment and heading back to the alleyway in which he'd arrived. It was time to go home.

Lila managed to find a good hotel and paid for a room, heading up the stairs. Japhrimel stayed close behind her, glancing around every so often.
Once in the room, Lila set her bag down and noticed with some surprise that there was an envelope in it. She opened the envelope quickly, ignoring Japhrimel's half-formed warning, and read the note inside quickly.
"It's an invitation," she said, glancing up at the demon. "To go spend some time in a privately-owned place a little ways away from this town."
Japh nodded to show he'd heard, taking the invitation and reading it himself. "It could be... interesting," he said after a few moments.
"That's what I figured. We may as well go."

Once Lia, Tris, and Claudia had showered (Guillo didn't shower because as a rule, puppets don't need to), the three bishies disappeared into their balls and Lia went downstairs again.
"Hey," she said to the man behind the counter, "I have a question."
"Yes?" the clerk asked.
"What are the good places around this town to shop? Like books and clothes and such things?" she asked. The clerk thought for a moment before giving her directions to a small strip mall. Before she left, he handed her an envelope without a word. Surprised, she took it. "What's this for?"
"I was told to give it to the first trainer to come to the counter," he replied. Lia blinked, but pocketed it anyways. She would read it later, after she'd looked for the book she wanted to get her hands on.

Back at the manor, Arei had begun the daily process of exchanging pleasantries with Sebastian in the hope that he would allow her to do her own laundry for a change.
Largely unsuccessful and unable to find a way to continue to insist without seeming rude, she retreated to Ciel's study, where the young count was contemplating a chess board whilst twirling a pawn between his fingers. On the other side of the table, Jonathan Crane, the resident multi-personality, adjusted his glasses as he awaited the boy's next move.
"I was planning on making some tea, would you like some?" she asked. She needed something to do to pass the time. Glancing at her a moment Ciel shook his head before returning his attention to the board. "No need, I'll have Sebastian make it." Arei bit back a response.
'It's always the same. A never ending routine....is this my fault from bringing them all here? Are they content or...just as miserable as I am?' She wondered if she shouldn't be content with this relatively quiet life she'd made for herself, but contentment had never been an easy part of her nature and even now it seemed forced.

Lila took a quick shower and then brushed out her hair while waiting for Japhrimel as he did the same. Once they were both dry(ish), Lila led the way from the hotel room, going to get some supplies while they were in town.
Nearly two hours later, Lila and Japh returned to the hotel room with dinner for themselves and her other bishis. Balthazar, Sam, and Kurama all lined up patiently to get their food, although Balthazar managed to jostle his way to the front of the line, as per usual. Eclipse waited until the others had all gotten their food before he took some, perching on the arm of a chair to eat.
"So, we've been invited to go stay in a manor house for a few days," Lila said, glancing at each of her bishis.
"That should be interesting," Sam said, looking at her. "Do you know the person?"
"Nope." Lila took another bite of food, chewed, swallowed. "All the more reason to go. See why we're wanted."
"It could just be chance," Kurama pointed out.
"Yeah, could be," Lila allowed. "But if it is I want to know."

Lia sat down on her bed in the hotel a while later, looking at the letter she'd been given.
"What's that?" Claudia asked.
"Some kind of invitation," Lia replied. She'd already had Tris look at it to see if there was any sort of magic attached to it, and the mage had confirmed that it was clean. "Something about visiting a manor house for a few days."
"Do you know the guy?" Claudia asked curiously. Lia shook her head.
"No," she replied. "I think I'd know if I knew someone who had a manor, especially around here. This is practically the boonies."
"It could be a trap of some sort," Guillo pointed out evenly.
"Yeah, the tin can is right," Claudia said. "How do you know it's safe?"
"Well, between the three of you there's an immortal magic puppet, an uber-genuis, and a master mage," Lia pointed out. "I think we'll be alright. Besides, I'm curious now. I want to see what I've been invited for, and why."

As day began to fade into night, Remus took to pacing in one of the studies, wondering how the others would take to the guests that would hopefully be arriving with the dawn of the following day. It wasn't often that they had visitors that weren't directly connected to the manor's young owner, one Ciel Phantomhive...perhaps it would be the change that they needed to bring a little light and laughter back into the place.
Meanwhile, Jonathan had situated himself on the front steps, watching Komodo intently as the man snatched a firefly from the air and promptly squished it in between his palms. Every few minutes Jonathan jotted something down in a small leather bound journal he'd happened upon in the library one day.
Arei watched the both of them with concern. Beside her, Celestine shook his head before settling a hand upon her shoulder. "Everything is fine." His kind smile and the warmth in his eyes seemed to calm her. "You worry too much."
Slowly, she returned it. "Yeah, I guess I do, don't I?"

[color=indigo]Lila spent the rest of the evening talking with her bishis and playing poker. Balthazar had tried to push for strip poker, but Eclipse and Japhrimel had glared the idea out of him. Eventually they'd all settled down to get some sleep.
Lila woke just after sunrise, as was her routine, and got up, stretching out. She spent twenty minutes or so just stretching and doing some exercises before she actually got some food and started rousing her bishis.
"Come on," she said, clapping a few times. "Time to get going. We've got places to be, people to visit."
"And bother," Balthazar put in sleepily, opening his eyes blearily.
"Exactly! So get up." Lila easily dodged the sleepy swat aimed her way and went to go get some donuts as bribery to help them get their butts out of bed.

Lia spent the rest of the night alternating between listening to a discussion between Tris and Guillo and glancing warily at Claudia as she tinkered with her trainer gear. It was always a fifty-fifty chance that whatever Claudia got in her head would work, but when it didn't, it was fairly spectactular. Lia had managed to keep her dex from Claudia, but the uber-genius had still managed to get her hands on Lia's watch, which had a few other apps on it.
Finally, as midnight came and went, Lia managed to wrestle her gear back from Claudia. Once she made sure it still worked the way it should, she put it away.
"Alright, you guys," she said, fighting back a yawn, "I think it's time for lights-out. The invite says we need to be there early, so I want SOME sleep before I have to get up at some unholy hour."
"Wait," Claudia said, "you mean we have to get up at the crack of o-dark-thirty?"
"Essentially," Lia said, "yeah." Claudia groaned theatrically, but Lia knew she'd still try to get up early. She made a mental note to get a lot of coffee.
The next morning came far too early for her tastes, but Lia dragged herself out of bed and immediately started looking for some sort of caffiene. By the time she was actually awake, Guillo and Tris had already packed up just about everything and Guillo was prodding Claudia out of bed. Lia could tell this would definitely be a slow morning.

Though the world still lay blanketed by darkness, the promise of mid-morning guests had a number of the occupants of the Phantomhive manor (those that Remus had bothered to inform of his plans at any rate) up and about.
Sebastian had taken point in the cleaning, decorating, and preparing of breakfast snacks for those that might arrive a bit on the earlier side departments, leaving Remus to wander around idly behind feeling useless as the demon butler made quick work of each and every task he set his mind to.
After a while, Remus stuffed his wand back inside the folds of his robe and found a chair to occupy. Better that than getting in the demon's way he supposed. Sebastian never did take kindly to interruptions or general clumsiness.
Curled beside Nahadoth's ever shifting form, Arei was one of the many who continued to sleep soundly, unaware of her bishis plans.

Lila managed to get her bishis up and moving fairly early, having had two cups of coffee herself. All of them but Eclipse and Japhrimel retreated, and the two demons walked with her down the road as they left the town, making their slow progress towards the manor.
Lila stopped a little ways outside the gates to the manor, just looking at the place. "Wow."
"It is extravagent," Eclipse allowed.
"And huge." Lila's eyes were wide.
Japhrimel gave his usual fluid shrug. "Not so big as some," he said. "Big enough for a trainer and her companions, I would guess."
"Yeah, I guess so." Lila shook her head a little and pushed the gate open slowly, stepping into the yard. "It's just so pretty!"
"If you ever decided to get a house of your own, I am sure it would look just as well kept," Eclipse said with the faintest of smiles.

Lia finally managed to drag her sleep-deprived self out of the hotel room at a relatively sane hour. There was enough light outside to see by, at least, that had to count for something.
"Oh, stop whining," Tris said as they walked. Lia raised an eyebrow.
"Easy for you to say," she snarked half-heartedly. "I'm not the one who can stay awake for days using an earthquake."
"That was only once," Tris protested. Lia couldn't help but giggle a bit.
"I know, I'm just teasing you," she said. "I'm just not a morning person, and the coffee didn't do much."
"Well, listening to you is better than listening to Claudia, at least," Tris commented. Lia grinned.
"Yeah, at least I can take a joke in the mornings," she said. They walked a bit more in easy silence before the manor came into view. Lia blinked. "Wow. Look at that."
"Impressive," Tris agreed. It didn't take them long to get closer to the gates, and Lia could see that a few others were there before them. "Well, it seems you weren't the only one to get an invitation," Tris commented.
"Looks like it," Lia agreed.

Preparations for the arrival of their guests ended some time just before dawn, leaving plenty of time for those in the know to fret while others waited impassively for the day's entertainment to begin.
The actual arrival of the visitors was taken in by what, from a distance, could have easily been mistaken for the statue of an angel, wings spread toward the heavens in some manner of supplication. Surely they would know no different until they were afforded a closer inspection or until Celestine felt the need to come down from his lofty perch atop the fountain.
Instead it was Sebastian who strode forward to greet the newcomers as they passed through the tall wrought iron gates. Bowing once before fixing them with his disconcerting stare he smiled easily enough. "Welcome to Phantomhive Manor. I hope your trip was an easy one," he greeted, tone light and friendly. As ever, he played the picture perfect butler.
Gesturing for the girls and their presently released bishis to follow him he continued. "Once inside, your belongings will be carried to your designated rooms if you will permit them to be moved," he informed them as he moved down the path toward the Manor. "Tea and breakfast croissants will be served for those who missed their morning meals."

Lila blinked when the demon butler approached them, watching him. Japhrimel and Eclipse moved to flank her, ready to protect her should anyone try to hurt her.
"Wow. Thanks. That sounds great." Lila smiled at the bishi. "Thanks very much."
"Another trainer is here," Japhrimel leaned down briefly to murmur in her ear.
"Okay, Japh." Lila nodded a little to the demon on her right. "I'm Lila, by the way," she added to Sebastian.
Eclipse half-turned to watch the other trainer approaching and shifted a little, gently shooing Lila in front of him. "Where will we be staying? Do you know?" he asked his fellow bishi with a little nod of ackowledgement that they were on his turf and Eclipse wouldn't start a fight.
