In the year 215 A.D., The Shang Dynasty was overthrown by Baisè Huangdì. With the downfall of the Shang Dynasty, the peace they had brought to the land nearly a thousand years ago was brought to an end, and with his rule Baisè Huangdì brought with him a never-ending winter.

So began the Xuě Dynasty.

500 years later, in a small, remote village, a young woman has secretly began her journey to the capital. She is the descendant of the last Shang Emperor, Yi Wei Song, and is now rising up to take her rightful place at the throne and end the cruel reign of the Xuě Dynasty.

Our young heroine starts out with only her mentor and her two guards; along the way to the capital she must rally up support if she hopes to defeat the armies of Zai Qinwen, the tempermental Xuě ruler and descendant of Baisè Huangdì.

The fate of history lays in your hands; will you rally to the banner of the Shang Princess, or will you defend the mighty Xuě Dynasty under Zai Qinwen's command?

* Follow Menewsha ToS. Come on, that's a given.

* SEND me all profiles, do not POST them or you will be ignored. This just makes it easier on me.

*Please be considerate of you're fellow roleplayers. We're all here to have fun, after all. This means no killing another character unless permission has been given by the person controlling that character.

*However, if you find yourself in a battle and are bored of your current character, you have full permission to have your character killed and then scamper off to make a new one. You'll have to reintroduce them, though, no picking up where the old character left off.

* Please don't be vulgar, rude, ect. While violence, gore, and romance is perfectly fine (this IS, after all, a war), there's no need to be overly descriptive.

* Romance- let's keep it pg-13

*I like to keep things at least semi-lit (so please no chat speak, l337 speak, or Doing Something Like This Where You Capatilize Every Word. It looks messy and is confusing.)

* One-liners are ok, just make sure you give everyone something to work off of. "He nodded" is harder to do something with then "He nodded, turning around to go out into the snow." See how many posibilities pop up for that second one?

*Leave windows open for people. If you and Billy are talking, leave room so if Amanda comes into the room she can be included in the conversation. Also, don't ignore someone if they address you. It's rude.

* No godmoding, and no invincible characters. That just sucks the fun out of it. If Joseph attacks you with a sword and you two start fighting, you can't avoid every hit and then say you punched him in the face, breaking his nose. You have to get hurt a little bit, because its inevitable at some point, and Joseph totally has the option of dodging that punch to the face.

* To go with the above, this isn't the Chronicles of Narnia. The good side won't always win.

* As you can see above, even I'm not a perfect speller (nor is my grammer perfect) so while you should try to have things make sense and attempt to spell things right, I won't be a nazi about it.

*Distinguish between you're in-character chat and you're out of character chat using [[]]{}() etc.

The Heping Dynasty:
Princess Yi Zhi Hua- female, 21 years + or - two years.
Xin Juan Lian- female, Zhi Hua's mentor, 28 years + or - two years.
Zhong Liang- male, body guard, 22 years + or - two years.
Xin Qian Mei- female, body guard, 16 years (taken by Strawberry Kitkat)

The Xuě Dynasty:
Emporer Zai Qinwen- male, 25 years + or - two years.
Lieutenant Zhi Canren- male, 28 years + or - two years.
Lieutenant Hong Chao Feng- female, 26 years + or - two years; wife of Zhi Canren.

Well, as you may have been able to figure out, this rp takes place in China. This being said, it would make more sense for your character to have a Chinese name.

In China, as in Japan, the name is said with the surname (or last name) first, and then the given name. So, for example, for Xin Qian Mei Xin is her family name, while Qian Mei is her given name.

Qian Mei's given name is a compound name; her name could have been Qian by itself, or Mei by itself. You can give your character one or two given names; however, having more then two given names would be a tad ridiculous, so lets not wander into further, even more complicated name-making territory.
