"Damnit Zero just go in there! I know your not scared just lazy!" John shouted as he pushed his body weight against Zero's back,attempting to push him into the large mansion. Zero only rolled his eyes and smiled. "Fine. Although it's your turn....idiot."He said as his voice lowered at the end of his comment. Zero started into the house,once again having to be the one to check out the house. His friends always say they would help but of course since there all chickens they never actually do anything. Zero let out a few chuckles as John fell to the ground. His friend only have him a deathly glare and Zero took that as an immediate sign to start heading into the mansion,slipping through the bushed Zero and prying open the large doors he headed inside the mansion. He quickly flipped the 'ON' button on his flashlight,immediately eliminating the dusty hallway. "Damn this place is old."He whispered to himself as Zero started through the mansion. |
Aiko felt her eyes slowly drift open but the world around her was still dark. She rubbed sleepily at her eyes as she lifted the blood red sheets off of herself. She felt around the smooth surface of her night stand for the candle and match. She could see okay in the dark but she just preferred to be in the light. She found the small match and wiped it quick and a dim light filled the space around her as she placed the flame on the wick of the candle. She brushed some of her long black hair out of her face as she looked at her dusty fingers. "Guess I slept longer then I meant to..." she said softly to herself, sleep laced in her voice. She smiled a bit as she thought of her wonderful dreams. She slipped her foot of the side of the bed and she stepped onto the dusty wood floor. She could feel it creak under her feet as she put her weight into it and slipped off the bed. She felt her hair dangle on her back as she picked up the candle. She walked across the floor being careful of the hole and she glided over to the book case that hid her bed room.
She gently pushed against the book case and it squeaked as it moved against the floor. She stepped out of the room and closed the secret passage with one push. She turned her head as she realized someone was in her house. She glided silently across the dirty wood floor and over to the rotting banister. She blew the candle out and just stood there, her eyes glued on the hallway that lead to the main entrance. |
Zero kept the flashlight in the center. After all the haunted houses he has been in looking through it kinda gets boring,although out of his peripheral vision he could see old photos and floral painted vases. As he continued down the hall he immediately stopped when Zero heard the sound of footsteps. Although it didn't really frighten him that much since he continually heard things it was different. "Is anyone here? Speak now or not at all. I don't have the time nor patience for all of you." Zero said in an aggravated tone. Silence quickly flooded the house once he stopped speaking. After a few seconds he slowly shook his head. "Maybe I'm just going crazy....wait that already happened. Zero chuckled at his own joke. Quickly searching the downstairs he soon noticed the large staircase. Here goes nothing. He thought as Kaden started up the stairs.

When she heard him call to see if anyone was around she was half tempted to make ghoulish sounds just to mess with him but as soon as he started to come near the stairs her dead heart almost started to beat. She couldn't believe this. First day out of the room and she's already going to be spotted by a human. She pulled her long dress up a bit and started towards the room again. She didn't know what to do now. She walked silently through the wooden hallways and to the room. She looked around the sheet covered furniture trying to figure out what she could do but she didn't want him to find where she slept. That's the worst thing in the world. She hadn't cleaned up in years.
She walked behind the couch and crouched down hoping that it would hid her. She lifted her dark hair off the floor and set it in her lap so she wouldn't have to worry about her hair leaving a trail behind her. She let her light eyes watch for that strange light that the boy was caring. She didn't know what it was since she'd never seen one before. It intrigued her but she feared getting hurt more then anything. |
Zero quickly made his way up the large staircase. Every step he took the board creaked under his feet. It didn't scare him since he assumed the house was pretty old from the start. Zero traveled down the hall,this time noticing old dusty painting that lined the wall and furniture covered under white sheets. As he stepped into the small...what he guessed was the living room he immediately felt something different. Maybe it was the air or the way the wood boards didn't creek under his feet but something felt different. His light circled the room as Zero walked farther inside. His fingers slowly grazed the dusty white sheets before looking up. "Is.....something here?" He asked with a serious tone. Zero had traveled to many houses but he had never felt such a strong presence before. Either it was actually a ghost or he was going crazy.....had to be either one.

XXXXXXAiko couldn't help the small jump when she felt the back of the sheet move. She slipped a hand over her mouth trying to cover it. She wanted to just stake herself for the stupid jump. She almost gave herself up. She turned her eyes and up and watched the spot of light that came from the stick she was holding. She leaned a bit to her left and saw his face. She could tell that he could feel her presences. Now she could either play with his mind or just show herself. She wasn't sure which one would do the most damage but she ultimately decided to show herself. She pushed her hair behind her before she stood straight up.
XXXXXX"The real question should be what are you doing in my house." she said as she took a match she'd hid in the back of the tight chocker she wore and lit it. She held the candle by its base as she came out from behind the furniture she was hiding behind. She walk without sound, her hair almost touching the ground it was that long. Her face was pail and her eyes shone a light yellow in front of the normal blue it was. She had a fake flowers in her hair on her right side. It matched the flower that she had on her dress. It was long and white and hugged her chest rather complimentary. She was glad that she'd worn white. It was the best color that stood out most with her black hair. XXXXXX"Now don't you think you should be leaving?" she asked as she turned her head slightly to the left. She smiled but hid her teeth. She didn't want to scare him that bad...just yet. She giggled softly as she walked passed him not giving a second thought. She wanted to find out what had happened to her once beautiful mansion. She would have to fix up the place pretending to just of found and liked the place or something since she didn't have any living relatives. Plenty of dead and undead, but none living. |
