((so we'll start on a school day at school.... i suppose. lol))

Shian was putting books in her locker and pulling out other books that she would need for the next few classes. She sighed thinking about how she messed up some problems on her math homework. She doesn't like being wrong or messing up, it made her feel stupid.

Erick sighed as he walked down the halls of his school. Once he noticed his sister at her locker, looking a little lost, he walked over to her and with a sly and sexy smile, he said "Hey, sis, what's up?" he asked as he rested his elbow above his head against the locker, close to Shian.

"oh, hey Erick. just a little upset that i had some trouble with math last night," she replied before standing up, closing her locker and then looking at him. a tiny laugh exscapped her lips when she saw the "pose" he was doing with his smile. Shian turned away from him and started walking, gracefully dogging people before they could run into her.

"If you need some help, you know you can come to me," Erik said as he quickly followed Shian down the hall. Sometimes he wished she wasn't a sister.

He was just shocked that no guy had asked her out yet.

"i know.... but you know me. i'm a little stubburn at times...." then she looked behind her realizing that her brother was following her. Shian's mind starting drifting to the way she was walking, are my hips swaying? a tint of pink touched her cheeks as she tried to stop thinking about her appearance around her brother, of all the people.
"um... so your next class is this way?"

"Yupp," Erik replied as he locked his eyes on Shian's hips. They were swaying to the point it set a little ache in him.

Of all the girls, why do I have to be so...gah...around my own sister...!? he thought to himself as he sighed. "I have English. See ya at lunch," he told her as he looked at her one last time in the eyes and gave her his 'sexy' smile.

Shian nodded at him and smiled, watching him walk away until she could no longer see him. then she sighed and walked into her classroom.

Shian stood in the lunch line, looking at the different choices she had. after paying for her miniture sub and two chocolate bars, she looked around for an empty table. her friends were still in line so it was up to her to decide where they sit.

Once Erik walked into the lunchroom, he soon saw Shian. He walked over to her table and saw her friends still in line. "Can I sit here? Kerick's sick so I don't have anywhere to sit," Erik asked as he looked at her.

Erik was going to skip lunch today. He was beginning to worry about his body's look, so he needed to start a diet.

"um... i don't mind. it'll be different," she said taking a bite into her sub. Perfect, maybe i can hook him up with Sara... she thought.
"are you not eating?" she asked, noticing he had no food. She wasn't sure way he wouldn't be eating. she ate nonstop and has maintained her weight of 110lbs for the past 2 years.

"Alright," replied Erik as he scooched into the booth and sat close to her.

"Ah, I'm not hungry," was all Erik said as he shrugged his shoulders. He kept his mouth shut once he noticed Shian's friends sit down at the table. They all looks shockingly attracting, but none of them as much as Shian.

"oh," was all she could say to him. she felt her heart racing and she hated herself for it. once her friends sat down shian took a deep breath and smiled.
"hey! oh! Erik, this is sara," she pointed to one of her friends with chin length blonde, curly hair. Sara wore a dress with a sweater to match. her hair was pulled out of her face with scarf she tied on her head. Sara smiled and blushed at Erik.

Erik took one glance at Sarah and somehow instantly felt annoyed. "Hey," he replied back in a polite manor. He didn't want to be mean in any way to Sarah's friends. Besides, what did Sarah ever do to him?

Erik looked down at his hands as he sighed. "So...," he started, wanting to make conversation.

Shian sat quietly and ate her food, watching everyone at the table. she eventually became annoyed at the loud buzzing of other students talking and yelling the commons so she put her earphones on and listened to her ipod. she then pulled out a notebook and started writting in it.
she had been working on a story for some time and every now and then, she'll pull out her notebook and write an idea in it. Shian will think about it more later and add it into the story later when she had her computer.

Erik glanced over at Shian's notebook and watched. Then he nudged her and lightly pulled out one of her headphones, trying not to seem so annoying as he could imagine he would be to her. "So...whatchya writing?" he asked her with a small smile.

Being nudged, Shian looked over at her brother a little confussed. then he proceded to ask his question explaining the nudge.
"it's an idea for a story I'm writting. it's a romance. you wouldn't be interested," she stated and looked back down at her notebook.

A guy came up behind them, seeing Shian and Erik sitting together. this guy has been after shian for sometime now and he refused to give up. Shian had never said anything to anyone because she has been able to handle him. Shian's friends grew quiet and glanced at the guy and then back to shian. A sigh came from shian and she paused her music taking out her earphones.

"hey, shian! how's it going?" the guy asked.

"i'm fine Casey. what do you want?"

"I want to know when we are going to go on a date like you promissed?"

"i never promissed anything," shian started getting her things together so that she could leave.

"You sure, Shian?" he asked her. "You never know, it might be rather interesting to me," Erik teased.

Then he turned around and glared at the guy that was talking to Shian. There was something not right about that kid. But he pushed that feeling away once the kid left as he turned to look at Shian. "What was that all about?" He spoke for everyone at the table.

Shian sighed picking up her things and standing up. "he wants to go out with me," she replied. "anyway, i need to get going to class. I'll see you later Erik."
Shian started walking slowly out of the commons.

Erik looked up at his sister and just nodded. "Alright, take care," he told her as he remained with her friends. After she had left, he leaned in to her friends.

"Alright, who is that guy and when can I kill him?" Erik immediately asked.

the girls looked at each other giggled and then back at Erik. Sara spoke up, "that was Jason, he's head of the football team. It would be wise of you to stay out of his way."
the girls got up and started to walk off as well.

A sigh escaped Erik's mouth as he looked back at Jason.

After the school day, Erik waited at Shian's locker to wait for her so he could take her home. He felt jealous of Jason.

Shian walked down the hallway looking a little irritated. Jason walked with her and was talking. each time he passed a friend, which is practically the entire school, he shouted out to them and did high fives or similur things. Shian eventually got to her locker and opened it, putting things she wouldn't need away and taking things out that she would have to take home.
Jason leaned on the otherside of her locker and watched the girl, not noticing her brother. "so, your house or mine?" he asked.
An agrivated sigh came from Shian. "no one's at the moment. we have the weekend to do the project. So we will decide later. goodbye jason," shian said. she slammed her locker shut and past Erik down the hall. Jason was left standing there. He smiled and then saw Erik. "she's soo into me," he stated and then walked off.

"Prick," he mumbled after Jason loud enough for only Shian to hear. "I'm sorry, but dude...you're actually gonna do the project with him?" he asked.

Shian glanced at her brother with a look that said "if i could switch partners, i would." then she sighed and stopped walking, "the teacher chose our partners. i have to work on a project with him."
she began to walk again, her pigtails bouncing with each step. "is mom picking us up today or are we walking again?" she asked, assuming her brother was right behind her.

"Walking. Mom said she had to stay an hour later at work," he said as he walked faster to walk beside. "Believe me...if I had a car it'd be different," he assured Shian. "By the way, you look cute with pigtails," he complimented her.

shian walked silently, she was unsure what to say to her brother saying she was cute. she hated the thought, but it made her happy to hear it.
"we should stop for ice cream or something!" she smiled and held out her hand to hold his. Shian always held someone's hand. it made her feel loved.
