Reserved for Louis and Ryousuke Only.

Name: Vladimeru Rietveld
Age: 26
Race: Human
Bio: Vladimeru works at a themed brothel in New Orleans as the prize pet of the owner, Sirius. He requires all the men and women alike to adorn themselves with pieces of nature rather than clothes. Sirius believes that clothes takes away from the natural beauty of the human body. Vladimeru doesn't completely agree, and keeps a spare wrap to wear whenever Sirius calls for a line-up.

Appearance:

------

Vladimeru finally gave a sigh of relief after he managed to quietly shut the heavy, metal back door to the brothel house. Sirius was still passed out from drinking too heavily earlier, and all the others were too busy with clients not notice Vladimeru slipping away. He turned to the dark alley around him, looking out to the brightly lit street beyond. He smiled softly and pulled the thick scarf tighter around his neck. Tonight was beautiful but cold. Winter was just about here, and already the nights were turning frosty. Soon the snow would fall. Even though it was never very thick, Vladimeru enjoyed it every year. The only downside was that there was never anyone to enjoy it with. No one who lived in the brothel cared about the snow, least of all Sirius.

Vladimeru went out to walk along the street, hands deep in his pockets as he looked around. The brothel was hidden behind the guise of a candyshop, a horribly cliche decision that Sirius came up with long ago. Other shops lined each side of the street for many blocks. Tourists were the main market here. The whole of New Orleans boasted a wide range of ethnicities around the holidays in particular. Mardi Gras was always a mess to deal with once the visitors to the city traveled off again until next year.

Vladimeru finally stopped in front of a small bookstore, just to gaze in through the tall windows. He loved to read, but his personal collection of books were few. Sirius didn't particular ban books from the brothel, but he disliked reading in general. And since he shared a room with the man, he only had one small space in which to hide stuff. The rest of the time he simply went over to this small bookstore and picked something to read off the shelf.

Vladimeru was simply gazing thoughtfully at a book on its stand when a flash of color caught his eye. He looked, and his eyes widened a little in surprise. The color was the brilliant blue eyes of a young boy he hadn't noticed standing there among the displayed books. He had just raised his hand to wave back at the boy, smiling, when the boy turned away with a blush, disappearing farther inside the store. Vladimeru lowered his hand and frowned. This boy was strange, and a tad intriguing. He turned to go up the small steps to the front door of the bookstore, pausing only to shake off his boots before entering.

The shop was thankfully much warmer than it usually was. The old shopkeeper rarely ever noticed the temperature, but ever since the wizened old man had hired his grandaughter to work hare, the shop had went through many changes. Vladimeru unwound the scarf from around his neck, draping it over his arm and shaking out his hair. He then started off through the shelves, his thoughts turned back to the boy in the window. He wondered why he had never heard even a hint of this boy. Such a face would've melted Sirius' heart, cold as it was. The boy could possibly be just another tourist though.

Vladimeru found the boy again just as he was walking away from the cash register, book in hand. Vladimeru stepped forward beside the boy, reaching to lay one hand on the boy's shoulder. He smiled down at those big blue eyes, his own eyes running over the boy's features briefly before speaking. "Hello," he started simply, nodding slightly, "May I walk with you down the street?" he asked, already steering the boy toward the door gently.

He paid for the book happily and was about to leave when a hand came down on his shoulder lightly and he froze looking up . his heart racing , then slowing when he realised it was the man from outside . He didnt feel as scared , till he asked to walk him down the street.
"Uh salutations and no i umm can go on my own." His voice feel out like wind chimes tones smoothing and unreal as he pushed the hand away , giveing him a shy smiled before exiting.
He felt bad about that but he knew not to walk with strangers , the last time he did he was almost raped ... he was grateful to the cop who stumbled in unexpectatly and save him. He pulled his coat tighter smileding at the falling snow. God he loved snow it made him all warm and fuzzy inside even if he was freezing on the outside.
He couldnt figure out why the man made him feel so weird inside when he saw him....

Vladimeru frowned at the boy's retreating back, a determined look forming in his eyes. No wonder he had never heard of the boy before. He was a shy little recluse, most likely. But the boy's remark wouldn't deter him one bit. He wanted to get to know this boy, even if he had to risk looking like a stalker. He took the scarf from his arm as he walked back toward the door, using his other hand to catch the handle before the door could swing shut. He wrapped the scarf back round his neck as he stepped down the stairs, looking left and right for the boy. He soon spotted the boy again and hurried after him, coming to a slow once he was beside the boy.

"At least tell me your name," Vladimeru requested softly. "I promise I won't hurt you. I just want to chat."

Aya jumped when he heard the voice and turned his attention to the man. His heart was racing again. he didnt know whether to trust this mans worde or not. he didnt look mean actually he was very handsome in a pretty way...

"I'll tell you my name if you tell me yours." he breathed , his wide blue eyes swirling with fear, nevrous ness, and excitement.

Vladimeru laughed at the boys answer and shook his head. This boy was indeed interesting, and very straightforward. He liked that. A bold pretty little face with a soft voice and strong mind, he could see. Sirius would kill to get his hands on this boy, if the man every found out about him, which Vladimeru doubted. And he was secretly glad for it. It sounded a bit greedy even to himself, but he wanted this boy for himself. He didn't want anyone from the brothel every knowing about the boy.

"Vladimeru," he answered, "Vlad for short, if you prefer." He glanced up to see an empty bench up ahead, and a clever smile came to his lips. He gestured over to the bench, touching his fingers lightly to the boys shoulder again. "Want to sit down for a moment while we get to know eachother?"

"That's a lovely name," Vladimeru answered as he sat next to Aya, crossing his legs and keeping his arms to his sides. The quiet message the boy had sent by pushing his hand off was recieved clearly. This boy did not like to be touched. The name sure did fit him in that way. Short and sweet, enough to miss if one wasn't listening to closely. He had never heard such a name before. It certainly rolled off the tongue better than 'Vlad.' Maybe the boy was from an immigrant family, possibly Eastern. But the blue eyes would be impossible if that were so. This boy was definitely a delightful mystery that Vladimeru was eager to solve. One piece at a time, of course. He would scare off this shy, flightly creature if he went to fast and bold.

"Honestly, I was drawn first to your pretty face in the window back there. But it was the way you speak that intrigued me more. You look like a boy, but you talk like a man. It's attractive, if you don't mind me saying," Vladimeru added with a wink at the boy.

((oh, sorry, didn't notice your last note up there. ^^;; i don't mind what color you use, just as long as its not yellow. i cant see yellow against white))

Vladimeru shook his head and smirked. "Not at all. Forgive me, for I do have strange manners of speech myself. Don't worry If you don't know what to say." He reached up to ruffle Aya's hair playfully, but then stopped short, thinking better of it as he lowered his hand again. He had to keep reminding himself that the boy didn't like to be touched. He sighed softly and watched his foggy breath float away into the falling snow. What should he say now...?

He looked down, then across at the bag the boy held. He gestured to it, asking, "What did you buy?"

Vladimeru raised an eyebrow at Aya. "A book on anthologies? I wasn't aware there was such a thing. I do enjoy some types of anthologies though, poems more than short stories. Poems are prettier," he added with a smile. He had a slight suspicion this boy was testing him, though if that was the case then he was more than willing to play that. He hadn't expected the boy to be so bright either, so it was only fair play. Maybe there was a quirky side too under that shy, blushing face. He found himself scooting closer almost unconsiously out of interest, and had to stop himself yet again.

"Oh, you mean botany," Vladimeru said with a chuckle as Aya brought out the book. Or hoped he got it right. He was feeling a little confused at what the boy was getting at. He kept trying to play along though, hoping he wouldn't come across too foolish sounding. "Is that you're best subject in school?" he asked. It surprising that a boy his age would be so into something like botany. Most the smarter ones usually went for a career as a docter, or engineer. He scooted even closer at noticing the boys lack of objection, leaning over to get a better look at the book.

" I love lilys " he breathed softly . Actually liking how close the man was he could feel his warm , that's when he notice he was cold.

"You don't?" Vladimeru asked in disbelief. "Aren't you at least homeschooled?" He shifted his hand to place beside Aya's thigh, switching his curious gaze to the boy's face. Being homeschooled would explain the boys quiet demeanor. He had always heard that homeschooled kids were more reclusive than normal.

Just as Vladimeru thought. A lonely boy braving the outside world, probably on one of his rare times that he did anything outside of his home. Vladimeru couldn't blame him though. He'd been kept up inside for most of his childhood as well. But, for reasons he felt a boy like him wouldn't, or shouldn't want to know. Growing up in a brothel house didn't make for good stories.

"Would you like to be my friend then, Aya?" Vladimeru asked in a soft voice, his face inches from the boys. He knew he was using the proximity as an advantage, but it was cute to see Aya blush. Like a delicate spring blossum, he thought.

Aya blinked friend? He blushed allitle more mostly from how close vlad was . He usually never let anyone this close to him except his mother . " I've never had a friend before..." he stated softly looking into vlad eyes " so yes vlad I would love to befriend you". He breathed a shiver running threw him as the wind picked up.

Vlad noticed the shiver and leaned back away from Aya to straighten his scarf. Then he patted the boy's shoulder briefly before taking his hand away again. "I'm happy to have you as a friend too," he answered with a smile. "Now, how about we get out of the cold. Do you mind if I walk with you back to your house?" he asked, standing up to brush the snow from his pants and stomp his boots off a bit. The wind was indeed picking up. It might get to freezing level even earlier this winter if that kept up.

Aya blinked at the pat and smiled happly for once he didn't flip out from touch . That was a big acomplamish for him. He slid the book back into it's bag and stoukd up pulling his white jacket closer . " I wouldn't mind talking to you more so sure" he breathed softly . Turning on his heels and starting to head down the side walk . " oh which is better a cat or a dog?" he asked lightly . His mom talked the dad into get a pet but it had to be one of those to options ... He'd rather have a snake or a baby shark ...

Vladimeru blinked in surprise. That was an odd question, giving how their how conversation had been going. Or maybe Aya was just thinking of something else to talk about at random. It was a lighter subject than school life, he had to admit. The boy probably just wanted to talk about anything else rather than homeschool. So, Vladimeru gave the question a long thought before answering. He'd never had a pet before. Animals weren't allowed in the brothel house. Except fish, but he could hardly call such creatures conscious beings. They were useless.

"Hmm...well, I'd have to say a cat. Dogs are great too, but they're not as smart or agile in comparison. Cat's can be a little too independent as well, but I think that adds to their charm. They're like having another little person around. Just going and coming as they please, and comforting you when you need it."

"oh really " he blinked , cats were cute to look at too. He smiled lightly " my parents said i could get one of those so ... umm i guess i'll go with a cat , but i'd much rather have a snake.." he muttered lightly. Just talking about something random cause he felt awkward. " But they said snakes were killers not pets..." he sighed lightly . His parents only saw the outside of things not the inside.
Thats why they loved him so much , he was so beautiful but they never looked farther then that. They only saw how would you say it skindeep... he sighed again , shoving his hands in his pokets and the bag hit his thigh whenever he took a step.

"I wouldn't say snakes are killers exactly, but I do say that they wouldn't make great pets. There's not much interaction with them. They eat, sleep, stay relatively still when you hold them. They're like fish in that they're beautiful, but useless," Vladimeru answered. What he honestly thought though was that snakes were too much like the people he worked and lived with. They will sit and listen to you if forced, but would rather slither off. Cat's would at least stay if you scratched their ears, or gave them treats. Like Aya, in a way. The boy could've ran off by now if he wanted, but he much friendlier than the others Vladimeru lived with. And like a cat, Aya had his own boundaries and wasn't afraid to let that be known. He would like to think of Aya as his own little kitten, but the boy would likely hate that if he knew what Vladimeru was thinking.
