Personality: When on stage or doing the things he loves, he energetic and fun loving. He truly is his stage name of sparks. When alone or when he starts to think too much he can get a little melancholy and irritable.
Background: Sparks always knew what he wanted, he wanted to shine he wanted to be in the spotlight, whether it was music, magazines or even on t.v. There was only one thing holding him back, his poor health. Asthma,along with a problem at birth caused his body to be weak and often sickly. HE grew tired and frustrated of hospitals and lying in bed. He watched the t.v. wishing he could be one of them. Models actors, rock stars.... They had so much energy and life. A friend of a friends friend, gave him a book. A book of dark magic. He would sell his body to the dark, and they would give him the health he needed to shine.

Personality: Lucas tends to be harsh and cold towards everyone, he is hardly ever nice, and doesn't back down. He doesn't often make friends, and on the rare occasion he does like someone, he won't show it easily

Sparks left the stage, sweat dripping from the sides of his face. Stage hands and workers gave him thumbs up or complimented him on his performance. It had been a last minute decision to add him to a charity rock concert. He had rapidly been climbing the charts, his new single making it into the top five. They even had a poster of him for a famous clothing line in the biggest shopping district.

Finally he was making it. A star being born amongst the dark inky sky.

He headed to his dressing room, closing and locking the door. He sat down with a sigh and grabbed a water bottle.

[[What should the thing, be that he has to give the devil or what not?]]

Lucas, appeared being Sparks in his dressing room, oh how he hated the human world, it was full of things he hated. "Enjoying your life I see" He said as he looked around the dressing room, so this was what it was like inside, a famous persons dressing room, for some reason he thought it would be much more grand, in fact it was pretty boring and dull. "However, I get the feeling you won't be enjoying it for much longer, you have a promise to keep" He said as he walked over to him and sat down on a table near him

((His body, ? Virginity? LOL!, Voice, sight perhaps, or theirs the usual soul thing but that's kinda cliche, He could also have to work for them as payment.))

He jumped, managing to toss the bottle of water into the air. It sprayed everywhere as it twirled through the air.

"What? What are you,...?" he spluttered in-eloquently as he stared at the figure who had popped into the room. His mind flashed to a pact he had made, many years ago..... Surely he still had some time left. He had just barely begun to shine. He thought with dread.

His face fell as he looked at the strange figure. He didn't want to loose all that he had gained. Sure the pact had given his body strength, but it had all been him in his struggle to fight in the super stars world.

[[I like the idea of him having to work for them ]]

"You know what I am, or who I am, or why I'm here" He said. He wasn't going to explain himself, if the kid was dumb enough to forget he made a pact with the devil, he deserved to be killed right then and there. Making a pact with the devil was not something you should forget "Thanks for the shower" He said sarcastically as he dried the water off of him.

"Don't worry I'm not here to collect just yet, you have a little bit yet, but I'm here to remind you, and you'll be dealing with me for a while" He said as he leaned in a bit closer to him "The devil doesn't forget what he's owed" He said

((alright sounds good! any ideas on what kind of work?))

"Ahhh right, of course. Uhm sorry about the water, I was just ..ah whatever." the boy got up and grabbed a towel off the counter. He plopped it on the demon's head not realizing he had already dried himself. Sparks went to go lean against the wall, his arms folded.

"So your sticking around until I have to pay up...Great..." He rolled his eyes. What time he had left would be harrased by a demon. But then again, it could be worse. He could still be stuck on that hospital bed instead of having tons of screaming fans. He would make due with what he got. They had given him what he wanted, he would pay his fine.

"What's your name anyway?" He asked mildly curious.

[[Errrr, no idea... Maybe something with helping to bring souls to hell?]]

"I didn't need a towel" he said in a cold harsh voice as he took it off his head and tossed it across the room on to a table. "You shouldn't have made a deal, if you didn't want to keep your end of it" he said coldly. Most humans thought that sure, they would make a deal, get what they want and by the time it came to pay up the Devil would have already forgotten. The devil forgot nothing, especially when it came to something he was owed, he always remembered when his price was due.

"You do not need to know my name, Sparks" He said and stared at him. Was sparks really his real name, or was that some kind of stage name? "Is your birth name really sparks?" He asked. He had let his curiosity get the best of him, if it was his birth name, his parents certainly weren't all there in the head.

"Of course I intend to do my part of the bargain! I'm not stupid! Do you think I would be crazy enough to try and pull one over on the Lord of Hell?" He fumed. He wasn't trash like his parents who always were trying to squirm out of their own debt and ask him for money. This Demon or whatever was pissing him off.

"Heh, You won't give me a name and you can ask about mine? I don't think so." he turned his back on the deomn and sat at the table. He took up the towel the demon had thrown and used it to wipe the sweat and grime and makeup from his face.

"But it this way, you were stupid enough to make a deal with the Devil, anything is possible" He said. It took a truly stupid person to make a deal with the devil, then again Sparks, had gotten a pretty good deal, working for the Devil was probably the best deal you could get, hell it was better then giving up your soul to him and spending all eternity in the depths of hell.

"It's Lucas, now I expect an answer to my question" he said. He wasn't going to be very happy, if he answered the question and he skipped out on answering his.

He decided to ignore the comments on him being stupid. this guy had no idea why he made his deal. He probably wouldn't understand even if he told him. Being tied to a hospital bed when he had such dreams....

"It's a stage name, I like to liven things up." He shrugged and grinned thinking of some of the mischief he had caused. All to help him get more fame in his career, but still it was fun.

"It's, well I would say nice, but I have a feeling your going to be a major pain, so it's OKAY to meet you Lucas..."

((Oh sorry I haven't posted in so long, I forgot to link it so I forgot it was my turn.....))

"Then what ever is your birth name?" He asked. At least he didn't have to go through life with such a lame name, that was at least a plus. Then again any pluses he had were taken away when the fact he signed a deal with the devil came up.

"I'm offended, I will not be a pain" he said. Although chances were he would be an annoying pain, that was pretty much his job after all, to stay with the kid for a while. "And I don't think it's a good idea to diss someone who could kill you, in the matter of a few seconds" he said. Although killing him wouldn't go over well with his Boss, he would end up dead to.

[[It's fine~]]

"My past name is just that the past, and however would I fill my contract if I were dead? If that's the way you demons handle business it's pretty sloppy." He grinned mischievously.

"Anyway, I need to get to my next gig. If your going to follow me, perhaps a less noticeable disguise would be good? I D0on't think the horns and claws are in fad right now. although I do know some other band members that like that sort of thing though if your interested." Again that mischievous smile popped up. The boy stood up and grabbed his gig bag. It was filled with not one or two but five notebooks full of lyrics and ideas, along with a tape recorder, music player, and well. It was pretty stuffed.

"If I was to kill you, I would get killed myself, we Demons do believe in shooting the messenger if its called for" He said coldly. Honestly sometimes taking the risk and killing a human was risk dying for, after all the life of a Demon wasn't a very glamorous one anyway.

"Erg, don't compare me to those crappy wanna-be's" He said harshly. He was nothing like those people who wished they were him, he was a real demon, with powers. "Why not? it might do you some good to stand out" He said as he looked over at him. "However standing out isn't something I like" he said and with that, his horns disappeared , and he had normal human fingers. He wasn't fond of having to walk around like that, but it was better then standing out to much, he was only here because he had to be.

He shrugged, he didn't really care either way, but people may ask questions and he wasn't sure if this would hurt his reputation or not. A thought passed his mind but he shook it off.

He could fall a little in fame and prolong his time before he needed to pay his dues. But that seemed wrong, and he hated not being the star he had worked so hard to be. no it would not do. For now, he had a photo session to get to.

A knock on the door, and then a head popped in.

"Sparks, your car is ready to take you to the shoot." An older man smiled politely at the door, waiting to escort him outside. he blinked at surprise at the other figure in the room.

"Ah is this a friend or a fan?" he asked curiously.

"an acquaintance, Mr Vanderben. thank you for coming to get me." He smiled his model smile and made sure he had everything of his. "He's with me for the time being. My new, assistant, right Lucas?" He looked back at the demon, a teasing smile on his face.




(( we should make Lucas a part of his band/ Idol new duo... :D Maybe the camera guy at the photo shoot pulls him into the shoot.))

Lucas resisted the urge to laugh and say something rude when he asked if he was a friend or a fan, he was neither. He didn't care for Sparks at all, then again he was a Demon and didn't have any friends, and he certainly wasn't a fan of him, at all, or his music or his band.

Lucas glared at him some when he said assistant, oh how he would get revenge for that remark "Yeah an assistant" He said and gave Sparks a look. He had never in his life been called an assistant and he didn't plan on starting it now, besides if he thought he was actually going to do some form of work for him, he was joking himself.

"If were going lets go" he said. He didn't want to stand around and do nothing, besides he wanted to see what was soo good about this boy that he was getting all of these fans all of a sudden.

[[That sounds like a good idea]]

He nodded and headed out following the assistant manager. he wasn't particularly assigned to him, but to several managers and other promising idols. He hadn't quite gotten a manager of his own yet, but he was expecting one soon.

He walked down the hallway thinking over his previous performance. The crowd had seemed to enjoy it, and he knew he did well. In fact he had a blast. the lights were perfect and the sound quality was good with the speakers. He had practiced that song for weeks. It was lucky he could preform it so soon. Maybe with this new song he could get higher in the charts.

The hallway ended with a backstage door which the assistant manager opened for them. Outside a sleek black car with tinted windows waited. It wasn't a Limo, not yet, still it was a very nice car.

Lucas followed after him quietly, famous people always such show boats. Then again demons weren't much different, they liked to show off themselves, with grand entrances and with there powers and what not, so he really had no room to comment. Once the reached the car he looked at it, he was surprised it wasn't some thirty foot limo that could fit half the audience in it, but it seemed he wasn't that famous yet, not at least, but he was getting there.
