Name: Anate Rue

Age: Twenty five

Everything hurt…It was too much. Anate looked up, unable to recognize the male carrying him, and once more begged to be put out of his misery. The tall man, having heard this for the past half hour or so, ignored him, continuing the trek to the hospital.

~<3~

He kept fluttering in and out of consciousness, due to his raging fever. But Anate was dimly aware of white sterile walls, being carried into a hospital. He was so cold, then hot. His thin limbs kept shaking, and when his sleeves were wrenched up on his arms, it became noticeable. Once more, Anate was dimly aware of needles being pressed into his arms. In his mind, Anate smiled bitterly. Good luck getting anything from those veins.

As he’d thought, the nurses were unable to draw blood from his arms: The veins had collapsed far beyond that point years ago. As his body wrenched and thrashed while Anate coughed, he once more fell into an unconscious state, unaware that he was stripped, dressed in a hospital gown, and blood was drawn.

The next few hours were spent like this, with nurses and various doctors looking him over. When he was aware of their scrutiny, the twenty five year old male had to turn his eyes away. He knew how low he’d sunk, knew he was worthless now. Did it have to be so plain in their eyes? During his sane moments, the male answered questions and the like, though it wasn’t sure who’d brought him in. He wanted to leave. needed to leave. Needed to get some more…

But they wouldn’t let him, even after he’d explained he had no job or insurance. He hadn’t had any drugs on him, however, they’d been more than obvious in his system, despite the fact it had been almost ten hours since his last dose, so they were making him stay. Wanted to send him to some stupid rehab facility.

The current nurse was in the process of gathering up his full tray of food and leaving, letting him know they’d have no choice but to release him, though they wanted to do a few more things first, including x-rays, since he was still having pain in his ribs, and in the condition he was found, it was possible they were broken…

Anate’s emerald green eyes drifted down, eying the pants he’d finally gotten back, and his bandaged arms. God, it’s like he was drenched in gauze…If they could have bandaged the injection spots between his toes, they would have…

Name: Rio Fiturite
Age: 26

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why had he decided to take the late shift to cover Kataru? Rio was starting to feel the affects of only 4 hours of sleep and a long day of classes, before having to come back to work. It was horrible honestly. But it was what he wanted to do. So, he was volunteering to practice his license in radiology. Or x-rays. It was alwaysy busy towards the night time. Though he didn't see why. What the hell were people doing at night time that they needed to come in and get an x-ray? It was ridiculous. And only a part of the people were there for x-rays, another bunch were for other things.
Rio had decided to go to the emergency room area thinking it wouldn't be as busy. Boy was he wrong. Tonight however, it was actually pretty slow. Which was when he decided to sit down at the main desk and drink a cup of coffee. Half way through his cup of coffee did he have to take an x-ray of someone.
"Rio! You've got to take an x-ray of someone. Since he doesn't have insurance or anything no one else will do it. And it's not like you get paid..." That was a fellow worker. A doctor who didn't understand the need for coffee. But Rio sighed, and moved his legs off the rounded desk and stood up. "Alright. I'm going." He took a gulp of coffee while he was handed the file.
Walking and reading was the easy part. When you worked in a hospital, you learned to be able to walk, read, talk, and avoid bumping into others running around. Amazing right? People who worked in hospitals, really needed to work at the Circus. For some reason, Rio kept thinking he knew the name. And when he entered the patients room, he was sure now. He knew Anate. They were friends in high school. To see him like this, and read about him made him feel really bad for his long lost friend.
Rio sighed. He had never expected Anate to be in this situation. He slapped the file onto a table, and moved a wheel chair over to bring him to the X-ray room. "How are you feeling?" He asked while he began to unhook Anate from everything he was hooked up to. He didn't plan on telling him who his was, unless ofcourse, he decided to help the poor man.... Which was on an idea that was floating around in his head.
The male had continued to eye the bandages, then staring at the ones adorning his chest. He’d patches taped over his legs and face as well. Those men had really messed him up. He’d raised his head, however, hearing the squeak of a wheelchair at his doorway.
The dark haired male raised his eyes, and was unable to hold in a tiny gasp of surprise. Rio! They’d been best friends at high school…He was working in the hospital now? Anate’s tongue darted out, wetting his lips nervously. Good lord, Rio couldn’t see him like this! His eyes flitted to the file in the other male’s hand. Had he already looked through that? Anate found himself wondering this, despite the fact chills had started again, shaking his body.
Dimly, he was aware of Rio questioning him, and more questions ran through his mind. Had Rio even recognized him? Anate hoped he hadn’t, in a way. He opened his mouth to speak, watching through half lidded eyes. The world spun, and pain shot through his body. Instead of words, however, a groan wrenched itself from Anate’s throat. His body broke out in sweat, even though his teeth began to chatter. Rio was unhooking various things, and Anate fought a moment of panic.
His childhood friend…what would he think? The whole night, everyone had been looking at him with undisguised disgust, could he handle that from Rio? The horrible pain shot through him again, and Anate felt like he was going mad. He reached out, gripping at Rio’s arm, no longer caring it the male saw his scars and the new track marks running up his arm. “Diamorphine?” He begged, asking for a drug available in the United Kingdom, though it was illegal here. All he knew was it was a pill he could get his hands on if his heroin dealer was out, and it worked almost as well. “Please?” God, was that awful whimper coming from him?
Rio had noticed his friend in pain, and God it hurt to see him like that. He grimaced, not in disgust but in sadness. That was the only bad thing about working at a hospital. You saw some nasty stuff. You wouldn't think horses bite, but one guy lost his hand to a horse, and even worse stuff. But what was worse was seeing someone you knew like that. He tried to ignore it however, and continued to unhook different things. Was unhooking all this making Anate's pain worse? He was taking a needle out of Anate's arm when his arm was was grabbed. Surprised, he looked up.
His expressions softened seeing his poor friend in such a bad condition. He shook his head. He wasn't allowed to give that away no matter what. It wasn't his area of buisness. "I-I'm not allowed to give that.....it's illegal anyways.... I'm sorry." He told him sincerely. He finished taking out the needle, and took out the last thing hooked up to Anate. "Okay, this might hurt." He warned, before moving his arms under Anate. One under his knee's, and the other under his shoulders. Slowly and gently, Rio picked his friend up and placed him in the wheel chair.
Rio grabbed the file, and wheeled Anate over to his speciality. In the room, he put the necessary stuff over his body and moved Anate to the metal table in the X-Ray room. He moved Anate to the proper position and asked him to stay still. After taking a few X-rays of one place, he would move Anate around and take another couple of X-rays of that one and so on and so forth. When he was done, he wheel Anate back to his room and told the nurses he would take care of Anate's bills and to take good care of him. He left the room, leaving the nurses to hook him back up, while he checked up on his X-rays to print them out and check them out.
Rio took notes, noticing a fractured rib and a twisted wrist, and broken ankle. He couldn't imagine what Anate had been up to. It made him nervous. How could his friend be in so much trouble? So much pain? And why one Earth had he started taking drugs? This was not the Anate he knew and had been best friends with. But for Christs Sake he was going to help Anate in anyway he could. For old times sake atleast.
Rio denyed him. Denied him that rush, the only thing that Anate knew could soothe this pain. He felt tears welling in his eyes and he whimpered once more. God, no…don’t cry! Anate berated himself, not hearing as Rio spoke to him. He felt arms slid under his underweight body, and lift him up. The movement jolted aching joints and mucles, forcing Anate to bite back a cry, though he couldn’t help his increase in trembling.
He was placed in a wheelchair, and automatically, his arms gripped his torso. Anate rocked slightly, though it caused him more pain. Didn’t Rio understand? He needed something! He remained quiet, for the most part, as a heavy vest was placed over him, and Rio had him pose in several ways, the x-ray machine whirring and snapping various pictures of his bones.
He was embarrassed, knowing how he must look to his old friend, though it huddled in the back of his mind, Anate’s main concern being how he could get out, back to the alley. They could rob him again, for all he cared. He just needed one more dose.
Soon, Anate was back in his own room, though he was fading once more, not aware of the new needles sliding into him. His dreams were restless, tossing and turning, and once more having cold sweats. At some point during the night, he regained his mind, unable to keep his eyes from focusing, and began once more arguing with the nurse. He needed to go, had things to do. She sighed, tired of the same old speech from the male. “Look, your bills are being paid for, so don’t worry about insurance. And you can’t even walk with your vertigo, so you couldn’t go anywhere anyway. If you aren’t gonna eat, it’s your choice. Here’s the call button. Press if it’s an emergancy, not because you wanna leave!” She shook her head again, and left soon after.
Anate, however, disagreed with her opinion. He could too walk. And what did she mean, ‘paid for’? With the ease of someone used to needles, he began unhooking himself from the hanging bags and implements. On shaky legs, he stood. The male stumbled to the wall, clinging to the railing the hospital had there, and began making his way out. Surprisingly, no one seemed to notice for the most part, thinking he was yet another patient, given permission to be out of bed. Soon, however, the spinning world Anate saw got to him, and he fell forward. His arms were shaking badly once more, and Anate found himself unable to push up. All he wanted was one more dose…then he’d quit his heroin…they just needed to let him go for now…let him get one more dose…
Rio was once again behind the desk, desperately sipping at his coffee. Hours had passed, and he had taken so many more patients x-rays. Where were all the other damn radiologists that actually got paid?! He wasn't going to go all their work for them. He refused. After a few more minutes he decided it was time to give his old friend another visit. Because, he wanted to, and because he was hiding from the others, and because he needed to stay awake. And what better way to do all those things and see an old friend. Despite their bad condition. Dodging some workers, he walked down the hall to Anate's room. Which he had mesmorized the number to....
Rio got there just in time. Though not fast enough to catch Anate. He did however pick him up and hook him back up to everything. "Do you listen to anyone? I'm sure the nurse told you to stay, you hard headed butt." He chastised, placing the needles back into his friend. He didn't even care about not noticing who Anate was anymore. He was sure Anate knew who he was. And then he noticed some things in the room. At work it was the hardest with his Syndrome. He preffered things to be in height order, or alphabatized. And to most people Rio didn't even like talking to. But he knew Anate so well, he was almost normal around him. Almost.
Rio began to reorganize the things in the room. Almost robotic.... He couldn't help it really. He was surprised Anate had even gotten to be his friend in high school. But then again, he had just taken a liking to Anate easily in high school. It was weird honestly. When that was done he sat down next to Anate's bed. He was have to watch him to make sure he didn't try to get out of bed again.
It was hard, when Anate realized it was Rio lifting him up once more. The male spoke, trying to joke with Anate, but the dark haired male just turned his head away as he was placed back in the bed, and Rio slid the needles back into him.
After a moment, Rio moved away, and Anate couldn’t help his curiousity. He turned his head, watching the man. He was rearranging things…he’d done that in high school, hadn’t he? A smile, almost foreign to Anate now, pushed it’s way on his face, despite the tremors shaking him. “Rio…” He finally muttered, turning his head away once more, sensing more than seeing as the male sat next to his bed. “Go ‘way…don’t want you here.” Which, actually translated, was Anate’s way of saying he didn’t want the male to see him like this.
A moment later, however, his body jerked into an upright position, and Anate began coughing once more, his breathing raspy. It was gone mere seconds after it started. Though Anate’s eyes were unfocused, he spoke again, “I-it hurts…please, Rio, make this go away…” It was hard…normally Anate was so strong, and refused to cry, but with the drug having taken such a strong hold over him, Anate was reduced to a snivelling, whining puddle with tubes stuck in it.
Rio had only been sitting for a few moments when Anate said he didn't want him there. And thinking back, he just shrugged. Either Anate meant it or it was his way of saying that he didn't want to be seen like that. But it was too late and he had seen a whole bunch of him already. And it wasn't like had hadn't heard that he hadn't been wanted somewhere. For someone with a Syndrome it was amazing that he had any friends. Honestly. But then Anate was coughing. Immediately, Rio put a hand on his friends back and rubbed gently, only for him to stop seconds later. He blinked when Anate begged for him to make 'this' go away. He decided 'this' meant the pain. He nodded and hurried out.
Rio akwardly entered a room he hadn't been into before. He cleared his throat and the person in the room looked up. After a couple of minutes he was able to get the medicine tube and took it to Anate's room. He hooked it up and then sat back down. "It's a pain killer...." He mumbled, still recovering from the akward experience he had just had. But for a friend in need, since he had so few, he would do anything. Even meet someone he didn't know to help them. Never again did he want to do that. But at this point, he wasn't sure what was going to happen. Especially if he was going to help Anate on a normal basis, which he planned. He had his own apartment. Though things were like he wanted them to be he could rearrange a few things so that Anate to come live with him if he needed.
Rio at this point didn't know what Anate would need. But he knew that Anate needed help. If Anate didn't come to live with him, he would make sure he sent a nurse over constantly to check on him. He'd pay for it all if he had to... Even if he didn't make the most money in the world and just paying for Anate's needs at the hospital would cut down half of the money he earned at other places.
Anate watched, his emerald eyes wide, as the new liquid made it’s way to him. He settled back on the bed, though he still gripped the sheets tightly. Soon, he glanced to Rio, without moving his head. “T-thanks….” He muttered, through chattering teeth.
There was a pause before he spoke once more, “W-why are you doing this? You haven’t seen me I-in…six? Was it? Years…Y-you look good though…you a doctor or sommat now?” Without realizing it, his hands were loosening on the bedspread, and Anate’s eyelids became heavier. It had been nice, back then. He’d had a ton of friends, though he’d always considered Rio his closest. Actually, that was how all this started, Anate supposed.
Oh, yeah, he’d been the one to inject the needles, but, looking back, it was always funny to remember how it had been pushed on him. He’d been so stupid, and on the right track. Heroin took over soon after. Now, Anate felt lost most of the time, even when he’d taken a dose. Seeing Rio reminded him how low he’d sunk.
Rio nodded to the thanks he recieved from Anate. It was nice to talk to someone and not worry about the akwardness first because he had already known Anate and gotten past all that a long time ago. He looked away for a moment before Anate began to speak again. He looked over at him and bit his lip. He looked down. "You are a friend.... I don't have a lot of friends.... No. I am a radiologist..." The akwardness came back a little, and his words came out in jerky ways. It was all over the place. Almost as bad as when he had first met Anate. He'd been sitting all alone at lunch, and Anate had just came over and sat infront of him. Why, he would never know. But then Rio had just sat there silently before mumbling in jerky all over the place that his food was annoying him.
Then, Rio's arms had moved over and rearranged Anate's food in height order. Rio wasn't sure why they had became friends after that, but whatever the case was, he was happy about it. He liked being Anate's friend, and was glad to see him again. It's been so long, and he had only one to two more friends now. To have Anate back was like a miracle. Even in his bad condition.
Even though Rio had spoken to Anate, he really didn't think he would be getting an answer because it looked like Anate was falling asleep. Which was fine by him. He knew Anate needed his rest, especially by the way he looked and the files said. It was really bad...
The male glanced down, eying his bandages once more. Not much of a friend. He’d disappeared, left his family and friends behind long ago. He didn’t like the man he’d become, and didn’t want others to see him like that. It had torn his mother apart every time he’d come home.
“Radiologist…” He finally muttered, giving a tiny nod. “X-rays..yeah…you did them a little bit ago…” The male did fall asleep, soon after, though it was restless. He reached out, before he did so, gripping Rio’s sleeve.
The other male had something, that was right…Ass something…As…asperg…Gah…It was much to hard to think of. But, it was the reason Rio didn’t have many friends…He couldn’t empathize with people well. He’d been so strange in high school. Maybe that’s why he’d sat down that day…Anate couldn’t remember details right now. His mind was fuzzy. Why think when you could sleep? Before sleep fully took Anate, he heard himself mutter to Rio, “Don’t be nervous…I may have changed, but I’m still me…” He had trouble speaking, if Anate remembered, and it was worse, jerky, like it had been a moment ago, when Rio was nervous.
Rio was surprised that Anate had lasted so long before falling asleep. Normally the medicine had people knocked out like a lamp after a minute or two, and now he wasn't sure how long it'd been. But Anate was still awake and talking. He nodded. He had take X-rays of Anate maybe like hours ago. But he didn't argue with Anate. He didn't argue with anyone. It was his Syndrome. Asperger's Syndrome. He sometimes corrected people without noticing. And sometimes talked to someone not noticing that they had fallen asleep, or tried to elaborate on what he was talking about, or that they weren't interested. He did that when he talked about X-rays, and he fought back the urge to talk about X-rays. He loved X-rays. That's why he had become, or was becoming, a Radiologist. Though it was amazing he did so well in school.
Rio blinked when Anate gripped his sleeve. He looked at him, waiting for him to speak. His cheeks turned a bright red when his friend spoke. And then his mind switched to X-rays. And he began to talk on and on about different facts about X-rays. He didn't notice or remember that the pain killer he'd given Anate had made him fade into sleep. He just kept talking and talking, Anate's hand gripping his sleeve still. He was like this for a long time, not even repeating anything, or stopping to see if Anate was paying attention or was awake or if he wanted to comment. It was his Syndrome. A sad fact...
Rio did however stop after such a long time, and just sat there in silence. Letting his mind wander into all about X-rays....
A bit into his nap, Anate woke with spasming coughs once more. He was no doctor, but something was seriously wrong. He hadn’t been told too much, and had no way of knowing inside that little file with his name, it was listed that his liver was failing, or that the lining of his heart was infected.
Unable to speak, the male reached to the side of his bed, remembering the pan. He retched into it for a few moments, before laying back and groaning. His body was developing goose bumps once more. Once his breathing calmed, Anate remembered Rio, and glanced over frantically. It had been nice, seeing him again, however, through the hospital window, Anate could see the sun peeking in, and there was no telling whether or not the man had left.
Rio stood up and left the room right before Anate had woken up. He had to clock out. But that didn't mean that he was leaving. He clocked out, bought another cup of coffee and then returned to the room. He managed a small smile, though sometimes with his Syndrome it was a hard time showing his emotions. He was happy to see that Anate was awake. He simply walked in and sat back down in his chair that was placed right next to Anate's bed. He took a big gulp of coffee before talking. "Good morning." He mumbled. He had been up the whole night, since he was working, on four hours of sleep, and now he didn't think he'd get any sleep at all. He didn't have any classes today and he'd already called in "sick" to his bosses. It'd been an akward call....
"You.... feeling better?" Rio asked a little jerky at the beginning. He hoped that Anate had been feeling better though he doubted it. He took another big gulp of the coffee. God he needed sleep... But there was no knowing when he would get to have another good sleep. He would be lucky if he got in one hour of sleep. He vowed that the next time Anate fell asleep he would too. That was, if the coffee was wearing off by then.
Anate had fallen back on the bed, staring at the empty chair, until Rio’s voice startled him. His emerald eyes turned to the male, and he nodded, lying. The cravings were getting worse, and Anate wasn’t sure he could simply lay in the bed any longer.
“You were awake all night?” He questioned Rio after a moment, before licking his dry lips. “I…wanted to ask a favor, Rio. I’ve got some…” Anate averted his gaze, “Some stuff, that I need to do, but the nurses and junk won’t let me go. They want to send me to some rehab, and I can’t afford this stay anyway. Will you make them let me go? Talk to them, tell them I‘m fine?”
Rio sighed but took Anate's nod. Even if he didn't look that good. But who was he to know if Anate felt better or not? He wasn't Anate, he couldn't feel what his friend felt. So he hoped Anate wasn't lying and left it at that. It was his turn to nod, and nodded to Anate's question about being up all night. But it wasn't Anate's fault he'd been up all night. It was simply his job that kept him awake. Though he had been hiding from everyone... He did that sometimes. He would just hide from everyone. Even at work. He was only volunteering after all. What could they do? Fire him? They couldn't, he was a volunteer.
Rio listened to the favor Anate asked and shook his head. "No." And then he began to get nervous. He hoped Anate wouldn't get mad at him. He hoped he wouldnt be yelled at or worse. So he defended his case. "I read....your....file....and it was.....bad......I'm paying.....for the hospital stay......so....don't worry about....it... You will... go to rehab...... it's free...." His speach was affected by his Syndrome again. And it was pretty bad.
Anate sat quietly for a few minutes, chewing on his lip. He wasn’t mad. He’d been expecting his request to be denyed, and Rio’s voice was showing how nervous Anate had made him. Rio paying for this, however, made him flinch.
“You can’t pay for this…” He muttered. This was his own fault, after all. He didn’t want another person cleaning up after him. “A-and I’m fine. I need to get home, Rio. I can’t stay here, okay? I could quite doing drugs anytime I wanted okay? So I don’t need rehab, and I feel just fine now.” Contrary to his words, Anate began coughing right away. Once he was done, he threw a pleading glance to Rio. “J-just let me go home, okay? I’ll keep in touch this time…” Like he ever had a home. He hadn’t been able to pay any kind of rent for a while now. He was a squatter, living with a group of other addicts in a run down abandoned factory. But, still, maybe he could get a stamp there.
(Stamp=measurement of heroin. :D yay, research! It‘s getting light and I‘m soooo tired…I‘ll need to leave soon.)
Rio shook his head the whole time Anate spoke. And instead of saying anything about before he spoke about the home part. "Do... you need a...... free...... place to stay..... in?" If one couldn't pay for a hospital visit could he pay for rent? Or did he still live with his parents? Or maybe friends? Anate had always had a lot of friends. Rio remembered that. It had made him jealous for quite awhile, and still kind of did. He was jealous that so many people accepted Anate for who he was. No one liked a freak with a Syndrome.... He hoped Anate would suck it up and accept his help. He really doubted that Anate would keep in touch. Anate didn't even have his phone number, or address, or anything. But he wanted to make sure that Anate got help and quit his drug problem. It was bad and Rio wanted to keep his friend alive. He was one of the few that had accepted him and that meant a lot to Rio. He was going to be a good friend.
[Lol. Yeah. Same here. Except, I'm leave now. Lol. Bye bye! Talk to you later? :3]
The male debated for a few moments, rubbing his gauze covered arms. He had many skin problems, from injecting himself too much. But, how could he accept Rio’s offer? He had nothing to offer in return, and he was already trying to pay Anate’s medical bills.
“I…can’t.” He finally mummered. “Thanks, though. I…Look, Rio, please, I don’t want your sympathy, okay? I can take care of myself…” He didn’t want to hurt the light haired male’s feelings, but there was no way Anate could except his offer. Deciding on a bit of truth, to soften his words, the boy picked at his gauze slowly. “I don’t think I could quit this, even with rehab. I don’t know if I want to.”
Rio was just as kind as always. In the past, Anate had stuck up for him, almost forcing his friends to like Rio. But, Anate didn’t want to feel like he was taking advantage of the man, either.
(-waves- have a good day! Talk to ya soon!)
Rio gulped when Anate told him a pretty harsh thing. He'd only been trying to help. He owed Anate. Whether Anate think Rio owed him or not, Rio knew he owed Anate. He owed Anate because Anate had been his friend when no one else wanted to. Had made sure that he shared his own friends with Rio. And that was the most valuable thing to a boy with Asperger's Syndrome. Was to have friends. It was always so lonely, whether people talked to him or not. Anate had made him feel like just a normal person. And for that, Rio owed Anate his life. And he intended on doing so. Anate said he couldn't, which meant that he didn't have a place of his own but didn't want Rio to help. And then came the truth. Anate didn't know what he wanted to do about the drugs. And that's where he would have to come in.
"You.....you may not....understand this but....I owe you..... So you're coming.....to stay with me....you are going to rehab....and you will stop taking drugs...." He had never told someone what to do and it frightened the living crap out of him. He didn't want Anate to get mad, but his friend didn't know what was good for him and as his friend, not as someone who owed him, he wanted to do everything he could to help Anate. It was what he had put his mind to, and once a person with Asperger's Syndrome put their mind to something that was all the mattered anymore.
Anate's mouth twitched, a combination of the boy wanting to laugh, and wanting to cry. Finally, he nodded, too tired to argue. "Fine, for living with you...for now...I'll think about rehab. And I am paying you back."
He perked up slightly, "Does this mean I can leave soon, Rio?"
Rio took that for now. It was better than nothing. But he shook his head to Anate paying him back. He had payed him back a long time ago and now he was paying him back. It was a weird way of looking at that. Rio tapped his fingers against the coffee's cup, and took a sip of the coffee. And then Anate asked that question and Rio sighed. He nodded. "Yeah." He mumbled. It did mean that because he would be in Rio's care. "3 hours...." He added. He would get Anate out of there in 3 hours. It would help him get a little better and would give Rio time to get everything set up and such.
Anate nodded, “Thanks. Appreciate it.” He paused again, evaluating Rio, “You…look good. I’ve missed you.” That was hard, to talk about his emotions. But he had. Rio had been a great friend, and when Anate had decided he was leaving everything behind, Rio had been the hardest.
But, now, here they were, and Rio had seen him at his worst, and didn’t seem to be disgusted. He wasn’t throwing pity on Anate: He truly just wanted to help. Regret bubbled in the male’s stomach…Rio wouldn’t have to help if he wasn’t like this.
Rio just nodded. He couldn't believe Anate had loved his drugs so much. He had enough problems as it was, he didn't want drugs on it too. Which was one of many reasons why he didn't do drugs. He blushed and nodded agai. "Thank you.... I missed you too..." Normally Rio would have said the same thing back but Anate honestly didn't look good so he couldn't lie. When he thought back though, he knew Anate was good looking. Anate had been his first crush. Though he had never told Anate that he had liked him. And now, he wasn't sure if he did like him again or not. After having a crush on Anate he had actually had a boyfriend for awhile. Until the boy had found another boy who didn't have Asperger's Syndrome. Or any Syndrome for that matter.
”You should lay down?” Anate muttered, sitting up, to slid off the bed, though the world spun. He remained their for a minute. “Would you get in trouble? I’ll move off this bed…or are there beds here or something?” He groaned, standing and leaning on the cot.
For some reason, his ankle was troubling him. “Hey…you said you read my file. What exactly did they sa6y was wrong with me? Besides, uh, the heroin…”
