Hara put the fairy on the crate inside the shop downtown that sold them mythical creatures. He was a bounty hunter by nature so this should be something that could be called as normal. As he looked back at the child, he smiled as he put his hand on the table, on either sides of her hips. The candy should've dissolved by now but surely, her tongue should still be feeling numb. "Can you talk?" he started, his voice barely a whisper as he'd put his face close to her own. He'd already cuffed her hands together - one that should suck in much of her energy for later's show. He couldn't stay long, of course, but he'd thought he'd do a good deed while he was here in front of her.

"Even if you can't, you remember your parents?" he asked. His sunglasses blocked her view of his eyes - ones that held mirth and laughter in them. "I'm sure you do." He lifted up his hand to brush the back of his fingers on her cheek, "You wouldn't be crying like this if you don't." Hara smiled slightly and he shook his head. "They're safe," he told her, "One's working to clean a mansion in another country and your father..." His slight smile turned to one of something akin to sadistic.

"He's sold to a scientist. I doubt you'd want to hear where they turned up to."

Brushing her hair back and tucking them behind her ear, he continued on. "You, I hope you end up in a good place." The human reached up to reach around her neck where she had a pendant hanging around her neck. It was somewhat akin to a symbol of freedom, of being not binded in the world of the myths. He pulled it out and watched her lose her glow. "And this, I'll be taking." It paid a lot after all. He pocketed the item and pulled back just as some big guy called out to him.

"Bye-bye, little faerie."

Hara left after he'd gotten his payment. Brushing his hair back a little and smiling mostly to himself, he walked to a restaurant near his place and decided to get some dinner before he went home. Nothing like awarding himself after a hard day's worth of work - even though he didn't do most of the work. As for the Starlette... what should I do with him? he thought to himself as he seated himself after he'd ordered. Surely enough, the boy should be cute after what he'd done to him. He hadn't really stayed too long to know what his reaction was.

The fairy girl was left with a dimmed state of corrupted awe. Silent tears streamed down her cheeks like diamond fountains, and horror became a central part of who she was. As the man left, she hoped he suffered, as she would. She cursed him to the seven rings of hell.

Exla, on the other hand, was now...very lost. He didn't know how to get down town for one, and thus didn't know how to get out of down town for another. So, he and his little socked feet wandered around idly for a while, until he came across something almost familiar. That took a while, and the massive amount of human architecture was starting to block his view of the moon. The longer the moon was out of sight, the more nervous he began to be. The moon was like a babysitter, for those Starlettes who pass through this way. Her Spirit-Woman was a kind lady, and always told him funny stories if he could stop and listen. When he would go out of her sight for a while, and come back into it, she'd tell him another direction to go to lead him out towards the forest.

She had seen what that man, Hara, had done throughout his life. She knew he was a bad creature, but the little Starlette, so Naive and young, couldn't seem to compute him as such. Even when he wasn't in her sight, he was smiling faintly and thinking back about the man, and how his head and stomach had fluttered like lightning bugs when he'd been shown affection. This part, the moon had little trouble with. But the badness, the surely poor intentions this 'Hara' had for the little Star, made her uneasy. She would have to talk to His Ladies and tell them he would be delayed.

When Exla was safely out of down town and into a more open section he recognized, the moon told him to find the little Fairy's home and rest there until the next night. She hoped silently that the man would touch and leave the boy alone, let him return home and be held and comforted by the woman, because surely, he would need it. She left him alone for now, turning to talk to His Ladies.

Exla himself walked right past the restaurant, bouncing and glowing very faintly. He was so excited for the next evening. He could see the man again! Maybe he should find a pretty dress to wear, to look like the fairy Princess'. Would he take him to dinner? Or bring glass slippers? He squealed again and did a little dance, before continuing on towards the forest.
