Reading the continents of her letter one more time, Clare refolding it before replacing it back in the envelope and setting it into the box. Picking it up, she carried it to her room and set it on her bed. Stretching her sore muscles, she headed back to the kitchen before sitting down on the ground and watching Corey. |
Corey took awhile to finished the steak. When he did he lapped up water. After that, he jumped into Clare's lap and layed down on it. He looked up at her, and licked her chin.

By the time that Corey had finished his meal, Clare was leaning against the counter and resting her eyes. She wasn't asleep, but she had let herself relax. It was because of this that she jumped slightly when Corey got into her lap. Opening her eyes, she raised a slim eyebrow at his antics before her licked her, instantly dissolving her composure as she burst out into a fit of giggles. Meeting his eyes, she chuckled lightly before scratching him under the chin, grinning. "Your such a silly dog, you know that?" |
Cory absolutely loved the scratches under his chin. He barked lightly when she called him a silly dog. He didn't mind. He had to show his emotions somehow without words. Besides, he was just an overall energetic person.

Still grinning, she giggled slightly as she continued to pet him. "So, Corey, what should we do today," Clare absently asked out loud, thinking about what would be a good way to spend the day.

Corey knew exactly what they should do. He jumped down and ran to the front door. He scratched at it. He wanted to show her his diner. He allowed animals and some knew his dog shape because they too were shifters. He scratched and barked wanting her to follow. That was understandable, right?
