Tomoya listened to her and nodded. He hugged her and knew she'd be fine. He felt her yawn lightly and nodded. "Go sleep." He told her, more like ordered her. He didn't want her to stay awake because she was worried about him. He'd be fine.

Mesa frond slightly looking up at Tomoya. "But I don't want to go to my room... I wanna stay with you.." she pouted softly up to her brother not moving from his arms but clinging to him some.

Tomoya sighed, but nodded. "Fine." He slowly began to stand up all the way. He swayed when he was standing, feeling a little dizzy. He grabbed onto the counter for help standing up.

Mesa stood also and slipped his arm around her neck trying to help him stand... which was actually working pretty well. "Are you okay?" she asked worriedly as she looked up at Tomoya softly hoping he was and that he would let her help him to which ever room he wanted to go into rather it be her room or his she didn't care either way.

Tomoya nodded with a sigh. He would be fine, it was just a cold. He hated when he made her worry like this. It ate him up inside. "Just Hungry." He muttered and tried to move towards the refridgerator. There had to be something to just heat up from stuff that the people brought because of their parents passing.

"Ow okay... Do you want me to warm you up something so you can sit down?... that might make you feel a little better right?" Mesa asked softly helping him walk she didn't want to take a chance on him falling over again... she didn't want him to get hurt.

Tomoya sighed and shook his head. "I'm fine Mesa. I don't want you to get sick." He really was worried about making her catch his cold or whatever. He slowly made it to the fridge and opened it. He looked inside to see what they had but there was so much he had to take things out just to see what it was.

A few days passed and Tomoya got better though just when they thought they were in the clear a letter came up in the mail and Mesa brought it to Tomoya not opening it... Tomoya had told her not to open mail that doesn't have her name on it... and the mail didn't. This is some of what the letter read...

Dear Mr.Kitsuni
It has come to our attention that your housing and electric bills are over due if they are not payed your house shall be put into foreclosure and you must find a new home. Though if the bill is paid you are fine if not you have 30 days to sell the house and be moved out...

And the letter continued from there in the same format explaining that Tomoya's name had been placed on the house since his parents were dead and he was the one they left the house to.

Tomoya grabbed the letter and read it. He sighed. As if he didn't have enough problems. Now he needed to find a new house? He threw the paper away and looked for an apartment he could afford.

Mesa looked at her brother cocking her head to the side in confusion. "Whatcha doin Toma? Why ya lookin in the adds? I thought you didn't like those..." she said still looking at him confusedly.

Tomoya didn't look up. "I don't like the ads, Mesa." He told her, not knowing how he'd break it to her that they were losing the one house they'd lived in from birth. The one with good and bad memories that could never be replaced. He decided to do it non-chalantly. "We're moving to an apartment." He informed her, still looking at the ads intently.

"Why?!" Mesa whimpered softly as she looked at Tomoya not liking the thought of leaving their home... it was all she really knew... she didn't even go to a school so she didn't have a clue on that since her mother had always home-schooled her. She pouted slightly looking down at the ground. First she looses her mommy and daddy, then Tomoya gets sick and she was scared she would loose him, now... now she was loosing the only thing she knew best and that she had left of her parents... the only thing she had left other then her brother and the money that was left to them from their parents... which was actually quite a bit...

Tomoya sighed. Sure, they had inherited a lot, but he wasn't one to blow money. He sighed again. "Because we don't have the money to keep paying for the house." He told her, putting the paper down. He picked her up and sat her in his lap. "Everything will be okay." He reassured her and kissed the top of her head. At least, he hoped so....

Mesa sniffled slightly but nodded "I don't wanna move... I like living here..." she whimpered softly though curled into her brother clinging to him just as she had almost every night when she would come and crowl into his bed after having a bad dream or hearing something that scared her.

Tomoya could tell this was killing her. And it was killing him to move as well. It sucked honestly. To many things happened, to much familiarity. He rubbed her back softly, holding her close. "I know. But it'll be okay." He was just glad he was 18 and allowed to keep her.

Mesa nodded rubbing her eyes slightly then stared blankly at the noospaper then away. She had seemed to get even more destracted then Usual resently and often would just stare off into deep space... Thinking maybe... Soon school would be starting though she had never been in a school and she wouldn't exactly fit in since her ears could pop out at any time... That wouldn't be good if it happened in class.

Tomoya had no intentions on sending Mesa to school. He'd simply pick off where his mother had left off. It was because of their nature and their supernaturalness that neither of them attended school. For it would cause much trouble, for them, if anyone during school were to see their ears or tail. People could be very cruel nowadays, and even as dark as Tomoya was, if you were family and on his good side, you wouldn't even know that he was a dark light. Except, for the fact that his eyes changed colors and he seemed to be a bit more on the cruel side that day.

Tomoya kissed Mesa's head. He'd ask though. Perhaps she wanted to go to school. "Do you want to attend school?" He asked.

Mesa looked up at Tomoya confusedly for a long few moments then her golden fox ears, that had only been out for a few minutes, pulled back and she shook her head not wanting to be anywhere near anyone like the kids that teased her down the streat. Her mother had asked her a few years ago if she wished to attend school though the answer was still no... Like she wanted to even think on leaving her brother that long.

Tomoya watched her then nodded. "Alright." To be honest, he was glad that she'd said no. He didn't want her to get teased, or be away for such a long time.

Mesa smiled slightly and leaned against Tomoya then stared at the paper again though didn't seem to actually see the words on it... truthfully she just wanted to go to her room and crawl under her bed... and not even go to sleep... just... sit there. She was rather hard to speak with right now and seemed to have pulled away from a lot of things since her parents died... it just seemed to get worse and worse and not get better at all. Of course that didn't mean she pulled away from Tomoya... actually that's the exact opposite of what happened. Instead of pulling away she seemed to cling to him a bit and it was hard for her to give him time to himself... though she managed to give him time and not truly smother him.

Tomoya had noticed her presence around him seemed to be much more than before. It wasn't a smothering presence, just there most of the time. He returned his gaze to newspaper ads. So many to read. Only a few circled.... He wondered how'd she feel about a one room apartment...
