Tomoya stayed with her awhile before kissing her head and moving away to finish all the packing before the men and the moving truck got there.

(can we time skip to where their in the moving truck and almost to the appartment... Or at the apartment?)

It was a few days later, and Tomoya was still in the process of unpacking. It would take awhile for them to ever be done packing, but they were like halfway done already.

Mesa sat curled up on the bed in her golden fox form. She was of no help to Tomoya right now so she just stayed out of his way. They didn't have enough room in the three room apartment to have both his and her beds in the room so they had to settle with having one bed... Tomoya's since they could both sleep on that one comfurtably. The room was seporated by a folding door that sepporated the bed room with the small living room then they had the bathroom and kitchen with appliances already provided.

It was what they could afford without taking that much out of the savings. And it was just them two, they didn't need a huge place. Unfortunately, Tomoya was looking for a job. He didn't want one, but he knew the extra money would be good. He was sort of glad that Mesa didn't help, but that also meant a lot of work for him. It sucked and he couldn't wait to be done with it all.

Mesa sighed and got up jumped off the bed and going over to the window. She stood on her hind legs staring outside her tail slowly moving back and forth behind her as she stared at the trees that were behind the appartments.

Tomoya walked in with a box. "Away from the window as a fox Mesa." He told her strictly. He didn't want some guy shooting at her because he thought she was a real animal. They were in apartments now and would have to be more careful about their animalness. It was one thing to have the ears and a tail, but to be a real one, that was bad.

Mesa whimpered in a pouting way though slipped down and walked back over to the bed jumping on it and curling up quietly. She stared off thinking about everything that had been going on and whimpered again her ears flattening on her head as she thought about how this all started... with her mommy and daddy dissapearing and being gone forever...

Tomoya unpacked, stopping to patt her head softly. He continued to unpack before leaving the room to unpack some stuff out there. And finally all the unpacking was done and he ordered pizza. He plopped down on the couch with a sigh. He was all sweaty and sticky.

Mesa rubbed her head against Tomoya's hand when he pet her then laid her head down. After he had finished unpacking and plopped down on the couch she came over and laid her head in his lap her ears slightly down and back as she just let her head rest there... where he wasn't all sweaty.

Tomoya sighed and pet her, before telling her he was going to shower. He stood and hurried to the bathroom and took a shower. It was nice and warm and he enjoyed every minute of it.

Mesa had grudgingly nodded and let her brother get up then waited patiently on the coach for him to come back laying in his spot. She was quiet and had been for the last few days... recoiled again like a snake from flames.

Tomoya took his shower and then changed into clothes. Just when he got out the pizza got there so he grabbed his wallet. He patted Mesa's head on the way and went to the door where he payed for the pizza and then locked the door. He walked back to the table and opened the box. No use wasting plates when it was only them two. They could eat straight out of the box, it was no big deal.

Slowly Mesa turned normal and walked into the kitchen smiling when she saw their favorite pizza. She sat down and quietly started eating though didn't seem like she would want to talk... she would if Tomoya wanted her to though...

Tomoya was downing pizza's. There was so room in his mouth to talk even if he wanted... Honestly he knew Mesa didnt eat much, and they both knew he ate like a pig, So it was all good.

After Mesa ate about two or three peaces and was finished with eating as she started staring off again... she did that often and she didn't know it but it probably bothered Tomoya that she did this... it would worry just about anyone if they knew her well enough and saw the major change in the way she had been acting over the last few months or so.

Tomoya had shoved his fifth pizza down his mouth when he noticed that Mesa was staring off. He frowned. He hated it when she did that. She had once been so full of life and now she was silent. He put the box down, which had two slices left, and wrapped his arms around her pulling her close.

Mesa looked up at Tomoya appologeticly. "I'm sorry Toma... I don't mean to stare off so much..." she whimpered softly knowing that's what was wrong and feeling bad she had kept him from finishing his food.

Tomoya nodded silently and kissed the top of her head. "Everything will get better Mesa, I promise." He mutterd\ed. He just hoped he was right and that it would get better.

Mesa nodded quietly and leaned her head against Tomoya's chest seeming to just not want to move. She actually seemed a bit tired though she hadn't said anything about it. They had had a long day and it wasn't shocking that she was tired... Tomoya was probably tired as well and all she wanted to do was curl up in his arms and go to sleep.

Tomoya let her lean against him, he had no problem with that. He managed to finish off the pizza with little movements to disturb them. Even after all he had ate he was still hungry. That was normal right? He sighed and then took his shirt off. Good thing he still had sweat pants on. He leaned back and closed his eyes, his arms lossely around Mesa. Sleeping with a shirt was just not his thing.

"Toma? Can we go lay down? I'm sleepy." Mesa asked quietly looking as though she was very tired. Recently she hadn't been sleeping too well and it normally showed. If she did get a good nights rest she would wake up in a rather good mood... Though she hadn't had a good nights sleep in quite some time and it seemed she had been all but in a good mood.

Tomoya almost shot up and ran to the room with her in his arms. But instead he slowly took her. He wanted her to sleep. Sleep was good on the moods of little girls. He knew this all too well. He layed her down on the bed and crawled in next to her.
