"I suppose so. But still. Not very practical. If Blaze needed to transform during a fight, she would have to tell her opponent ''scuse me, i'm going to walk through a wall of flames now. please wait a moment.'"
Aqua sighed. "Look at the sky-- it's tainted red and pink. It's beautiful. I've always loved sunsets."

"Thanks Alice. And you're right, Aqua. That would be pretty funny." Blaze rested her head on the boat and stared at the sky. Aqua was right. The sunset was beautiful. Her mother had always told her it was the sun god racing across the sky in a hurry to dive into the ocean for the night. His chariot left behind a stream of fire, though, and it fizzled out making the whole sky black. Blaze loved that story. Thinking about it made her even more homesick. Her eyes slowly closed and soon she was dreaming of flying across the sky in a sun god's chariot, painting the sky with orange, red, and pink.

"You're welcome Blaze. The sky is beautiful." said Alice.

Blaze woke in the middle of the night. For a moment, she forgot where she was. Startled, she looked around. Then, it came to her. Her two friends were sleeping peacefully beside her. Blaze smiled. A strange odor filled the air. Blaze looked up and was not surprised to see thick gassy fumes hanging in the air. They were close.

Alice awoke to a thump she looked and saw that they are on land and said "Oh wear on land... OMG! Wear on land we landed! AQUA! BLAZE! WE LANDED WEAR ON SWEET SWEET LAND! HAHA!" Alice said with excitement!

( Alice is a earth/rock bender so she prefers to be on land)

Aqua jumped up. "Whaaaa?" She said, not happy to have been woken up. "Land...? Oh! We made it! LAND!" She wrinkled her nose. It smelled horrible. She had remembered that it was bad, but not this bad. Aqua stepped on the beach and wobbled. She wasn't used to stable ground any more. Aquamarine took a few wavering steps before sitting down on the rich white sand. She crumbled it between her fingers. The she looked out to the ocean. It was so beautiful...

Alice jumped on the sand, laid down, and started to make sand-angel and said "ooooooooo! Solid ground I missed you!". But then she smelt something horrible, the smell of death.

Aqua noticed Alice stop with a look of horror on her face. Suddely Aqua knew why. There, by the cliff, there was a dead girl. Her beautiful golden hair was tangled and matted with blood. She had on an expensive dress and gold jewelery. She would have looked like a wealthy princess if it were not for the dagger embedded in her chest.
Aqua ran over, and pulled the dagger out carefully. It was stained a deep red.
Aqua began to chant a simple healing spell, one that heals cuts and bruises. She knew it was no good. This girl was either dead or close to it. A simple spell like that would do no good.

Alice ran over to the girl and said " Will she be ok? Tell me shell be ok!" Alice said with a sad tone of voice.

Blaze was, of course, glad to be on land. But something was wrong... very wrong. She looked around and found Aqua and Alice running towards the rocky cliffs. Then Blaze saw it. A girl was laying under the mountain, injured. Blaze ran as fast as she could over to her friends. She lightly brushed the girl's hair out of her eyes and immediately gasped. She recognized the girl. Her eyes teared up and her throat tightened. "Can I be of any help?" Blaze asked Aqua, brushing the tears out of her eyes. Her sister must be saved.

Alice looked at Blaze, Alice's eyes were full of terror. Alice started seeing flash backs of when her parents were being killed. She saw fire everywhere she heard her mother screaming and saying "Pleas don't kill Alice and Demetri! Plea!". Then Alice saw the man standing in front of her mother with a sword in his hand. The man snickered and then cut off Alice's mothers head off. Alic screamed " MOMMA!" Alice snapped out of it when she herd Blaze's question Alice replied "Y-you have to..ask Aqua".

"I um... yes of course." Blaze told herself to focus while Aqua gave her work. No matter that the world was being destroyed. Her senses were concentrated on only her duty.

Alice stared at her friend while they were healing the girl she sighed and said "I'm going to go look for something we can eat in the woods over there see you guys in a few." she waved goodbye and went off to the woods. When she was in there she found a apple tree and picked e few, when she went to pick one more apple someone puled her back, put there hand over her mouth, and put a blade to her neck. She tried to scream for help but she couldn't, the only thing she could yel was "YEEERMMMMPHCK!".

Blaze gasped. A muffled scream came from the woods nearby. Hesitantly, Blaze left her fallen sister in the care of Aqua to go see what had happened. As soon as she stepped foot in the forest, her fox instincts took over. A familiar odor was coming from behind a large apple tree. Blaze transformed herself into a fox so it wouldn't be too obvious. She wiggled around to get used to the body, then trotted to where the scent was coming from.

Alice was panicking in her head she was saying 'whats going on? why is there a blade at my neck? Are my friends ok? This guys hand smells like grass and oil, yuck!'. Alice opened her mouth and bared down on the hand that was over her mouth until she tasted blood. But the guys hand was still on her mouth instead of it flying off of her mouth the guy just smiled and said "Do you think I'm going to just tack my hand off you mouth so you can scream? I think not girl!. The man pressed the blade closer to Alice's neck and then he said "Fool, I'm not letting you go without a fight.".

Aqua looked up from the girl. She had been so intent on healing her that she had not noticed her two friends leave. Jumping up, she turned around. There was no sight of Alice. And Blaze was nowhere to be seen. Had her two friends betrayed her? Alice and Blaze would get along fine, since Blaze knew how to get around in the human world easily. And Alice knew many nessisary skills, like cooking. But what use would Aqua be to them? She couldn't do anything useful... Well, yes, she could heal. But that was it. Aqua scanned the horizon. She could not see anything. Suddenly she saw something move by a huge tree. But it was only a dog. A strange red dog with a long tail.... Aqua could not remember ever seeing a dog like this on the Island. Sighing, she hauled the injured girl carefully over her shoulders and walked back along the shore.

She walked for hours, away from the huge tree and the disturbing animal. She had to get away from all of this.

((Yes, Aqua just ran away from Blaze. All the shock of finding this injured girl and the thought of her two best friends leaving her made her not think clearly. So she didnt recognize Blaze.))

Alice yelled in pain from the hours of stabbing. Alice was in so much pain from all the stabbing, she fainted from the pain The man chuckled and said "you're weak.". The man flung Alice over his shoulder and took her some ware.

Aqua kept walking. She passed through many little villages perched near the ocean. Children gawked at her long blue hair and torn clothing. But Aqua kept walking.
Her friends had abandoned her. Why should she go back? It was their fault if one of them got hurt. They wouldn't be able to heal themselves. And then....
Aqua paused, sitting down on a rock. even if they had betrayed her.... If they died, she would never forgive herself. Alce and Blaze were her friends. USED to be her friends. But they were still her responsibility.
Aqua wondered if she should go back. The waves lapped at her toes, sending a tingling feeling up her spine. She was fine here, with the water to protect her. Aqua could stay on this shore and build a boat to go back. After all, she could easily navigate the ocean. "But... What about them?" She wondered aloud, kneeding her toes into the warm, soft sand. "How would they get back?"
Aqua got up. She raced into the water, and as she did, Aqua felt her skin stretching and changing into a dolphin. She had decided.

Alice awoke in a room her hands were tied behind her back and her feet were tied together Alice looked at her shoulder it was wrapped up in a bandage. She looked around for a moment and she saw her bag on a table across the room her stuff was spilled out. Alice herd foot steps she looked around her again she didn't see anyone. then she herd the door that was next to the table open. She saw a man withe white hair, dark brown eyes, and his clothes were camouflage. Alice looked up at the man and said "who heck are you?! Why am I in this room?! Why did you kidnap me?! Why did you stab my arm?! And why are you going threw my stuff?!" Alice said furiously. "Calm down kid. I'm not going to hurt you. I was going threw you're stuff so I could see if you were an enemy but you're just a little girl who's name is Alice, I stabbed you because I was under the impression you were the enemy, I "kidnapped" you because you're Shadow's sister so I figured he would like to see you, and you're in this room because I "kidnapped" you, and I tied you up so you wouldn't cause trouble. Is that all you're questions? If it is then I'll untie you.", Alic looked at the man in shock. Alice said "you know my brother? Is he Ok?!". The man sighed and said "yes you're brother's fine he's out but he'll be hear soon. By the way my name is Max.. Alice smiled, she was happy her brother was ok. The man untied Alice and said sorry I tied you up to tight." then Alice replied "it's okay.".

Aqua swam towards where her friends had last been. Deep inside, she knew hey would never abandon her. She let herself think about another possibility. Maybe they had gotten captured. Yes, that was it. They had both gotten captured.
Now that Aqua knew her friends hadn't betrayed her all along, it was even more important that she hurry up so she could catch the enemy.
She propelled herself forward with her long tail. For many hours, all she saw was the rolling waves of the ocean. She swam far. Then, up ahead, Aqua saw a small white square.
Excited, she went up towards it. It was a sail! Their boat! She had arrived! Aqua jumped aboard the little boat and pulled some clothes from Alice's pack. They had forgotten to unload it, so it was still tucked under the seat. Aqua dressed in a blue tube top and denim shorts. This outfit was obviously made for Alice, it was too small on Aqua.

Alice sat at the little table in the corner of the room, she had her head resting in her arms. Alice was worried about Aqua and Blaze. "I hope there okay." she said to herself. Max came into the room and said "Hey Al are you hungry?" Alice looked at max withe an angry look on her face and said "my name is Alice not "Al"! And yeah I'm hungry. If you show me to you're kitchen I guess I can cook something.". Max sighed and said "Look I'm going to call you Al Ok. Com on I'll show you to the kitchen." Alice tried not to yell at him when she said "okay you can call me Al." Alice followed Max to the kitchen and started to look for ingredients for dinner.

Aqua stumbled ashore. Her legs ached from walking for so long. She ran up to here the girl had been. There-- a trace of blood. Good. Aqua was in the right place. She had given the girl to a village nurse further on when it had become too much to carry. Aqua scrambled up the cliffs. They were small and there were many handholds-- if only Alice had been there. Alice-- that name sent a pang of pain through Aqua. Would she ever see her friend again?
As Aqua finally made it up to the top, she glanced around. No one. Not even that red dog-- Wait. A red dog? With a long bushy tail? That HAD to be Blaze! It had to be her transformation! How could Aqua have been so stupid as to forget about that?

But the fox was nowhere in sight.
"At least Blaze is somewhere safe," Muttered Aqua. But what about Alice?

"AHHHH! YOU IDIOT! I told you not to touch the food!" Alice yelled at Max withe a PO tone of voice. "Sorry! I just wanted to see how it tasted! How was I supposed to know that it would come out flat if i touched it?" Max replied. Alice growled and said "I told you not to touch it but you did! When I tell you not to touch stuff I MEAN IT!" Alice said with her face as red as the an apple. "Like I said I'm sorry! I'm so hungry.How could I not try a bite?" max said. Alice sighed and said "well were going to eat it any way it still tastes fine and it's finished being cooked. So I guess we can eat it with a sandwich." Alice looked at the dish and sighed again.
