Aqua walked towards the woods. They seemed to be whispering to her, telling her to come forward. Cautiously, she stepped into the leafy undergrowth. She took a few steps.
Then Hell broke loose. Aqua was overwhelmed with many depressing thoughts. Flashes of them. Her mother, screaming as they imprisoned her. The storm. Fear of losing Blaze and Alice. And then.... her mother's body, torn and wounded.
Aqua screamed. She started to run. There was something in this forest making her not think right. flashes continued to run through her head. Aqua ran and ran, the branches whipping her face and sending trails of blood down her face. She sprinted forward, because she knew, somewhere, the woods had to end. But they seemed endless. At last, Aqua tumbled, exhausted, on a fallen log. Then she closed her eyes.
Darkness.

Alice was thinking of Blaze and Aqua. 'hope there okay' Alice said in her head. Alice looked at max and said "soooo whats up?". Max looked at Alice like she was crazy. He sighed and said "nothing much. just trying to figure out why you're brothers tacking so long and why you're staring at me.. Alice rolled her eyes and said "I'm not trying to stare at you I'm trying to figure out why you're so ugly." Max growled and said "you're the one to talk. The only person in this room that's ugly is you.". Alice smiled and said "that's a big fat lie. I'm the one who's better looking. You should see my friend Aqua she's beauti-...." Alice's voice flattered. Alice frowned and said "Aqua...I'm coming." Alice got out of her chair and headed towards the door but Max ran in front of her and said "What are you doing?". Alice glared at Max and said "I have to go back to my friends there probably worried that I got hurt or something!". Max frowned and said " you;re not going any ware!" Max grabbed Alice's arm and dragged her to a chair and threw her in it. Alice jumped out of the chair and smacked Max across his face and said "what are you doing?". Max looked at Alice and said I'm trying to keep you from leaving. Alice glared at Max she was PO. "if you ever touch me again I'm going to kick you but!" Alice said with an angry tone of voice. Alice ran to the door and opened it. Once it was open she ran out the door as fast as she could. Alice looked behind her, she saw Max chasing after her. Alice didn't care all she cared about was finding her friends.

Blaze's first instinct was to think 'Where is she?'. Aqua was no where in sight. Then suddenly, she heard a scream and footsteps. They led into the forest. Blaze bent down and sniffed the indent in the mud where the person's foot had last been. It smelled familiar, so familiar... If only she could remember where it was from. On an impulse, Blaze followed the footsteps but they faded as she got deeper into the forest. Blaze was soon relying strictly on scent. Then she saw something else flash by her. Blaze was torn. Was she to follow the scent or the moving object? Deciding quickly, she padded quietly forwards. Her footsteps were light and quiet but they were the only sound she heard. Then-sobbing. Then it hit her. Aqua! But what was she doing away from Blaze's sister? Dawn would die! With her heart divided between pity, rage, and curiosity, Blaze carefully stalked up to the crying girl and rested her muzzle on Aqua's knee. Aqua stopped crying, looking bewildered. Then, smiling, she patted Blaze's head and buried her face in it. Wet tears soaked Blaze's head. Crying, again. 'If foxes could cry, there would be a puddle in front of me,' thought Blaze, because foxes can't talk either.

Alice kept running deeper and deeper in to the wood's. She heard a scream she panicked for second then she morphed in to her animal form, a puma. She ran even faster in puma form then when she is in human. she started to hear crying. 'That sound....crying? Wait that sounds like Aqua's cry!' thought Alice. Alice looked behind her to see if Max was still following her, he wasn't. Alice morphed back into her human form. She saw Aqua and a dog. "Aqua!" Alice yelled. Alice's eyes began to fill with tears. She was happy to see her friend. Alice ran to Aqua and said "are okay?". Alice looked at the dog that was next to Aqua then Alice realized that it was Blaze in her fox form. Alice smiled and said "Are you okay Blaze?".

Aqua awoke, sprawled across a log. All the dark thoughts from earlier were gone. Her face was fresh and.... wet? She trailed her fingers across her cheeks and found a trail of tears. Had she been crying that much?
Then Aqua turned. There was a fox. She knew that fox. Aqua would never make that mistake again.
"Blaze," She murmered, stroking the fox's fur between her fingers. "I've missed you so much!" She said, crying once more. She buried her face in the fox's silky soft fur. Blaze nuzzled Aqua's shoulder after many minutes. "wha..?" Aqua said, turning. "Alice!" She screamed, running forward and embracing her friend in a hug. "Alice!" She said again, not believing her eyes. "You're both..." She stopped, wiping down the current of tears. "You're both alive, and safe!"

Then Aqua noticed angry red marks on Alice's skin. Had she been tied up?
"Alice! You're hurt!"

Blaze was sad to see her friend so upset. She let the girl stroke her fur, although her fox instincts would never have let her do that. Then she caught a scent. Another familiar scent... it smelled a little like Aqua and... Alice! Blaze pounced on her other friend. Then, embarrassed, she turned into a human again. She noticed a few cuts on her hands and feet but that was from running through the forest in the night. Then she noticed Alice was hurt too. Blaze took her friends hand in her own.

"Alice! What happened?" She ran her fingers lightly over the red marks. Suddenly her sight clouded and Blaze let out a choked sob. "I can't believe... can't believe... Dawn... Alice... pain..." She could feel it; the world being destroyed. She could feel that part of her life being ripped out of her heart and a piercing stab like a knife at her throat. Her world, her family, her LIFE was being killed by some stupid Damned and she was sitting here crying like a little baby.
"Come on." she said suddenly, standing up. "We have work to do."

Alice was so happy to see aqua. "yes I'm safe. I'm soooooo glad you two are safe!". Alice so happy to see her friends she started to cry a little. Alice looked at her wrists and said "Oh! I didn't notice that. Don't worry about it guys." Alice herd some foot steps. "look Aqua we need to get out of hear. Theirs a guy chasing me and it's not because I'm hot it-". Alice was interrupted by another voice Max's voice. "There you are-...Uh who's that?" Max said with confused. ."None of you're bees wax! That's who it is! Com on Aqua Blaze we have to get out of hear!" Alice said.

Blaze almost panicked. Almost. But then she changed into a fox and offered to carry Aqua who looked more dead than alive. When Aqua was oddly positioned but comfortably enough, Blaze sped into a run. Because she was a little bigger than most foxes and a whole lot faster, it was less bumpy than expected from riding a fox. The man chasing them was oddly fast and Blaze, although was a very fast being, was slowed down and was breathing heavily from the load she was carrying. Not that it was a problem. She would do anything to help her friends.

Alice ran with Blaze and Aqua. Alice was getting tired. Alice looked behind Max was still chasing them Alice herd a growl, she looked to her left she saw a fox running beside her and It wasn't blaze. It was a different fox. The fox looked at Alice and then it pounced her. She fell face first in to the ground. Alice rolled on her back she was pined to the ground. The fox sniffed her and then it smiled and started to lick her face. It started to talk "whats up little sis?". Alice looked at the fox and said "you idiot. Why did you jump on my bro? Aqua Blaze it's okay it's my brother shadow!" Alice stood up and grabbed Shadow and started to run again. But Alice and her friend didn't realize that Max stopped chasing them.

"I'll be.. I'll be right back," Aqua mumbled to her friends, stumbling into the woods. "Wait for me please," she croaked. Aqua crouched next to a bush and puked. Her mouth still tasted like bile. Aqua crawled to a nearby creek and washed her face and hands. Alice stumbled back to her friends, her face still dripping. The world was starting to spin....

Blaze growled at the intruder. His matted fur smelled somewhat like Alice but that was probably because he had pummeled her a few seconds ago. Her eyes wary, she stared the creature down until Alice said he was friend. He looked foe to Blaze. She crouched down so Aqua could slide off then turned into human once more.
"Hey guys!" she cried out. "That creepy guy stopped chasing us." Blaze watched as their heads turned. She walked up a bit closer to make sure he wasn't hiding and cut her foot on a sharp rock. Her shoes were still where she'd left them-at the place where they'd found Dawn. She found tears in her eyes, but because of the thought of Dawn or of her cut foot she didn't know. Blaze ripped off a strip of cloth from her shirt and made a make-shift bandage out of it. Blaze watched as Aqua left to the creek. Her eyes saddened. It was awful to see her friend like this. All the anger and hurt and death and sickness out here was really getting to her.
Blaze sat on a log and examined her cut foot. The blood had already soaked through the cloth. She touched it and cried out in pain. She tried walking but winced and limped, grimacing. She sighed. It was no use. But maybe a fox could walk with cut feet. She built a wall of fire and walked through it hesitantly. But for the first time it burnt her ankles and bottom of her feet. The fox-Blaze could walk but she did it tentatively. But she wouldn't turn back into human until her foot was healed. And that could take a while.

Alice looked at blaze and said "are you all right Blaze?" Alice was a little worried about her friends they seemed depressed. Shadow nudged Alice and said "Hey aud whats wrong?" Alice looked at Shadow and siad "Pleas don't call mu "aud" it's annoying. Everyone seems so sad I don't know what to do...". Shadow looked at Alice like she was crazy and said "you've become a big softy since the last time I've seen you. Stop acting like a baby and go cheer up you're friends." Shadow sat down and looked at Alice.

Aqua collapsed on a log next to Blaze. Blood was dripping steadily from the fox's foot. Drip... drip...drip Even that little sound was sickening to Aqua. What ha made her like this? A while ago she could have healed anything without fear. But now...
Taking a deep breath (and unfortunately breathing in the metallic odor of blood) she grabbed another strip of her already-ripped shirt. She cautiously removed Blaze's sloppy one and wrapped it carefully around the fox's foot. It seemed Blaze had fallen asleep in fox form. A stain of blood seeped through the material right away. Aqua stared in horror at the fox. Was the wound that bad? Aqua undid her bandage and inspected the wound. It was very deep, and long, too. Blaze was loosing a lot of blood. It had to be stopped, or Blaze would die.
Aqua carefully washed out the wound and used a peice of Blaze's shirt (which was lying, abandoned, next to Blaze) and used it this time to wrap the fox's foot. If Aqua used any more of her shirt it wouldn't be a shirt anymore, and Aqua didn't feel like exposing that much of her body. She carefully wrapped the bandage, very tightly around Blaze's wound. Hopefully the tightness would slow the blood flow for a while and allow the wound to heal. Aqua tied a double knot and stood to examine her work- it would do.
A minute she was looking proudly at her home-made bandage, and the next she was bent over on the grass, convulsing and shivering with a cold that did't exsist. Sweat broke out on her forehead, and she was silently screaming in pain.

Alice heard Aqua. Alice started to Bite her nails, Alice was worried about her friend even more. "Aqua... a-are you okay? Because if you're not then I'll carry you and Sh-Shadow will carry Blaze and we can try to find some h-help!" Alice Started to cry. Alice was sad. She couldn't believe her friend''s were sick or dieing and she could do nothing but sit there and watch them suffer. 'I got to help!' Alice thought.

((good night guy's I have to go to bed))

Aqua faintly saw Alice bending over her.
"Al- Alice...." She mumbled. Her lips seemed to weigh a ton. What had made her this way? Even to think about it hurt. Her body ached all over and a sharp pain was present in her chest. The world spun.
"Stream... help.... gowest- majjic!" She said, hoping Alice would understand. "Wesht!" Her vision was starting to blur. Her voice was slurred as if she was drunk. Aqua grasped Alice's hand before falling unconsious.

"AQUA!" Alice screamed. Alice knew Aqua said something about putting Aqua in the water. Alice piked up Aqua, Alice ran to the stream and placed aqua in it. Alice was worried sick about her friend. She didn't know if Aqua would live or die. Alice knew Blaze was probably going to be okay. Just the thought of her friend dieing made Alice cry. Shadow walked over to Alice and nudged her then he said "Stop crying you're friend will be fine. There probably sick because there not used to being around dark energy. This place is full of dark energy." Alice stopped crying for a moment, she looked at her brother and hugged him. Shadow was confused "you're hugging me for comfort right?" Shadow said. Alice smiled and said "yes I'm hugging you for comfort.".

The world was still dark... But sounds were starting to creep in. Aqua heard a scream, then a thud and then.... was it-- water? Her eyes blinked open. Water! It seeped around her, swirling and running between rocks. Aqua felt something rising up inside her. It rose and soon it filled her whole body, waiting to emerge. Aqua knew if she released this, she would no longer be sick. But how...?
Aqua closed her eyes and concentrated on the beast ready to emerge. She pushed all her remaining energy and concentrated it on one thing: Releasing the monster. Suddenly her whole body felt renewed, whole again.
Surprised, Aqua sat up and ran her fingers over her face. The scar that she had gotten as a baby was gone, and in its place her face was smooth as a baby's. Her skin glowed softly and all her wounds were gone, without leaving a trace. Her hair was smooth and strong. She felt a power running through her legs as she got up and turned to Alice.

"Alice," She murmered, looking up. "What has happened to me?"

Alice was shocked when she herd Aquas voice. Alice threw her brother aside and said "Aqua...you look different. You're hair is shiny...and you're skin is glowing? I don't know what happened to you..." Alice was shocked Aqua was glowing. Shadow jump up and said "What was that for?! Why did you throw me to the side like garbage?" Alice sighed and said "I threw you aside because you are garbage." .Shadow looked a Aqua for moment then he said "kid you look different. Did you get a hair cut? I'm not garbage aud I'm moor like a bag of gold glitter but you didn't want gold you wanted blue." Alice looked at Shadow like he was crazy "glitter? No you're not glitter you're more like scum at the bottom of someones shoe." Shadow laughed and said "okay I'm scum at the bottom of someones shoe. But I'm sparkling scum at the bottom of someones shoe" .
