My character:

Name: Aomori Kisa
Age: 15, I think?
Appearance: Long blonde hair, bright blue eyes. Slim and pale skinned.
Abilities: Able to create illusions. The more complex they are, the more tiring, time consuming and difficult they are to make. Also, if someone has a big enough reiatsu, they can break through the illusion to see reality.
Personality: She keeps her head in difficult situations (very unlike Inoue). She used to be a complete cry-baby when she was little, but made a decision never ever to cry again when she started learning martial arts.


So even though this character is absolutely nothing like Inoue, she's taking her place. Any objections?

Name: Kurosaki Ichigo (the name can be used for both girls and boys after all.)
Age 15
Appearance: Long hair, roughly the same length as Yoruichi and usuallyleft lose or pulled back slightly (like the hair on my simm that I made) Still got the orange hair and brown eyes although not quite so tall.
Personality: Smartass (and proud of it!) Can think ahead although can still get angry easily. She can express her stronger emotions but prefers not to and only lets them out in private, with people she completely trusts or during a fight. She's not always scowling like Ichigo but she isn't a happy-go-lucky sort of person either.

*I would have kept the name the same, but every time I see the name Inoue Orihime, my instant reaction is "KILL KILL KILL" so I thought it would be best to change it. I can't remember what happens after Rukia goes back, and how everyone finds out... so can you start please? Sorry...*

Ichigo woke up slowly, her brain fuzzy as she tried to remember exactly what had happened before she lost conciousness. The fog slowly began to clear and she bolted upright, her hands going to the place where Kuchiki Byakuya's Zanpakuto had stabbed her. She found bandages there. She looked around her and found herself in a strange room.
"Ah, awake I see!" came an unfamiliar voice from behind her. She whirled around and saw a strange man. He had light coloured hair and was wearing a white and green striped hat. Rukia had described him to her once so she had an idea of who it was.
"Urahara Kisuke?" she asked.
He grinned at her and pulled out a fan, unfoleded it and began to wave it in front of his face.
"Oh, you've heard of me? I must be more popular than I thought."
Ichigo snorted at that. "So," she said, stretching to relieve herself of her crampt muscles. "Mind explaining exactly what's going on?"
Urahara's demenour instantly changed and he stared at her solomly.
"Kuchiki Rukia has been taken back to the Seireitei," he said gravely.

(At this point you and Chad are beginning your training with Yoruichi while Ishida is away doing his own training. We train then after a week we meet up in Urahara's underground room and go to the soul society)

*I can't remember anything about this part so I'm making it up*
"You two," said the mysterious talking cat to Kisa and Chad, "Have gained special powers due to the effect Ichigo's reiatsu has had on you."
"Ichigo's reiatsu?" asked Kisa.
"Spirit power. Ichigo is a shinigami."
"She's a shinigami?"
"Yes. She received shinigami powers from Kuchiki Rukia, who has now been brought back to Soul Society, the shinigami world, to be executed."
"Rukia-chan's being executed? Then we have to help!" said Kisa firmly. Chad nodded.
"Very well, I shall train the both of you. We have ten days."

(that's pretty much it)

Ichigo stood in the underground training room. Three days had passed and she was still at the bottom of this stupid pit. She growled as the chain encroched a little more and winced as a bolt of pain shot through her. This wasn't good. She had to fight this, she wouldn't let herself become a hollow. She couldn't. She still had too many precious people to protect.
She could feel the mask beginning to form on her face. "Fight it," she muttered. "Fight it!"
Suddenly she blacked out and found herself in a strange place. All around her were dark trees that rose up. Dappled shade played accross the ground and her body. She looked up and found a gasped at the sight of a setting sun just visible above the tree canopy.
"Beautiful is it not Kurosaki Ichigo?" came a voice from behind her. She whirled around to find an old man. He had dark hair and his eyes were shielded behind sunglasses. He wore a black tattered cloak that whipped around him in a non existant breeze. He was standing on a tree trunk and as she watched he seemed to float rather than step off of it.
"Who are you?" she asked him.
"My naem is..."
"Excuse me? Didn't catch it," Ichigo said.
"I did not expect you to," The stranger said. "I am the spirit of your Zanpakuto."
"You are? How do I unlock your Shikai then?" she asked.
"You must hear my name."
"And how do I do that?"
"I will explain but first...how are you standing on the water?"
Ichigo looked down and for the first time she noticed that instead of her feet touching the grass that surrounded the outer part of the clearing she was in she was actually standing in a small pond of water. Just as she realised this she felt herself falling into the water. She cursed the strange man as she plummeted downwards. She tried to swim back up but she couldn't. Thousands of boxes appeared around her.

(I'm a bit different from the original Ichigo so I changed things a bit. Plus I think Zangetsu would prefer this to a side ways city.)

After 10 days of tough training with Yoruichi, Kisa and Chad felt as though they were going to collapse. But at least they were confident enough with their abilities now. They saw Ishida once, by the river, but they didn't really talk much. Kisa guessed that he was doing his own training.
"So can we and Ichigo go and save Rukia-chan now?" Kisa asked Yoruichi.
"Yes, I'll take you to Urahara's basement. That's where he'll open the gate to Soul Society."

"Find me Ichigo!" she heard the old man's voice. It seemed to be coming from a long way away. "I am inside one of these boxes. Find me and unleash me!"
'How do I do that?' she wondered. It was then that she remembered something Ishida had said a while ago. Shinigami's spiritual ribons were red...She closed her eyes and pictured the spirit ribons in her mind. She reopened her eyes and saw that there was now a ribon streaming from each box. She looked around here.
'There!' she thought and swam over to the box. She couldn't hold her breath much longer. She opened the box and saw the hilt of a sword inside.
"What are you waiting for?! Pull me out!" she heard the spirit call. She did as he asked. She grasped the blade and pulled.
"Now you may hear my name!" the spirit called. "My name is..."

In the outside world Urahara watched as Ichigo reached up and struggled to pull the mask off her face.
"She's fighting it," he said softly. "But can she win?"
Ichigo gave a mightly heave and as the mask left her face she called out a name.
"Zangetsu!"

For the next seven days Urahara trained Ichigo mercilously. She increased her stamina and flghting ability by what seemed like ten fold. She remembered watching Rukia use Kido a few times and asked Tessai to show her so she also learned a few Kido to go along with her Zanpakuto attack, which she had managed to get a little control over but not enough to use it regularly.
Finally it was time. Today was the day that she would be going to Soul Society. Today was the day that she would save Rukia or die trying.

Yoruichi, Kisa and Chad went down into Urahara's basement, followed by Ishida. Kisa wasn't really sure whether to mention it or not, but Ishida's outfit was disgusting. It was horrible. He had a cape. She wasn't sure if it was a Quincy outfit, or if it was just his terrible fashion sense. Perhaps it was both.
"Ichigo!" Kisa called, waving. She hadn't seen her friend for the 10 days they'd been training.

Ichigo stared as Kisa, a black cat and Chad entered the room. She openly gaped as Ishida followed. She was currently finishing training with Tessai, perfecting her Kido.
"What are you guys doing here?" she asked.

"We're going with you, Ichigo!" said Kisa. "Myself, Yasutora-kun and Ishida-kun are going with you to save Rukia-chan!"
Ishida and Chad both nodded and Kisa once again inwardly cringed at Ishida's outfit.

"You sure about this guys?" Ichigo asked. SHe welcomed their help but she wanted to make sure that they knew what they were in for. f"This isn't gunna be easy and we're probably gunna have to be prepared to kill or be killed. Can you guys handle that?"

"Don't worry, we're prepared, Kurosaki," said Ishida, pushing his glasses up his nose.
"Let's go!" said Kisa. "Right, Urahara-san?"

"Right Kisa-chan!" Urahara sahdi brightly. "Now, when I open the gate don't take too long. If you're in there too long then the door will shut and you'll never get out. Watch out for each other."
"Got it," Ichigo said. "We're ready, open it."
Urahara nodded. "Good luck."
He opened the gate.

Kisa, Chad, Ishida, Ichigo and Yoruichi went into the gate. It was almost pitch black inside, and started to give Kisa shivers, but she kept running with the rest of them. She didn't really get to know Rukia that well, but she was determined to save her. She would definitely not let her be executed.

A glow caught their attention from behind and Ichigo twisted her head just enough to see what it was.
"Shit!" she cursed. "What's that?"
"That's the cleaner!" Yoruichi yelled back, her feline feet making her move slightly faster than the others. "Don't let it touch you or you'll be swollowed whole! Don't reliease any spiritual pressure. It's drawn to that!"
"So what do we do?" Ichigo demanded hotly.
"Keep running!"
As they ran through the tunnel they could feel the cleaner getting closer and closer. Ishida's ridiculous cape got caught adn Chad had to stop to free him before the cleaner caught him. Ichigo was half tempted to tell Chad to leave the annoying quincy there but thought better of it and just kept running.
"How much further?!" she asked Yoruichi.
"Not long now!" the black cat replied. "Just don't lose concentration and whatever you do don't stop!"
They ran and ran. The light up ahead getting brighter and brighter.
"We're gunna make it," Ichigo gasped breathlessly. "Come on, just a little faster..."
The cleaner was gaining on them but the light was brightening. Suddenloy the light enveloped them.
They had reached the Soul Society.

(There's no Inoue to cause a big explosion by using her Shun Shun Rikka so they weren't blown through the gate like in the original)

Kisa looked aorund. They were in what looked like a large, old, japanese village. There were people everywhere, and houses, and she could see Seireitei - or at least what she thought was Seireitei. From what she'd heard of it, it fit the description.
People were staring at them. She started to feel quite out of place.

Ichigo looked around at the old fashioned looking town like place with the people dressed in old fashioned clothes. They must all look out of place.
It was then taht she noticed the other buildings taht looked so different. THey wee white and seemed to be kept in better condition than the buildings around them.
"I bet that's where the Shinigami are," she muttered. "I say we go taht way."

*I can't really remember this bit either...*

"OK," said Kisa, but as they moved towards what seemed to be Seireitei, a huge white wall formed around it. It was huge, and there seemed to be only one gate.
"I don't suppose it's possible to climb over that..." she said.

"I don't think so," Ichigo muttered, staring hard at the gate. "And somehow I don't think that they'd just leave the gate wide open, or unguarded."
Just as she said that a loud 'boom!' was heard. They looked around and the group was confronted with a giant of a men. He was absolutely huge.
"Halt!" he called. "Who goes there! I am Jidonbo! Gardian of this gate! Any who wish to enter the Seireitei must first get past me."

(During this bit Ichigo fights Jidonbo, he wins, Jidonbo opens the gate, Gin appears, Gin stabbs Jidonbo's arm (in the manga he cuts it off), the gate falls, everyone goes to see Kukaku to use the flower crane cannon to pierce the barrier of sekiseki particles and enters the seireitei and are seperated.)

*When do they meet Ganju then? Btw since Ishida fancies Inoue does that mean he fancies me?*

Kisa gulped. "That guy is huge... we've gotta get past him?"
"I'll handle this, Aomori-san, don't you worry," said Ishida, obviously trying to look cool.

(.....I pity you....And they first meet Ganju at night with his pigs but then they see him again when Kukaku tells them taht she's gunna send an overseer to make sure that they don't screw everything up. Then he and Ganju get into a fight and Kukaku knocks them both to the ground and then they go to the flower crane cannon before starting training to use the Reishukaku things so they can make the cannon ball)

"Don't even think about it," Ichigo muttered to the quincy. "This guy's way outta your league."
"And I supose you think you can beat him Kurosaki," sneered Ishida.
"You bet I can," Ichigo retorted. "Now stay back."
She walked forward and faced Jidonbo, reaching a hand up to grasp the hilt of the still unsealed Zangetsu on her back. The white bandages unwrapped and wound themselves around her arm of their own accord. "Alright," she told the giant man. "Let's do this."

*Yeah... but at least it means he's my slave and will do anything I say. That part's not so bad ^^*

"Be careful, Ichigo!" called Kisa. "We've got your back in case you get into any trouble!"

(True...can you make him throw himself off a cliff?)

"Thanks," Ichigo called back. She turned back to face Jidonbo. "Ready when you are."
Jidonbow pulled out a massive axe from inside his Shihakusho and the fight was on. Ichigo could hear the others gasp behind her as she blocked the blows with Zangetsu.
'Now Ichigo,' she heard the old man's voice echoing in her mind. 'Now is the time to strike.'
'Got it old man,' she thought back. Jidonbo had begun to tire. He'd been swinging his axes so much taht he'd worn himself out. Ichigo took the chance and jumped into the air, lifting Zangetsu over her head she brought the large blade down hard on the handles of the aces. They snapped like twigs.
Jidonbo had lost.
"Now," she said, staring up at him. "Open the gate."
Jidonbo nodded and lifted up the large gate of Sekiseki.
What none of them were expecting was to see someone standing on the other side of the gate. He had silver hair and was wearing the traditional Shinigami Shihakusho along with the haori of a captain although they couldn't see the number. He was grinning at them and they couldn't see his eyes. They were meer slits.

"A captain?!" exclaimed Yoruichi. Clearly, the cat had not expected this.
Kisa looked at the captain. His smile sent shivers down her spine. She could feel his power, his huge reiatsu.
"Ichigo, get away!" she shouted. Even Jidanbo looked terrified of him. She sensed danger. "Ichigo!" Sh ran forward to get her friend to coem back.
"Aomori-san, stay back!" called Ishida, but she ignored him.
