Juroh was awoken from his slumber when he heard the door to Logan's door bang shut. Rolling over with a groan he looked at the nearby digital clock. The clock read 2:20a.m. Why was he awake? He could have slept the night through. Deciding that he wanted something to eat, seeing as how he hadn't eaten anything other than the pancakes earlier, he got out of bed as he went towards the kitchen area. He noticed that the T.V. was on. Someone was flipping through the channels. Before he knew what he was saying he said," Do you mind if I join you after I am done in here." Waiting for a response he busily began making himself a sandwich. Without his healing powers to constantly regenerate him, he had to rely on other ways to get energy, and that equated to eating.

Lilly glanced behind her to look at the man. She knew who it was by the smell of blood but wanted to make sure he was ok. "Sure," she replied and looked back at the tv. She stopped on "Ninja Warriors" and turned the volume down way low, it's not like they needed to hear it anyway. So finished off her bottle of water and pulled her feet up on the couch, hugging her legs. Her chin rested on her knees as she read the subtitles at the bottom of the screen.

After making his sandwich Juroh came and sat down next to Lilly. He began to eat his sandwich as Lilly finally decided on a channel. Apparently she had wanted to watch something called "Ninja Warrior." It was a rather comical show, in Juroh's eyes, and apparently all of the trials were very difficult and tests of strength. Juroh chuckled and said quietly under his breath," I would totally be able to do that with no problems at all." Juroh took another bite of his sandwich, and continued to watch the rest of the show. Apparently there was a marathon going on into the wee hours of the morning so Juroh watched more another episode as he finished his sandwich.

Lying in her bed Ida's whole body would start to ache all over. Tossing and turning her in her bed till she cant sleep any longer. From all her pain she finally gets the energy and pulls herself out of bed. She walks into her bathroom and had a sudden rush of pain again. Falling to her knees she feels like shes gonna hurl. Trying to make her way to the tolet she hurls but what comes out was nothing but blood. In shock of what she was threwing up she passes out in the blood and unable to move all.

Juroh had apparently fallen asleep part way through one of the episodes because he woke up with a start. Glancing around he could see that the T.V. was still on, and that Lilly was still watching it intently. Getting up, off of he couch, he walked to his room which was on the other side of the building. Opening the door, he fell onto his bed in a deep slumber, letting his dreams take over his conciousness.

Logan woke feeling like he had been run over by a truck. The paws that pressed into his back hardly made the feeling any better. "Get off." he grumbled at the dog through his pillow. The dog complied, and he slid out of bed and got dressed. Last night he had worked out till physical exaustion would overcome any visions that might be waiting for him when his eyes closed. The unfortunate side effect was being sore, but at least he had slept well. He desided to put up the next spell later today, but first came Kip's morning run and getting to know the town's layout. Perhaps he'd also call up some help for his trial.

The sound of birds chearping and a light shining into the bathroom finally awoke Ida from her slumber. Forgeting almost of all that happened that and feeling noting but pain still. Trying to get up she relises all the on the floor and all over herself. Shaking and being light head she gets up and struggles getting a towl out from a drow under the sink."But i, all this blood, how, whats wrong with me." She thinks to herself as she trys to clean up the blood off of her face and everywere else.

The is out and shining bright threw the curtains into idas room. Squenting her eyes she pulls the currtains close and heads over to her dresser. Bored of the silence in the room and a craving to listen to music she pulls out her lil radio. So as she cleans herself and gets herself ready for the day she listens to the raido. After a few songs a radio annocment comes on and tells about a festivel that was goin to come in that area that night and that it was the last night to.

Waking up the next morning Juroh stretched as he took off his shirt so he could let his wings out. After getting attacked a few days ago he hadn't inspected his wings for any breaks or tears. Finding none, he put his shirt back on and left to go and see if anyone was in the kitchen area. He wanted to bake, and baking for a lot of people made him very happy.

As Ida slips into her sneakers she starts to smell something that was mouth watering. throwing herself backwards onto her bed she streches and lets out a sigh. Again the smell gets stronger and her stomach starts to growl. "well i havent ate at all yet and i just cant help it i gotta see whos cooking maybe its logan. hmm thoose pancakes were tasty." she giggles to herself and gets up and out of her room. As she heads to the kitchen to see whos cooking she sees Juroh cooking. As she peeking around the corner she wonders what he making and if she can have a bite."hhmm i wander if i should eat now or just wait till im downtown again. I mean he does seem a bit busy i dont wanna get in his way i dont really know him that well yet."turning her back against the wall and feeling her stomach grumble again. "No I dont know, i think ill just go to that sandwitch shop down town n get some coffee before that anteack shop opens up again."As she slowly and quitly sneaks pass the door way of the kitchen her cell phone goes off. The ring tone startles Ida and being as clumsy as she is she trips and falls into the kitchen. "omg how embarrising."ida thinks to herself and trys to laugh it off as she is sitting on the floor in front of the enterence. Then once again but loud her stomach lets out one big growl.

Juroh got out the necessary ingredients to make homemade banana bread. He began getting the ingredients together when he head a chiming that sounded like it had come from a cellphone or other small device. There was a clatter and then a girl, Ida if Juroh remembered correctly, came flying quite literally into the enterance to the kitchen. Juroh stiffled a laugh when she looked at him sheepishly from the ground as she said," omg how embarrising." Juroh walked over to her, and held his hand out so she could grasp it. He then heard her stomach growl loudly, and then he bursed out laughing. Wiping a tear out of his eye after the giggles subsided he looked at her and said," I guess you're hungry. I am making some banana bread. Do you want some?"

"Would I. It smells amazing of coarse i mean u dont mind do you." As Ida gets up by taken his hand. While getting up though she look at Juroh and remembered what he was like when she first meet him. A quite shy boy that really kept to himself but now there is something different about him. He seems more open and friendlier and on top of that his smile was a bit warming. After all that time being in the same place she still barely even knows any of her roomates. Ida smiles with that thought in her mind of how Juroh is a bit more open. Then a random Idea came across her mind the festivel was that night. It may be last minute but she thought it be great to try to create a roomie hang out time if everyone was free that night. Maybe she will then try to get to know them all lil more then just as her roomates and some good laughs. Ida walks over the kitchen cabinets and hops onto it after getting a piece of banana bread from Juroh, sitn there swinging her legs she takes a bit from the bread. "HMMM its so good. Were did you learn to cook, I mean not that you dont know how i mean haha yea this is great bread." muchen on the rest of bread with a huge smile on her face and her cheaks red for how scattered her coment was. Then asks Juroh. "So what have you been up to lately. I mean how do you like living in a appartment with 3 other completely different strangers?'

Juroh was glad when he heard Ida say,"Would I. It smells amazing of course I mean you dont mind do you?" Juroh shook his head as he cut more of the banana bread. He was glad that people were willing to eat the food that he cooked. He felt needed, and wanted when he cooked. Juroh looked at Ida with bated breath as she took a huge bite and exclaimed, " HMMM its so good. Were did you learn to cook, I mean not that you dont know how. I mean. -haha- Ya, this is great bread." Juroh blushed when Ida said this. He had learned how to cook and bake from his mother.
When she was working 4 jobs just to put food on the table, he figured that it was the least that he could do. He said in response," I am self taught. From books obviously. My mother did a lot of working, so I decided to teach myself how to cook. It was the least that I could do." Grabbing a slice of bread himself as he sat down in one of the nearby chairs. He chewed thoughfully as he decided on the taste of the bread. "Could use some more nutmeg," thought Juroh. He was knocked out of his mental musing when he head Ida say," So what have you been up to lately. I mean how do you like living in a appartment with 3 other completely different strangers?" Juroh thought for a moment before he answered," Well, I can't really complain. It took a little while to adjust, but now that I am settled in everything is fine." Of course, this was a complete lie, he couldn't exactly tell her that his father's demon of a mistress came attacking him, etc. So he sufficed for a lie. "By the way, school is starting up soon, is there anything that you personally want to do before we get swamped with books and more homework?" |
