College is just about to begin and 4 people were placed in one house as roommates. this is to better their education and get to know others in different fields of expertise.

the house is a one floor building with the bedrooms on opposite ends of each other. two rooms are for guys and two for girls. each room has it's own full bathroom. the gathering room is in the middle of the bedrooms with an open kitchen behind it.

Each character has their own secret. (and they can't have the same one ex: two of them cannot be vampires.)

My story? Well :: I was born with less than wonderful eyesight which slowly degraded till I was 10 when I became compleatly blind. Since then My black lab Kip has been my eyes, and through a bit of magic I mean that litteraly. My only issue with this is that means I'm color blind. My mother died in child birth and no one knew who my father was so I grew up with my misserable, cranky, old grandmother who taught me the magic I knows now.

Lilly unlocked the door to the small home. Huh, first one here... she thought to herself. she walked in turning on some lights and smelling the musty air. "yuck. it smells in here," she set her bags down and opened each window in the gathering room. Once that was done, she looked at the doors to each of the rooms. they all had numbers on them. Finding room 4, Lilly walked to the door and unlocked that, walking in and setting her things down on the bed.

Cursing to himself Juroh drove his car up the driveway. "How could he have missed this place twice?" thought Juroh to himself. Pulling further up the driveway he noticed that there was already another vehicle there which made him the second one to arrive. Parking his car behind the other vehicle, he turned off his car, and popped the trunk open as he took in a few bags. He remembered the renter saying that he was staying in room number "2". Walking through the front door he entered the common room which he assumed that he would be sharing with the other tennants. Juroh noticed that another one of the doors was open to one of the other private rooms. He made a mental note to go and introduce himself after he was completely moved in. Hopefully, the other person would give him the same courtesy. He was in a rather foul mood from driving over 3 hours to get to his destination.

Opening the door to his room he breathed a sigh of relief. The room looked ordinary enough. The only thing that he noticed was wrong off the bat was that there was a musty smell. That would soon dissapate in time. Dropping the bags on the ground in one of the corners of the room he opened the window to let in some fresh air.

Lilly heard a car pulling up the driveway and took a deep breath. First time i'm going to be in the same house with someone since the 1900's.... she thought to herself and then walked out of her room. the thought of unpacking her entire room at the moment was uninteresting.
Lilly walked into the gathering room and saw that the door to room 2 was open. she smelled the air a bit and even though it was very hard to smell above the mustiness, she could smell a male. She sighed, the fact that this person was a male was obvious. Lilly walked over to the open door, looking in, she knocked on it. "Hello."

Staring out the window he heard a knock and the word," Hello." Closing his eyes he gritted his teeth trying to calm his nerves. "Steady, Juroh," he thought to himself. "If he was going to live here then he might as well pretend that he was going to be happy." Turning around he acknowledged the girl by saying," Hello, my name is Juroh. When did you arrive?"

Lilly smiled at him. "My name is Lilly. I was the first one here. I'm in room 4." She looked around the room, smelling the air but not making it noticable. She could smell the shampoo and body soap he used, the colone and then a hint of sweat.
"so, um.... this your first year?"

Juroh nodded to himself. "Playing nice with the others wasn't so bad," he thought to himself. He was snapped out of his musing when he heard the girl say,"My name is Lilly. I was the first one here. I'm in room 4." He looked at her straight in the eyes and nodded again. Lilly didn't look like the person to nose into his problems, so he decided that he would be a little more open when she asked," so, um.... this your first year?" "Actually, yes it is. I transferred here from the west coast when my father got re-married," he lied. " So now I live with my mother, who actually doesn't live to far from here. She said that this was a good neighborhood, and that I would make lots of friends."

Logans approach to the building was rather silent. He had his grandmother's butler drop him off half a block away with his bike, loaded down with his stuff and Kip at his side on a normal leash. Legally speaking he wasn’t allowed to drive so the bike would be his mode of choice or, if it was raining, a bus.

Chaining the bike up outside and grabbing his backpack and suitcase he gave the building a once over through Kips eyes. “Not to bad huh boy?” he murmured to the black lab. Kip looked at him and he used the chance to slip on a pair of glasses. The lenses were thick enough that he’d be able to get away without giving people direct eye contact, but not as suspicious as always wearing sunglasses. He was more than capable of taking care of himself, but when people realized he was blind before he could prove himself… well he found their carefulness annoying. So he’d keep the charade until they got to know him.

Entering the front door he heard some light chatter and nudged Kip who easily complied with his friend’s curiosity to see who it was. “Not bad” he mused to himself eyeing the young lady through Kips vision. He looked over the younger boy, or what he could see of him from Kip’s viewpoint. There was no point in intereupting their conversation just to say hello and then run off, so figuring he’d get a better view of the other roommate later he decided to drop his stuff off in his own room “Which room do I have again?” Logan dangled the room key in front of Kip, “ahh, room one.” Opening the door he was surprised by the musky scent that hit him and then realizing why the living-rooms’ windows were open he set about opening his own windows.

Lilly smiled nodding her head. "well, nice to meet you. I usually don't like bothering people and i hate it when people bother me..... so i'll leave you alone. if you need anything, slip a note or something under my door. if i can help, i'll try." She looked to see the man and dog walk to their room. she had heard them tieing something up outside and walk in. but seeing that those things were somewhat impossible to hear for i human, she didn't say anything.
Lilly grit her teeth, walking over to the other person's door. She hated dogs only because they were afraid of her. Dogs do have a very good sixth sence, and they tend to start causing a seen whenever she gets near. She tapped the door lightly, praying that the dog wouldn't start freaking out on her.

Lilly and Juroh had a nice friendly chat, since that is what friends did, right? Lilly then said,"well, nice to meet you. I usually don't like bothering people and i hate it when people bother me..... so i'll leave you alone. if you need anything, slip a note or something under my door. if i can help, i'll try." Nodding his head Juroh said,"Thanks again. I have some stuff to carry in, but I think I can handle it. Thanks though." Walking back out towards his car he noticed there was another door that was open. It was the door to room number "1". He saw that Lilly was already by the door in the hallway knocking on it. Oh wonders, of wonders. Juroh would never understand her, and he hoped that none of the others would ever get close enough to competely understand him. For if that happened, then people would be afraid of him. He sighed to himself as he went and got more boxes from his car. After the "incident" his own mother wouldn't look at or speak to him for a few months, so what would these people think of him if it happened again?

Logan, not having the ability to see with his own eyes, hadn't noticed his companions stiffness when the dog had set eyes on the young lady. He noticed Kips nervousness now though when there was a light tap on the door. Kip leaned against his leg nervous about their visitor but being too well trained to do much more. It was however enough to set Logan on edge slightly. Tapping back into Kip's vision he left the dog on the bed that he had just made and watched himself walk to the door and open it with a charming smile. It was the pretty young lady. He suddenly wished Kip would give him a better look at her. "Hello, I suppose you're one of my new roommates?" He was sure he knew she was, but on the off chance she was just helping someone move in he figured he'd make sure. "My name's Logan."

"yes, i'm Lilly. in room 4," she answered, glancing at the dog. She looked back at Logan a little confussed. "why are you wearing sunglasses inside? Or are they not sunglasses?" she asked, noticing that they were a little darker than a normal pair would be.

Walking out of the room and back to his car Juroh took out the last box. Forgetting that this was the heaviest box that he had he accidently dropped it, and in doing so the box made a sickening crunch as it hit the ground. Cursing to himself Juroh opened the contents of the box. "Thank god for bubble wrap," he thought. Some of the stuff on the bottom was a little cracked, but it was nothing that would be too noticable, or that wouldn't be easily replaced. Closing the box again, he took out the last item that would go into his room, a medium sized flat-screen T.V. Being a loner most of his life, he tended to not have a lot of friends. He instead entertained himself with various electronic devices. In the box he also had a Wii and a PS2 with a multitude of games. Thankfully those were unharmed. He closed the trunk, locked his doors to his car, and carried the remaining box to his room where he placed it on the ground. He fell onto his sheetless bed, and fell into a fitful sleep.

He didn't know what he was dreaming about, or how long he was out, all he knew was that when he opened his eyes a scream had ripped itself out of his body.

First thing that gets noticed was his eyes despite his efforts. It was an easy enough bullet to be dodged though. “They’re tinted, my vision is well… rather horrible.” He explained, it was not a lie after all, being blind does mean your vision is bad. He just didn’t want her or anyone else fussing over him as if he didn’t spend over half his life being blind. He’d let them know when he got more comfortable with them. “…and man, I wouldn’t mind getting comfortable with her a slightly letchorous smirk graced his features as he thought that but he removed it quickly. No sence in scarring people, he was just glad that Kip,who was now standing beside him, had desided to give him a closer look. “ Oh, and this here is Kip. He’s well trained, you won’t have to worry about him making a mess… hogging the couch maybe, but he’s a good boy.” Logan would have said more but the scream from room two made him stop. “That didn’t sound good… let’s make sure he’s okay. Kip glanced at him and then led the way to the room. The dog made sure to skirt around Lily while he moved. Logan knocked on the door, he half wanted to bardge in though. That kind of scream unnerved him, but if it was just a nightmare he didn’t want to interupt the privacy of his roommate.

Its been nothing but a long and crazy day in Ida's world so far. The plan she had for moving was to get up early, catch a bus and then take a taxi rest of the way which was only a few miles away from the appartment. But once again things didnt go according to plan. She fell asleep on the bus and then woke up thinking she had missed her stop. She ran up to the bus driver asking to stop without thinking and then ends up getting off a stop earlier then she was suppose to. When she finally noticed this was when the bus was already almost out of sight. Upset she let out a sigh and sat down on the edge of the side walk trying to calm herself down. She was now about 3 miles away from the appartment. Bummed out Ida rummaged around in her one bag to pull out her cell and wallet and luckly for her she had forgotten to charge her cell phone before she left. So now she was in a town with no payphones in sight. Now she had to walk with a huge army backpack on her back and a big messager bag on her side and with 2 large suit cases on each side of her dragging them along. She looks up over the rim of her sunglasses with her headphones in her ears listening to her music blasting trying to ignore the fact of how tired she was. In front of the appartment with two vehicles parked in the front at that moment the first thing that comes to mind was how she wished she had her liecence and a car of her own and how much easier of a trip it all could had been. Letting out a sigh she tells herself "just a lil further and i can just pass out in my own bed". Approaching the door she opens it. Just as the door opens, she right away hears a scream that sends chills down her spin and an over welming feeling kicks in and she finds herself wide awake now and without thinking drops her bags and runs into the appartment almost falling but catching herself. With her eyes starting to burn and tear a little, she approaches room number 2.

Juroh looked around the room frantically trying to find something that he remembered. He was in an unfamiliar room. He calmed down a little as he took large gulps of air into his oxygen deprived lungs. He didn't know what he had been dreaming about, but what little he could remember from the dream was that there was a women's scream and then agonizing pain. Juroh tried to get up on shaky legs only to regret it as one of his legs almost gave out.

Looking down at his right forearm he noticed that there were 3 medium sized scratches on them that were bleeding slightly. The nightmares were getting worse, as well as, more frequent. They were also starting to physically manifest themselves in the real world. Sighing to himself, he tried getting up a second time only to really have his leg give out on him. Falling into the dresser chest first was never a good thing, and it hurt like hell.

When Logan didn't hear a responce he knocked again, "Hey, are you okay in there? I'm comming in." Opening the door slowly he saw the other room mate on the floor, but what struck him was the fading demonic aura that the charm on his ring was picking up. Was a demon stalking his new roommate? Just what he needed, a demon causing trouble nearby. He sent Kip over to descreatly look Juroh over and distract him, and hopeing that Lily wouldn't come up behind him and notice he used his ring to try to pinpoint were the demon went. Though he couldn't see it he knew his usually onyx stone was sifting through various colors. No such luck, there didn't seem to be a trail to pick up, strange. He'd have to worry about it later. "Hey are you okay there?" He repeated to Juroh again, from what he could tell he looked a little winded but what concerned him was the scratches he could see from Kip's angle.

Lilly heard the scream and shivers ran down her spine, not from the scarring chill of it like normal though. She shivered from excitement of memories. She loved hunting the weak and she loved "playing" with them as well. The girl snapped out of her thoughts and just stood in the gathering room, pretending to be worried when another girl came rushing in.

With her heart begaining to pick up speed Ida stands in the living room. Confused and without thought she looks over to her left and smells an odd sickly sweet smell comeing from room 2. To top it off the vibe of the whole place was starting to make her stomach sink. She opens her mouth as she looks at the girl in standing in the living room but yet nothing comes out. Instead she slowly approaches room 2 and standing in the room is a young male with long hair leaning over a boy with bleeding cuts on his arm. A moment of being frozen in place she finally comes back down to earth. The first thought to come across her mind was to stop the bleeding. As she was looking down her thoughts continue to try to figure out what to use. Slowly, her eyes wander from the boys cuts, to the back of the young man. Then she notices a white cloth in his back pocket that would be perfect to use to stop the bleeding. Waiting only a couple more seconds to see what young man was going to do, but growing impatiant she shoves her way towads the boy, grabbing the fabric in the young man's pocket. Siting herself on the ground next the boy, takes his wrist and without asking she light dabs the fabric onto his wounds. Trying to ask in a calm but worried voice; "Im sorry umm, its nice to meet you I'm Ida. Heh wow look at this mess. Im sorry for just barging in like this. but wow your room looks really cozy." Keeping a soft smile on her face she looks over at to the dog. Right away in her mind she thinks "Wait he has a dog."After whipping away all the blood she trys to change the vibe in the room by changing the situation into something random fun or funny manner. She moves herself towards the dog "Aw this your dog." While petting the dog her sunglasses fall of, forgetting that they were even still on. Catching them she looks at them and notices that her reflection seems a bit of. Getting a better look she noticed somthing very strange about her eyes they appear white. Quickly she places her sunglasses back onto face as of if it was notthing with her back faceing the guys.

Looking up he noticed that there was a guy and a dog standing in front of him. He backed himself further away from him. He heard him say," Hey are you okay there?"Juroh mumbled," yes" as he tried to cover up his right arm with his left hand. Before he could say anything else a girl came running into his room, took a white cloth from the other boys back pocket, and said,"Im sorry umm, its nice to meet you I'm Ida. Heh wow look at this mess. Im sorry for just barging in like this. but wow your room looks really cozy."He felt her take his wrist in her hand as she began to clean his wounds. Juroh tried to wrench his arm from her hands, but decided that it would raise more questions if he had done that.

Getting up from his sitting position he pushed passed Ida and Logan heading out of his room. Stopping himself he turned around and returned to the door. Looking straight at Ida he said," Thanks for tending to me."He left quickly through the main enterance to the house, and he went to the awaiting street. He knew that it was cowardly, especially for someone of his bloodline, but what was there to do. He was bound to get more questions asked when he returned, but he would deal with that when he returned. Besides, hopefully they wouldn't be the asking type especially after his outburst.

Logan half freaked out when the newest arrival grabbed the cloth from his back pocket. He calmed down once Kip caught sight of her and he realized he hadn't needed to worry. She was meerly conserned about the blood. Logan was distracted from Jurohs departure however by the oddly pale eyes he had glimpsed through Kip's sight. It's not like he was one to talk, but he doubted she was blind as well. Shrugging it off he turns his attention back to the matter at hand,"Well... that was odd. Kip's mine by the way. We... should probably get out of his room too." He edged back holding the door open for Ida so that he could close it after her. It was then that he noticed his ring was no longer picking up any demonic signals,"...odd..."

"oh uh your wel..come" in a quiet voice as she watches the boy leave the room. Still feels bad for him but knowing asking and following him may not be such a good idea so she lets it go. She looks back over at the adorable dog and starts to Kip's head. Thinking and reviewing all that had went on this entired day so far. "To kind of think about it i never even caught his name" she thinks to herself lost in thought. Kind of forgeting about the young man in the room. She then hears him call out to her telling her that the dog belongs to him and that it be best to leave the room since it wasnt theres. She smiles for how silly she felt as she got up off of her knees. "Oh I'm sorry, so this is your dog hes so cute whats his name." As she said with a nervious smile. She then walks over to him thinking to herself "I hope that boy is ok but i dont understand that feeling around everyone it was so over whelming. Not only just that but its happing again my eyes."she continues lost in thought as she pass the young man holding the door open. By mistake she wipes the blood onto her white corset top as she walks out into the living room.

Lilly clinched her teeth, seeing the blood on the new girl's shirt. She had held her breath as much as she could until Juroh left. Her eyes seemed to turn a faint tint of red and she looked back at her room, seeing a bag on the floor. "uh, i have some unpacking to do. If you guys need anything, slip a note under my door," she walked into her room and shut and locked her door behind her. Her body was tense from controlling herself.

((This is going to be a really long one, even with edits, so sorry for the length))

Juroh really didn't know where he was when he stopped running. He had run for a good 20 minutes, and still wasn't tired. He knew perfectly well too. Juroh wasn't the fittest person at all, but he had the aid of demonic blood running through his veins. Sitting on a nearby bench, apparently he was in some form of a park. He was musing about his mother and father, and fell asleep on the bench as it began to rain lightly as there was a gentle rumble of thunder.

-Dream Sequence/Flashback-
It was around the time of Juroh's 13th birthday. It was the day that according to his mother was the day that he would begin manifesting his powers. Juroh really didn't understand what that meant, since he had never been told about his odd birth. His mother sat him down, and said," Honey, this is a day for celebration, but also a day for grief." Juroh looked at her and sputtered," But, Mom, it's my birthday. There's nothing to be sad about I'm a teenager. I know about 'The Talk.'" His mother breathed a little and then continued," I am afraid there's much more to it than you know. It's about your father."

Talking about his father was always a sore subject in general seeing as how he had "abandoned" the family when he was younger. The truth was that he had abandoned the family the very night he had impregnated his mother. She continued on," How should I put this. It's very hard for me to say this, but your father wasn't human. He was a demon. Which makes you a half demon because I am human." Juroh was stunned and shocked, but managed to squeak out," So you mean I am not completely human?!"

-End Dream Sequence/Flashback-

Juroh woke up lying at an odd angle on the wooden bench. His jacket was soaked through as was his shirt, and his jeans were damp as well. Juroh re-called this dream in particularly because it too was a frequent dream that he had had. "Learning that he was half-demon was probably the worst thing that could have happened to him that day," he thought as he chuckled darkly to himself. He never remembered how the dream had ended, however, he assumed it didn't happen with the eating of icecream cake and the slaying of a brightly colored pinata. Getting up off the bench, his shoes made a sloshing/squishy sound, he walked back to the house that he was staying at. Hopefully people were gone or asleep. He assumed that he looked pretty worse for wear.

Lilly had been in her room the entire afternoon. It only took her 20 minutes to put all her things away where they belonged and the rest of the time, she was reading trying to get her mind off of the fact that she was hungry. Now that it was night time she would be able to go hunting if she wanted to get wet that is.
She sighed and looked out the window, remembering that she also had a bike to go get that was hidden a few miles away from here.
