"Well, won't you do anything but glare at me?" he asked kind of annoyedly. "If you hate me because you think that I killed your brother, then fine, I'll take that hatred, even if I didn't do it."

"I never said you were the one who killed him. But that doesn't matter. I hate all demons. The only thing they do is kill." she said.

"Not true, I know demons who don't kill, who don't like to kill, I'm one of the ones who doesn't like to but I will if necasary." he said. He hated conflict, ironically enough he joined the army and hated conflict.

"Then why did you join the army?" she asked, confused.

"Myfather wanted me to, and I wanted to find a way to end the war, it's obviuous you don't believe that there is a way to, but I do, and I will find it." he said not wanting to give her a reason to kill him.

"Good luck with that. It's impossible. The fighting is never going to end." she said.

"It will, and I do it so that entire families don't get sucked into the fighting, hatred of demons among angels, hatred of angels among demons, my father never hated any race, neither do I, I just want the hatred to end" he said as he called his sword over to him, then he had it move interdimensionally, from his nand to his tent inside the barrier. "I'm not here to fight, now, if your going to take me to your commander for torture and information, go a head, but I won't give information to anyone who I feel will you use it for violence."

Thea remained silent, thinking about what he said. Then she lowered her weapon. "You can leave." she told him.

"Just like that?" he asked. "Didn't you have hostile intents, come on this is war after all, what happened?" he felt strange, he felt that something was different about this Angel.

"Just go before I change my mind!" she exclaimed. She turned and stormed off. Though she didn't go far.

He walked back throught the way he came in, having gathered the information he needed to, he didn't know if he should tell it to his commander, he would lie, and get praise for his survival. He ran along the path back to the base and went to his commander, and told him that he was captured on his way to the angel base and didn't pay attention to what he needed to while his survival instinct helped him back to the base. He was honored for his courage and praised for what he planned on. He went to his tent and took down the barrier and took a nap in his tent.

She still didn't know why she let him go. It was a stupid thing to do. She went back to her tent and laid on the bed, tring to figure out why she did that.

He dreamed he was on a battlefield holding that angels lifeless body, upset about it, and he was crying. He didn't know why, but he just wanted this unneeded dream to end and so it did, he opened his eyes and wiped away the tears he had shed, luckily no one saw him cry.

She fell asleep for a few hours. She had a dreamless sleep. Which was fine by her. She didn't want to dream. It only made her more tired when she woke. It was about dawn when she did wake.

He didn't know why he had had that dream but it was really weird, was that a possible future for him? He hoped not. He sat up and shook his head to clear it.

She got something to eat and did some training with her brothers. But mostly she just sat around, deep in thought.

He had grabbed a quick bite to eat, he trained his body to function on little food properly. He trained using his sword, He was one of the best swordsman in the demon army, but he chose not to use that skill unless he needed to. He was deep in thought the whole time, he didn't have worry about cutting himself training, he was too good for that to happen.

As dark began to fall, she headed out for patrol. Just like everynight. But she didn't stay near the base. She headed further out. She needed to be away from everyone right now.

Angel was one of the ones choosen for patrol, and he was greatful for that, needed to be by the water. He practically ran around making sure everything was okay, then stood on the same peninsula he had stood on on nights he needed to be by the water and away from everything, he stared out to the distance, seeing ships coming in to dock for the night.

Thea ended up back by the beach. She walked along the sand, just out of the water's reach. She saw someone up ahead and stopped. She could tell it was the same demon from before. And she wasn't in the mood for a fight.

He sensed Thea near and didn't bother moving from where he was he just let the water distract him from the present, he didn't want to fight that's why he left his weapons behind. He thought of how his father would advise he deal with this war.

"Why is it that I keep running into you?" she asked, quiet, but still loud enough for him to hear.

"I don't know, but I came here because I need to be by the water at times." he answered in the same volume. "Why don't you come over here and we talk like civilized beings?" he asked.

She was silent for a moment. Then she headed over to him. She stopped a few feet away.

"I know you don't trust me, but I won't hurt you, I don't even have any weapons on me, I know stupid demon, right?" He smiled at his own stupidity, or maybe peace loving ways. He walked to the land just at the edge of the peninsula, and looked her over briefly, he could tell she didn't want a fight either. "So what brings you to come to this beach tonight?"
