"I am not crushing on him," she lied, not believing it. "The truce was his idea, since chem requires us to work together, we're lab partners. We kinda need to work together to pass," she explained.

"Alright I guess I can understand how that makes sense." She nodded. "Now the question is, how do you make him be nice to you all the time...." She ran her fingers through her hair. "I wonder how Marza is.... I don`t even know what class she had last..."

"Well, I don't think threatening him was the best way for that to happen," she mused, having left that part of the class out. "Marza, I dunno where she had class, maybe she ran into Krys and they really hit it off," she smiled at the thought.

Kimmy got out of class and walked down the halls trying to find her locker after about five minutes of looking she found it "alright so im here i guess." she got into her locker and looked into it their were small things left behind from the last person but nothing to big so she just kept the little things in their and slamed her books that she got from her last classes in their. once she closed her locker she smiled she saw who she was going to go look for walking toward her "Hey Collins what are you doing here and why do i smell pizza on you?"

Syrine shook her head. "You threatened him? Well who knows? He's such a 'strong and tough' guy that he may look at that approvingly..." She thought aloud. "Hmm, Marza's so shy so I can't see her going after him so quickly. They might've had a class together, but I don't think she would've started on the plan yet..."

Yume looked up from where he was sitting, his pencil stopping mid-stroke, "Of course not. I don't own the roof now do I?" He indicated for Tony to sit wherever he wanted and returned his attention to the papers in his lap, finishing the line before picking up the container of food next to him and taking a bite out of his lunch. He looked up to the sky then. "Wonder what's taking Krys so long..." he mumbled to himself. He dropped his gaze and quickly scribbled some notes onto his sheets before putting them away fro later.
Krys sat up when the bell rang and gathered his materials. He nodded a 'see-you-later' to Marzaphan before going to clean his used materials. Then he retrieved his bag and left the classroom, making a quick stop at his locker before heading up to the roof. "Hey." he greeted the two boys when he reached the roof. He took a seat next to Yume and picked up the folder the other boy had set aside. He flipped it open and scanned the pages, looking up every few seconds. He let the folder drop to his lap as he extracted his lunch from his bag. "So what's up?" he asked Tony, "It's rare for anyone to join us for lunch." |
Anthony sat down a bit away from Yume, enjoying the silence as he drank his water. "Hey Krys." He nodded, saluting with the bottle. "I figured that this would be a good time to say that I've made a conditional truce with California. We have science together, lab partners." He ran his hand through his hair. "So if I'm going to try to unmask her, I'm down a possible hour."

Krys nodded, "Well, that's good I guess. I've got art with Marzaphan. We exchanged a few words. Not much progress on my part. She doesn't seem that bad though." he reported. He left his fork in his mouth and tapped his chin, "She's actually a really shy person, did you know?" He nudged Yume with his elbow to tell the guy to say something. "I met up with Syrine after I walked out on my music teacher." Yume shrugged, "She seemed pretty decent to me."

Tony growled. "Syrine is not decent! She's the worst of the three. Acts all sweet, but she knows she better than everyone else. Syrine doesn't have a modest bone in her body, no shame." He looked up at the sky, narrowing his eyes. "That girl is nothing but trouble for everyone.... Don't be fooled by her."

Cali thought about it or a moment. She hadn't thought that Tony might approve of her threatening him, she had been more concerned about her friends. She had known that he had some seemingly major issues about Syra. She shifted her thoughts to Marza. "You're right, unless she was right next to him in class, she wouldn't outright approach him," she said, thinking about it.
Collins smiled when he saw the new girl by her locker. He was somewhat surprised it was so close to Cali's. New students usually got lockers in the dark halls of the school. "I am actually looking for you, I thought we could hang out during lunch, if you'd like. The pizza was my lunch, I got hungry," he smiled sheepishly. |
Krys rolled his eyes, telling Yume things like that was like trying to convince a brick wall it was a sponge. Impossible. He picked up the folder and took the sheets out, ignoring the other two for the moment.
Yume frowned slightly, "Yes well, you say these things but have you actually ever spoken with her? Gotten to know her?" Yume didn't like rumors or gossiping, and he especially hated people talking behind other's backs. His expression remained neutral as he continued,"From the way you act, it's like you have a crush on her." |
Syra giggled, and opened her bag of chips. She held it out, offering to Cali. "Yeah, then Marza would be in some serious trouble." She smiled. "You know, Marza and Krys would actually be kinda cute together...." She mused.
"I do not have a crush. That girl has been a thorn in my side since I started doing track and field. She has no respect for anyone but her girls." Tony took a drink to calm himself down. "I tried being civil when we were first introduced, but she had no respect then, and she still has no respect now." |
Cali took a couple chips, she usually didn't eat much lunch at school. Her mother made her picky about what she ate, but after chem, Cali just needed something salty. She thought about Marza and Krys. "They would be an adorable couple, being that they are both artists. They actually have a lot in common, well so do you and Yume, if you think about it. Isn't he into music? And you are the best dancer," she continued the thought aloud.

"So that's it is it?" Yume's tone was suddenly icy and that made Krys sit up and put a hand on his shoulder warningly, "Jealousy isn't really such a good thing to base your assumptions off of." He shrugged Krys' hand off and leaned back, his head suddenly throbbing in pain, "And all she did while i was speaking to her was defend her friends and apologize for overreacting. It's what anyone would have done." He closed his eyes and threw an arm across his face, mumbling incoherently to himself.
Krys' eyes darted from Tony to Yume. Note to self, find out how other people manage to piss off Yume so easily, he thought wryly. "Maybe we should just drop the topic for now. Arguing with each other won't get us anywhere." |
Syrine blushed at the compliment. "Not the best, but good. Yume was ditching music when we met..." She ate some chips. "But yeah, the two Artists, the two music involved, and the flirt and the athlete?" Syra mused smiling. "What and interesting group we'd make... If VonVell could ever stand me..."
Tony smirked, "spend an hour with her, everyday for a week, and you'll see what I mean." He looked away, took another swig of his water, and got up. "I'll just leave you two alone then instead. I'll talk to you later." he waved as he left the roof. |
Cali giggled at the image of the six of them hanging out together. She thought that both of the other girls had a larger chance of getting their boys than she did Tony. "He could play the music you dance to. And its a better match than me and VonVell, he hates my bff and that does not work with me. And, it would only work if we were perpetually in Chem class, which I'm not really willing to do. And you need to include Collins and Kimmy in the group, right?" she added, grinning.

Syrine laughed. "right right right. Kimmy and Collins are adorable as well..." She purposfully gave herself a bit more time to think about Cali and Tony. "If you really want to stand a chance with him, I'll try to be more civil. Even let him win a race or two." She smiled.

Cali smiled. "Oh, I couldn't have you do that. You love beating him at races. I'll just have to get him to change his mind about you. Besides, we were right, VonVell at least is immune to our powers," she added, remembering why they were at first interested in the guys. During chem she had pretty much completely forgotten. She had liked being able to talk to a guy without him being under her spell. She had found out many things during class, though not were actually pertaining to chemistry.

"Yume as well." She nodded. "When he flirted back I thought maybe he had just suppressed it for a bit, but no, I don't think he's affected at all. Why do you think they're so special?"

Cali sat down on the floor and thought about it. "Hmm, I don't know. As far I as know there wasn't anyone who was immune the sirens in mythology, right? So why would they be that way?" she asked.

Collins moved away from Kimmy when she poked him. "Hey, I'll lead to the cafeteria for pizza but no tickling," he said. He liked how she linked her arm with his. He noticed that there was a fair amount of stares from other students. He ignored it, after being around Marza, Syra, and Cali, he was used to it. He lead her through the halls to the cafeteria to get food.

Krys waved back before turning to Yume and poking him in the side. That made Yume flinch and fall onto his side as he moved away from the finger. His eyes darted open and he pouted at Krys, "What was that for?" "'Cause you were being mean." Yume rolled onto his back and "accidentally" kicked Krys in the side, causing the poor artist to fall over as well. Yume laughed when his ears were greated with a groan that had slipped past Krys' lips. Then he sighed and stared blankly up at the sky, Krys copying him from his own spot. "But I was telling the truth...she was being decent." "I know what you mean..." A moment of silence settled on the two friends before Krys propped himself up on his elbows and turned so that he was facing Yume, "Now what is this I hear about you walking out on your music teacher?"

Kimmy laughed "what i was only poking to see where your soft spot was." she let him take the lead to the cafeteria by then she noticed they were being watched by at least half if not more of the people their "oh my seems we make quite the entrance." She unlinked her arms and waved to everyone "hello everyone." She yelled so most of the cafeteria could hear her over the noise and well that made the rest of the people look at her and well she could now almost feel the daggers most of the girls were throwing at her with their eyes "back to your eating i know i am." She laughed and went to grab herself a pizza and some chips and then paid. Now with her food at hand she skipped over to Collins and giggled taking a bite of her pizza it was awful but she was hungry and was used to cafetira food, like a lady she waited till she was done with her bite till she spoke "you ready to show me around?"

Collins grinned and shook his head as he watched Kimmy cross the cafeteria. 'This girl could give Cali a run for her money in making a grand entrance,' he thought, since she certainly received the same reaction from everyone. "Let's go, where would you like to go first?" he asked as they left the cafeteria.
