Likes: Fighting, toning his body, being boisterous, and the princes' singing.
Dislikes: Being a bodyguard, women they are too clingy, having to stand for great lengths of time and not being active.
Others: Likes to pick on the Prince to hide his attraction to the young lad.

Rave was outside the underwater city. He was in a small field of seaweed, laying on the sand of the ocean floor. It was quiet and pieceful and luckily he snuck out without his bodyguard. He needed time to think about everything. His father had already told him he was going to be King weither he liked it or not and he was going to be announcing that to the entire city today. The prince sighed and closed his eyes.

Zale was slightly frustrated at the fact the Prince escaped from his sight. Made him look like a poor body guard and he wouldn't stand for that. Storming through the palace he asked any servant he went by if they saw the lad. The boy would be getting announced that he was going to be the next heir to the throne and he was nowhere to be found. With a lucky break one person saw him leave the castle and Zale knew exactly where he went.

Seeing the boy, Zale went over to him silently and glowered at the prince. A low husky sound escaped the guards chest as he reprimanded him. "Are you trying to get me killed?" He couldn't help but be furious, it was his job to keep an eye on him and he ran off on such an important day.

Rave jumped slightly at the sound of his guard's voice. His eyes opened to see him and how angry he was. The prince "brushed" it off and swam a few feet away from him so they weren't so close. "I'm not going back... not right now at least," he stated and started playing with one of the seaweeds.

Zale's lip twitched slightly before he let out a sigh in defeat. "Just stay where I can see you Prince." he drawled out before rolling his eyes and sat in the sand holding himself up with his arms. All he wanted was to keep his head on his shoulders. Getting to watch the prince play around in the seaweed was just an added bonus.

Rave looked back at his body guard, looking at his toned body. A tint of pink touched his cheeks and he turned back towards the seaweed. "you know," he started to say, "my father didn't even ask me if i wanted to be King. He just told me that i was going to be and thats it. Next thing i'll know, he'll be picking out my bride. he doesn't care how i feel, he just does things because the Kingdom needs it." he spoke the last bit in a mimking voice to sound like his father.
"I have 14 sisters.... find one of them a husband and gave him the Kingdom...." The prince sat down where he was and looked at the sand.

The body guard slowly got up and made his way over to sit next to the prince finding the distance awkward while they talked. "So you want your Father to choose some man that is power hungry and only wants to be King instead of someone who has the best interest in helping his people." he said looking at the prince with a raised eyebrow. "If I were your Father I would choose you." As he spoken Kale stared up at the deep blue sea in a calm trance. It was nice to be outside and away from the buisness of the palace. "Don't worry so much kid. If you man up and tell your father what you think it might get through to him instead of running away like a child. Show him you can rule without the companionship of a wife." As Zale spoke he was thinking of the prince with someone women by his side and it infuriated the body guard greatly.

Rave looked at his guard with eyes that said 'are you joking?' He took a deep breath, "you've tried talking to my dad before, right? He's loud and won't want to hear a single word you say, unless you're agreeing with him."
He took a blade of seaweed and started pulling it apart at different spots.

((alright, i'm off to bed.... night!!!))

Kale looked back at the prince and laughed. "Minus the loud part he sounds a lot like you." he chuckled smirking at him amused at how he was tearing the seaweed apart. Without really think he reached over and pulled a piece of himself getting pretty close to Rave. "He'll listen once he starts hearing you don't wanna be King. That will devastate him. His own son doesn't want to follow in his fathers footsteps."

Rave glared at him. "i'm not at like my father at all!" he said, a little upset. He turned back to the seaweed and began playing with it again. "There's so much more to it though. not just that i don't want to be King," he sighed and let the seaweed go as he let himself drift to the sand. The prince looked up at what they could see of the sun, which was really just light.
"You know... There's a whole world up there..." he stated, not sure what he was getting at.

Zale laughed merrily at the prince's reaction happy to get some emotion out of him, it is what made his day and he rarely did it in the palace. Wouldn't go over to well if he was teasing the prince of all people. He just quietly looked at the prince wondering what was upsetting him so much if being King wasn't the only thing. Then he was thrown into another fit of laughter by the lads comment. "A world you can't live on with that." he said slowly letting his eyes scan down Rave's body to stop at his tail.

Rave swam up a bit, angry once more. "so what? i would like to see it still! besides, my father has a spell book and i saw one in there that gave merpeople.... feet," he paused a brief second to remember what the word was. he turned away and swam out of the field of seaweed, away from the palace. he then sighed, looking around.

Zale started laughing more till the Price started swimming away again. Chasing after him Zale swam in front of to end up placing his hands on his shoulders. "Calm down I was teasing you. If you want to see it so bad then lets go." he said holding his hand out ready to swim up to the surface with the prince. Wanted to see if there was really anything they could see up there and it would keep the Prince close and not swimming away.

Rave looked down at the sand, a little upset that his own bodyguard would make fun of his dreams. Then after hearing that he'll take him up to the surface, a smile plastered itself on his face. "Really? you'd go with me?" he asked excittedly. then the prince remembered that he was suppose to be King and he looked back at the palace.
"I can't... i'm suppose to be King," he then said and he floated back down to the sand. His smile faded and a sadness lingered in his eyes.

Zale sighed as the Prince's smile faded. Ever since he was told he was going to be King his smile disappeared. It tore through Zale like razor sharp claws. Then without a moments hesitation he picked up the Prince and started swimming towards the surface. "I would go anywhere with you Prince. Now who said we are going to leave? We are just going to look." he said in his tone that meant his decision was final either the Prince was with him or he wasn't. However Zale kept his serious face on actually acting like a bodyguard he should be. Always broke that facade when he was alone with the Prince, didn't see why he needed it.

Rave was shocked. he was suddenly picked up and being taken higher and higher. He wrapped his arms around his body guards neck. He could have swam by himself but Zale was just so fast that he figured they'd get there faster like this.

Zale gently put his arms around the Prince's waist seeing as he was now the one doing the work to swim to the surface. It didn't bother him, he rather enjoyed having Rave hold onto him, the smile that crept over his lips couldn't be contained. But soon enough Zale reached the surface and let his arms slack around the Prince not wanting to upset him by still holding on.

Once they hit the surface, Rave let go almost hesitently though. he looked around in aw. The birds flew overhead and the wind blow. The prince spotted a piece of land in the distance. He looked at Zale and then back to the land. "I want to go see it.... I want to know how these humans live...."

It surprised Zale at how breathtaking the surface was, he started to realize why Rave liked it so much. Was like a whole different world, a world he himself wanted to explore. Looking at the prince he smiled before taking his hand, "Then lets go see it." he said with a chuckle before starting to swim over to the piece of land taking the prince with him.

Rave blushed when his hand was grabbed and he was being led over to the land. He followed his guard closely. he shivered from the wind beating on him, the excitement and joy.

Zale gently maneuvered the Prince's body so he was blocking the wind from the shivering male. Soon enough they got near the land but Zale stayed where he could still easily swim. "Now would be a good time to have, feet." He joked quietly swimming around looking at all the trees in amazement. All they had was coral and seaweed. "So how does that spell work? Do we just obtain feet and never get our fins back?" He wanted to know because even with Rave being a Prince they could visit this other world but still return to the palace. It could be there secret.

{It is okay. I tried to give you something. Just hard when they can't actually move on the land.}

Rave thought for a brief moment then spoke, "I'm not sure. but i'm sure we can find out... it should say so in the book, right?" He got as close as he could to the dry sand and sat there. the water came up to his waist and he looked at the buildings beyond the sand and the grass.
"Everything is so different here...." he said gawking at it all.
Then, from out of nowhere, a female human walked across the beach. She was reading a book and didn't seemed to notice the two (not yet anyway). Her hair blew in the wind along with her summer dress. The prince staired at her, mainly her feet though.

"Well, have to look when we get back then. Won't we?" he chuckled that was till he saw something from the corner of his eye. Zale being the guard he was instantly noticed the female walking along the beach near Rave. Without a second though he quickly swam over to the prince to wrap his arm around the boys waist and pull him slightly deeper into the water. All that Zale wanted was to have their tails hidden. "Different and dangerous." he growled protectively, he would not allow their identities to be discovered. He just knew the girls feet were what Rave talked about and seeing them up close made Zale want a pair too.

Rave was suddenly pulled a little deeper into the water and this angered him. "Zale! Leave me alone!" he tried pushing him off but failed at doing so. The human girl looked over to see what was going on. She started walking towards the two, thinking that Zale was abusing the prince in some way.
"hey! is he bothering you?" She called out, still not entirely sure what was going on.
