Niele stopped singing and went over to Goya, looking worried. "Are you alright, Goya?" He asked, moving a section of his strawberry blonde hair out of his face and waiting for Goya to compose himself. "Ah--If you need something to calm your stomach..I can go find it, if you tell me where it is on your ship..Just tell me what I need to do to help.."

The pirate put his hand up, shaking his head as he leaned back, wiping his mouth. "No, I am fine. I doubt if I have anything on here, anyway." he answered, sighing and sitting down. "You have a very nice voice." he said, smiling slightly at him before frowning once more. He didn't smile often.

"Thank you!..Hmm.." Niele frowned cutely. "Sounds like you're in a tight spot..How far away is the mainland? I can help you fish if you'd like..My tentacles are very accurate, and fishies think they're interesting, so it's easy..Oh!I just remembered something!" He said, 'standing' once again. "Can I go into the sea for a moment, Goya? I promise I'll return."

His heart strings shivered whenever he saw the frown. It shouldn't be, but it was cute. He had an odd childish urge to grab him and squeeze until he was finished and let him go. He glanced worriedly into the water but his chest rose and fell in a sigh as his head bobbed in a nod. "Sure, go ahead. Just don't be too long or I'll get...angsty." If that didn't prove that he wanted him there for more, than he didn't know what would, but he prayed that the little squid would be naive and not notice.

"Don't worry, Goya!i think you'll cheer up when you see what I'm getting..Be right back!" He said, diving into the water.

About ten minutes later he retunred, or his back half did, his front half and his arm-tentacles seemed to be dragging something heavy up the side of the ship. His torso finally met his legs at the edge of the deck and he sighed in relief, thudding a large chest down on the deck, and relaxing. "Open it!You'd be surprised what you can find on the ocean floor..I find plenty, so you can have this!Consider it a gift, for not eating me." Niele giggled, squeezing a bit of water out of his hair.

Goya sat down on a crate and waited as Niele went overboard. After five minutes he got a little worried, but he sat it out. Then he saw his fleshy back pulling in something heavy, and he moved to assist him until he saw what it was and froze. "Wow.." was all he could say before he reached slowly, tentatively, to see what was inside the chest. Would he even NEED to sell Niele?

Niele smiled cutely. "There's all kinds of crashed ships and stuff down there, the people who had them don't need it anymore so I pick all of it up..Really shiny stuff." Niele said, leaning back against the side of the ship, sitting down ont he deck again as he happily watched Goya.

Once the chest finally was opened, in sunlihgt, one would be blinded. Gold, gems, expensive pearls..Everything one could imagine you would find in a crashed ship, that would classify as shiny. It seemed Niele had taken what he wanted out of it, a long pearl necklace that had broken, that he had repaired into two cute bracelets, the creamy pearls complementing his colors. "I hope that'll help you.." He said, smiling up at Goya. "I took what I wanted, just these.." He said, wiggling his fingers around to draw attention to his wrists.

Goya looked through the gorgeous chest, then over to Niele. Overcome, he stood and walked over to the wet thing, and gave it a giant hug. "Thank you so much. This is exactly what I needed." he whispered into his ear, retreating from the hug finally. He now had his shirt wet, so he headed into his cabin to change. "If you absolutely want, you can go home." After all he was doing for him, it was no use to keep him against any will.

"Ah!" Niele squeaked, shocked by the hug. "You're welcome!" He smiled, giving Goya a friendly kiss to the cheek. "I think I'll stay..I like you now, Goya, you're interesting..And really nice!I don't want to leave you all alone again.." He giggled, following Goya. "If you ever want me to look for more shiny stuff, I can dive down and look for more treasure..I'm really strong, so it's no problem really. It's fun to do, too.. much better if you can breathe underwater obviously." He said, twirling a section of his curly pinkish hair.

Goya didn't feel that he was so interesting and nice, but he was flattered that the other thought so. He nodded, pushing his messy red hair out of his face, watching the squid boy. "You're not so bad, yourself." he told him with an almost smile, watching him curl his hair into his finger. He looked out to the sky and yawned. "I should be heading to bed...Where do you want to sleep?"

"Yeah, I'm pretty sleepy too..Hmm..There's no really good place I can sleep being so wet, huh?I don't HAVE to stay super wet 24/7, it's just a lot more comfortable not feeling like I'm slowly being turned into dried squid." He laughed, letting his hair spin free from his finger.

Goya shrugged his shoulders, walking over. "You can sleep wherever you want, wet or dry. And if you are...well...what you are, then you need to be in water, so you don't dry out." He patted the squid on his curly hair. "I have a bed and a hammock, take your pick."

"I know I have to be wet sometime, silly!I'm twenty years old you'd think I'd know my body by now." He stuck his tongue out at Goya, and lit up at the word 'hammock'. "Ooh, hammock.I've always wanted to sleep in one of those, they seem so comfy!I'm not super super heavy..Here, try to lift me!"

It was true, somehow, although he was so massive, he only weighted about 170 or so pounds, if that. "I like having my legs hanging off and stuff, so it's probably better for me.." He giggled. it was rather cute, seeing him refer to the eight tentacles of his as legs.

(Eight? or maybe six, I'm not sure if their arms count into the count of eight tentacles on a squid. o_o; )

Goya wasn't sure if he was supposed to really lift the mythical creature or not, so he just nodded, implying that he believed him and headed into a room where he came out with a hammock, and tied it to two masts that were close together. "I assume you'd like to look at the stars before you sleep?" he asked, knowing that was the only reason he ever slept in a hammock.

The red head had to admit that the squidboy was pretty cute, the way he regarded himself. He was so open and free willed. It was admirable. "I hope you sleep well." Goya told him, his voice a bit softer, and nodded to him, heading inside when everything was set up.

(Aight thanks. :P I tend to call his arms his tentacles and his tentacles his arms. OOPS it's becaus ehe uses the longer ones as two more HUMAN arms. 8D; DERP )

Niele pulled Goya back and kissed his cheek gently before letting him go, leaving circular marks from his suckers on the man's upper arms. He waved cutely to Goya and blew him another kiss, then got into his hammock. "Goodnight new friend." He said quietly, before cuddling up in the hammock and slowly falling asleep, watching the clouds and staring up at the stars.

Goya was surprised by the kiss on the cheek and stood in a trance, watching him and waving slowly, dazed. When the squid laid in the hammock, his brain kicked in and he wished him a goodnight before going into his cabin, curling up on his bed. Only a few more days until they are back.

The morning came too quickly, and Goya was up preparing his ship for another day of sailing. Goya preferred rather than liked to get up early, so he was up with the sun, and headed over to the hammock to see if the new alleged friend was certainly there.

Niele slept rather cutely, his arms and all of his tentacles sprawled out and hanging off teh sides of the hammock, each at varying lengths as some of tehm served to comfort their owner, cuddling his own 'legs' up against himself as he laid on his back. He was so peaceful..

The sunrise, like the moon, made his slightly wet skin on his shole body shimmer beautifully, making those pearl bracelets on his wrists shine and gently shaking him awake. He slowly opened his sweet brown eyes and he smiled at Goya. "Morning.." He yawned cutely, curling up a bit more with his tentacles, which all stretched out then curled up cutly in little swirls.This creature couldn't be real; he was just too cute.

Goya leaned gently over him, touching his shoulders with his fingertips. His golden eyes bounced on different areas of him, memorizing his image. His hand quickly drew away as the creature awoke, this slimey appendages curling and shivering. He wanted to feel those suckers and the soft skin, but he kept away. "Good morning." he replied, nodding and walking away, trying not to look at him. It was hard, for his eyes wanted to look upon him again. "I'm going to need your strength...Come here and take this rope and help me pull." Put him to work. That should help.

Niele nodded. "Okay..Just give me a second alright?" He said, getting out of his hammock and yawning and stretching again, before jumping into the sea and quickly climbing back up. "Ah,, refreshing..Gotta stay wet you know." He stuck his tongue out a bit and giggled, before following Goya's instructions--He felt so wonderful, being able to help this man, who to the best of his knowledge, was being oh so kind to him up to this point.

Goya waited, holding the very tough rope, and watched as he dove away then came up and went through this little ritual of sorts. He looked away when he stepped forward and pulled, then instructed him to tie the rope at a certain place. He stepped back to look at the work, and it was acceptable. "I'm going to start washing the deck now, so...You can do whatever you wish. What do you usually do down there in the ocean?"

"Hmm..My ocean life is kinda boring. I talk to fish, eat, look for shiny things..Not a whole lot.Can I help more?" He smiled cutely, putting his hands behind his back and looking down at goya, as he was standing rather high on his legs. He looked off at the still rising sun and he sighed happily. "The sunrise is so pretty.."

The sun was the color of his tentacles, soft, warm pinkish red, as it rose above the horizon, turning the water beautiful colors and shimmering against Niele's smooth, wet skin.

Goya nodded, and looked out. He understood boring. It was very lonely, being the only man on his ship. If he had a woman or a crew with him then he'd enjoy himself more, perhaps. When he looked back at Niele to answer him, he stared. He looked so magical with the sun bouncing off of him in gleams from the water. He turned away, unable to look at him any longer.

"ah...Yea, you can help clean...If you'd like." He needed to set out more nets anyway, so he could get Niele do that. "There isn't much to do out here, really. I'd go swimming, but with sharks and open ocean..." he shuddered, shaking his head.

"I'd love to!" Niele said, looking away from the sunrise and over to Goya. "If you want to swim, I can protect you..I'm strong." He said, making an example of his strength by lifting Goya off the ground maybe half a foot, with almost no problem. "See?" He said, setting Goya down.

Goya wiggled whenever he was lifted, taken off guard. As cute and boyish the squid look, he was scary strong and it made Goya very uncomfortable. He was supposed to be all weak and frail and dependant, right?! Goya sighed and stepped away, nodding. "Y-yea, I see.....Sure, we can anchor here and go swimming." Of course the waves out here were thick and he was a little nervous, but if Niele was so strong, he wouldn't have to be worried. It was a plus, really.

"No, if you still need to do chores and stuff we shouldn't.Plus, the faster we get to land the better! You'll wither away otherwise, with no food..Although I could help fish, too. fishies like these.." He said, wiggling his second pair of 'hands'. Niele grinned, sticking them together and then popping them apart. "So!Where can I start?" He said, being oddly and cutely enthusiatic about doing boring chores.
