Yoru stepped out of her Black Viper and locked it. The mall was good place for herm that is at least until she got hungry. She let her hair down and took off her black sunglasses and walked inside the building. She took her driving gloves off and put them in a small backpack that she had with her. Looking around the food court, she ignored the man that goucked at her and she walked past.

Tauna was in the mall food court and having her usual breakfast wrap. She loved those paired with a flavoured coffee. Today's was a caramel-toffee flavour. She didn't have to work today so she took her time. No one stared at her except those she knew since elementary school. Being super shy one minute and super hyper the next wasn't very helpful when it came to making friends. She couldn't help that, though. It ran through her veins. Her pale, thin face made her look a bit sickly and her almost colourless eyes made her look almost like a freak. She didn't care though what other people thought of her as she minded her own business.

Yoru caught site of a girl sitting a lone, eating wraps and drinking coffee. She wanted to meet her, but not here... not now. The girl kept walking and went into a music store. She looked around at the collection of CDs, but staying in site of the food court so that she could see everything.

Tauna finished her wrap which she'd cut in half and threw out her garbage. She picked up her coffee and headed for the music store as well. She was looking for a CD to get for her father for his birthday, but wasn't sure which one would be good as she walked isle by isle passing by everyone, male or female.

((lmao... DD has breakfast wraps and flavored coffee.... XD lmao i work there....))

Yoru noticed the girl walking her way and purposely started walking towards her with something in her hand "reading" it. She accidentally bumped into her. "Oh! i'm so sorry.... uh.... are you alright?" she asked.

((YES! the best way to get a girl! XD))

Tauna made a high-pitched squeaking sound and walked backwards a bit to avoid falling over on her butt. She'd been out in a daze looking for that CD didn't notice anything at all. "Y-yeah... Fine..." Her voice was so soft as she spoke. Then she straightened herself and looked up at the girl with purple hair. She liked abnormal hair colours on girls and she blushed giving her face some colour. She looked down shyly and fiddled with the strap of her purse.

Yoru smiled hearing that she was ok and licked her lips when the girl blushed. "Is there some way i can repay you for my stupidity?" she asked hoping that the girl would say yes, if not, she'd have to find another means of getting her out to dinner.

"Um... It wasn't really stupidity. Just a normal bump into." She'd seen the readable something in the girl's hand. "Even I do things like that while reading and walking... It's just one of those things that happens." Quite naive she was to think something like that to be an accident. She was still blushing slightly, though as if her soul knew what was going on when her mind didn't.

"Well at least let me help you find whatever it is you're looking for," she said, looking around the store and at all the people. She looked back at the girl, waiting for a responce.

"Um. Well It's my father's birthday soon and I'm wondering what to get him. But I don't think there's anything in here that he would like... As far as I've seen anyway..." She was also looking for a documentary of her heritage from the video section for herself, but was a bit embarrassed to say what this heritage was to this girl. She didn't want to come off as some freak. She looked completely normal.

"aw, how sweet," Yoru smiled. she couldn't remember the last time she saw her father.... but it was several hundreds of years ago. "Well, what type of things does your father like? I know this place quit well and i'm sure i'll be able to find it if they have it."

"Um... He likes horror movies, music that sounds deadly... Heavy metal I think or something like that... Anything scary really. I'm not really into that type of thing so I don't know what to look for." She may have a heritage to a scary, Halloween mythical thing, but that didn't mean she had to like scary things herself.
She figured this would be the perfect opportunity to hint something, too. For what she was looking for, but added on to the conversation. "He... He also likes documentaries... About scary things that are said to be only in myths..." Her father was only a descendant like herself, but was much more like the heritage it than she was.

"really? I know exactly where to find all of those," she said as she started walking to the rock music section. she pointed the good bands out and then she took the girl over to the DVDs and took a few good documantaries out. Showing her which ones were the most factual.
"There, now that wasn't so hard, was it?"

"Nope! That was easier. Thanks. And I just remembered the genre of music! He called it death metal..." She sweat dropped at the weird name. Not her personal favourite. "I actually don't know much about these things... Figured I'd just come here for his birthday." Most of that was true. She never went near it either till today. She did have a curious streak in her, though as she looked through the documentaries the girl showed her. Tauna soon found the one she was searching for. The red cover gave it away. "That's the one. Vampires."

Yoru looked at the girl, a little shocked. "Vampires, huh? What's so great about those made up creatures?" she asked, trying to sound like a normal human.

"I... I don't know. Just curious..." She was taken aback from the way it was said. Sounded normal, but with a tinge of... Anger? Maybe she was just hearing things as she looked at the back of the documentary. "My family is interested in them I guess... They believe they're real... Even I do sometimes..." She paused as she flipped the documentary back to the front. "Most people think it's just a silly myth or made up thing for Halloween. Something that's scary enough to qualify. Do you really think they're made up?"

Yoru thought for a moment before speaking, "Well, I believe that they are real, just not the way every believes them to be... you know?" she smiled at Tauna, showing her teeth. they were normal size but her canine were a little sharper than a normal human's. "So, I know you just ate and all, but can i take you to lunch?" she finally asked.

Still quite naive, Tauna didn't notice the more sharper fang-like teeth... Not at first. From her height she couldn't see the difference. Everyone in her family was taller then her as well so the same thing applied. Even though she knew they were there. It was a brief moment anyway before the girl started talking again. "Yeah... I think I understand. Some people believe they're evil, some say they're supposed to live forever till they get killed, and some tell stories about them having unique or special powers. But, I'm sure if they did exist, they'd be almost like normal humans, too. Have feelings and all that." She smiled back, but unlike the girl, she had no fangs.
"You saw me eat breakfast?" The smiled faded as a slight blush from embarrassment appeared on her face. She had no idea she was being watched... Her face grew even redder then as her stomach made noise. Wraps to her was like a light snack that went right through her. Hollow leg or something...

Yoru laughed a little. "Ya, I walked past you while you ate. Anyway, sounds like you're hungry again. shall we?"

"H-hollow leg... One sec..." That was all she managed to say as she walked over to the shelf with the CDs, still in blushing-shy mode. She found one of a band she recognized in her basement belonging to her father, but it was an album name she hadn't seen before. Figuring her father didn't have this one yet, she picked it up and walked over to the cashier with it and the documentary. She'd watch it later even though she had a portable DVD player in her purse.
After paying for the items, she walked back to the girl. "Found something for my father. I'm hoping he likes it." The blush was gone and she was acting normal again. "Where to for lunch?"

"good," the girl responded then thought for a second. "how about Chili's?" she asked thinking it'd be a great place for the both of them. She started walking out of the store, slow enough to make sure this girl could keep up.
