Jahero walked through the forest. The wind blew into his fur, moving it slowly. "I was bitten" He said somewhat coldly. " i was bitten at the age of " he thought about it for a moment before going on " 21 i believe when it happened, i was hunting with my brother. We had just gotten a new place and where living on are own for the first time. We had been hunting for three days start, following a herd of deer, but we werent the only one"

"That's horrible!" Jewel exclamed. "What happened to your brother?" She asked quietly hoping he still knew that he didn't have to answer. If he was in his human form she would have given him a hug, hugs always make a person feel better. "Are you a werewolf now for the rest of your life? Do you live forever? How old are you now? You don't look very old.."

"My younger brother was killed by hunters will we were hunting for the third time as wolves, we were just getting use to being in this form when he stepped into a trap. At the time we didnt know how to change into human form when we wanted, we had to wait untill morning after the full moon. The hunters came, they where screaming at us and shotting there shotguns. They had dogs with them. My brother and i were scared, we didnt know what to do and i couldnt get the trap off of his leg. " Jahero took a breath as he took a left into a fruit farm, " My brother looked at me, tears in his eyes and said to me; Jahero, ou got to run you got to get out of here and leave me; but i didnt lisen to him, i stayed with him and we where caught by the hunters. 2 days later my brother was killed in a dog fight. " Jahero stopped nexts to a orange tree and layed down allowing jewel to get off. " I was 21 when i was bitten and in my human form that is what i look, but ive been 21 for a very long time. Werewolves can live forever but we can get killed, you have to burn us or eat us in order for us to stay died in which my brother passed from. "

She slowly stepped off of his back and knelt down so that she could wrap her arms around his furry neck. Once she did, Jewel whispered, "I'm so sorry Jahero." She pulled away and sat back wiping a few stray tears from her own eyes. She felt so bad about his brother dying. It upset her so much to know how something so bad could happen to someone so kind as Jahero. "At least you weren't alone when you came out here. And even though he's gone you have other wolves who you can talk to." Pausing for a moment Jewel bit her lip. "Sorry, I'm not helping very much, am I?" She stood up and leaned back against the tree for a moment. "I'll be back down in a minute or two." Quickly she climbed up the tree and pulled a few oranges off the tree before moving to sit on one of the branches.

Jahero lay his head on her shoulder before she pelled away to move up the tree. He looked up at her as she grabbed a few oranges. "That's is alright, he still lives with me in sprite' Jahero said as he lay his head down and felt the breeze.

Jewel put the oranges on her lap and wrapped her dress around them before flipping backward and hanging off the tree limb. She forget that Jahero was there and her whole skirt flipped down showing her underwear. Quickly she continued her flip and landed on the grass below straightening her skirt and dropping the oranges to the ground next to Jahero. She sat down next to him with her legs crossed and reached over to touch is fur. "You're so cute and fuzzy!" She giggled lightening her own mood a bit, and hopefully his mood too. "Would you like an orange?"

Jahero smelled the orange. It had been so long that he had anything besides meat to eat. He moved it with his paw for a little bit before poking a hole into it. Its juices slowly dripping out. He liked it and shook his head which made him laugh. "It's tangy" he laughed

"It must be hard to eat with paws. You're suppose to peal the skin off. It tastes slot better without the skin." Jewel smiled at held back a giggle as she began to peal her orange. "I should bring one back for you and you can eat it once you have hands again. If you want me to cone back with you. I don't have to. I'd understand if you wanted me to go somewhere else." quietly she began to eat the orange waiting for what he said. She wanted to go back with him. If he told her no. It would mean that she would have to find a house somewhere and a job, Jewel would even have to finish school.

Jahero placed the orange in his mouth and bit down spliting the orange in half. he spite it out and started to eat the insides of the orange. he smiled a wolf smile. "I can change into a human at anytime, i just turn out naked. Its hard to keep my clothing on. Im still working on that part" he said taking another mouth full of orange

With a slight smile Jewel watched him. "Hmmm...maybe you should just bring clothes with you so that once you change into human form you can get dressed. That's what I would do. I'd have to find someday to carry it or I'd put it somewhere in the woods so I could change if I wanted to. Don't you think that'd be a good idea?" She bit into a piece of orange and juice went squirting out everywhere. "Oranges are messy!" She exclaimed ignoring the fact he never answered her question/comment on going back with him.

jahero licked the orange off her face. "Well good thing i have you, ill just have to start doing that then" he said licking the stick orange the rest of the way off

"I'm glad you have me, too!" Jewel giggled slightly. "I'm glad I have you to protect me. I really never knew how dangerous the woods were until I met you. And I feel so much safer having you around. Besides the fact that the water in your cave thingy felt sooooooooo, nice! I missed having clean water and real soap. All the things that supposedly are natural soap don't work very well. If I had scissors I would have cut it off just so it didn't get so dirty."

Jahero looked at her and just smiled. this morning was going well

"Just wondering, but where did you get the fur for the bed things? They're soft and fuzzy like you." Jewel grinned and played with the hair on the side of his neck flattenin it the letting it pop back up and running her fingers through it "I love having a friend who's a werewolf!"

" its mine " jahero said simply " it's not old. its all from this year, and some of it is from other female wolves" he said a little fast.

"So you just cut your fur and make it into the bed? That's pretty cool. Do I want to know how you got it from other wolves? Isn't that kinda random, 'Hey can I have some of your fur?' I probably would have looked at you like you were crazy." Jewel giggled softly.

"I dont cut it off, it falls off. I get a new coat in the summer and winter" Jahero said standing and shaking his fur, little bits and pieace came off. " see" he said

After sneezing quietly she glared at him. "You got hair on my orange!" Jewel started to brush it of and throw the pieces of hair at him but they kept sticking to her. "Ewww! Jahero, don't ever shake fur off when I'm eating. Some of us unfurrie creatures don't like eating fur." She smirked and continued eat the orange.

Jahero's ears went down. he layed down "Im sorry" he said laying his head on his arms and looking away from her.

"Oh, I didn't mean it in a way like I was upset." She reached over and brushed the fur on his back. "Just 'cause I don't want to eat fur doesn't mean that I was really upset by it. You looked really cute and puffy when you just did that." Jewel smiled slightly and rested her chin on his fur.

Jahero smiled and licked her hand. "Thanks" he saidd with a smile " Are you all done eating?"

"Yes I'm finished." She grinned and reached back to pick up the other orange and tied it into her dress. "I'll save it for later. So you don't have to listen to me complain when i start getting starving again."

jahero laughed and stood up. he smiled. "where to next"

"Ummmm....Somewhere fun! I don't know where but maybe we can find a jungle gym type thing made of trees! We need to find you something to wear though. You can't climb trees as a wolf, and I have to think you wouldn't climb a jungle gym naked." Jewel giggle quickly getting up to her feet.

Jahero looked at her " Im not sure, i know i have clothing at my house but that's aways away. and i dont know were any jungle jims are" jahero said thinking about it
