Katie smiled a little." Good answer." She said, getting u and giving him a hug."Kay, see ya soon, I'm gonna go change." She said, turning and taking her bag. She left his house and ran back to hers." Hey Kiba, I'm going on another date with Cade so thank you so much for helping me!" She said, giving him a hug and then handing him a small bag of coins."I gotta go change." She said, running into the other room and changing into a nice dress. She brushed her hair and put on a jacket and put a bow in her hair.

Cade grabbed his swim trunks, and threw on some jeans and a t-shirt, with a long-sleeve button-up over it. He headed out the the lake, taking his time. It was only about two minutes away.

Katie looked at herself in the mirror and then walked out of the house with her bathing suit under her black and red dress. She took a short cut threw the woods and made it to the lake in no time, laying on one of the rocks and looking at the sky.

Cade stretched as he came to the lake. Smiling, he walked over to Katie and sat next to the rock she was on. "Comfy?" he laughed.

Katie sat up."Yep." She said with a small grin. "So are we swimming first?" She asked, eyeing him. |

"Oh! Ace, you scared me. I had just remembered that KAtie's birthday is comming up soon and I really need my ladder to get my best material to make her a dress. I would very much like your input on it once i have finished it." Levana had jumpped when she heard Ace call her name, it was almost as if she was going to come out her skin before she replied to him. She had several sheets of paper spread out with different designs on them as she was trying to find the perfect one for her, after all Katie was still her best friend even if they did not talk alot anymore. |
Cade took off his shirts and pants, then turned Katie around, so he could change into his swim trunks. He smiled and kissed her softly, then jumped into the lake, being sure to splash Katie.

Katie laughed and dropped her dress, throwing it onto the rock and revealing her black bikini bathing suit. She jumped in after him and swam up behind him, putting her hands on his shoulders."My birthday tomorrows gonna suck.." She said, wrinkling her nose at the thought of spending her birthday looking for Alex.
---------- Ace grinned and sat the latter up against the wall." Its finished." He said, then gave her a small smile." Since tomorrows her birthday i'll help you make the dress if you promise to go out with me once its done." He said, running his hand threw his hair and admiring her beauty." Katie paid Kiba for working so he should be coming back soon." |
Cade turned around and kissed her. "We'll find him, then we can spend the rest of the day together!" he smiled and lifted her out of the water, then back in.

She smiled a little and kissed back." So theres something i've been wondering.. we haven't really made 'us' official." She said, letting go of him and splashing him. She went under and swam up behind him to look at his back." Is it bothering you at all??" She asked, kissing his shoulder.

"My back's fine," he smiled and went under, swimming over to the waterfall, giving himself time to untie the bracelet from his wrist.

She sighed and swam after him." Cade.." She laughed, swimming towards the waterfall and then going under to get inside the waterfall."Cade?" She asked, sitting on one of the rocks. It was beautiful behind the waterfall since it was sort of cave like.

"Then i am sure Kiba is off running about trying to dind a store to put food in the house then. Which dress do you think she would like?" Levana said to him as she showed him the three designs on the papers that she had been drawing for her friend, they were all short dresses like Katie liked but all in different designs, but they were form fitting like the dolls that she so admired all the time. "Wait did you say go out? as in leave my shop?" she said to him as the rest of what he had said sunk into her head, a shocked look came over her face as she went slightly paler then she was already, make her face almost the same color as Katie's skin.

"The first one that was blue and black. She loves those colors." He said, sitting in a chair." Ya..like out to eat or something..like on a date?" He asked, looking at the floor."Whats wrong?" He asked since she was pale.

"Well....ummm.....I haven't been outside since Katie and Alex had started to date......I haven't even eatten in months." Levana confessed to him, color came back to her cheeks just as quickly as it had left. She looked away from him, moving towards her ladder to put it against the shelves that she needed to get the cloth down for Katie's dress. She dropped some light blue satin, black satin and some black leather before she climbed back down the ladder and picked them up. She walked towards the door way and stopped before she had to cross over to the outside and began to shake her material out, dust flew off of them, once she was done she went and spread them out on three tables. Looking at her design once more before she drew the pieces that she needed cut out of the cloths to piece the dress together. "I know it is stupid and sad and pathetic of me but Ande had been blowing her home up so much in that month that i got swamped and well there was really no point in me going out side anymore." she whispered as she pulled a mannequin out that looked like a porclien doll, it was exactly like Katie, except it didn't have a face, it was specially made for her by Cade so that she could make clothes for her friend.

Ace frowned."You do know that Alexander was going to ask you to marry him.." He said, eying her." Thats the reason Katie dumped him." He said, watching her work."Then what if I go and get us food and we have a date here..but you have to eat. " He said, sticking his tongue out at her." When Alex comes back things will get better."

"You must be kidding. Alex always talked about Katie when around me....he asked for my blessing to date her and to spend his life with her." Levana said to Ace as it was clear that she was getting upset, that was when her hand fell off and started to crawl away from her, she cussed under her breath before she looked around for where it had gotten to. "Alex is dust....he is never going to come back if he is still alive." she said to him, she was slightly crying as she gave up with finding her hand, she callasped in a chair and looked at the mannequin that was given to her, it was her replacement Katie, it kept her company when no one else did or when she didn't have time to be around other people. "why should i eat? I will just eventually turn to dust........so why not sooner then later. why would you want to date me?" she whispered to him, it was clear that the Alex topic had made her depressed and that it was going to take abit to get her out of that mood.

Cade smiled and appeared, sitting next to her, hiding the bracelet. Kissing her gently, he smiled more. "You know I love you, and I just wanted to ask..." he paused, taking out the bracelet he made. "Be mine?"

She smiled and nodded a little."I'd love to be yours." She said, putting out her wrist for him to put it on. She blushed."You know I love you too." She said, leaning over and giving him a kiss." Its beautiful." She said, admiring the bracelet." Well it looks like I owe you.." She said, lacing their fingers and eying him.

"Alex is dust. There is no need to find someone who isn't even undead anymore." Levana said to him, it was clear that she didn't want to think differently about where Alex is at, after all to her he was dust and that is just how he was going to stay to her, no matter what anyone said to her. "There are plenty of girls that are smart and pretty here...me I am the complete opposite of them." she said to him as she stood up to walk towards him, her hand had climbed up his pants leg and was sitting on his shoulder, taunting her, she stood a good few feet away, staring at her hand, trying to figure out how to get it and sew it back on so that she could bury her sorrow in her work once more.

Cade kissed her back and shook his head. "You owe me nothing, except your love," he smiled and held her hands delicately.

At the sound of voices Eve smiled noticing it was Harlin and Eilonwy. Wince the twins had moved in they were getting supplies from the two. "I'll be right out!" She neko yelled, pouring two quick bowls of chicken soup and heading out the kitchen. Placing the two bowls on the counter she smiled at the two. "Hey guys, Dawns napping right now. No telling when she'll be up." The girl shrugged and pushed the two bowls towards them. "On the house, as always." She said with a smile. Those two were always welcome to eat there for free. |
Katie sat on his lap and admired the bracelet on her wrist."Thank you for the bracelet." She said, kissing his neck." Where do you see yourself in five years?"She asked, brushing her bangs out of her face and looking him in the eyes.
Ace shook his head."He's not dead.." He sighed."Fine, if you don't want to go out then we don't have to. I'll just leave once your done.." He frowned. |
