Cade growled at Ace's question. "No, you fool, she'd worry far too much!" he said, not trying to be rude, but it was the truth. He didn't want her worrying about him. He only needed to worry about her.

Katie realized she left her bag at Cades and ran back to his house, knocking on the door."Sorry to annoy you I left my bag.." She said, opening the door and seeing him on the floor." What'd you do Ace?" She asked angrily, going over to Cade and smothering him with kisses." Are you okay? that looks really bad maybe I should stitch it up for you or something.." She then noticed the stain on the floor and grabbed a cloth from the other room and started to clean it.
"Sorry dude..its like she has a radar in her head or something.." He joked." Oh well, i'm going to Levanas..heres a dress for the doll." He said, handing it to him and leaving. He went to Levanas."Levana?" |
Cade threw a pillow at Ace, before he left, and looked to Katie. "I am fine, love.." he smiled and attempted to sit up. His back stayed seized. "I just need to rest a second," he reached down and took the rag from her hand. "My house, I clean it." He lifted her chin and kissed her softly.

She kissed back but shook her head." No, i'm cleaning." She said, taking the rug back and getting the stain off the floor. She then nudged him a little to look at his back." Just stay laid back.." She said, running her hand over his head." I'll go make you some soup for the fever, and i'll get you some ice for your back..and a bandage." She said, grabbing her bag and rumaging threw it for a bandage.

Cade sighed. She was so persistent. Laughing a bit, he coughed, and smiled at Katie. She was always so beautiful. He envied her. There she was, looking fine all the time, and then he. He was always ugly. He had a wretched face, odd body, and odd hair. How did he manage to get her? He had no clue.

She came back into the room with his soup that she had put herbs in and sat it on the coffee table and helped him sit up more." Eat up." She said, kissing his forehead and then wrapping gauze around his chest to cover his back, then sat an ice pack by it." Want me to get you anything else, love?" She asked, sitting down by him and admiring his looks again.

Finally sitting up, he made sure the towel stayed wrapped around him. He smiled, leaned over and kissed her. "Date tonight?" he asked, and sipped some of the soup from the bowl.

She smirked." Only if your better by then." She then blushed when she realized all he had was a towel." Want me to get you some clothes from your room?" She asked, kissing back and then brushed his hair out of his eyes."We could always just stay here and hang out if your still not feeling well." She said, running her hands over her dress to smooth out the wrinkles. She looked back at Cade." Oh yeah, want doll is that dress for?" She asked, referring to the doll dress Ace brought.

Cade shrugged. "Hell if I--" he stopped and groaned. He already HAD a dress for Katie's doll! "I am making a new doll, and he went to get the dress for me," he answered. I can always give Katie a doll, myself... he thought and smiled to himself. "And I will get dressed later, before we go to the lake. No sense in dirtying two pairs of clothes," he leaned over and kissed Katie's cheek. He had many things planned for the date. He wanted to make everything official. He made her a bracelet last night, and he was going to ask her to be his. He never really asked her during the first date, therefore it was unofficial.

"But we can only go if you get better." She said, giving him a kiss on the cheek and then nodding a little. "Lake huh? So I should bring swim wear? she asked putting her head back on the couch cushion and looking at him with a small smile." So what time is this wonderous date?" She asked, running her hand over his arm. She then dropped her hand and brushed her bangs out of her face.

Cade shrugged. "2:30-ish? What time is it now?" he glanced at the clock. "10...This town awakes far too early," he laughed and drank some more soup. "I am already feeling better, love," he reassured.

"Well once your backs better can we go early?" She pouted, she was excited to spend time with him. She looked at her watch."No hun, its 12." She said, remembering getting up at 10:30 to get Kiba."Good, I don't want you sick." She said, giving him a quick kiss on the neck and getting up."I was thinking..you know my birthdays tomorrow right?"

"12? My clock is wrong," he said, throwing a pen at it. "We will be able to go once my soup is gone, by back feels fine." He smiled to Katie and held her hand, sipping the soup.

"Kay." She said, laying her head back on the cushion and smiling a little." Good, " She said, lacing their fingers.She frowned since he completely ignored her birthday statement." So, why'd you pick the lake? She asked, staring at his chest with and small blush.

Cade smiled over to her. "Because of the small waterfall. It makes the lake beautiful," he explained. "I used to go there and sit for a while, think about you." He grinned like a goof and went back to sipping his soup.

She blushed and ran her hand over his chest." Really? I never though you'd be the day dreaming type." She smirked."And when you fell asleep earlier um.. what were you dreaming about?"

Cade stopped, and turned his head slowly, looking at Katie. "Nothing." He went back to the soup and chugged the rest, even though it was still boiling hot. It felt nice in his stomach.

"You can tell me." She grinned and then sat his empty bowl on the table and curled up next to him, running two of her fingers up his chest." Its not like you'll offend me, unless of course it was about another girl." She said, since she knew it involved a girl because of his 'hard' issue. She laid her head on his shoulder." If you don't tell me I won't go with you tonight.."

Cade picked Katie up gently, and sat her in his lap, so she was straddling him. Running his hands up her waist slowly, he smiled. "It involved you..." he started, teasingly. "Without all this..." He tugged at her collar, smirking.

Katie blushed brightly."Oh really? Well I only do that when married." Well her and Alexander had once since he had asked her to marry him."But maybe someday that dream of yours can come true." She winked and got off of him." Don't put your back in any stress." She said, kissing his cheek and then laying her head on his shoulder again." So when do you want to go?"

Cade huffed and crossed his arms, looking away from her, acting like a little kid.

She laughed a little and turned his head to her, giving him a small kiss." Just be patient." She said and sticking her tongue out at him." It depends on what you get me for my birthday." She said, brushing her bangs out of her face and looking towards the window."And tomorrow I'm going to get everyone together to look for Alex so Kiba can get home to his 'girlfriend' she said, looking at him.

Cade nodded, staying silent about the birthday thing. What if his present was not enough? What if she hated it, because it was just another doll?

She pulled him into a kiss." I'll still be with you just the whole dream thing will only happen if and when I'm ready." Sh said, giving him a hug." So when do you wanna go to the lake?"

Cade kissed back and smiled. "I would never force you," he said softly. Stretched his back, he stood up. "Meet me there in five minutes?" he asked.
