Setting

Alice has taken her spot at a local dinner in philadelphia after having one of her veisons again. Only this time she had one about the strange and quite man that she is meant to be with. She knows he has been wandering for a while depressed and needs her as she needs him. Now all she has to do is wait.

Jasper walked threw the woods. It felt like years maybe even longer as he walked. Everything mixed together he couldn't tell one day from another anymore and he couldn't stop not now not never if he did she would find him. He had escaped her and the army he was a deserter now. The few memories he did have of his life disturbed him. It seemed all he could remember was his thirst and the things he had done as a vampire. No one had ever said that the memories would last forever and he had never understood how lonely it could be to be a immortal. When he became aware of his sinces he some how found himself in a dinner how strange he thought. He didn't remember how he got there to him just seconds ago he was on the battle field and now here he was in the modern error. Time was a mystery to him now since he didn't understand it or how the laps of it could make him feel so dead. He wandered how long he had been like this a soulless walking body with no purpose just walking threw time not finding any life within himself or the world about him. How long had he been travailing like this.

Alice was sitting in the dinner listening to the music as she waited for him. She was getting tired of waiting and wanted to have him in front of her already.She watched as the humans sang along to the music and ate there food. They seemed so happy it made her frown a bit that she did not have such memories of being happy as these humans are now.... She gazed up at the clock it was almost 6 in the evening she began to wonder if he would ever show up.....had her vision been wrong.....She lowered her gaze onto the table in front of her as she hopped for him to walk in threw the doors at any moment.

Jasper open the door to the dinner as he walked in feeling even more out of place. He felt like a relic as he walked in walking to the counter. All he smelt was humans not even now did they really make him want them. Their sent all mixed together now after years all smelling alike it was no longer a delight to feed up on them it was a chore that he had to do. It was rather sicking how happy and merry humans always seemed to be now days. They didn't seem to remember all the sadness and pain that got them to where they where today. He knew in his mind he was living in the past but it would seem that something from the past would be remember by these humans but nothing never was except in history books and only then on part of the story.

Alice felt a strong sense of relief when she saw Jasper walk threw the door. She waited for him to sit down someplace so she could go and speak with him. Alice slowly rose from her seat and walked over to where he was sitting. In here mind she had no idea how she should sound or what she should say? So she said the first thing that came into her head. She sat next to him turned towards him and said " "You kept me waiting long enough." She said as she gazed into his eyes.

Jasper shifted his eyes as he heard a soft voice beside him. He gave the beautiful girl who spoke to him a bow. "I'm sorry, ma'am." He said as he rose his head unable to look away from her. She was like nothing he had ever laid eyes on before. For once he felt almost alive again. She was amazing and if he had known she had been waiting for him he would have came sooner for her. He knew he shouldn't feel this way about some one he didn't know but he did and she wasn't a dream. She was real she made everything disappear and it was only him and her. He had longed for the world to fade for so long and with her it did.

Alice smiled at him happily as she held out her hand to him. She did not find reason to speak anymore she felt as if everything that she needed to tell him was written on the palm of her hand. She waited to see if he would take her hand hopefully like in her visions he would. She could not wait for him to do so she knew he needed her help he was suffering and she had come to save him just like he had come to save her.

Jasper found himself taking the girl's hand with out a thought or hesitation as he held it gently. His eyes where locked with her's. He knew what her heart was saying with out her lips needing to move just as she knew what his was saying with out him speaking. She was his angel the light he needed to find his way out of the darkness. He knew for some reason that he was meant to be with her to love and protect her and that he would. He would follow her to the ends of the earth and that would be fine with him.

Alice was very happy to see that he had taken her hand. She led him out of the dinner she led him far from there she finally turned towards him. " I am Alice... I know who you are because I can see the future....I know your name is Jasper...and that you were going to be in the dinner today....I knew we were supposed to meet.....we are meant to have a strong bond " She said she would have been blushing if she were human. " We must find a Vampire by the name of Carlise he is a very old vampire...and we will live with him" She hopped she would not drive him crazy with all of this information that she was giving him.

Jasper just smiled at Alice as he lessened to her. She was rather cute like this he thought to himself as he waited for her to finish before he spoke giving her the respect he deserved. "T-thank you Ma'am...Alice. Where you go I will go as well." He said not needing anything else said between them. He believe Alice and something told him she was right about every thing. He had never had such a bond with any one and he felt alive and hope for once since becoming this dead creator that roamed the land.

Alice smiled " Then lets be on our way....." She stated as she continued to hold his hand in hers. They traveled for a while untill the ended up in the country side of Pennsylvanian. She saw that he had hints of black in his eyes " So you need to feed?" She asked him wondering she knew he feed on humans but she knew she could help him change his mind.

Jasper kept quite as he felt bad for having the urge to feed. He always had been ashamed of how he feed and probable always would. "Yes there is a small group in the field up ahead of us. They shouldn't be hard to quickly over power and feed up on." He said as if it was a normal thing for him. It had been a long time since he had been with another vampire and the company was rather welcomed and a change that he liked.

Alice looked at Jasper " There is another way........You do not need to feed on humans......we can feed on animals in stead..."
She stated as she looked at him. " You can do it you will be able to....I know it you are strong enough to stop...just think of children thats what I do...Children innocent and happy....I would never harm them....thats how you must view all humans.....as children that will help keep your control I know it is not easy "
