Audrey laughed and said "You'd think it's a wonderful experience but really it's terrifying. If you don't flap you're wigs just right you'll fall. When you're trying to land you have to stop flapping you're wings at the right time, if you don't you'll crash or you'll land on you're face. Trust me theres a number of things that if you don't do right you'll ether crash and burn or you'll die. So as you can see it's not easy.". Audrey sighed and took a sip of her water.

"Oh, but, what about when your flying, are the sites you see amazing?" he asked. "I bet I could use the elements to help me fly, or if not fly then hover, I figure, that I can teach myself to do that, and knowing that would open up going to so mny places that I couldn't, and of course, I like danger." he added, then wished he hadn't, he didn't want to scare Audrey away.

Audrey looked at Angel and said "Yes the sites are amazing. You should see the way a sunset looks like when you're flying. Mountains look gorgeous when you fly over them. Waterfalls look even prettier when you fly over them.". When Audrey heard Angel say he likes danger she smiled and said "I like danger too.".

"Sounds wonderful, and worth getting the hang of flying, I might use fire for that one." he said. "Or maybe darkness." he said trying to figure out which element would the best for flying. "Would you make sure I don't kill myself trying to figure out how to use my ability to fly?" he asked.

Audrey laughed and said "Yeah I'll make sure you don't kill you're self. I'll give you a little advice, do not use dark power to fly. Trust me it doesn't work. I've tried using dark power to fly and it almost killed me. That was a bad day.". Audrey shuddered.

Inuyami waited in the cornor of the kitchen, her cake had finished baking and was now on a cooling rack. She fanned the cake with a small paddle fan and when it was cool enough she frosted it with hand-made frosting and brought it out to the dining hall and set in in the middle of the table. Dyed with a bit of food coloring, the cake was pink with strawberries on the top in a decorative design.
"It's just plain cake but it should be good." Inuyami said hoping she wasn't out of line. She looked at Kiba to see if he'd approve of how she was helping out. After all, if she was going to be a burden on the ship, she hopped she could help in someway. |
"Thanks, and thanks for that advise, it's helpful, now, which element would you advise I use?" he asked curiously. Be kind of a pyro himself, he'd choose fire, it would work, as long as it's not raining.

Audrey looked at Angel and said "You're welcome. Well...I think water would work. I've never used water before so I don't know.". Audrey was thinking of different elements that would work. "I think water or fire would work nicely." she said.

"Cool, I shall work on useing those two, to try them out when I have free time then, I'm sure I'll have plenty of time to perfect the technique." He smiled at the thought of being able to fly and see things from a different perspective

Audrey smiled and said "Good luck Angel. I hope you have fun.". Audrey patted him on the back, but then she wished she didn't. "Sorry." Audrey said. 'I'm an idiot...'.

"It's okay." inside his body responded in a way strange to him. He didn't know what it was, but he alos didn't interact with people very much either. "Your not an idoit." he contridicted. "I can guess what people are guessing in case you don't remember me telling you that on the ship earlier. He wished he could just tell her how he was begining to feel about her, but he didn't want to scare her with that.

"I forgot about that." Audrey replied 'I'm going to have to remember that...'. Audrey put some more food on her plate , she was still hungry. "I should' have put some more rosemary on the chicken." she mumbled to herself. 'I put to much salt on the vegetables...'.

"I'm sure you will, I don't know why, but I can guess your thoughts to the point where it almost is mind reading, strange." he said smiling at the new mystery to find the answer to. "I'm sure you did fine on the food." 'Why is it that I so attuned to her thoughts, are we old souls that were once together?' he pondered this with an intent to find out.

Audrey smiled and said "Maybe you are a mind reader. I wish I could read minds. It be pretty handy in battle.". Audrey watched kiba inhale his food. "Yeah I think I did a good job cooking. I think kiba agrees with me." Audrey said.

Verah finished her food quietly, not speaking much. Her shoulder began to ache as she had been standing still. Rising from the table she picked up her plate and forced smiled to them. "Excuse me." The woman placed the plate on the counter before heading back to her room. Wincing a bit she felt her shoulder bandage a bit as she sat on the bed.

"No, it's not as easy with other people, I mean, I'm not saying it's not possible, but, I'm saying that I think it's because for some reason I'm well attuned to your thoughts." he explained his theory. "You know, they say that when old souls meet each other in a new life, they're thoughts are easy to guess at for each other." he blushed a bit, maybe that was the case with them, who knows.

Audrey looked at angel and said "I've herd that before...but someone told me that it was just a story. I personally thought it might be true.". 'When I meat angel earlier I felt like I had meat him before....'. "Past lives..." Audrey mumbled. She looked at angel for a for a moment. When Audrey realized she was staring at him she said "Sorry I didn't mean to stare at you.".

LEvana stood up quickly, leaving her dirty dishes in the sink as Kiba placed his in the sink also, following after the Captain like a lost puppy as they made thier way towards the deck. She changed the course that they were on towards the nearest floating isle so that they could pick up a few more things. Kiba went about the ship and got everything ready for them to dock as the pulled up into the port.

"It's okay, really, I know it's true, I've seen it happen with friends of mine." he said. "Two of my friends found strangers who they thought they knew from somewhere, and they're happy with those people, actually, both couples live together, kind of weird but it's true." He started to look into her eyes trying to make it look like he was spacing out staring at the wall behind her, probably didn't work though.

Verah shifted and shook her fur a bit, pawing at an itch on her ear. Letting out a quiet howl of pain as she moved her shoulder. Licking at it gently she curled up on her bed and whimpered a bit. The wound was hurting more and she wasnt sure if it was cause of the medicine or something else. The wolf was a white furball on the bed as she napped.

Audrey laughed and said "That sound like a fairy tale. My life has definitely not been a fairy tale. It's more like a a story you heard once and you don't want to hear it again.". Audrey noticed Angel looking into her eyes, she looked at his. Audrey smiled a little bit.

"I'm not lying, it's true, sure they have difficulties, but who doesn't?" he said still staring into her eyes, and seeing that underneath the bullshit shes been through she still has a good kind soul. And he liked the color of her eyes, they are very pretty.
