Selena looks over at him "That's kinda weird, I never heard of a exterminator that travels the world" she says brushing her bangs out of her eyes since the window was down "But he seems like a very cool person, is he like a father to you?"

Thez nodded saying, "Yeah, he adopted me when I was 5 and has brought me up since then. He's home schooled me and taught me the tricks of the trade when he saw I had a natural physical talent."

"Oh really?" Selena says laying her chin on her palm as she leans onto the arm rest "What kind of talents?"

"Ya know, athletic skill, muscled, preferably lean muscle. You also need a sharp mind though I'm a bit lax in that area," Thez gave a sideways grin with the last statement before continuing, "Yeah, you need to be really physical to take care of the stuff I take care of."

Selena nods and looks out the window and sees the park up ahead "Hey we're here" she says turning back to him. She looked at the bandages on him and thought it was kinda weird that he got all of those cuts in bruises but she really didn't feel like asking questions again.

Thez pulled over and got out of the car, quickly running around it to open the door for her saying, "Your carriage has arrived at its destination ms."

Selena giggles and steps out of the car "Thank you my kind sir"

Thez gives a half bow as he closes the door once she's out and asks, "So, what do you wanna do? Just walk around or something?" <SHIT! I forgot to compliment her outfit!>

"Sure, there's a lake just down the path" She says pointing to a path "We could go there and watch the ducks" She says as she starts walking. 'Weird...he didn't say anything about my outfit'

<Should I say something now at this point or would I seem like a goob? ARGH! Damn the order for making me so inept at dealing with girls. Why are the only other girls I know either wrinkly monster huntresses or sexy, but evil monsters?> Thez grinned saying, "Sure, that sounds great."

Selena walks beside him and looks up when a flower falls into her hair and she pulls it out "Wow this is a pretty flower"

Thez nods saying, "Yeah, but nowhere near as pretty as you Selena." <Woot, nice save me!>

Selena blushes softly "Thanks" she says twirling the flower between her fingers.

Thez continued walking in silence, enjoying her company and thinking, <I should probably let her start a conversation, find out what she digs and stuff.>

Selena looks over at him "So what do you like to do when you're not working?" she says softly as her fingers brushes against his hand.

Thez softly takes hold of her hand, hoping that she wouldn't mind his gauze bound knuckles and said, "Well, I like to play at arcades or go see movies if I'm in a city, but when I'm in smaller places like here I like going around, enjoy the scenery."

Selena smiles when he grabs her hand, letting him hold it "Now I see why you wanted to go there" she says softly seeing the lake ahead "Aww its a baby duck"

Thez smiled at her happy smile on seeing the duck and said, "Yeah, this place is pretty great, especially this lake."

Selena nods and kneels down infront of the duck "Yea I would always come here when I was a kid"

Thez kneeled down saying, "I can see why. It must be kinda nice to stay in one place for longer than a month at the most."

Selena pets the duck with one of her fingers and looks over at him "Yea, I've moved a lot when I was young"

Thez moved from a kneeling position to a sitting one and asked, "How many times have you moved?"

Selena sits down beside him folding her legs under her "About 3 times and all long distances" she says flipping her hair over her shoulder before looking at him.

Thez chuckled saying, "I lived in New York up to age 15 and in the two years since the padre and I have moved 36 times. The longest I've lived somewhere other than New York was Racine, WI and that was because I was in the hospital after a job. Umm, really bad and big rats... a lot of them too." <Stupid sledgehammer wielding necromancer and stupid zombies, I should've punched the mage harder and right in the nuts!>

watching the baby duck go off to its family and then go into the lake "I really don't think I would be able to do that, moving so much you wouldn't be able to make friends."
