the elders came up behind mars and lex "humans pease put her down" the tiger one said. he saw that layla was neko and changed since the cover had been blown. "we are the nekos we have lived below you humans for many years. her fatheris the one that exposed us please give her back to us and we will be on our way back" he said peacfully. the two humans continued to put layla in the van and then they said. "no we are going to study her and run some test" the tall one said with a smirk "if she surivives you can have her back you freaks" the stubby one said.

Mars jumped out from behind Lex. "LET HER GO NOW OR ELS I'LL KILL YOU!" Mars hissed. Mars bared her fangs at the man holding Layla and tackled him. Mars extended her claws and stuck them in the guys eyes and ripped them out. Then she bit the mans neck and ripped some skin off.

the other man freaked out by what happened to his friend dropped layla and jumped in the van and drove away. the crowd gasped. "mars get layla and hurry we need to close the cave " one of the elders said running in the cave.

Lex pulled mars off of the man and turned, takeing the blow of a dart.

Mars looked at Lex and said "Oh my god, lex are you okay?". Mars grabbed the dart and took it out quickly. Mars grabbed Layla and Lex and ran to the cave.

the elders let the three get in first then they went in and covered up the tunnel as the walked down it.

Lex stumbled into the cave. "I'll be fine. Just as long as your...not...hurt" Lex then fell asleep from the dart.

"this isnt good they will be back and in bigger numbers.....damn diabolus i told him we wernt ready for war.....but if it comes ot e will have no chocie but ot fight back"looks at lexswound"its just a tranq nothing major"

layla started to move and woke up from the dart. she shook her head "what happened" she asked

"im going to kill diabolus"picks up one of the guns the humans droped"these are primitave weapons but they should prove useful to the smiths"

"I'm okay Lex don't worry about me. Lex you promised you wouldn't die, I'm holding you to that...". Mars's face had a stream of tears coming down.

layla stood up and felt a little dizzy from the dart. "i said it once and ill say it again i hate humans" layla said still a little dizzy. "wheres rai" she said

Mars whipped the blood off her mouth and said "humans taste like dirt and rocks. I think Rai's somewhere in the cave".

Lex had dreams about running around as a wolf. The effects of the dart wore off and he opend his eyes to Mars. "Hey"

Mars smiled when she saw Lex open his eyes. "I'm glad you're okay Lex."

layla walked with them in the cave and entered neko city again

Mars smiled and said "Okay. Lets go". When they arrived at mars's house she she plopped on the couch and said "Welcome to my home.."
