"To the left...No, to the right...Up a bit...actually I take that back down a bit...Perfect." Leon said with a large smile as his painting was hung on the wall of the art gallery. The people hanging it muttered something about 'superficial painters, always needing it this way or that' and complaining. To them they placed it in the same spot before but Leon saw the difference one of the lights bounced off the painting just a fraction of a bit different and it made the world of difference but of course these non artistic nobodies would never be able to see it.

He walked down the hallway his converse clicking against the white tiled floor. He loved this gallery it was his favorite around the whole entire city. With its white floor, white walls, and modern architecture. To be featured here was an honor, one Leon was invited back for more then once. Though most of his art never left the bedroom, quite literally, alot of his portriats were quite infamous around the city area and the pictures of his other art sold at high prices.

In another hour these walls would be full of people and some of them would be fakes not able to see the true talent of the artist. But there would be ones that could and those were the ones Leon did not mind talking too. He flipped some black hair out of his green eyes. Plus he was scouting, for his next perfect model, for his next perfect project.

Ren was no painter, perfectionist, or artist but he knew pretty well what's good from what's bad. At least, that's the feedback he got from the people he'd criticized and become better by time. He was from the country so stepping into the city was something very new to him, at least until he'd gotten into a university through a scholarship and got a place through a company funding him for his living expenses. The people around him were bold, outspoken, and some very rude. He, on the other hand, was conservative, well-mannered and even respectful to his elders. Some had thought he was a rich kid but he was far from that. His grades were more than average and he had a thing for taking pictures ever since he'd gotten ahold of a DLSR.

Sometimes, he worked part-time for a newspaper firm. Well, most of what he did was submit the pictures and when they liked some, they'd pay him. Which could probably be the reason why he was sitting on the stairs of a gallery that was going to open up. Another reason why he was here and intent on taking pictures was because he wanted to steal some pictures of its painter, Leon. He's been watching his works online and had noticed that he's pretty well-known but not a lot sees his works.

The dyed reddish-brown haired male sighed for the umpteenth time. But, because he was half British and half Asian, he wouldn't be even sure if he'd catch the attention of Leon. He didn't know what the guy likes but he was sure about one thing. He'd get one of his paintings one of these days. When he'd earn more money. "I'm excited to see his works," he heard someone say, perhaps a few steps higher than where he was seated. "Yeah, his website don't post much of his paintings. But, I'm still wondering what exactly is his style? Contemporary?"

Wannabe artists or artist students? he asked himself as he'd gotten up to his feet. He stood at about the height of five six, with light brown eyes, Western-slash-Eastern look, and thin lips that are just usually pink whatever he'd do with them. He had great complexion, slightly yellowish to white, and was dressed rather well. Metrosexual. With the help of his buddies who're in the same major as he is, Architecture, they've turned him from his country boy, simple look to a simple yet more elegant look. As of the moment, he was wearing a tank top, a suit coat over that, slacks, and a pair of black shoes to make himself look more formal. He was unaware of the eyes of people turning his way but he paid them no mind. In fact, he was more interested in the structure of the building and its designs. The walls seem to be old but they still held that air that would enthrall any student or professional who knew architecture.

It's no wonder it's the best in the city. I'm glad I didn't pass up this opportunity to see the building and to catch a picture of Leon, hopefully.

It was another ten minutes before the doors opened and the quiet sanctuary would turn into a hustle and bustle. The only people in the building where the other artists also featured and the workers. He took the time to walk around and admire some of the other works of arts. Some people saw Leon as conceited but he didn't think of himself as so, he appreciated art for what it was and it didn't matter who's name was on the bottom. As long as it made a connection with you, it had done its purpose. He heard the doors open and the echo of shoes on the tile, whispers carried on the still air over to him and any personal moments with the art disappeared. Leon sighed and tugged on the black corduroy jacket he was wearing unlike the people who went to these events he didn't feel the need to dress up any more then he normally did. A clean white v-neck shirt underneath the jacket, clean skinny jeans, and a blue scarf for a splash of color. He was often mistaken for being gay a simple misconception one he didn't mind seeing that he was bisexual and slept with plenty of women and men, best of both worlds as he saw it.

Soon enough people were moving around him some of them looked at him like he was the one who looked out of place and he couldn't help but chuckle to himself. Other's tried to engage in what they thought was an intellectual artist conversation and he couldn't help but keep himself from rolling his green eyes instead forcing himself to smile and nod and be polite. He was offered money for pieces and he declined most of them. Sure he sold a lot of his art, that was his income, but he didn't paint just for money, he painted so people could enjoy his art and if a single person owned a portrait not everyone could share it.

Leon excused himself from the conversation he had been dragged into and went to the table where small appetizer and drinks were set out. He took a glass of champagne for the waiter that offered it and sipped it lightly, one nice thing about these gigs is you got free alcohol. His green eyes scanned the people their still looking for that perfect someone, he was starting to give up hope.

When the doors opened, it was a majestic sight or so it seemed to Ren. He quickly scooped up his camera, took a shot and made sure to keep out of the way of the long line so he wouldn't interfere with those who'd waited for a long while. Though he was one of the latter people, he entered the place last to talk with the curator who was standing by the doorway and ask if he could take pictures. Once he was given a go signal, the architecture student smiled and said, "You wouldn't mind, either, if I take a picture of you with your building when you aren't too busy, sir?" The curator looked pleased and he nodded at the offer before he attended to those who needed assistance. Though the curator had hired a few personnels, he didn't want to just be left behind it seems. Ren found his respect for the man there.

The flashes disturbed the people so he fiddled with the settings to make use of the light that came through from the windows and the glass ceilings. Now, his pictures looked better. He was rather surprised to see some other paintings that wasn't Leon's and he'd found them rather beautiful. A mixed art concept but still lacking in foundations. They were all good, though. Tilting his head back as he'd found his gaze captured by the simple looking man standing by the table and drinking champagne. He was a beautiful man and he couldn't help but find himself taking a few pictures, hoping to go by unnoticed by the stranger as of that moment. It'd ruin the picture if he caught his attention. When he was satisfied by the few pictures he took, he came over and lightly tapped the man's shoulder.

"I was hearing around a certain person dressed like this was called Leon," he started as he'd smiled handsomely and held out his hand for a handshake if Leon was the type to do that. If he isn't, then... he'd be embarrassed to be putting his hand out like this in the open, "I'm Ren Shelton, an architecture student down at N University. I hope you didn't mind me taking some of your paintings in pictures, some with people and some with just it, Mr. Leon."

((Hey sorry for taking forever I thought I had already posted a reply but I guess not >.< So now I have to retype one since I don't exactly remember the old one lol))

Leon noticed that people's eyes found their way to his and he'd look away quickly hoping they wouldn't come up for a conversation. His patience for conversing and worn thin even though he forced a smile on his face and a kept a respectful attitude. He sipped at the champagne in his glass wishing the show was over, he had promised the owner of the gallery, since he was a good friend of Leon's (an ex lover to be exact), that he would make a personal appearance and stay for the entire show. Though now he was regretting his agreement.

The dark haired male felt a tap on his shoulder and he turned around to come face to face with a younger male, maybe a few years younger than Leon himself. The male was stunning to say the least, his complexion was absolutely gorgeous. His kin was flawless and was an exotic mix of European and Asian decent, an uncommon mixture but one that flattered this male well. Leon let his green eyes quickly travel down from the male's face to his toes and back up again to meet the other's brown eyes. They weren't a murky brown but a gorgeous stunning light brown that seemed to glow off, though it was probably just the lighting in the gallery.

"Hello." Leon said a smile stretching across his face showing the off his white teeth. He took the hand that was offered. "Call me Leon. It is nice to make your acquittance." He answered politely pulling his hand back and letting fall to his side once again. "Well..." he stated, "First off thank you for asking for my permission first, but I rarely ever let people take pictures of my work..." he paused his eyes looking up and down the male again as he pursed his lip. This was the best model he'd seen so far all day, his fingers itched to see how the colors would look against his skin."How about we make a deal Ren?" He said. "Currently I am looking for a model for another art project I want to do and you have defiantly caught my eye. I will allow you to take as many pictures as you want if you agree to model for me. Of course you'll also be paid for your time." he said with another smile hoping the male would agree. Ren was the best thing he had seen all day nad he didn't want to lose his next master piece.

Ren noticed the way Leon was staring at him and he idly wondered if he'd passed his standards or not. If not, then that'd be a shame 'cause he'll have to think of some other way to catch his attention. If yes... His thoughts trailed off at the other moving that gaze of his from his shoes back up to his eyes. It startled him a moment and his heart skipped a beat at those clear green eyes already reflecting what Ren would have guessed was interest.

His knew his guess was right moment Leon had smiled and took his hand for a handshake. Even more when he'd seen him look up and down at him a second time and said those words. I didn't think I'd be to his standards, he thought silently before he'd found himself laughing quietly and nodding his head. "If it gets me to have a copy of your works," he trailed off as he continued on his thoughts, And pictures of you...

"I don't mind at all." If he could earn extra in this part-time job then, he might as well take it. It could help him with money matters too. Ren showed off his white teeth as well as he'd smiled and took out his business card. "Then, do call me any time when you need me, Mis- ah... right. Leon." He held it out to him. "I hope you don't mind, too, I took a picture of you before I approached you."At that moment, he'd raised his camera and took a picture of Leon without warning him. There was no flash so only a click from the camera could be heard.

"I can see how your artworks reflect your view in life."
