This roleplay is reserved for 0ri0n83 and Alternativechic
Name: Roy Tanero
Age: 20
Race: Human
Appearance:
About : Roy had always seemed really mature for his age. Even if he was the rebellious type, dropping out of school and such, he had always seemed to be missing something in his life. Was it romance? maybe so. His parents had always told him that having romance with the same gender was sinful and not so great. He had always thought of what it would be like if he did have that romance though; he never really liked girls, just not his sort of type...
*****
Roy had gone down to the usual park he went to on saturdays. It was a quiet and peacefull in the afternoon. And also a place where maybe, just maybe, he would meet the one. He made a soft sigh. If he kept thinking about, it just meant he was too desperate. The right one would come sooner or later, and he would know when he sees it. He found a wooden bench and sat on it, took out his purple iPod and put on "Good Girls Go Bad" by Cobra Starship. That was one of his favorite bands; always made him content on a nice day like this.
He took notice at the pretty surroundings. The trees had some pink flowers about to bloom and the dogs were happily being walked by their owners. He closed his eyes and listened to his music, loving the atmosphere of this place.
((Sorry if he's a bit young. I can make him older if you want x]))

Name: Kai Kudo
Age: 21
Race:Human
About : Kai was born into an affluent family where he was supposed to get married to someone of equal status who was a female. He didn't particularly like being forced into a marriage with a neighboring girl, who was head over heels for him. Quite frankly he doesn't like girls that much period. He has a controlling personality, but he is not over domineering. He is like this due to the fact that he was not in control of his life at all until he turned 18, when he had limited freedom to choose what he wanted to do.
Appearance:
((His age is fine. He is an adult, a young adult, someone that probably had that much experience with romance. It's all good)).
Kai went running down the road to the park that was near his house. He always went here when he needed to get away from the main house. Running to the park was his only solace, and it wasn't even a good one either. Most of the park was built and donated by his family to the city where he lived. In the middle of the lake there was an outcrop of land that was connected by a single wooden bridge. This was his favorite place to go when he needed to calm his nerves. Wiping some tears out of his eyes he went from a run to a walk.
As he continued to walk he walked past people walking their dogs, to people sitting on the grass admiring the blooming trees, and even the benches where there were kissing couples. He grimaced at that. They all looked so happy. It was disgustingly sweet. Shaking his head, he knew that he was just jealous. Why couldn't he have something like that? Wiping his eye with his sleeve he managed to knock his glasses off his face onto the ground. Cursing to himself he dropped to the ground as he immediatly began to look for them. He was completely unaware of the boy that was sitting on the bench in front of him.

((Alright, that's good.))
Pretty soon after Roy had finished listening to two songs, a guy had gone down to look for something. His vision was clearing after hearing something fall. From his angle, the boy was really handsome, fit, and possibly around his age. His nice, dark hair was messy, yet attractive at the same time. He had feelings for this boy, even at first glance. Was this what they called, love at first sight? His parents would not like this, at all. They thought loving the same sex was sinful and not the way God would of wanted. He was an atheist, so it didn't really matter what his parents said. He glanced down under the becnh he was sitting on and noticed a pair of thin glasses half on the grass and half on the cement. He crouched down and picked them up, handing them to the boy.
"Are these yours?" He smiled. Roy mentally kept his fingers crossed that he would see this guy again, and that this won't be the last of him.

Kai was in a panic when he lost his glasses. He was never anywhere without his glasses, and he didn't use contacts because his eyes were very sensitive to them. He was desperately looking form them when he heard a figure above him ask," Are these yours?" Kai looked up and he saw the most gorgeous person he had ever seen in his life. The male in front of him was a bit on the skinny side, but he was well muscled. He also had the deepest colored chestnut eyes he had ever seen, and a bunch of soft light brown colored spikes as hair. He just wanted to take his hands and run it through it to see just how soft they really were.
If he hadn't known better he might have thought that his heart stopped when he gazed into the other's eyes.. Shifting his gaze to the ground made it a lot easier to talk to the other person. Clearing his throat he said Actually, yes, they are. Sorry for troubling you." Taking the glasses that the boy was holding out to him, he sat on the bench, and he then began cleaning them and inspecting them for scratches. The glasses he had were designer glasses, that his father insisted on buying him. Placing the glasses back over his eyes, everything came into clear focus again including the others face. The boy in front of him had the smile and the face of an angel. He felt himself get warm in the face as he turned away. "Thanks again. I sort of have to go though so see you again." He got up and hastily and began heading towards the way that he had come. He didn't know if would ever see him again, he hoped that he would, but what if his parents figured out? They would not be pleased at all. He didn't know what he was going to do, so all he was continue to walk faster.

Before Roy could say anything, the tall, buff and handsome stranger was gone. His heart skipped a beat when he gazed into his beautiful eyes, as if everything went blank in his mind and surroundings, and all he wanted to do was be held against in his strong arms. Please don't let this be the last time I see you, stranger. He silently thought to himself Oh, please. Something in his back pocket vibrated. Roy took it out and realised that it was his mom texting him to get some things for him in the shops. She was always forgetfull when it came to buying food and such. Well, he didn't have much to do; he did drop out of school years ago. He let out another sigh, got up from his bench and glanced at where the stranger was sitting. Oh, how he wished he was there right now.
Roy shook his head violently. He should stop thinking of such nonsense. The likelyhood of seeing this boy again was slim to none. Where else has he seen him? Nowhere. It was the simple and clear answer. He popped back on his maroon headphones and walked to the direction of the supermarket. He always had some pocket money, so it was no big deal for him. Once he had everything his mom needed, he silently, head down, walked to the next store he needed to get to, some sort of gift shop called Ever Light.

((I am trying to get them to meet again, but there are some time issues. I tried to fix most of them, but there are problems like Kai already being at the store before Roy gets there so they meet a second time. My solution was he ran the rest of the way home, and got driven to his job. Which are both much faster than walking))
Kai hastily walked back to his manor of a house up the driveway and through the front doors. He banged them open loudly to see a taller gentleman in a suit. He was the family butler, Sebastian. "Oh, young sir" said Sebastian. "I was just about to go and call you. Your father is very angry as it is, and I doubt you would want him to figure out that you missed work as well." Kai hated his job even more than he hated the restrictions his parents put on him. He worked at small knick knack store called Ever Light. His father said that in life it was best that you earned your own money, so he basically forced him to get a job there. Trudging into his room he changed into his work clothes which consisted of a pair of black pants and a blue and white work shirt. He fastened his name tag on, and grimaced as he looked at himself in the mirror. "You're a piece of work aren't you, mister?" he asked himself. Walking back down the stairs he walked through the front doors again. There was car waiting for him in the driving circle in the front of his house. Getting into the passenger side of the car Sebastian drove off to Ever Light.
He was dropped off outside of the store. "I will be back to pick you up after your shift is over with," said Sebastian as he rolled up the window and sped back towards the manor. Kai walked in through the doors, and was greeted by one of the other sales clerks. "I am here to relieve you, sir. Have a nice day," he said with a grin. Kai walked behind the counter where he worked as a cashier and as a greeter. The door opened as the automatic bell rang. Looking up Kai began to say," Hello sir, welcome to Ever Light," when the words got caught in his throat. It was the same guy from the park. Kai suddenly looked away, excused himself, and went into the back room which served as a break room. He started to pace, and as he paced he thought," Why is he here of all places? Why is he everywhere I am?"

((Yeah, I wasn't sure how they were going to meet again either, but didn't want Roy to be all "stalker-y" and go to his manor and such, so i got him in the shops.))
Roy had already reached Ever Light and was walking into the door. He had heard a familiar voice to the left say "Hello, sir, welcome to Ever Light.", where the cashiers stood. After that, he noticed a figure in uniform dash off into another room that stated "Employees Only". The voice was familiar, but not that familiar to recognise who it belonged to. He knew it was none of his family friends because they thought a store like this was stupid. He knew no one in his family or any of his best friends that worked in Ever Light, so why did the voice sound so familiar? He resisted the urge to go into the restricted room. He could not get in trouble with the police and his parents again. Even if this was something minor, Roy tried to stay out of trouble for the sake of...everyone.
He pretended that nothing happened and walked off to the direction where the candles and candle sticks were; His parents were hosting some party, and a load of big, boss-like people are coming to see if they wanted to employ his dad, who had been looking for a job after losing his in a bank that had been going down recently. He was told to stay out of the way, don't talk when needed not, and don't stay stupid things.
((I thought, maybe Kai's father went to this party as a possible employer and maybe brang his son along. That way they don't have to be in the same places to see each other again.))

Kai peeked out from behind the door to the break room as he looked out towards the store floor. He was about to leave the break room when one of the other employees walked in and gave him an odd look. "What are you doing?" asked the other employee. "I dropped someting," lied Kai as he pretended to look for something on the ground. Pretending that he had found whatever he was looking for he walked out to the store floor and back behind the counter.
He got a text message from his father telling him, not asking, him that he was to go to a party that was being hosted by the Tanero family when he was sitting behind the counter reading a magazine. It was getting less and less busy with the passing hours as it was getting closer and closer to closing time. The instore P.A. system said," We are closing in 30 minutes. Please bring all purchases and returns to the front counter. I repeat we are closing in 30 minutes. Please bring all purchases and returns to the front counter." Kai looked up as he stood up from his seat. It was going to get busy as he finished with all of the customers.

" We are closing in 30 minutes. Please bring all purchases and returns to the front counter. I repeat we are closing in 30 minutes. Please bring all purchases and returns to the front counter."Roy heard shortly after he had found the tablenapkins. He glanced away from what he was looking at and up to where he thought the announcment was coming from. He now had a half an hour to find some "CDs that have nice party music" as his mom described it, and maybe something to occupy himself when the adults were busy talking. Not that anyone his age went to parties like this, let alone knew anyone that did. It would just be another, boring party that his parents would schedule every other month or so, but not for the same reason.
Roy had finally found what seemed to be "nice party music" and put it in his bag. He had already found something to occupy himself during the party: his iPod, and some paper and pens so he can do some random doodles that he enjoyed doing most of the time. That should keep him occupied for a few hours, until he got tired and retreated to his bed at 11-ish.
Roy was walking slightly faster so he wouldn't have to be in a big queue. He tried to look for the smallest one, and noticed someone familiar. Could it be? He held his breath. Yes, it was. That stranger he saw from the park! But why was he here? He probably worked at the store. Roy swore he knew him from somewhere, not just from the park. Maybe his dad? No, that can't be. He looked slightly like this high-class man he heard his friends talk about. Kudo, probably, his last name. Could that be his son? Nah, Roy, don't say such nonsense. He thought to himself, trying to find a queue away from him, just in case the stranger spotted him, I doubt someone from the Kudo family would go to the same park as I do, and work here. It doesn't seem right... He had already reached the counter, where a man well above his age manned the cashier.
"Cash, or credit?" The usual question was asked.
"Cash, please." Roy replied.
"That'll come to $21.30, sir." He said, and Roy gave him 22 dollars, getting the change shortly after. He put that in his pocket and quickly got out of the store, hoping the stranger wouldn't recognise him.

Kai took a deep breath as he assumed the "cashier mode". Cashier mode, as his employer explained it to him on training day, was when the cashier did minimum talking to the customer to get the person checked out in a timely manner. He explained it as talking enough to get the job done and be friendly, but not enough where it became awkward. As Kai rang up a customer he looked up to call the next customer up to the counter, and saw someone eerily familiar. He called the next customer quickly, and began ringing out the person. He was so absorbed in thinking about the boy that he saw that he accidently gave the customer the wrong amount of change. However, nothing happened, and there were no complaints.
Kai rang up his last customer. He looked around as the number of remaining customers was dwindling down. He decided that the other people could handle the counter so he decided he was going to see if there was anything that needed to be done in the aisles of the store.
After he was done he went outside to the awaiting car, and then he was driven back home to the manor. Kai re-read over the text message over and over again. "Why is my father wanting me to come to this party?" thought Kai. "I've never gone to one of these events before, since I didn't have to worry about anything in my future since my parent's control my life." At the last part he rolled his eyes. Turning to Sebastian he asked," Sebastian, why am I going to this event with Father tomorrow? I've never been to one, why is he showing so much interest in me now?" Sebastian thought it over before he answered with," It's because he wants to begin training you so you can take over the company when your father retires in a few years." His father owned a multi-million dollar company. His company created software and hardware for computers for large business firms and organizations.
Sebastian parked the car in the multi-car driveway, and went around to open the door for Kai. As he was doing this Kai rolled his eyes as he thought that it wasn't really necessary that Sebastian did this for him. Kai walked through the double doors of his manor home, and walked to his room where he fell onto the covers of the bed. "It must not have been coincidence that he had met him twice in one night. There was no way though that he was going to ever see him again, right?" thought Kai. "There was no way that the other male was going to be at the party. It was for affluential people like his father. Besides, there was typically no other kids his age at gatherings such as this."

Roy had already reached home, and the sun was nearly touching the trees and buildings that went past him, which meant that the "big party" was going to start. His red brick house wasn't too big, nor too small. In fact, it was a decent size, that held a jacuzzi, outside pool, a large basement, and other nice features. His family was middle-upper class, so Roy was pretty well off, he could say. He trotted up the stone steps to where the main door was, and where the guests would be arriving. He lived at a dead end, so there wasn't much parking space, so he didn't understand why they couldn't have had some dinner party at a restaurant, or something to keep him home alone. It'll be over and done with, you'll see. He quietly thought to himself as he knocked three times on the glass door.
Roy's redheaded mom opened the door, pushed up her glasses and smiled sweetly at him. He smiled back, greeted her, and stepped inside his house. The living seemed larger than before, what with all the lights installed and many tables of refreshments and such at the corners and sides of the room.
"Well, do you like it?" His mom asked, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"It looks nice." He replied.
"Oh, that's good. We don't want the waiter to dislike his surroundings when it comes to serving drinks and all that."
Roy spun round to glance at his mom. His gaze had daggers in them, and gave his mom a frightening look.
"Oh, right, I forgot to tell you. Max can't make it today because of some family problems, so you'll have to fill his position. Did I not tell you?"
"No." Roy said sternly.
"Oh, don't worry, it'll be fun! You get to meet the many men that may employ your father. Plus, I heard the Kudo family might show. Isn't that great? Your father's always wanted a job in computer science."
"Great." Was all Roy said, then walked off into his room and slammed the door. Why him? His parents knew that he wasn’t a sociable person, and the only people he talked to were his friends. He became shy when he met new people, and only spoke in “umms” and “errs”, so he definitely wouldn't be so great at the job. He'd be way better at minding his own business and staying out of the way. His mother and younger sister shortly walked in. His sister, Chang, was already wearing her party dress and had put on some slight make-up. She was more outgoing and sociable than Roy was, and the one that's still in high school. Whenever someone spoke of the Tanero family, it was because of Mr. Tanero, or Chang, because of her high grades in school and her really amazing skills at the piano. She promised to play some music halfway into the party, so it wouldn't be boring.
"Roy, has something been bothering you?" She asked, motioning for their mom to leave.
"Nothing." He replied.
"Anything happen at the park or at Ever Light?"
"No."
"You sure?"
"I'm sure."
Chang sighed. She could almost never get to his brother, no matter how hard she tried.
"If you say so. Come on, put some nice clothes on. The first few adults have arrived." She said and left his room to change. He put on some nice dress pants and a dark, marroon, buttoned up shirt. He brushed his hair down so it looked straight and decent. Once out of his room, his mom was in the kitchen waiting for him to get his tray of food to serve it to the hungry guests. His dad was already dressed in his best and mingling with the potential bosses.
It'll be over before you know it. Don't worry. I doubt anything can make this night better, but try not to strangle yourself whilst here. It'll be over before you know it. Roy kept repeating to himself as he went round the large living room and hall with a silverplate of refreshments for the adults.

Kai opened his eyes groggily from the nap that he had to hear the rapping of the knocker on his door. "Young, sir are you awake," said Sebastian through the hard oak door. "Are you getting ready for the party that you and your father are going to?" Kai looked around and grabbed his digital clock that was on the nightstand. Cursing to himself he jumped out of bed ran into the next room and began taking his clothes off so he could get into the shower.
Walking out of the bathroom he was greeted by Sebastian who had his Giorgio Armani suit neatly laid out on his bed. Kai grimaced at it when he saw it. He hated wearing suits. He much preffered his jeans and a T-shirt. "Young, sir. You really need to manage your time better." "I know I know," said Kai as he hastily put on his tie. Looking in the mirror behind the two of them. "How do I look?" Sebastian looked at the mirror and smiled. Kai's tie was crooked and his hair was in disarray. The clothes suited him though, they should be they were tailored to his fit. Sebastian walked over as he began re-arranging his tie. Kai huffed as he felt that he was being treated like a child. After Kai was presentable enough the pair went down the stairs to be greeted by his father who was standing by the door wearing his own suit. His was more expensive though. It was a Brioni with gold cuff links. "Well are we ready to go?" he asked, directing his question to Sebastian. "Why, yes sir, we are," replied Sebastian as he opened the door for the pair. There was a car waiting for them, and they hastily got into it. After they were secure they drove away towards the Tanero residency.
At the house they were greeted by a woman with red hair and glasses. Walking into the house Kai immediatly wanted to go off into the corner, and hide out there while he listened to his music from his iPod that he managed to smuggle out of the house unnoticed. He was, however, saddened when his father grabbed him by the arm, and began stearing him to the cluster of people that were mingling in the center of the room. He tried to wrench his arm away, but his father's grip on his arm only tightened. Sighing he resigned himself to his fate as he felt himself be paraded around by his father. This party wasn't meant for him, it was meant for Mr. Tanero to find a job, or something. That's all he remembered when his father had talked to him in the car.
His father saw one of his business partners and walked over greeting him warmly. Kai managed to sneak off in the opposite direction. He knew he was going to get yelled at later about it, but he didn't much care. He blindly moved through the crowds of people barely recognizing their faces. He spied a woman that was dressed in what he could describe as an "indecent display of skin" at such a gathering. He shivered woman were weird. He continued to walk until he ran into the back of someone with so much force that he fell onto the ground on his ass.
((Odd, sort of meeting, but I think you can work with it))

((That's okay. Face to back is always interesting. Nice Chang description by the way.))
Roy was suddenly thrust forward, after someone colliding with him from behind. The champagne glasses on his tray had almost fallen out, but luckilly, he managed to save most of the liquid and nothing shattered. No one had seem to notice, which was good; he didn't want to draw attention to himself. He spun round to see who had colllided with him and noticed a boy, maybe around his age, on the floor, flat on his ass. He had to admit, Roy felt some slight pain for him; falling on your butt after crashing wasn't so great. He put the silver tray on a nearby table and went down to help the boy. From first glance, he looked rather fetching in the suit he was wearing. He was probably related to the Kudo family or some other high-class family. He crouched down so he almost met face to face with the boy.
"Need a ha-" He stopped his question at midpoint. Once he had seen the boy's face, his heart had stopped completely. The stranger. Roy exclaimed inside, Why is he here? Wait a minute, is he-
"Ah, Kudo! So glad you could join!" He heard his mother's voice. She always felt excited when Roy made new friends. "I have heard good things about you from your father. Have you met my son, Roy?" She then glanced down to where they both were. "Oh, get off the ground, sillies! Roy, you can take a break to talk to Kai. He'll be a good influence on you." She walked off to mingle with the other adults in the room.
Roy had started to look down at his feet, as he was turning slightly pink, even under the dim lighting. What does this mean? He thought to himself again Three times in one day is a bit odd. But is he following me, or something? Or is this...fate? I don't really believe in those things, but...He's really cute looking. Shit, I probably look strange to him now. Roy wanted to make some conversation with this Kai, but didn't know how. He must have felt strange too, since he had probably seen him three times as well.
"Um, I'm, err, Roy...I guess." He started, breaking the silence between them. He wasn't sure if Kai was going to keep making conversation, or run off, freak out, and tell his dad not to employ this insane Tanero family. Too many thoughts were rushing to his head, and he couldn't seem to unscramble them. He felt woozy, as if some champagne had gotten to his mouth after the collision.

Kai looked up rather embarassed as he stared into the person's eyes above him. He began to start to say," I am sorry," but his words got caught in his throat when he got a look of the boy in front of him. It was the boy from the park, and from his job. This couldn't have been mere coincidence, but Kai refused to call it fate. He didn't believe in such things. Kai was about to speak up again when the hostess came flying at him with a flurry of words. She said," Ah, Kudo! So glad you could join! I have heard good things about you from your father. Have you met my son, Roy?" She then noticed that Kai was on the ground and said," Oh, get off the ground, sillies! Roy, you can take a break to talk to Kai. He'll be a good influence on you." Getting himself off of the ground he looked slightly embarassed at his folly. He had to chuckle at the last part though. He a good influence on her son. He laughed out loud.
The boy's mother made motions for the two of them to go sit and talk, but Kai stayed rooted to the ground. He didn't know if he wanted to run away immediately. It would be rude to do that though, and he darn well knew that he was going to get in trouble for his father if he had just up and left. He heard the other, Roy if memory served, say," Um, I'm, err, Roy...I guess." Kai thought for a moment and replied with," My name is Kai. You already know my last name." He spat out the remaining part of the last sentence. He hated being compared to his father, as a sidenote. "I hate parties like this. They're so boring. All these people," he motioned to the crowd," They're all acting like they're someone else to impress other people. It disgusts me to be completely honest." Kai took a glass of wine from another tray the servers were carrying around, and took a sip. He closed his eyes and thought a moment. " How about we ditch this place and go somewhere else."

Roy was slightly relieved that Kai hadn't run away from him. He would have thought he would end the conversation with a "I don't talk to lower-class people.", but he was nothing like that at all. In fact, he was almost just like him, only cuter. He mentally perked up when he, also wanted to get out of this party. It's not like anyone else would take notice of him, so getting away from this atmosphere would be just great.
"That would be great. Let me get my jacket." Roy replied, quickly going to his bedroom, where he first threw his dark green hoodie, which has hanging halfway on his bed. He retrieved it, messed up his hair, put it on, and went back into the bustling crowd. He never liked his hair down and straight; he thought he looked odd. Once out, he noticed Kai near the door. Fortunately, no one else should be coming, and his mom shouldn't be greeting anyone by the door, which was good.
He wish he had the guts to say "You look nice in your suit." but just couldn't. His shyness had kicked in, but wherever they were going, he hoped he would feel less shy around him.

Kai couldn't believe what his own voice was saying. Leave a party that his father was at was playing in shark infested waters with a bleeding wound. He would deal with that problem later though. Roy was just so cute when he got enthusiastic, and slightly flustered. He barely heard Roy say,"That would be great. Let me get my jacket," before he went running running up the stairs to his bedroom. Roy went towards the door since he knew that from the rooms atmosphere that the majority of the guests had already arrived, meaning that Roy's mother wouldn't catch him leaving. As he waited he heard his fathers "guhaff" of a laugh, and rolled his eyes. Even for a muti-million dollar company CEO he was still a suck up to others on Wallstreet.
He saw Roy coming down. Kai breathed in. He was much cuter with his hair a mess. "I wish I could tangle my hands in that hair," said Kai before he turned beat red as he mentally slapped himself. "I shouldn't be having these feelings about someone, a stranger who is male no less." Roy came up to Kai who was by the front door. Kai looked at Roy and said,
" Are you ready to leave?" Kai had the perfect idea of where to take him. He had special permission to get into all of the botanical gardens in the city, regardless of closing/opening times, because his father had invested so much money in helping with maintenance and maintaining them.

Roy smiled his little shy smile. He didn't mean to, but it sort of came out by instinct. "Yeah, ready." He replied, opening the door for Kai, glancing back at the party, making sure no one saw them leave. He was pretty sure Chang was watching the whole scene, but she was a good girl; she wouldn't tell anyone and go on with her business. She perked up whenever Roy was happy, though he wasn't sure why. Maybe because he was always unhappy most of the time when at home?
Once out, Roy had been walking slightly slow down the stone steps until they had gotten to the street. He had sometimes glanced at Kai, but quickly looked back down. Don't do this, Roy he thought to himself, He doesn't have any sort of feelings for that. He's probably just being nice and letting you tag along. Anywhere could be better than at my house right now. On that note, he forgot to ask where they were going. Kai seemed to be leading the way, but it was too dark for Kai to care much to realise they were going. Like he had thought, anywhere was better than home right now.
"Just wondering, where are we going?" Roy broke the silence, putting his fists in his pockets. It sure did get cold around at night, even if it was somewhat summer. He glanced again at Kai, then back at the road. He seemed so strong, and silent. He could be his potential perfect guy, if he had also felt the same way. He had longed to be held in those arms, oh how he longed to be held in those arms...

Placing the now empty wine glass on a discarded tray that had been left on one of the nearby tables he walked out the door with Roy in tow. He flipped out his silver and blue blackberry and texted someone quickly, and then he closed it. He had sent a message to Sebastian asking him if he would come pick him up, and take him to Lafre Botanical Gardens in the city. There was a buzz in his pocket as he took his phone out again as he looked at it. Sebastian had responded that he would take them, but that it was entirely his fault if he were to get into trouble. Kai knew that he said the last point in joking manner though. Kai heard Roy ask," Just wondering, where are we going?" Kai looked at Roy with his cute little smile and responded with," My driver Sebastian is coming to pick us up. He knows where we are so we can just wait here. We are going to Lafre Botanical Gardens. Not the best place for a first da-." He coughed a little. "Did I almost say date?!" thought Kai. "We're not going on a date. We're just friends." A little voice in the back of his head said," So that's what they call it now. You've barely known the guy for a few hours, and you're already wanting to date him." Kai squashed the voice in the back of his mind, and continued to muse. He cleared his throat, as his cheeks were tinged a deep crimson. " Ya, we're going to the Lafre Botanical Gardens," he said again trying to level out his voice. He was convinced though tht his voice was shaking[/B].
The awkward silence continued as they waited for Sebastian to bring the car around. Sebastian silently drove up in a small black silver accented porsche. Kai smacked himself in the forhead. "Good god," he thought. "I don't want to scare him away. Couldn't Sebastian have brought a car that was a little more...normal?" Sebastian got out of the car, and opened the door for Kai and the other boy. Kai motioned for Roy to get in first.

Roy got a little confused, then went back to his normal state. He would think that all of the parks and gardens would be closed at this hour, but then again, if he had a personall driver, then he must have some other perks to having high-class parents. He suddenly had a slight flashback at when he was looking at the monuments in the park he always went to when he first came to the town. He had noticed that most of the monuments and such had "Donated by the Kudo Family" scribbled nearby, or something like that. He had remembered saying to himself that this Kudo family must really try to get there name spread across this town. He did not think this now.
"Ah, I see. Sounds great. Nice, quiet place." Roy wished he could take back the words that had rolled out of his tounge. At first, he thought he had heard "date" at the end of Kai's sentence, and instantly said completely stupid. Kai had probably meant something else. He had noticed that Kai's cheeks had turned slightly red, but that could've just been the colours playing with his eyes in the night.
Pretty soon, a sound of an expensive car had come closer and closer to Roy's ears. A black porsch with little details that showed wealth had driven close to the boys. A tall man in a uit had gotten out and opened the door for them. Doing what Kai had motioned, Roy had gotten into the car and moved to the farthest window. Kai had gotten in and they were soon driving off to the park. The porsch made a nice, smooth sound, and it was nice and not annoying like most cars he went in. When everything seemed to be going well, he had finally realised something. He would have to explain to his parents where he had gone to, if they were wondering about him. He wold surely get a wrist slap after...whatever was going to happen. In fact, he didn't know what to expect from Kai, and he liked that in him; unpredictable. But he did wonder what would happen in the gardens. He decided to psh the worry abot his parents away for now and decided to break the silence in the car, again.
"Do you do this often?" He said, "I mean, bring friends over to the parks at night. And maybe yo-" Should he mention girlfriend? If he didn't have one, it would be quite awkward. "Nevermind." He quickly added and made a smile again.

"Ah, I see. Sounds great. Nice, quiet place." Kai was relieved that Roy liked where they were going. He hadn't taken anyone to this particular gardern. He, himself, hadn't been there for 3 years, ever since his 18th birthday when his life was happy for the most part. As Kai got in the car behind Roy he shot Sebastian a glare to Sebastian responded with a toothy grin as he pushed him the rest of the way into the car as he closed the door. Getting into the back seat was ominous enough, and it made it even worse when there was no sound either. Thankfully, Roy broke the silence by saying,"Do you do this often?" Kai was a little confused at the statement. Did he mean bring friends along in expensive looking cars, or take them to gardens? Either or he hadn't done either before. Nope, not once. Kai was glad that ?Roy kept talking, even though it was a bit awkward. If Roy was talking that meant that he didn't need to talk. Roy continued by saying ,"I mean, bring friends over to the parks at night. And maybe yo-" Kai was hanging on every word that was falling out of Roy's velvet like lips, and he almost blurted out the sentence "what were you saying go on" when Roy stopped talking. "Wait?!" he yelled at himself mentally. "Why was he thinking about this now? It wasn't like they were a couple." Roy became silent again, and then muttered the word," Nevermind."
The rest of the drive to Lafre Botanical Gardens was slient and awkward, but soon they were there at the gates. There was a man standing at the gate with a set of keys. Sebastian opened the door and Kai got out first immediatly walking over to the man. There was a laugh, and then the gates swung open as the other male opened the door. "Have fun you three," said the man as he waved at them as he left to go back to the security house at the front of the park. "When you are done. Come back and tell me so I can lock up." "Thanks," said Kai. Kai began walking towards the trail to the left of the security house, since the park was a large loop. You would end back at the security house if you kept going around the loop. Kai motioned for Roy to follow him.
Sebastian looked like he was going to go with them, but stopped at the last second and began following the security guard back to the security house. "Sebastian," called out Kai. "Are you coming with us?" Sebastian thought that the thing that Kai needed the most was to be with alone with the other boy. Hopefully this boy, Roy was his name if memory served, would help Kai break out of the shell that he had built around him those many years ago. Sebastian shook his head and said," No, young sir. George and I are going to go and watch wrestling and play some cards. Have fun and be safe." With that being said Sebastian walked away towards the security house.
Kai and Roy were now free, and alone to go and explore the gardens by themselves.
((dun dun dun))

Roy had stepped out of the car and the view had revealed a night scene, with a gate that stood before the three. A few words were spoken and the gate had swung open. He had gone to the Lafre gardens several times, and found i a nice place to settle down. If he had his crush here, it would have been romantic. Wait a minute. He glanced at Kai again, then back at the far away Sebastian, who had left them to explore the gardens. At night. Did Kai have the same feelings for Kai, meaning he took him to a secluded place maybe get Roy to confess his there? Or was Kai just being a good friend and taking him here to explore at night as a friendly gesture? He didn't know which scenario was the case, but he didn't want to choose the wrong one and have this night ruined. He started to feel his head ache again.
Roy took notice of the surroundings. The streetlamps lit some of the foliage and benches that lined the sides of the pavement. Their walk would take them back to the gates, so they wouldn't be so lost...wherever they were going. Again with the awkward silence. Their footsteps echoed in the quiet and dark surroundings.
"It's really nice here." He started, "And at night, the park looks even better. Andyoulookniceinyoursuitbytheway." He blurted the last sentence out, and rather quickly. He didn't intend to blurt it out at this moment, when they hardly knew each other. He quickly covered his mouth with his large hands to prevent anything else slipping out, and to cover his cherry red cheeks. Kai will surely run now. He'll run to the gates and ask his driver to drive him off, leaving Roy alone in his awkward state. His gaze showed an "uh-oh" kind of look, but innocent at the same time. He could feel sweat coming in beads on his face. It's all over now. Nothing could be said to make things right again.

((Sorry for the late update, school has been kicking my butt lately. Things should be fine now though))
Kai walked next to Roy as the two of them walked down the path that was slightly curving to the right. If they continued on this path it would take them in a complete circle so there was no way for the two of them to get lost. Kaij breathed in the chill air. It was getting rather cold. He breathed out and there was a puff of air that followed. It was a completely different world here in the dark. He had come here a lot through the years as he had been growing up, but he had always come during the daytime hours, when it was actually supposed to be legitimately open. Roy, who was walking next to Kai finally broke the silence by saying," [...] And at night, the park looks even better. Andyoulookniceinyoursuitbytheway." Kai jumped when he heard Roy's voice in the dead silence. Blinking he chuckled and said," Could you repeat that last part. I don't think I quite got that." Regardless of if he responded to that little jab was up to him completely. Kai was just happy that he was here with Roy.
Looking over at Roy as the continued to walk Kai could feel his face begin to flush as he began to blush. There were so many thoughts that were running through his mind, but the one that stayed there in his mind the most was that he should take what he wanted, and right now he wanted Roy. Leaning over he placed his hand on Roy's shoulder as he gently bent him backwards as he crashed his lips against the other males. His other hand managed to find the small of Roy's back where it sat there in the middle to make sure the two of them didn't fall over on impact.
((I tried to explain it the best I could. It's sort of like the romantic kiss where the guy leans the girl back and kisses her passionately. It's also like the WW2 navy picture of the man and woman))

((It's okay. I sometimes have those days too. Just a little warning, Saturday's going to be a little hectic. I'm moving back to America because of my dad's job and since it's a 5-6 hour flight, and might be under the influence of jet-lag, please don't expect me to write a massive post, or even any that day. Sunday should be fine, though.))
After walking alongside Kai, Roy's mouth shut after what he had said, and his face the reddest it could be, Kai just laughed that off. Did he actually hear what he had said? He didn't think so. Well, that was until Kai had took him and kissed him right on the mouth. He was a bit surprised at first, and he felt himself get goosebumps all over his body. Kai's warmth and touch had definetely cured that, and he felt completely safe around him. This is what Roy wanted after all, but thought would never happen because of his shy-ness. Everything in his mind had gone blank again and the only thing on his mind was that he was head-over-heels in love with Kai. Roy kissed him back, only slightly harder, and he managed to do something with his hands. One had already gone to Kai's back, bringing them closer and upright again, and the other managed to get to his hair, where his hand played and got lost in his beautiful midnight black hair. He did not want this moment to end.

((5-6 hours....are you coming from Europe? And no worries, it happens. Get some rest. Jet-lag sucks. During late April, early May I went to Japan that was a nightmare with Jetlag, so I completely understand))
Kai was completely lost in Roy, but came back to the halting reality of what he was doing. Surely, he couldn't keep it a secret from Sebastian, since he never kept anything from him to begin with, but he was positive that he couldn't keep anything from his father. Pushing himself away from Roy was probably the hardest thing that he had ever done in his life since he didn't want it to end. He winced as his hair was tugged painfully as he pulled away. Apparently Roy had tangled his fingers in his tousled hair. Breathing heavily from a slight oxygen deprivation he looked at Roy and said in a shaky voice," I am so sorry. We can't let this happen. My father will kill me for sure, and I don't know what he would do to you. I don't want to see you get hurt. So I am sorry." Kai didn't take a moment to look at Roy as he turned on his heel and ran towards the enterance. There were so many thoughts going through his head that it was making him dizzy.
((Didn't think I was going to make it easy for you, right?))

((From London, yeah, I'm coming. Alright thanks. Hopefully we should get some stuff done before Saturday ;]))
Roy had lost his trance with Kai once he was pushed away by him. He was breathing heavily just as Kai was. Kai had explained why he stopped and shortly after he had ran away from him. He understood what he had said, but his heart had heard "What the Hell are you doing? This isn't how normal people act! Don't follow me home, I never want to see you again!" Roy's ears were ringing so he couldn't remember which explanation was right, but one thing was for sure; he would never see Kai again. He looked up at the sky, to the direction where Kai had gone, and went the other way. The loop would get him to the gate anyway, leaving Kai enough time to escape anyway. Roy felt tears in his eyes and awaited the punishment back home.
Chang had been slightly worried as to where Roy had gone off to. He saw him and the other boy leave together, but where? She always had that gut-feeling that Roy would come back before the party ended, which would shortly end at1 in the morning or so, depending how the actual party went. She heard many employers wanting to employ her dad, but Mr. Kudo offered him a large offer, because of her dad's enthusiasm and great hosting. They were already checking his resume, but still not sure if they would hire him yet. I wonder what the two are doing? She thought as she waited for their return.
((Kai's made an unhappy Roy. Tsk tsk tsk.))
