Angela walked down the sidewalk, not even focusing on where she was going. She was lost in thought. She had to find a new place to live since she left her abusive boyfriend. She had to hurry because she was 3 months pregnant.

Jake was walking down the sidewalk and was to busy looking at the cars to notice that he was walking right towards a pregnant neko, when he walked into her he looked at her with out noticing she was pregnant and he stared at her

Angela looked at the guy who she bumped into,"I'm so sorry." She said,"I should have watched where I was going."

Jake chuckled "its ok" he said as he helped her up, when he had helped her up his eyes widened, as he noticed she was pregnant "im so sorry mam, i should have been paying more attention "i have hurt it or you have i?" he asked and began to worry

Angela smiled,"I'm okay." She said,"Don't worry about it."

Jake chuckled a bit "ok then... say... where is the father?" he asked looking around "and where do you live?"

Angela looked down,"I left him." She said,"He was abusive and at the moment I have no home."

Jakes eyes widened again "he was WHAT!?!" he growled a bit then he sighed "if you need somewhere to stay, you can stay at mine as long as you want, you have the bed i have the sofa, is that ok?"

Angela shook her head"I don't want to be a burden."

Jake chuckled and patted her shoulder "you wont be, trust me, ive had people stay before, and i wont take no for a answer, you shouldn't be sleeping out side, its risky"

Angela looked at him,"If you insist..."

Jake chuckled "i do insist, you mill not sleep on the street, what if he beats you up? you wouldn't like it then " he chuckled "follow me, i will show you where i live"

Angela nodded.

Jake chuckled "you can talk about anything you know, im not going to try and bite you" he chuckled again and stopped outside his house

Angela smiled,"Thanks for helping me." She said.

Jake chuckled and turned around "i am glad to help" he chuckled and then he led her into his one story house "its not big, but atleast its safer then the streets"

Angela nodded,"Anything is better then being out there."

jake chuckled and sat on the sofa "i never got your name" he said and then he patted the seat next to him "you need to sit"

She sat down,"My name is Angela." She said.

Jake smiled but in a friendly way "well Angela, my name is jake... can i say, you look very pretty"

Angela blushed,"Thank you." She said.

jake chuckled again "shall i make you something to eat?" he asked

Angela was in the hospital, almost ready to have her baby.
