athena walked in the throne room on olympas. zeus had called a meeting and ordered that all the gods atend. athena took her place by hera and watched the room fill.

[yes thats why i posted. i was waiting for another one so it wouldnt just be me and selena.]

Aphrodite walks into the room and takes her seat looking at Athena giving her a look that said what was this about.

A scowl on her face, Artemis walked with a confident strut up the stairs towards the throne room. She hated being ordered about, especially by men. Especially by him.

"It's his fault anyway." she mumbled darkly under her breath. She found her way into the room and took a seat on her throne- so dusty after years of being neglected. She looked to the throne beside her, the one that belonged to her brother Apollo. Empty. Still irritated, the young girl looked to the other goddess in the room, Athena, but said nothing before she crossed her arms and glared at the wall ahead of her.

What was so important that she had to be there too? What could they possibly discuss that she needed to discuss as well? Perhaps Zues' promiscuity got him into hot water with Hera again; that would be an amusing show.

athen watched zeus as he spoke "we have a problem. hermes has told me that hades is planning something big. he has a three headed dog guarding the entrance to the under world so it has to be something big" zeus said looking around. "we need everyone on high alert" he said looking at artemis "everyone".

"Why would he be of any threat?" Artemis spoke up. "He's far from hostile, and he runs the underworld. Even if he was hostile you can't really blame him, you and Poseidon cheated him and gave him the crap job you two didn't want."

She glared at Zues, scathing hatred in her eyes. She could not take him of course- but he could not take her either.

"The three headed dog is named Cerberus. He keeps the spirits of the lost in Hades. If you wanted you could walk right in and he would wag his tail and greet you with great affection. If you try to leave however, that's when he gets vicious. So what could they possibly be hiding using a dog that lets every person in who wants down there?"

She stood now, irritated and not willing to deal with this.

"You're a fool. Prometheus' prediction is obviously going to happen, so why not let him off that great rock you chained him to?"

Aphrodite looks at Zeus thinking that this cant be happening. "Do you have any clues on what he is planning?" She says sitting up in her seat. Knowing Hades it was going to be something deadly and it was going to hurt the humans.

"artemis you should pay attention. cerberus isnt the problem. hades never has him at the entrance always outside his palace. and hermes got through and saw that all the spirits are all at hades castle and they were working on something. hades is planning something. hades has been quiet for a while and that isnt like him. artemis i know we have not talked to you much but we need you and apollo to go to the under world and check it out. hermes will go with you. apollo is waiting for you at the entrance. hades doesnt know he is there yet but he might soon so we need you to step on it artimes. and you should watch how you speak." zeus growled as thunder boomed over head.

athena looked at zeus"bu7t hades hasnt caused trouble for years why would he start now my lord" athen said.

((Um... yeah... you do realize Hades was one of the better gods right? And no, Hades Keeps Cerberus at the Gates into Hades, passed the river Styx.))

"Hm... no, I don't think so." Artemis replied. "That's an invasion of privacy. You snobs who sit up here on your little mountain-top may look down on Hades for doing the gloomy job that Zues and Poseidon didn't want, but that doesn't mean he's some kind of villain. I'm going to use logic and have a word with Pesephone. She'll know what's going on, and if he is planning something nasty, she'll be able to stop it. That woman has her man whipped but good."

She turned on her heel and stormed from the halls, heading towards her chariot. The hind quartet who drew it were waiting patiently, ready to be hooked up and go. Her hunting dog Molpadia lay in the chariot, sleeping.

very well who will take artemis place" zeus said looking at athena and aphrodite.

"i will my lord" athen stood up and bowed. "very well" zeus said "you and hermes should go meet up with apollo he is waiting." zeus said. athena and hermes got there chairiots and flew of lookng down at artemis as the left.

Aphrodite looks at Zeus "Are you sure this is a good idea my lord" She says looking at him with soft spoken eyes. She was good friends with Artemis and she didnt want to she her get hurt.

Nothing much has happened, all I know is trouble is brewing all around. My sister is pissed with my father for what happened to her 'Callisto' and no one seems to be getting along right now.

"What's with her?" Apollo asked Athena, looking down at his sister as they passed her in his chariot. "Is it her moon cycle already? I thought that was last week."

As worried as he was for her, he didn't want to irritate his father, he liked the peace kept between the gods. It was more fun to lounge around, enjoying music and wine and good company. He was a lover, his sister the fighter.

"So, what is going on with Athena these days?" he asked the goddess of wisdom. He didn't understand half the things she explained to him, he wasn't an intellectual, but he liked to hear her voice sometimes.

zeus looked at aphrodite. "well she wont since she has refused to do it. its a good thing athena is always ready for a quest or else it would just be apollo and hermes and you know they dont get along by them selfs" zeus said dissmissing the council.

athena looked at apollo "she is just made cause she thinks zeus has neglected her. she is the one who never gose to the councils. so whats the plan. if ceberus barks then hades will know someone is here." athena said as then flew through the sky on there chariots.

Apollo burst out laughing.

"You think she cares about our father paying attention to her? Really? Oh Athena I was certain you were the goddess of wisdom! Why on Olympus or earth would Artemis- the personification of a woman's independence, care what any man thinks?" he laughed some more and kept making his point. "The last person to think Artemis cared for men in any shape or form was Orion, and she sent a scorpion after him- now he's dead and in the sky, forever afraid of Scorpio stinging his heel again."

He calmed his laughter at last and told Athena what he knew.

"You remember Callisto don't you? Out of all of Artemis' hunting party, my sister favoured her the most. You've got to be a virginal girl to be part of Artemis' circle, and from what I understand, Callisto gave birth to the a child of Zues. Gather all that in mind, why the hell do you think Artemis would be angry with our father hm?"
