It was early morning and Tyki woke with a jolt. His scar burned with searing pain that could not be eased. It was a regular thing these days since his fight with Allen on the ark. Much to the Earl's delight, his Noah had been kicked awake and he was not pleased with the results. His hair was slowly growing longer and the dark tan skin now covered his body. He really didn't mind that, but the recurring nightmares and the searing pain from the scar that ran across his body was nothing he had ever felt before. Even when he first turned into a Noah, the pain was nothing like this. Damn that Allen! Damn that exorcist!

Yet...despite all of this, Tyki ever harbored a deep interest in the boy. Road had been honest in her statement on the ark. "Tyki likes Allen as much as I do." And the man, being her Uncle and all, knew that she had genuine love interest in Allen, she wasn't just messing with his head...for the most part at least. At any rate, the Noah of Pleasure stood and dressed himself. There was no way he was going to sleep right now. And, for the moment, he needed to take his mind away from the Earl, the Akuma and the Noah. Maybe pester the Exorcists? Yeah, that sounded fun. Walking through whatever mansion the Earl was currently living in, Tyki approached a servant, obviously an Akuma. "Do you have any reports on the location of any Exorcists? Specifically Allen Walker?" He asked as the servant nodded. "There is a report that Allen Walker and two others are on a mission in India." Tyki grinned, "Good. Don't set a plate out for me at breakfast and apologize to the Earl for me. I'll be in India." He said and the servant bowed. Tyki stepped through a door, which led him to the new ark. A brisk walk through the place and into another door and he stepped out, heat blasting him as he came into a manor that the Earl owned in the country. "Let's have some fun..." His grin turned more into a slasher smile as he left the house in search of Allen and the other Exorcists.

[imgleft]http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...-Sora182/album number two/DGMBook-1-1-1-1.jpg[/imgleft]Ah…India. It brought back such…memories? Horrors, more like. The majority of the memories he had were ones he didn’t care to remember. Cross had made the last years of his 'training' a living hell here in India. The sixteen year old sighed, trying his hardest to ignore the flashes of his Master's antics and all of the unsavoury people he had left Allen to deal with over the years, while turning down a different street. He had managed to ditch Link for the time being, having left through the hotel’s window without alerting the other man. He didn’t particularly care about the repercussions of these actions right then. If he managed to get back before morning, then there wouldn’t be any harm done. If he didn’t, then he’d explain himself and hope that the blond would understand and not tell on him. The Fourteenth had been blissfully quiet over the past few weeks and nothing inexplicable had happened, and the cursed teen had voiced this to the surveillance officer more than once. He was sure that Kanda wouldn’t mind his absence—he probably wouldn’t notice, or if he did would make some snide comment when Allen returned—and if he did, he definitely wouldn’t wake Link up to tell him.

Allen had left because he hadn’t been able to sleep, regardless of how airy the room was and though he had been used to the heat a year an a half ago, after spending so much time in the cool stone walls of the European Headquarters, it was difficult to adjust to sleeping in the general heat and humidity again. Not that he’d slept much when he’d been in the country with Cross. Between the debt collectors, working to pay those dept collectors off, and Cross throwing him at an Akuma whenever it showed up because he’d complained once, sleep for more than a few hours at a time hadn’t often been an option. Uncomfortable with the heat, the teen brushed a hand through his hair, disturbing Timcanpy, who had been resting there. Reaching a hand out, the boy plucked the rather large golem from the air, holding him in both hands as he reached a more open area of the city. In spite of the fact that Tim was a golem, he had warmth of his own that had nothing to do with Allen’s own body heat or the heat of the air.

Sighing lightly as, now that he was in a more open area—obviously one of the richer area’s of the city—a breeze was able to blow and cooled his skin some. Again, he ran a hand through his hair, wondering vaguely how Kanda could stand having so much of it. Wandering across the square, his attention now fixed on any one thing in particular as he went, Allen sat on the edge of a fountain watching the reflections of the full moon on the water absently. It was pretty, but seeing it reminded him too much of the dream he’d had in China. The first time he’d seen the Fourteenth’s shadow. Brushing the thought off, he refocused on the sky and the constellations that were visible. He purposely let his mind wander to anything but that dream and the one who had caused him to have it as he occupied his hands with playing with Timcanpy’s face, stretching it here and there only to release it and have it snap back to is regular spherical shape. The golem didn’t seem to care at all, and the Exorcist continued the motions.

[color=sienn((I'll make my posts pretty soon))

As Tyki continued through the streets, looking for any signs of excitement or any of the akuma in disguise. There were a few, but they remained quiet for the time being and he told them to remain quiet about his presence. He was here on his own time and was not on a mission. He just wanted some time alone and bother Allen.

Speaking of the boy, as Tyki wandered through town he came upon a fountain and the object of his interests (desires was not a term he was comfortable with with the boy right now) sitting there, by himself, with his golem. Smiling kindly, Tyki quietly moved out of anybody's view and watched him for a while.

It had been a few weeks since he last saw the teen, since he had been recovering from his outburst in the ark and the wounds from Allen and Cross. It seemed like Allen had matured quite a bit. The hair seemed to have grown a bit and he had grown taller. Perhaps with the evolution of his Innocence, the other had grown as well? Either way Tyki could confidently say that Allen had grown quite attractive since their first meeting. Deciding that he should stop being a creeper, Tyki left his little hiding place and came up behind Allen. "I hardly ever find you alone these days, Allen." He greeted putting a hand on his shoulder and sat next to him. "Relax boy, I'm here on my own agenda. Got a little restless, needed to get out of the house." He said right after in order to avoid confrontation. He didn't want to get his partners involved.[/color]

Allen was snapped out of his thoughts abruptly as Timcanpy hissed, bearing its teeth as its face snapped back for the last time before wriggling out of his hands and landing on his head, hissing again. Allen blinked, gathering what had happened shortly before the voice of the man he’d been trying not to think about sounded and a hand fell on his shoulder. The Exorcist tensed as the Noah sat next to him, his mannerisms almost friendly as he explained himself. Allen’s eyes narrowed, not trusting the story at all. His heart had begun to beat faster, though whether it was from the anticipation of an attack or from the Fourteenth within him becoming excited at the proximity of another Noah—one the Pianist would most likely try to kill, if what Cross had told him was true—Allen couldn’t tell. Those were the only reasonable explanations the boy could come up with, anyway. In spite of this, he kept his position beside the elder man. He wouldn’t move to fight unless Tyki did. The golden ball that was still on Allen’s head hissed again at the Noah, obviously not liking the company, though the cursed Exorcist silenced it by plucking it off, keeping it in his lap as he eyes the Noah carefully.

“Why do I find that hard to believe, coming from you, the man whose tried to kill me and my friends how many times now?” his voice was carefully flat, not betraying anything except the sarcasm (it must have rubbed off from Kanda) of the statement. He could only imagine what this would look like if Link or one of the Finders showed up unexpectedly. There was no way he could explain his conversing with a Noah outside of battle. There was no way he could ask or expect Link not to report this to Rouvelier. He and Link were on fairly friendly terms, but there was no way that would overpower his devotion to the Inspector. Although Allen didn’t know the man well, from what he’d seen of the other, he wasn’t one to cross. Although that didn’t stop Allen from acting openly defiant when he set out to upset the young Exorcist, just to get a reaction. The Exorcist wasn’t frightened of the inspector, not at all, but the influence that he had on others and the fact that he’d determined to prove him a traitor from the very beginning that worried the teenager.

If he was seen conversing with Tyki in this manner and Timcanpy would have the video to show it, then there was a good chance that, Exorcist or not, they would sentence him to death without a trial. Not that a trial would have done much good with so much incriminating evidence, but still. These thoughts in mind, Allen stood, keeping Timcanpy firmly in his grasp so the golem wouldn’t try to maul the older man. This was only partly out of concern for Tyki—Allen still maintained the preservation of human life and wellbeing, regardless of what kind of human he was or how many times the elder male had tried to kill him—but mostly because he didn’t want the golem destroyed. There was only so many time it could reform itself. Turning to look the elder man over, the white haired Exorcist noted that his hair was significantly longer than it had been the last time they had met, when he’d tried to exorcise the Noah from within him with Crown Clown’s sword. He’d made a mistake with that, and another, directed at himself, later on when fighting a Level Four. The effects of that had left him incapacitated for weeks and had only just healed enough for this mission to happen, the scar was still somewhat sore. “If you aren’t going to try and kill me, I have to get back.” he said, moving to leave.

] He blinked at the hissing golem and chuckled at how it was trying to defend its master. "What a feisty thing...though I understand your purpose, you won't be able to do anything to me." Tyki teased and then looked at the boy. "Because I've hurt you before. But...sometimes I don't like doing what the Earl tells me to do. Like, for instance, killing you. I like you. You're friends are a different story, however." Was his response to the first question. . Granted with his 'transformation' Tyki was a little more obedient towards the Earl, but he still liked to have his own agenda once in a while. "I snuck out just to finda ya boy. You should feel special." He grinned before blinking when Allen moved.

Turning he stood up himself and looked at Allen, a little bummed. Quickly he moved to stop him. "Well if you want me to kill you, then I'll be happy to oblige. Why are you in such a hurry all of a sudden? Didn't seem like you were in such a rush when you were trying to tear your poor golem's cheeks off." He pointed out and looked at Allen. "You've been through a few changes as well, have you not?" Tyki reached over and phased through the clothes, touching Allen's chest and feeling the scar. "Uh huh...does it hurt boy?" He frowned, "Does it burn? Do you wake up with nightmares and a searing pain where you were stabbed?" The Noah smirked, "Oh yes...we know all about that. Now back to my original question. Why are you in such a hurry? We haven't talked properly to each other since our time on the ark. Stay and talk a while? I'm asking you nicely, Allen." He pulled his hand away and looked at him, sincerely.

Allen’s eyes settled into a glare as Tyki answered his first question. It had been rhetorical, and his comment on Allen’s friends didn’t warm the cursed boy towards him any, but there was nothing to be done. He bit back a question about how, if Tyki liked, why he was constantly trying to do something to him. “Oh so special.” he muttered, continuing to move away, allowing Timcanpy to be free again as he went, only to be stopped by the elder male moving in front of him, blocking the path while speaking again. “I’ll have to decline that offer.” the Exorcist stated, dryly, stopping all progress in walking away stopped for the moment, running a hand through his hair again. Though the encounter was unexpected, the teen hadn’t forgotten the heat of the environment.

Too slow to even try to stop the unexpected movement, though he knew it wouldn’t have done any good even if he had been fast enough Allen sucked in a sharp breath, feeling the Noah’s finger tips against his chest through his clothing, he was briefly reminded of the Noah’s hand going through his chest, touching something that was never meant to be touched by anything or anyone. They stopped, though, not moving through him as they had the last time Tyki had touched him in such a manner. Instead, they brushed the scar that ran across one half of his body, so similar to the one he’d given the elder male on the Ark the one which was clearly visible in what he was wearing, lightly. Again from Allen’s head, Timcanpy hissed and bared its teeth, responding to its master’s discomfort at the Noah’s touch, though it made no move to attack the Noah. Allen stayed silent after Tyki had finished his questions about whether or not the scar burned or if he had nightmares. Yes, it hurt, and yes, he had nightmares sometimes, but not because of the wound. Because he was constantly fate’s bitch. Although he didn’t dwell on it, it was true.

The boy’s eyes narrowed again as Tyki reasked his former question about why he was in a hurry all of a sudden. “Because before I wasn’t engaged in a nice friendly conversation with an enemy.” the cursed teen said, still eyeing the other man, wondering vaguely how hard it would be to get past him. He didn’t want to reveal that the Order was having doubts about him to the Noah. “I’d rather not be caught keeping company with an enemy. Please get out my way. Like I said, I have to get back to the hotel. My friends don’t know that I’ve left and they’ll worry.” Not entirely true. It was unlikely that Kanda would do anything but say ‘che’ and get on with life. Link would likely either come looking for Allen or wait and give him an earful when he got back. Moving closer to the elder male, Allen looked straight into gold-yellow eyes before moving to brush past him.

Tyki gave a rather harsh glare to the hissing golem, warning the golden orb to shut up or get broken. As Allen brushed away from him, Tyki sighed and shook his head. "You'll be engaging conversation with me soon enough, Allen. Your clock is ticking, is it not?" He mocked, a grin on his face as he turned to watch the boy leave. "I don't HAVE to be your enemy. Well actually yes, I do. Earl says so. I'll get scolded rather harshly if I don't be a good boy. Have you seen the Earl when he's scary? It's not a pretty sight." Tyki was still attempting conversation. "And what makes you think your friends would know you had a conversation with an enemy? You got spies all around that we don't know about?" He chuckled just a bit. "Or are you afraid that you might actually enjoy talking to somebody that isn't spouting off religious nonsense?" Tyki shrugged and looked away. It seems the teen had become invulnerable to friendly conversations. This just made Tyki want him even more than before. He loved it when his targets played hard to get, both on and off the battlefield. "And I know you're smarter than to burst through the door and announce that you had some lovely tea and cookies with one of the worst enemies of all time."

He looked back, still no response. The Noah of Pleasure sighed, he hated giving spoilers. "We heard a lovely story about Kanda, recently. And we know a little something about what your 'Holy Order' is up to. Perhaps if I tell you, it may change your mind about the Order? The Noah aren't the only ones doing immoral things to humans. Ah well, perhaps you don't care? You have changed quite a bit since our last brawl. I suppose your thoughts have changed too. Too the point where you don't care what it takes...as long as you win..." He shrugged, he was getting bored now. "Well, it was nice seeing ya Allen. Ya look good. Try not to die before the climax mmkay? You always make things interesting." Tyki finally turned around and headed the opposite direction of Allen to go shopping. Maybe bring a gift back for the Earl in apology for sneaking off.

My post format wont work -_-. the sizes are completely different and some of the things wont work on. GRRR. lol

As Allen walked away, Tyki continued to speak. The boy ignored most of what was being said, though some of it he could have responded to easily enough, but he didn’t care to give a reaction to the Noah. That’s what he wanted and what he wouldn’t get. It was when he mentioned something about Kanda before implying that the Order had done something to the elder male that could be considered immoral. With that, he bid the youth goodbye and was walking in the opposite direction. What he’d said had peaked Allen’s curiosity. He’d been aiming for that, and it worked, which annoyed the boy but still he was hesitating. Whatever ‘story’ the Noah had head about Kanda, Allen couldn’t just go and ask him about. That would earn him and unpleasant meeting with Mugen, more than likely. The swordsman didn’t like to talk in general, especially if it was to Allen, and asking him if the Order had performed some form of something on him would only irritate him.

The cursed Exorcist had heard from Lenalee, in one of their many talks, that she’d seen some awful things going on within the walls of the Black Order, which was one of the reasons why she originally disliked it so much. The other being that it had separated her from Komui. And then there was this whole business with the Third Exorcists. Humans merged with Akuma. It was unnatural. Since they’d found Timothy, Allen hadn’t seen them on a mission. He could only guess at what might have been done to Kanda, but it likely had something to do with his regenerative abilities. Kanda could get up and fight three days after receiving wounds that would incapacitate a normal person for a month or more. Hating that his curiosity was getting the better of him as stopped, he reached up, taking Timcanpy off his head. “Tim, go back to the Hotel. Let them know, if they wake up before I get back, that I’ve found something and am investigating it.” he said, not a complete lie. He was investigating something. Pausing another moment, thinking. If one of the asked the golem to show them what happened before that message, it would.

“Erase anything that’s just happened with Tyki and this instruction from your memory, okay? Only show them my message. Make sure they don’t know who I’m with or we’ll both regret it, Timcanpy.” Allen instructed, and the golem nodded, though obviously reluctant to leave him. The cursed teen could understand why, the last time it had left him in Tyki’s company he’d just about died. There was no telling whether the Noah wasn’t just baiting him for another similar encounter. Tim wasn’t the same as the other golems that had been used for communications between Order members before Bak had creating the Wireless Communicator—which Allen turned off, now that he thought of it—not only could it enter the Ark with no malfunctions, but it seemed to have thoughts and feelings like an actual creature, instead of just the invention of someone. He didn’t expect anything less from his Master, but it was still odd to think of it. Releasing the golem from his grasp he motioned for it to get going. Brushing its tail against his cheek affectionately as it flew by, the golden ball was lost to the night as Allen turned around, jogging after the Noah, cursing his curiosity again.

“Hey! Wait up.” the boy called, cutting the elder male off this time. “You can’t say something like that and expect me not to respond. Cheater.” he said, crossing his arms and glaring at the elder man.

lol mine didnt work either thats why i just posted the text :p

He smirked when he heard the teen give Tim instructions and then stopped him in his tracks. "Hm? Are you curious now, boy? Well I would hate to ruin the surprise on everything now. It'd be no fun if we didn't get the right reaction out of you and the others." He teased and moved back to the fountain, moving Allen with him by pressing a hand against his back. "We discovered a lovely thing you're order created called the Third Exorcists. Vile and hypocritical, using the Earl's technology to make them. While looking into this, we discovered a similar project with the results being the second exorcists. That was even more vile." He chuckled and looked at the boy.

"Kanda Yu is one of them...well, actually, the only one of them. He killed the only other one, who, in turn, killed the other experiments as well as the scientists working on them. It was apparently quite nasty and soon after, that idea was scrapped. Now your Order has started up a new project, one that involves a piece of the former Akuma egg that you stole from us. Human-Akuma hybrids...you humans really are stupid." Tyki laughed again and shook his head. "Ah but I'm not going to reveal our plans to you. Not yet. Just know that the Thirds will be as much of a failure as the Seconds were. Save for Kanda...sort of." He looked at Allen and moved close to him. "But I will say this...the Earl is willing to strike a deal with you. Join us and he'll stop the blood shed. Perhaps you should answer now before we go through with the next plan, hm?" The Noah firmly gripped Allen's chin, making him look at him. "I mean really...You could save everyone with this. Think about it. Will you?" Tyki was painfully close to Allen's face before he pulled back. "If you want to know more you'll have to ask nicely." He sang with a cocky smirk.

Allen allowed the Noah to guide him back to the fountain, he didn’t particularly like how close together it brought him and the Noah, but he allowed it simply because he was curious. Curiosity killed the cat, Allen. a voice in the back of his mind whispered, his voice of reason without a doubt, though another answered it immediately, one that Allen couldn’t place. And satisfaction brought it back. Ignoring both of them, the youth listened quietly as Tyki spoke of the Third Exorcists and then the Second Exorcists, of which Kanda was apparently one of. Thoroughly confused by the end of the explanation, or the half that he was given, Allen began to think it over. He couldn’t just come out and ask Link what these projects were, or even warn of the ‘plans’ Tyki was speaking of involving the Third Exorcists, and from the sound of it, Kanda. Though he was sure the blond knew something about one of them, Link would want to know how Allen knew about the projects—if they were supposed to be a secret—and that the Noah were planning something involving them. That would lead to even more complications.

Of course, he could have lied and said that he’d run into Tyki and gotten into a battle, with the information slipping out through taunts on the Noah's part, but then he wouldn’t be able to explain his lack of injuries. The teen was only aware of Tyki getting closer and the fact that he’d been looking at the ground while in thought, when the Noah’s hand was on his chin, forcing his face upward to look at him. Blinking in surprise, both at the sudden closeness of the Pleasure Noah’s face and the Earl’s offer, Allen flinched backwards some, unconsciously, though Tyki kept a firm grip on his chin, not allowing him to move more than a half centimeter. The teen could smell the others breath, like stale cigarettes, and felt the warmth of it on his face as the Noah spoke. Their faces were only inches apart as the elder of the pair finished speaking.

“No.” the boy stated bluntly, not thinking it over at all. No thought was needed on the subject. He was an Exorcist. He didn’t want anything to do with the Fourteenth or the Noah at all, aside from trying to stop them from destroying the world. Hell would freeze over before he even considered joining the Earl. Before he could say anything more, Tyki had pulled back, releasing the Exorcist and changing the subject back to Allen’s curiosity. Drawing a breath the teen stared at the other man for a moment. He didn’t have any more questions on the Third Exorcists or Kanda’s origins, by the sound of things it would be revealed soon enough. Instead, he found himself wanting to know more about the Fourteenth. He and Cross had never gotten to speak again after the night he’d been told he would be erased. He’d had so many questions but their meeting had been cut off before any of them could be asked, let alone answered. His lips parted, intending to ask the one that had been eating away at him, but he hesitated a moment, unsure of whether it might set the other off. So far, Tyki had done nothing hostile, but bringing up the Fourteenth might cause him to. Still, the teen felt the overwhelming urge to ask and before he could think on the subject any longer he blurted the question that he’d never gotten the chance to ask Cross. “Why…Did the Fourteenth try to kill the Earl, Tyki?” his voice was soft, hardly above a whisper and his eyes had returned to the water, not wanting to look at the other when he asked.

Tyki chuckled at the confused look on Allen's face. It was rather priceless. It seemed like his vague explanation had raised more questions than answers. Chuckling Tyki leaned back in. "I'm going to let you in on a few secrets boy. Kanda Yu was best friends with the other Second. The other Second is Alma Karma, of whom the Order's precious Thirds are made from. We don't like cheaters, Allen. And we don't like humans stealing our technology. So we're going to find Alma and use him against you before destroying him." He backed away and smiled.. "It'll be a lot of fun, don't you think?"

When Allen actually asked another question of curiosity, Tyki actually stared at him for a moment. He didn't expect the other to actually ask him another question, and about the 14th no less! Sighing the Noah shook his head. "I'm afraid that's a question I can't answer. The Earl said that the Noahs received severe memory damage when the Fourteenth attacked. Road and the Earl are the only ones that haven't been reborn since that time, so they're the only ones that know. Hell, even Road won't tell me. She says it's simply another matter. And I'm her Uncle." He ruffled Allen's hair in a friendly manner, "My curiosity as to why he tried to kill the Earl is just as strong as yours Allen." Tyki stood, running a hand through his hair and sighing. People were starting to wake up and the square was starting to get more people. The nearby akuma were getting antsy. "Looks like our time is up, Allen. Perhaps we'll meet again before the next battle. I hope so. It's nice talking to you." Tyki approached him, then did something rather uncharacteristic of him. He leaned down and kissed him on the cheek. "Later." Tyki waved and started to walk away again.

As he walked away, the man couldn't help but feel...ecstatic? Maybe it was a touch of nerves that got to him. Either way, his heart had been pounding since he had been so close to Allen's face and it was worse when he had given him the kiss. At least it was only on the cheek. He probably would've had a chest full of sword if he had done it on the lips. But...he was just messing with the teen, wasn't he? It wasn't anything serious right? Then again, his chest was pounding hard and he was biting his lip and he was dearly wishing to see Allen again before they would have to fight again. Was his interest in Allen going off the deep end? Was now as infatuated with him as Road was? No no...it was just a game. To throw Allen's psyche off. That was all. At least...that's what he told himself. Damn it all, he really liked the boy. He really did.

Seeming to notice his confusion at the vague details given, the Noah moved closer again and revealed more ‘secrets’. Kanda had had a best friend? Their Kanda? It was this fact that surprised Allen the most. He knew that the front the other Exorcist put up was just that, a front. It was obvious from the subtle actions that the swordsman took in defense of both his fellow Exorcists, the Finders and, because of recent events, the scientists and other staff members at Headquarters—even after stating that he didn’t care about the former two rather bluntly—that he did care, at least to some extent. But Allen hadn’t pegged him as the type to have a ‘best friend’ or be friendly with anyone. In spite of their constant disagreements, Allen did see the elder as a friend, even if the feeling wasn’t mutual. But to find out that Kanda had called someone that? The world was obviously ending. His attention snapped back from these thoughts as Tyki continued with the plans they had for ‘Alma’.

How could he not tell Link about this? The information could mean life or death for the faculty at whatever branch this ‘Alma Karma’s’ body, if Kanda had killed him, was being held at. He could make up some excuse as to why he wasn’t injured. He could say that Tyki had come to taunt him—which was what he was doing, really—with the plans. The teen wasn’t completely sure what it would accomplish but it had to help somewhat, right? If Link got to curious, though…Whatever, he’d relay these things anyway and hope for the best. He’d wait until Kanda wasn’t in the room, though, because if Alma really had been his friend and he’d really killed him—for whatever reason; if Allen had to guess it tied into the fact that Alma had apparently killed the scientists working on the ‘project’, which Tyki had stated earlier—it would likely anger him to hear Allen speaking of him and that definitely wouldn’t end well for either of them.

Allen pushed his plans to inform his ‘shadow’ of the Noah’s plans aside when Tyki started to speak again, telling him that he couldn’t answer the question about why the Fourteenth had tried to kill the Earl. From what he said, it sounded as if the Pianist had done quite a bit of damage in his effort, and guessed from ‘reborn’ that meant that he’d managed to kill all of them except the Earl and Road, if they were the only ones who knew what happened. He didn’t move to stop the Noah from ruffling his hair, as if they were old friends, because he hardly noticed the motion being made. It was when the Noah stood and looked around that Allen realized the sun was beginning to rise and the people were waking up, though the Exorcist remained seated. Great. Both Kanda and Link were probably awake and wondering what had become of him. He was about to rise when Tyki spoke again, then leaned down. At most, Allen was expecting a flick on the forehead or something, instead Tyki kissed his cheek. Silver eyes widened, stunned into not reacting again—something he seemed to be good at while in the man’s company—and he watched as the Noah walked off, waving as he went. That was a motion Allen would have expected from the man’s apparent niece, not from him. In spite of this, though, Allen’s heart had begun to thump loudly. That was just to mess with him, right?

After several minutes of staring in the direction that the elder had gone in, his heart still pounding for some inexplicable reason even though the Noah had gone, Allen stood, making his way towards the hotel slowly. Instead of entering the way he’d exited (which had been through the window) the boy made his way around to the front of the hotel and went up to the room he was forced to share with Link—Kanda’s being the adjoining one—and almost ran into his personal supervisory officer as he pushed open the door. “And where have you been, Walker? Your Golem came back hours ago telling me you were off ‘investigating’ something but not telling me where. Care to explain yourself?” he demanded, moving aside to allow the Exorcist entrance into the room. The teen remained silent for a moment, moving across the room and sitting on the bed. He stared at his hand, trying to think of the best way to tell the other of the Noah’s plans. “Walker? An explanation for your actions?” Link prompted, coming to sit across from the teen on a chair.

Without looking up, the Exorcist began to speak. What came out was the truth. “I couldn’t sleep, though I spent three years here with Master Cross, the heat was getting to me and I needed air. I didn’t see a need to wake you or Kanda, since there wasn’t any threat, though I should have and I’m sorry I didn’t…” he raised his eyes, not making any effort to give the lie he’d thought up while still with Tyki as he continued. “I ran into one of the Noah. Nothing happened…I think he showed up just to mess with me. But…What he said. He started talking about the Third Exorcists and…” a quick glance behind him said that Kanda had yet to show himself in the door that joined the two rooms, though surely the Swordsman was awake and could hear him talking. Despite this, his voice dropped an octave. It seemed from the look on the blond’s face that Allen had captured his attention with the story.

“The Second Exorcists. He…mentioned Kanda. And another. Alma Karma? He said that they were planning on finding and using Alma against us…Do yo—” his question was cut off as the sliding door slammed open loudly, with enough force that Allen could hear the wooden doorframe splinter and break with the impact. Apparently, in spite of his dropped tone, Kanda had heard what he said and decided to interrupt. From the look on his face and the tone he used, Allen wouldn’t have guessed that Alma had been the older Exorcists friend, or that he’d meant anything at all to him. It was a face and tone that revealed a deep-running hatred towards the very mention of him, which made Allen wonder just what Alma had been to him. “He was bluffing. Alma Karma is dead. I killed him myself.”

[Ooc; Do you want to timeskip to the next night? Or keep going through the day? Either way, I can have Kanda and Linkseparated from Allen or off somewhere if you want to bring Tyki to the hotel or something. Or I can have Allen wander off again.]
