Mesy smiled some being pulled out of her thoughts as she heard Nick come in and nodded easily. She wished he didn't have to take care of her... But she kinda didn't mind and even kinda liked it.

Nick gently tugged her up and sat behind her to make sure she could stay up. "Alright, here you go princess" he told her as he placed the tray on her lap "how're you feeling?" he asked as he gently ran his fingers over her arms and back. He tried to be as gentle as possible, aware of her wounds.

Mesy shivered some and actually cringed when he pulled her up... Her body wasn't liking that. "Okay." she said softly though she was lying through her teath... She just didn't want him to neat himself up more. She bowed her head fir a moment then slowly started eating and smiled. "You're cooking is very good." she complimented softly with a smile.

Nick smiled "thanks," he said. He couldn't seem to shake the feeling that she was in more pain then she was letting on. He appreciated her effort, he really did, but he wanted to make sure she was completely comfortable. Unfortunately, he figured that meant no touching. "Are you sure you're feeling alright? Do you want me to find some pain killers?" he asked as his hands dropped and rested on her thighs.

Mesy looked at him a bit worriedly when she felt his hands drop and knew he had seen through her. She slowly nodded softly as she looked at him lovingly. "I'm sorry for not saying anything... It's jet that you always seem to beat yourself for what you did... And you're not hurting me by toutching me." sage said softly to Nick.

Nick smiled softly "Thank you... I really appreciate it. But you know... I screwed up... and I have to deal with it. I'm going to take care of you. I'm not going to let anything take you away. So tell me when you need something, or if something hurts. I can't make it better if you don't tell me. Here, you eat, I'll go get some pain killers. Even if touching you doesn't hurt... moving you might. Eat, I'll be right back" he responded, propping her up with pillows so he could leave. He returned and handed her a couple of pills "here you go, how're you feeling? I want to complete truth this time" he said, moving back into position behind her.

Mesy nodded then ate a bit as she waited for Nick and smiled when he came back in. She took the pills though when they were in her hand she glared at them before sighing and taking them with tge orange juice. She didn't seem to like painkillers one little bit... And it showed... Like there was something deep in her past about it... Though she said nothing of it... She didn't like talking about it though she would tell him if he asked.*

Nick was curious by her reaction to the pain killers, but decided not to push... for now at least. "I mean it. I can't help you if I don't know what's going with you. So tell me... how're you feeling?" he asked, gently brushing her cheek with the back of his hand.

Mesy nodded and smiled back at Nick before eating a little more then looked at him again though not turning her head too much. "I'm okay... sore... but okay." she said quietly seeming to slowly get her voice back... at least that was good.

Nick breathed a sigh of relief and nuzzled his face into her neck "good... promise me that if you need anything, you wont hesitate to ask... alright? please? I want to do things for you... anything. I'm totally ok with you doing things on your own... but while you're recovering... just try and take it easy. Let me take care of you... please?" he asked, mumbling into her neck.

Mesy had stopped eating the peace of bacon she had for a moment when Nick nuzzled into her neck and smiled some swallowing her bite. "Okay." she smiled softly putting her hand up to run her slinder still rather pale fingers throuhg his hair as she ate somemore seeming truly hungry.

Nick smiled when her hand touched his hair. It sent a chill down his spine each time her fingers went through his locks. He wrapped his arms around her waist and nuzzled her neck. He was trying to hold back because she was injured and eating, but he couldn't help but kiss her neck a little bit. He did, however, manage to keep from biting it. He doubted it would be a good idea right now.

(Sorry was out with friends... hopefully he'll be more then a friend... I really like him.)

Mesy smiled and within a few minutes was done eating. She then leaned her head against him cuddling into him some and truly not feeling the pain anymore... even if she hadn't had that pain meds she still wouldn't feel pain right now... she was too comfuretable and was loving their closeness.

Nick smiled when she leaned against him and he kissed up her jawline until his lips claimed hers. He was glad that Elizabeth dumped him... it gave him a chance to meet this wonderful woman. He pushed closer to her as his heart clenched, remembering how wonderful Elizabeth was. he pulled away suddenly and turned away, sighing heavily "I can't... I just can't" he whispered, refusing to face her.

Mesy smiled kissing him back though shivering when he had kissed up her jaw line. She looked at Nick confusedly... What was wrong? Was her body language saying something was wrong when it truly wasn't? "Nick? What's wrong? You weren't bothering ke I swear if that's what it is..." she whispered softly unsure of what had just happened.

Nick sighed and ran a hand through his hair "I really hate to use this line... but it's not you... it's me. You... you were wonderful. But... I guess I just haven't gotten over Elizabeth completely... despite everything she's done to me... I still... love her. I want to love you completely... love you the way you deserve to be loved... but... I don't think I can" he confessed as his eyes traveled to the small jewelry box on the nightstand. He reached out a shaky hand and grabbed it. "That day... that day that... that she left me... it... it was our anniversary. We were going to have a special evening... been planning it for awhile. I... I was going to ask her to marry me that night... But... I guess that's never going to happen, huh?" he asked, his voice shaking slightly. He took a shaky breath and grabbed Mesy's hand, holding it tight. "I'm sorry if my grip is too tight... but I'm afraid I'm going to get up and get a drink right now" he admitted, still refusing to look at her.

Mesy felt a pang of something... A few things... Pain... Fear... Jelusy... Hate of that girl... Want... There was want there... She didn't quite understand that... "Pl... Please don't." she finally said uneasily feeling that the color was gone in her face as she gripped Nick's hand tightly not wanting him to move. She was now feeling a bit dizzy... Though she didn't want to say anything... Not now.

Nick finally turned and nuzzled his face into her hair, breathing the scent in. It calmed his shaking nerves some. "I won't... You're here with me... it's enough to keep me here... But I thought I should let you know that I want it... so you could help me stay away from it. I'm sorry. I really shouldn't be doing this to you. I'm just glad that I have you now... You really are better than Elizabeth... I just... I have a long history with her and it's... it's hard to just put all those memories behind me and start fresh. I do love you... trust me, I do... just... be patient with me as I heal... ok?" he asked, gently taking her chin in his hand and turning it until she was facing him. He leaned forward and rested his forehead on her's, closing his eyes. He sat that way for awhile, sorting through the memories. Mesy was with him... he could deal with the memories. He finally opened his eyes and was pleased to see Mesy. He smiled a small smile and tenderly kissed her. "Just give me some time," came his whisper.

"Of course." Mesy said softly the. Had to lean her head down on his shoulder feeling the dizzieness increase. Her breaths were a bit heavy weaghed down with the affects of the pain killer... They didn't like her just as she didn't like them. "N-n-Nick? I ithink I need to lay down." she whispered quietly as she leaned on him a bit more... Though she wasn't meaning to she just couldn't help it.

Nick went on high alert and nodded, gently laying her down. He ran his fingers through her hair "are you ok? Do you have any clue what's making you feel this way?" he asked. he settled down until he was laying down next to her. He pulled her into his arms and held her. "Just... relax, ok. Why don't you sleep or something, maybe you'll feel better when you wake up?" he suggested.

"I... I'm okay it's just... me and pain killers don't mix well..." Mesy said softly stuttering some as she leaned into Nick. She cuddled into him some and seemed to calm her body her body completely as she rested her head against his chest and listened to his heart and soon found her heart back up to a normal pace and matching his... that made her smile widely.

Nick smiled when he saw her smile "feel better?" he asked, rubbing his hand up and down her arm gently. "I'm sorry... if I'd know pain killer would've done this to you, I wouldn't have offered them. I just wanted you to feel better" he apologized.

mesy smiled and nodded. "Your heart sooths me... And it's fine... I... I dindt think it would bothe me anymore... It's been years..." she murmured softly leaning her head a bit more against his chest still letting his heart beet soothe her. Her breaths were now calm... Even... Content.

Nick calmed down and he kissed her head. "I'm glad you're alright" he whispered as he ran his fingers through her hair. He gazed at her tenderly "have I ever told you how beautiful you are?" he asked her suddenly. She was the prettiest little thing ever... and she chose to be with him. he didn't deserve her.

Mesy blushed some as she heard him and she smiled some. "I'm not sure... I have memory loss big time... well... some things more then others... right now last night was just a bit of a blur... I can barely recall anything..." she said softly and truthfully smiling at him some sheepishly.
