Mesy looked at Nick softly and the girls hadn't seemed to notice as they ate and looked to the side at a tv that had cartoons on it... Mesy's request. Mesy stared harshly at the girl as she started coming over again. "GET THE HECH AWAY FROM US!" Mesy growled the order and Elizabeth stubbled back a step "GET!" she growled again and Eliizabeth scrambled to run off seeing how ticked Mesy was at her. "Are you okay love?" she asked softly leaning over to kiss Nick on the cheek.

Nick smiled widely and pulled Mesy in for a kiss "I'm wonderful. Thank you... I don't know what I would've done otherwise. I love you so much" he answered, pulling her in for another kiss.

Mesy smiled at kissed him back both times wanting them to last longer... though here wasn't the best time or place. "Are you ready to leave? It looks like we're all fineshed eating... the girls are just staring at the tv." she smiled at Nick lovingly.

Nick smiled and nodded before waving the waiter over for the bill. Once the bill was paid he led his family back to the car and drove them all home. "Hey, Mesy, you know that office of mine back home? I could easily clean that out and turn it back into a bedroom for the girls. What do you think?" he asked as he drove. He knew that with the additional members to the family, some arrangements would have to be made. Inside he was hurting, screaming at him for being so harsh to Elizabeth. He still wanted her, but what hurt the most was that she didn't want him, yet she kept coming around. She was right... he didn't let go of things easily. But that's why he had Mesy around, to fight off horrible Exes. His right hand dropped from the steering wheel, reached over, and grabbed her hand. He needed her support and love right now... a part of him was beginning to believe that Elizabeth wanted him back... and if that was true... he would need Mesy to knock some sense into him.

Mesy smiled and nodded. "That sounds perfact! Do you think we could fix that up tonight or do you think we should tomorrow?" she asked squeezing Nick's hand and smiling at him. She then looked back and smiled at the twins who had fallen asleep in the back. "You know... I don't think you need to worry about having to prove yourself to my girls... they already love you you don't need to fight for it or stroggle to get it." she smiled and leaned over to give him a quick kiss on the lips.

Nick smiled then pulled away as the light turned green. "Really? I'm glad. I was worried that it'd take a long time for them to even like me. Anyway, as for the room, I could probably clear it out tonight, but the only spare bed is the one inside the couch. So tomorrow we might be able to go shopping. I don't know how late I'll be, though. I have a major case coming up and I have a lot of work to do. Would you be able to go without me if that's the case?" he asked.

"I suppose... I'd really like you to be with us... but I understand if you can't." Mesy murmured though smiled softly and reasuringly.

Nick smiled and parked the car. He helped Mesy get the girls out and then moved onto the apartment. He put Hena down in his bed and kissed her forehead, hoping that was ok. He kissed Heiwa's forehead and then went to the office to start clearing it out. After about thirty minutes of clearing, he'd managed to move everything into the front room. Then, he sat at the desk and reviewed some of the cases. This, unfortunately, a pattern. Whenever a case came up, he'd have to spend extra hours working at home.

Mesy smiled and took Heiwa in and laid her down after Nick kissed her. She then went and helped Nick clean that room then was cleaning up the front room and making not look so cluttered. "Don't you think you should take a brake hun? You've been working all day." she said softly as she walked back into Nick's office and pulled her arms lightly around his shoulders like she were hugging him.

Nick leaned into her embrace. He was tired. But he had so much that he needed to do. "It's either now or tomorrow, Mes... it has to get done sometime. I'm going to be in court all day Thursday with this, so I either come home at a normal time tomorrow, or I stay late... for who knows how long. Take your pick" he said softly as he nuzzled his face into her neck.

Mesy sighed. "Okay okay... just don't stay up too late okay? I don't feel like seeing you passed out in the morning." she said softly giving him a breif kiss on the lips then going into their room and laying down with her girls. She wrapped her arms around them and pulled the covers up to cover all three of them up then drifted off to sleep.

Nick kissed her back "I promise. I'll see you in the morning" he promised and then went back to reviewing his notes, thinking up the different cases. However, he wasn't true to his promise. He soon lost track of time and eventually fell asleep at the desk, slumped over his notes. He was so exhausted that he didn't even move while he slept. He was still like that when the sun peeked through the window.

When Mesy awoke the next morning she got up and walked to the coach to wake her love... Only to find he wasn't there. She then sighed and went to his ofice. "Nick love, wake up hun." she said softly kissing his neck then his cheek.

Nick grumbled and shifted slightly in his sleep. He laid there a few more minutes before he finally spoke. "Hi," was all he said. His eyes were still closed and it came out as a mumble, but he was waking up. "What time is it?" he groaned as he stretched a bit, nuzzling his faze into Mesy's neck.

"Hi, and it's about... 8ish..." Mesy murmured softly moving his face so she could kiss him on the lips softly. "What did I tell you last night? You know you could have went in and got me if you didn't want to go to bed alone right? I would have laid down with you" she smiled and brushed her lips lightly over his... almost teasingly... and deffinently playfully.

Nick smiled and kissed her back eagerly. He pulled her into his lap and kissed her some more "mmm... I know. I don't know when I fell asleep, I just lost track of time and fell asleep while I was working" he muttered against her lips. "I know I said I wouldn't... but I wanted to get home at a decent hour tonight. And I honestly lost track of time. I thought it'd only been an hour or so" he defended.

Mesy smiled under his lips and always met his eagerness with willingness... she didn't exactly know why she just did... maybe because she was the submissive type? "It's fine I just worry... that could really hurt your back ya know." she murmured softly under his lips with hers staying just slightly open incase he wanted to make out... that was perfactly fine with her anyway.

Nick smiled and kissed her one last time "I'll be alright" he muttered against her lips before getting up. "I'll... try and get home around 4, if I'm not home by 4:30, though, go ahead and head to the store without me" he instructed and wrote his cell number "just call when you leave and I'll meet you there, alright? Don't worry about the price, trust me, I can handle it" he finished with a smile.

"Okay..." Mesy sighed softly as she took the paper then smiled. "I made you some lunch... I kinda figured you might want something to eat... I think you're skinier then me" she laughed poking his belly playfully with a smile and a giggle.

Nick flinched and pulled back, chuckling slightly "thank you. Hey, I need to get ready, alright? I'll see you tonight" he promised with a kiss. He headed back into his room and he grabbed a change of clothes before heading into the bathroom for a shower. Showered, dressed, and ready to go thirty minutes later, Nick tenderly left a lingering kiss on Mesy's lips before walking out the door.

The day seemed to pass slowly after Nick left and Mesy found herself checking the time ofter. 2:00... 2:30... 3:00... 3:30... 4:00... 4:30... 5:00...6:00... 7:00. After about 7-7:30 Mesy started to get worried though went ahead and gave the girls a bath took herself a back and tucked the girls in. She then laid down on the couch and waited for Nick to get home.... which she ended up falling asleep on the couch still waiting.

At 10:00, Nick opened the door with an apology on his lips, only to find that Mesy was asleep. He'd actually finished his expected work on time, but something completely unexpected came up and he just couldn't leave. Nick sighed and leaned against the door. That's what he gets for being the son of the owner of the firm. The one thing his father ever did for him, was give him a job after he graduated law school. That isn't to say that his father doesn't mess around in his life. No, his father was the reason Nick was home so late. He was dragged from meeting to meeting, from 4:00 on, non-stop. Why, Nick wasn't sure. He had no place in the meetings. Those meetings were for those that ran the firm. I should head to bed, he thought to himself. He walked over to the girl's bedroom, kissed their foreheads, then went back to the front room. He gathered Mesy up in his arms, cradling her like she was a small china doll. He quietly walked back to their bedroom and laid her down on the bed. He had a case the next day, but he didn't have to be in court until 2:00. He'd gladly stay in bed with her all morning. He stripped down to his boxers and crawled into bed beside her. Once his arms were securely wrapped around her, he fell asleep, exhausted from the day.

Mesy moved some when she was picked up and then curled to Nick when she was pulled into his arms... she loved that so much. In the morning when she awoke she slowly opened her eyes and looked up slightly at Nick and kissed him on the lips some though hoped she didn't wake him any. That night she had had a nightmare... though she didn't remember that she had a nightmare...

Nick felt the kiss in his sleep and he smiled. His normal dream just turned wonderful. There, standing in front of him, was his beautiful bride... and the priest had just said "kiss the bride." In real life, he curled up to Mesy and pulled her closer to him. He could probably sleep through anything, he was so tired right now.

Mesy smiled and curled into him a bit and was soon back asleep. After a bit she had this cold feeling... like... death. She woke with a gasp and clung some to Nick feeling that death may be close by... then she feared for her two little girls also. "Nick love... um please wake up." she said softly looking around and to her the room started to get dark and shady... she didn't like that.... not one little bit.
