"Sure, I don't really see why it would be. All I have to do is explain the situation, then we should be fine" Nick reassured her and helped her up. He guided her to his car and opened the door for her. Once they were in, he started the car and drove home. it was a relatively short drive home, so he used that time to think of the best way to explain the situation to Mesy. In the end, however, he decided there really was no good way to explain it to her. He was just going to see what happened and no matter what, make sure she knew that he and Elizabeth were no more than friends.

"Okay..." Elizabeth said softly and fallowed him to his car getting in with him. During this time Mesy had been trying to keep her girls busy doing something. There had only been about two times that she was completely knocked out of it... thank goodness the girls weren't near her in either times. She sat in the tv room and was whaching a movie with the girls as she glanced at the clock and bit her lip wondering when Nick would be home.

Nick opened the door for Elizabeth and let her in "I'm home" he called out. He led Elizabeth to the front room and saw his family sitting on the couch. He smiled and walked over to them, "how were you three while I was away?" he asked. He hoped that he could get them to warm up to him first before he pointed out Elizabeth's presence... though... he expected that Mesy already knew.

"Well these two were anoying and bugging me about you all day." Mesy laughed some and stood up to give Nick a hug and light kiss on the lips knowing Elizabeth was there... though she didn't care if she kissed Nick in front of the girl or not. "Papa!!!" The twins exclaimed and both attacked his legs wanting to give him a hug.... though they weren't tall enough to reach that high.

Nick smiled and pulled Mesy in for a deep kiss. He wanted to make sure she understood who his choice was. After the twins attacked his legs, he pulled away and bent down to give them a hug. "Ohhhhhhh!!! I have someone I want you to meet. Everyone, this is my dear friend, Elizabeth. Elizabeth, his is Hena, Heiwa, and Mesy" he introduced. Elizabeth smiled shyly and waved "hi" she said softly. Nick was going to use their reaction to determine the words he chose next.

When Nick kissed Mesy like that... she was sure that nothing could be wrong and didn't seem to mind too much. The twins turned some and smiled widely waving at Elizabeth some "HI!!! CAN WE CALL YOU LIZZY?" they asked extaticly and Mesy couldn't help but laugh at her doubters. "Hi... I don't believe last time we were introdused formally." Mesy smirked some though it was more from her doubters then anything else... and it wasn't a mean smirk either... more of a playful one since her kids were being goofy.

Nick smiled, glad that Elizabeth was accepted so easily. He met Elizabeth's gaze and gave her a reassuring nod. Elizabeth smiled back at Mesy "yeah... sorry about that, by the way" she said softly and turned to the twins "and of course you two can call me Lizzy, it's my favorite nickname" she replied with a bright smile. It seemed that motherhood was already hitting her. "Hena, Heiwa, do you mind if she comes with us to the park?" Nick asked the twins, crouching down so he was eye level with the girls. Meanwhile, Elizabeth found herself watching Mesy. Yet, at the same time, she had a hard time meeting her eyes. She was ashamed of all the trouble she'd caused earlier.

"Don't worry... I'm more forgiving then it appears half the time." Mesy smiled and walked around Nick some to offer Elizabeth her hand in a friendly gesture. If her doubters could accept her Mesy supose she could too. "Sure!!!" the twins squeeled together then tackled Nick since he was now at their level.

Nick grunted as he was flown back but the he laughed and began to tickle them both mercilessly. Elizabeth smiled and took Mesy's hand. "Nick told me what happened... I'm glad that he's happy" she told her, her other hand coming up to touch her stomach as she watched Nick play with the twins. Would he play like that with her child? She turned back to Mesy and smiled "What was it like, raising the twins?" she asked. She wanted to know how Mesy mothered her children.

"Well... It wasn't easy... Not at all. I was all alone and I was only like 15 and a half... Maybe 16. Their father was a jerk, their grandgarents hated their mother, and their mother ran away with them... So... Yeah I had to run from my life or they might not even have theirs. I actually just got them back with Nick's help... We had gotten sepporated and I couldn't find them for nothing... I kinda had a feeling they were here... So when Nick made that deal... He took me to find them." Mesy said softly and smiled a bit. "Don't worry you already have a suport group to back you up and help you out." she smiledmore knowing Elizabeth was pregnant by the way she was holding herself and how she was acting.

Elizabeth smiled softly and nodded "that's what Nick said... that he'd take care of me. Has he adopted them, then? The twins I mean" Elizabeth asked. She wasn't sure if she should tell her that the child belonged to Nick. How would that change things? would it change anything at all? It finally was eating at her so much that she had to say it. "It's his... the baby, I mean... it's... it's Nick's" she admitted. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Nick being dominated by the twins. He looked over at them and watched them as he was wrestled to the ground by the twins.

"Yeah... He did, I didn't have the money for the forms." Mesy smiled some as her eyes drifted to her girls then back to Elizabeth. She didn't know what to say about that... She wasn't really mad or anything... She wasn't really sure what she was. "Ya know... Somehow, I kinda figured as much..." she murmured softly though gave the girl a little friendly smile that said everything was okay. The twins smiled and teared some when they had won and were both sitting on top of Nick smiling triumphtly.

Nick lay there, playing dead as the twins crawled on top of him. He cracked an eye open and made the motion of a giant getting up, complete with a roar. "Hahahaha! It will take more than that to defeat me, fair maidens. Now, I will eat you!!!!" he cried in a deep growl and scooped the girls up into his arms, smothering their faces with kisses complete with an "omnomnomnom" sound.

Elizabeth giggled some when she saw Nick playing with the girls. "He must really love them... he used to be afraid of kids" she commented softly. "Now... soon he'll be a father three times over. It's amazing how much he's changed in just a few weeks. He stopped drinking, he loves kids, he's playing with them, he's... much better now then when he was with me. So... in that sense... I'm glad that he chose you. He's better off" she commented as she observed Nick.

Mesy smiled and started laughing as she heard her girls crying and fussing at Nick for kissing them "EWWY!! STOP STOP STOP WE GIVE WE GIVE!" The twins giggled out a cry of defeat and Mesy grinned at them then looked to Elizabeth her eyes soft with a soft smile. "Well... with the alcohol thing he didn't make that choise... I did. I poured all of it out... and I almost did slap him for that though I didn't... as for the girls... I think it's because they never had a father and they started calling him Papa, they never called him Nick. Well before I got the girls back he had really no choice but to be around a child sometimes... at least it's not so bad as it is with bunnys...." she smiled then grumbled the last part thinking of when he almost threw her in her bunny form. She then smiled and gestured to the couch for them to sit with a kind and gentle smile on her lips.

Elizabeth smiled and took the offered seat. Thank you "what do you mean bunnies? what happened?" she asked.

Nick, sympathetic to their pleas, agreed and stopped. e gave them a big hug and then got up "you two go get ready for today, alright, I'm going to stay here with your mother and Lizzy, alright?" he ordered before plopping himself down next to Mesy "How're you two getting along?" he inquired.

"Well... he already told you how he could see me when I was dead so... yeah and eventually you'd figure it out from the girls. I'm a usaugi, a bunny demon. And Nick found that out the hard way when he had fallen asleep with me on the coach... he kinda woke up with a little bunny in his arms." Mesy said smiling a bit sheepishly.

The girls smiled and giggled and nodded running to their room and getting ready to go out with Nick, Elizabeth, and their mother.

"We're doing just fine." Mesy smiled and Elizabeth nodded smiling some.

Nick smiled "wonderful, I knew you two could get along well" he said. "Oh, and Elizabeth, believe everything she says about me, it's all true. no matter what it is, it's true" he said with a wink.

"Are you... crazy?" Elizabeth asked, studying her former lover. Nick grinned widely "eh, the twins rubbed off on me. I'm doomed for the rest of my life to act this way" he answered with a chuckle. Elizabeth simply responded by raising an eyebrow at him.

"He had told you he wasn't crazy before... do you want profe he's not crazy? That is if your little expereance before didn't freak you out enough... I'm shocked you would say that after that 'Little Girl' appeared out of nowhere." Mesy smirked some ow too willing to show the woman her buny form. She wasn't worried about the other woman, if she was then she would tell Nick a straight up no she doesn't trust her here.

Nick grinned "nope, not crazy, just high on life" he commented. Elizabeth smirked some "he knows I was only kidding around. We have a code that we developed. It's ok to call him crazy, because that refers to his actions. Insane refers to his mental status. It's not ok to even bring it up, see?" Elizabeth explained, indicating Nick, who's face had gone dark at the mention of insane. He shook it off, though "yeah, when I'm really happy I tend to act in a way I normally don't, so we thought up this code awhile ago to ask why I'm acting so out of character, yet keep me from flipping out. I've actually... gotten a good hold on my temper. When I first met Elizabeth, at the mere mention of... that word... and I'd flip out. Now I just get angry. It's like there's this mental trigger in my mind. Whenever that word is mentioned, I react. But yeah, i didn't tell you about it earlier because it hadn't become an issue, back then, the change was drastic. Now, you don't know me any other way, so there's no need to question it. That and it never came up, plus my mind was focused elsewhere" he clarified with a smile, pulling Mesy into a hug and planting a small kiss on her lips. "Are you ready to go? because I think I hear the twins" he asked.

"Ow okay... yeah I am" Mesy smiled after kissing Nick back lightly. She then smiled as she saw her two dobters run up with their cute little dress like jackets on and smile at Nick. "WE'RE READY!" they anonced together and Mesy giggled some at them

Nick chuckled and helped her up, then helped Elizabeth up. "Well then, let's go" he suggested and led them all to the car. They squeezed in and he drove to the park "We're here" he announced when they arrived, opening the door for the twins before opening the door for Elizabeth and finally Mesy.

"YAY" the twins cheared happily and Mesy laughed some as she got out and made sure that the girls wouldn't go far... witch surprisingly for kids their age they didn't stray far from their mothers sides... they didn't want to get seporated again like before.

Nick smiled and wrapped his arms around Mesy and Elizabeth's waists and led them to a park bench. He sat in-between them and looked at them both, almost expecting the twins to pull him away to go play with them. "So... what now?" he asked, keeping an eye on the twins.

Mesy smiled softly ANC leaned agaist Nick happily. "Just relax I guess?" she smiled as she watched the twins play on the swings, slides, see-saws, jungle gim, and kinky bars happily.

Nick smiled and placed his arms around the girls as he leaned his head on the back of the bench "I like that idea. Wake me when I'm needed" he replied. Elizabeth giggled when Nick closed his eyes and instantly curled up to Mesy, like a child would to their mother.
