Mesy smiled and laughed some. "Okay you can NOTcomplain about this in no way shape or form... Yeah I'm being used as his pillow pretty much." she grinned some to Elizabeth though ran her fingures lightly through Nick's hair lovingly.

Elizabeth smiled "I guess he was really tired... he's out like a light" she observed as she noticed how soft his breathing was. it was true, though. The week had caught up with Nick, and now that he could actually relax, his exhaustion overcame him. he hadn't even realized how tired he was. This wasn't any normal exhaustion, though. This was the exhaustion that came from a mixture of stress from the break-up, Mesy being thrown into his life, making a deal with death, the twins, and anything else from work. It all just came together. He'd been forcing himself to act normal, but now that he'd taken care of things with Elizabeth, and he basically didn't have anymore worries... he allowed himself to relax. Once he let go... he fell apart and collapsed into a dreamless sleep.

Mesy smiled and continued to run her fingures through Nick's hair. "He's had a heck of a week..." she smiled as she watched her kids. She would have loved to fall asleep also... But she couldn't and wouldn't, she needed to watch her doubters.

Elizabeth smiled softly "it's amazing how he has the ability to be carrying the world record for stress, yet he can act like nothing's wrong. He can look completely awake, accomplish things as though he was never stressed... I can just imagine what he'd been carrying earlier to make him pass out so quickly like that" she mused, glad that he had Mesy. "You've been good to him... I hate to say it... but I'm glad he chose you" she pointed out.

Nick, on the other hand, had finally moved onto dreams. Though, his dream was more of a nightmare... a memory. For about 5 years, he was... horrible. He smoked, did drugs. He never drank though. By then he had already seen the damage it could cause. He'd stay out until the late hours of the night and then finally sneak in. It was horrible at home... he was adopted so he never felt as though he was really seen as one of the family. So he decided to do it. Life wasn't worth it. It was the first day of his junior year of high school, he was going to commit the act when he got home. He never did, though... that was the day he met Elizabeth. The nightmare turned into a dream. Elizabeth was new to the school so was lost. One minute, he was walking to class, the next, he was flat on the ground with a gorgeous girl on top of him. He stared at her, too stunned to exclaim out in anger. The girl got up, apologizing profusely, to which Nick just smiled. When they found out the had the same first period, he offered to show her the way. It was the start of a wonderful day. That girl actually... accepted him. Even when she learned what he was, she stayed with him. From that day onward... they were inseparable.

Mesy smiled some at Elizabeth then looked to her girls again just checking on them like always... like every few minutes. "Thank you... He had said he just wished that he met me a bit earlier... so we could avoid what happened... I wish that also... I.... no one could ever imagen what it would be like... to have that happen... to have nothing but red and black all around you and swallowing you whole... The presure on your chest even when nothings there... and ya know what... I never hated him... never... I... I wish we met a different way... though I'm okay with what happened." Mesy said softly almost whispering though did smile some at Elizabeth hoping what she was saying didn't bother her.

Elizabeth looked down, a sad look on her face. "It's... very difficult to hate him. From the moment I met him... I just... felt attached to him. I learned all sorts of horror stories from him. How he was supposedly insane, he wasn't even human... all sorts of things. But I stuck with him. He used to call me his guardian angel, when we were younger. I asked him once, why he did that... he told me it was because my presence at his side stopped him from making many bad decisions. Just the simple fact that I stayed with him, changed how he acted. Yeah, when we got older he started getting really stressed at work, and he started drinking a bit, even though he hated the stuff. Our first break up, he drank some more. He progressively got worse, drinking more and more as time went by. it wasn't until about two years ago that he accepted the fact that he drank away the stress. He didn't stop, though. Supposedly it was the only thing that helped. Shortly after that was when he became his worse with the drinking. It was... interesting, when he came home that night. That was the only time that I locked my door while he slept on the couch. It's scary... I'm glad you forced the alcohol out of his life. He's a much better man because of it. How's he holding up? Considering how fast he fell asleep, this would be one of the weeks where he constantly had some alcohol in his system" Elizabeth asked.

"He's... okay. I mean earier this week... before I pored that crap out... he snuck it by me... twice I believe. I'm sorry... If what I was saying bothered you... he's a sweet heart ya know... when he's not drunk. I hate... and I absolutely hate alcohal... my mother was an alcoholic... she beat me... she wanted me dead... that's why when I had the twins I ran off... I didn't want her to take her anger at me out on them." Mesy murmured softly her eyes soft and pained as she said this.

"That's why I stayed with him, no matter how drunk he was. I knew what he was really like. What was it like, being a single mother? I mean... I know I'll have a support group, definitely enough financial support... but I'll still be a single mom. At the end of the day, it will be just me and the baby. Do you have any advice or something?" Elizabeth asked.

Around that time, Nick started to come out of his slumber. He heard Elizabeth and Mesy talking, but he couldn't bring himself to even open his eyes or move. He was just so tired. On top of that, Mesy's hand, going through his hair (he'd know that touch anywhere) felt really relaxing.

Mesy thought for a long moment. "Well... Yeah it is a bit hard... Corse I had no one to help at all and we were traveling most of the time... Though it's rewording. When you rais your chdren and it's only you... You grow this strong bond... So very very strong of a bond..." she smiled not noticing that Nick was even close to being awake as she smiled some at Elizabeth.

Nick managed to move, slightly. "Don't worry about a thing, Liz" he mumbled, still too tired to do much of anything else.

Elizabeth jumped, surprised, "when did you wake up, sleepyhead?" she asked. Nick grumbled "about a minute or so" came his tired mumble "What did I miss? he asked.

"Oh, not much, Mesy and I were just talking about you, being mothers, all that fun stuff" Elizabeth answered.

Mesy smiled some not really startled by Nick waking up and talking. She moved just a little to kiss his forehead. She then looked up to check on her girls. "Nick, love, move for a minute... I'll be back." Mesy said worriedly as she pushed Nick up into a sitting position then got up and quick walked over to the playground. She looked around for a moment the sighed in releif as she saw her girls were just in this small unseen from the other side part ofthe playground. "Girls you know I want to be able to see you so come on and back to the front." she said softly but stirnly and the girls listened right away. "Sorry Momma." they whimpered some and Mesy sighed and rubbed their heads. "It's okay I just don't want to loose you again." she said softly leaning down to eye level with her kids and they nodded in agreement and gave their mother a short hug before going back to the swings. Mesy sighed heavily and walked back to the binch and sat back next to Nick with her eyes closed and her head back.

Nick groaned when he was pushed upright and basically slept while sitting up. When Mesy came back, he leaned against her some more, but only briefly so he could pull her into a hug and onto his lap. He planted a loving kiss on her lips and held her. he stopped himself from doing more, Elizabeth was with them and he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable. "How are the twins?" he asked.

"Little heart attacks." Mesy murmured some after kissing Nick back and settling comfortably in his lap. She wasn't ashamed or scared to kiss Nick in front of Elizabeth... though she was kinda ashamed of when she almost walked in on them.... that was extremely embarisine.

"Wonderful. Don't you love it when kids give you heart attacks? I love heart attacks, they're so much fun" Nick commented dryly, allowing the sarcasm to show through as he rolled his eyes. He felt a lot better then he has in a long time... all because of a small little nap.

Elizabeth smiled "I don't know... I think I'd rather go without the heart attacks. They sound dangerous" she commented. "Why? That takes all the fun out of it. Everyone knows that the biggest thrill is putting your life in danger. That said, why would you want to avoid the heart attacks? that's better then jaywalking during rush hour, or jumping off a cliff" he commented with a wry smile.

(you got me backwards XD no wnhe Elizabeth almost walked in on Mesy and Nick not the other way around XP )

Mesy rolled her eyes and sighed heavily. "Hey no joke I almost did have a heart attack once... when the girls vanished? Yeah... I think later on I actually had to go to the hospital because of some problem that came after that." she huffed not even liking joking about that kind of thing... she had went threw it they hadn't and she hoped they never did.

Nick smiled and pulled Mesy in "awwww, I'm sorry. I'm awful, I know. I shouldn't joke about that kind of thing. I'm sorry, forgive me?" he asked, pouting slightly. Get a hold of it, Nick. watch what you say. You should've known that saying those things would make her upset. get it together! he chided himself, feeling horrible that he'd said those things. He couldn't help it, really... he enjoyed sarcasm and he'd never had children before. Previously, he always had said he didn't want children, he wouldn't be able to handle them. It seemed that he was going back to that mentality. He loved Mesy, that was for sure, he just needed to watch how he acted so he didn't hurt her. Because that's all I do... hurt her... he thought grimly to himself.

"It's okay... It's okay if you jake and stuff... just... not that topic, any other topic is fine, just not that one." Mesy said smiling some hoping he wouldn't beat himself up too awful much about it... Ow I should have warned him! Ow he's probably thinking he's so horrible for saying that... I just hadn't thought about it he didn't know. She moaned mentally wishing she had told Nick about that sooner.

Nick smiled slightly and tightened his arms around her. "Alright, never again, alright. It's weird... having kids... I'll admit it, I think I might've been slightly crazy when I helped you find them and get them back, because I never wanted kids. But... I'm glad I have them" he said softly, kissing her cheek. He noticed the sun going down "I think it's time to head home, don't you? You're welcome to join us for dinner, Elizabeth" he observed, turning to Elizabeth at the end. "Oh, no, thank you though. I'm going out with my mother. She's heading home tomorrow so we're having dinner tonight" Elizabeth declined. "Alright, some other time, then" Nick said with a smiled. Elizabeth nodded, smiling "absolutely" she said and stood "in fact, thank you for reminding me of the time, I should get going, don't worry, I don't need a ride" she said, excusing herself "alright, call if you need anything" Nick said. Elizabeth nodded and walked off. "What should we have for dinner tonight? I think eating at home would be good tonight. What do you think?" Nick asked, turning his attention back to Mesy.

"Hm... well... we do have pasta... and I make some mean chili!" Mesy smiled after waving bye to Elizabeth. "What do you think? Do you like chili?" she asked then called for the girls to come back over and snickered hearing them whine though come down anyway.

Nick placed a kiss on Mesy's lips "pasta and chili sounds great" he told her before sanding up, placing Mesy back on her feet. He this this just in time, the twins were almost where they were.

"Okay." Mesy smiled after kissing Nick back. The girls smiled tiredly and both looked like they had worn themselves out and were ready for a nap... yes... they were four they still took naps.

((I'm 20 and i take naps XD, plus, in kindergarten, don't they have nap time? that's 5. Ok, just to check, Hena is black hair, heiwa is white?))

Nick smiled, picked up Hena, and led his family to the car. Once they got there, he settled Hena into the car and got in the car, waiting for Mesy to join him up front before he started the car.

(yes they do ^^ I just put that there just because... just to show that they did take naps ^^ and no sorry you got it backwards again ^^ Nope Heiwa has black hair... Heiwa means peace so... just think of the opposite. Black is normally considered as evil like red so that is not peace ^^ )

Mesy also picked up one of her girls and walked to the car with Nick setting Heiwa down in the back next to her sister, fastening them in, and fastening herself in before Nick started driving. Within just a few short minutes the twins were out cold leaning against each other and this made Mesy laugh some. "Looks like another quiet night... man you sure know how to whipe them out don't ya?" she laughed some more then turn looking back at Nick instead of her girls

Nick smiled Nick smiled inwardly. Well... at least if she and I ever have a baby, the night will be quiet, he thought to himself as he reached over and grabbed Mesy's hand, keeping his eyes on the road. "Do you think they'll wake up for dinner?" he asked. He soon pulled into the parking lot and parked. He got out and gently lifted Hena into his arms, cradling her so he wouldn't wake her. He followed Mesy to the apartment and opened the door for her. "Here, give me Heiwa, I'll go put them in bed" he offered, holding his free arm.

"I think so... Not too sure." Mesy said softly and lightly squeezed Nick hand. She helped him in with the girls holding Heiwa's sleeping form then going and tucking them both in bed. "They should be... If not they'll sleep through the night." she smiled some before going into the kitchen and setting to work on their dinner.
