Mesy blushed a little as she thought and laughed a little nevousely. "Well... I... think it's sweet... I... really... don't know what to really say to that." she blushed a little letting her mind wonder over the thought... she loved the thought really... but she couldn't help but to be nurvious... was he going to propose? Now?! but... what if they weren't ready for that?...

Nick bit his lip and looked down somewhat. He found that he was holding his breath more than he was breathing, so he forced himself to breathe for a bit before he spoke again. "Would... would you be open to the idea?" he asked quietly, his voice shaking slightly. He never realized how nervous he'd be. But... it had to be done. He wanted to do this... and everyone else they know keep telling them they should. He lifted his eyes slightly so that he could meet hers, even though he was afraid of the rejection.

"Yeah... of course!... I... I love the idea really... but... do you think it might be too soon for us? I mean... we've only really known eachother for about two weeks... I... I'm just a bit worried that might be a little bit stressful.... but... I love the idea." Mesy said her face getting even redder as she spoke.

Nick placed his hand on her cheek "If not now, then when? Yeah... it's a little soon... but our circumstances are unique. And I know that my parents, especially my mom, are going to hound me about marrying you and doing this the proper way... I... I don't want to feel pressured into asking you. I don't want you to say yes unless you really mean it... but... honestly I don't think I'll ever gather the courage again" he answered, chuckling at the end. "I want to marry you, Mesy. I want to have a family with you, more than just Hena and Heiwa. I... I don't want to just live with you... I want to marry you" he pleaded, whispering the last part.

Mesy paused to listen to Nick for a long moment then slowly a smile spread from ear to ear. She then wrapped her arms around his nech again and smiled at him giving him a light kiss on the lips. "You know I love you... I love that idea... I love the thought... and I will love the reallity." she smiled happily and kissed him again unable to hold herself back from that.

Nick laughed some and kissed her back happily. He pulled back and just stared at her. "I have a ring... you know. But I can get another one, if you want. It was the ring I was going to use on Elizabeth, after all. But it belongs to the love of my life... so it's yours, if you want it" he offered.

Mesy had to pause for a second though only smiled again. "Ya know...really it's only simbolic... I don't care what ring it is... I'm sure if you picked it out for the love of your life it's going to be beauteful no matter what." she smiled lightly at him then looked up some when she thought she heard the sound of giggling... the twins must have been either playing or they were standing close to the door.

Nick smiled and looked up when he heard the giggling. He smiled and pulled Mesy into his lap, simply holding her. "Good" he replied, planting a kiss on her lips. "When should we tell them?" he asked, vaguely noting that it was almost lunchtime.

"They might already have heard... if not we tell them at lunch... you hungry yet?" Mesy asked lightly thinking on what they had to eat though was still a bit destracted by the thought of getting married... her... getting married... to Nick... them getting maried... it seemed so odd... and yet so right in so many ways.

Nick smiled as his stomach took the cue to grumble "I'll... take that as a yes and say that I am" he chuckled. He stood up and helped Mesy up "do you need any help with lunch?" he asked as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"No... not really I was just thinking sandwitches or something easy like that... unless you wanted something else." Mesy smiled some leaning up to kiss Nick lightly on the lips... right now she couldn't really rezist it. She was so happy right now... she had never been so happy... well except the day she got her girls back.

Nick smiled and kissed her back, marveling in the glow that was radiating off of her. "No, sandwiches are fine" he muttered against her lips. "You go take care of that, I'll get the girls and your ring" he promised and left. He grabbed the ring from his night stand, slipped it into his pocket and went to the girl's door. "Hena, Heiwa, lunchtime" he announced.

Mesy smiled and nodded headind to the kitchen and started to prepare their lunches. "PAPPA!" the girls smiled and ran over to tackle his legs hyporly. They giggled happily and looked up at Nick cutely. They could be so cute when theyvwanted to be... Though they could also be little devils sometimes too.

Nick smiled and picked the girls up "Ohhhhhhh!!!! I'm so glad to see you. Guess what, you're going to meet your cousins at thanksgiving. They're around your age too" he told them as he walked over to the kitchen. He sat them in their chairs and walked over to Mesy. He pulled her into his arms and planted a kiss on her lips. He pulled the box out of his pocket and opened it in front of her. "A small trinket of my love, my lady?" he told her, revealing a beautiful and delicate diamond ring.

"YAY!!!" The girls giggled happily hugging Nick then sat in their chairs smiling some. "OW MY GOSH! NICK THAT'S BEAUTIFUL!!!" Mesy exclaimed happily and wrapped her arms around his neck smiling at him happily. She then gave him a light kiss on the lips and pulled away a bit so she could finish making lunch. "Go wash your hands girls you know the rooms." Mesy called over her shoulder then laughed some as she heared her girls whine though go off to wash their hands.

Nick smiled, kissed her cheek, and slipped the ring on her finger before sitting down. "I'm glad you like it" he responded with a chuckle as he watched his fiancee. He loved saying that... fiancee.

Mesy smiled and admired the ring for a moment before starting to work on lunch again. When she was done she brought some plates over with sandwitches, carats, and cucombers on them. She sat the vegies near the girls and herself and handed the food out to whom it belonged.

Nick watched Mesy in admiration, hardly noticing when his sandwich was placed in front of him. He leaned over and placed his lips next to her ear "do you want to tell them or do you want me to?" Nick asked in a low, seductive purr, placing a small kiss on her earlobe when he was finished. He grabbed her hand and ran his thumb over her tender skin. He loved how the ring looked on her.

Mesy just about melted when she heard his voice so low and subductive. "You can if you want..." she murmured softly when she was done and lightly curled her hand in his not minding how his skin wasn't exactly the softest thing ever.

(sorry I've been off and on that's how it's going to be until next week then later it'll start back up cuz I'm doing eSchool and have a scedual XP though it's better then public schools I guess :3 )

Nick smiled and kissed Mesy's cheek again. "Alright. Hena, Heiwa... um... your mom and I have something to tell you" he told them, suddenly very nervous. He could propose to her all he wanted, but telling the kids scared him to death. He didn't even want to think about how his parents would take the news.

((I'm thinking that if today is saturday, then the upcoming thursday is thanksgiving, how's that sound?))

The girls looked up to Nick and Mesy and Mesy looked at Nick a bit worriedly. "Nick's gonna be your daddy... We're getting married isn't that wonderful?" Mesy said and both the girls smiled widely. "YAY!!!... Can we be the flower girls?" they asked happily seeming very open and exited about the news. "Sorry for putting you on the spot love... I didn't think it would bother you like that." Mesy said softly to Nick hoping he was okay and would be okay.

Nick smiled and kissed Mesy's cheek. "it's alright, I thought I'd be ok with it. But when it came time for the execution, I got scared to death. Kind of like how I was when they first came into my life... I didn't know how they would react. You, at least, I knew you'd probably say yes, even though it was so early. Them... as strange as it sounds... I'm still not sure exactly where I stand with them... give me time, though... I'll come around" he explained then turned to the twins "of course! What kind of parents would we be if we didn't let our daughters be the flower girls?" he asked them, a wide smile on his face.

"YAY!!!" The girls cheared and Mesy laughed some. "Ya know they love ya right? And it's not just because they see that I love you... they see that I trust you yes though they love you because they want to love you." she smiled some to Nick lightly running her fingures along his neck smiling some.

Nick smiled and nodded "I'm slowly figuring that out. It's taking awhile, though... I'm not used to being loved and cared about. Before it was just Elizabeth. This is new to me... I like it... it's just hard for me to accept that anyone can care like that. But I accepted it with you, and I'm learning with the girls. I do love them... that makes it easier. It's easier to understand their love when I love them back. I hope they like their cousins. I haven't seen them in awhile so I don't know what they're like. The oldest two are boys, though. The only girl is their baby, and she's not going to be doing much playing with the others, I would imagine" he told her, putting his arm around her.

"I'm sure they'll love to have someone to play with." Mesy smiled before realizing the girls had ran off and laughed slightly. "I guess they got borad." she laughed a little though leaned into Nick some. "So... what is your family like?... ya know I've never really had that much of a family... I mean... I was never wanted and always abused so... yeah.." she asked softly wanting to know about them before she actually net them.
