Nick sighed "I wish I could take the pain away... I truly do" he told her, reaching out to brush her hair away from her face. His hand came in contact with the spirit and he shivered slightly, it was cold. He was careful to keep his hand from going through her, but he couldn't help it when he pushed her hair. It never moved. He sighed slightly and pulled his hand back, resisting the urge to check her out. He attributed it to the fact that he was still drunk.

Mesy shivered also when his hand... wemt through her some? She then sighed and thought for a long minute thinking hard about something. Slowly her form phazed back to her childish form and just sat there... though it didn't really seem she knew what had just been going on... even though tectnicly she had been part of the conversation. She looked up to see Nick and smiled childishly and cutely. "Why do you look so sad?" she asked ablivious to the conversation... and seeming just as a curious little child.
(He he he X3 she has split personallities XD ha ha! Well jtlyk she will be able to be solid in her real age though right now she can't be)

Nick swallowed when she transformed into the solid form "uhm... because I did something that I shouldn't have done... and some people got hurt... and I'm very sorry about it" he told her, purposefully making it vague. She's just too cute! Especially when she's so oblivious to the conversation she just had with me... I'm such a pedo... Nick thought grimly.

"Ow..." Mesy said not knowing exactly what else she could say as she plopped down on her butt and stared off into deep space then started looking around her. She was just like a little kid, so distracted all the time by every little thing. At some point she just started staring at the cieling trying to find shapes... not the best idea ever... after a few minutes of staring she accidently fell backwareds with a slight 'eep' sound. Quickly she sat back up and started looking around again... this much have looked very amusing to whach.

Nick bit back a laugh as he watched Mesy be such a kid. I remember doing that as a kid... it was fun, he thought to himself as he gazed fondly at her. "Right... well... um... are you hungry?" he asked preparing to stand up and go to the kitchen.

Mesy looked at Nick and thought for a long moment "Uh huu" she said and got up... a bit off balnce though. It was shocking to hear that out of... a dead girl... though to think about it this form didn't exactly seem 'dead' though it wasn't alive either... just like she was there but she might not have been...

Nick stood and steadied her before leading her to the kitchen, sitting her down at a chair at the bar. "Alright... how does grilled cheese sound?" he asked as he opened the fridge and looked through it.

"I LOVE GRILLED CHEESE!" She smiled easily seeming just a bit hypor. It seemed as long as she was in this state she was rather easy to get along with and to talk to... and she was ablivious to the fact she was dead or that he was the one that killed her... that was a good thing so to be assumed.

Nick chuckled and began preparing the food. Once it was cooking, he got a couple glasses and filled them with milk, handing one to her "here you go, I have chocolate mix too, if you want" he offered, flipping the bread. He checked the time, it was somewhere around 4 in the morning. He chuckled at that grilled cheese at 4 in the morning... how interesting, he mused

(Hm... I supose that's fine though I'm not sure sense we just started this and I try to stear away from too much skipping... and what would we have happen? My girl's a child solid ghost... though I could imagen Nick crashing then later waking up and not seeing where she was even though she had been watching tv or something... and he maybe goes looking for her...)

((well it's 4 in the morning, we're going to have to do some sort of skip for the sleeping. How about... he wakes up with a total hangover, and can't remember anything of last night... including having killed her. It was kind of unnerving me how sober he was acting when he was so smashed. Maybe he could like... freak out while he's making breakfast when he remembers bringing a child home and he can't find her so he looks for her, only to find her doing whatever. but yeah, hangover >=) ))

(Okay! actually I was thinking on that also XD and could we say he has like a balkony attached to his apartment? and she's like sitting out there? Or she could be sitting at a window just staring outside XD she always gets destacted so X3 though she would be in her child form of course)

Nick woke up with a pounding headache "ugh... I hate hangovers" he muttered as he tried to recall what happened last night. He stumbled out to his kitchen and got a glass of water. As he drank he noticed an extra set of dishes in the sink. Someone else had been here last night. The image of a young girl eating grilled cheese with him flashed in his mind. A child. He gulped some more water and mused on why the girl would be there. Then he recalled her true form, beaten and bloody. Now he remembered. He was a murderer... but where was Mesy. "Mesy!?" he called out, getting no answer. He set his glass down and began to search. He finally spotted her on his balcony and he sighed with relief as he opened the door "thank goodness, I thought you'd disappeared on me" he said as he walked up to her.

Mesy didn't get any sleep that night and had found that Nick's appartment had a balcony. She sat out there most of the night which kept her most destracted as she whached things such as cars and lights and birds go by. When morning came she was still outside whaching people pass on the sidewalk and streat below. Her attention was then snatched up again as she heard Nick and turned around to smile at him childishly. "Sorry I just like looking at the little people on the streat and the birds... and the cars!" she smiled seeming just a bit hypor and then got destracted again by a butterfly that kept flying right over her head. She stared up at it for a long time then got dizzy from whaching it and plopped down on her butt with a light "ooph" sound.

(he he he she's sooooooooooooo cute XD had to do that! It just came into my mind and I felt like writing it X3 )

Nick chuckled and sat down next to her. "Are you cold?" he asked, looking at her. Gosh... she must be the cutest thing ever... I wonder---DON'T YOU DARE GO THERE NICK!! he thought to himself, stopping just in time before his mind wandered into a more... adult area.

(Heh heh heh! He's not gonna stop thinking about having his way with her is he XD )

Mesy thought for a moment before her smile came back and she shook her head. "Nope!" she smiled giggling some as she looked at Nick then back up to see the butterfly was still there and continued to whach it "Pritty" she finally deamed the butterfly and giggled when another came along and landed on her nose for a moment then flew up with the other one.

Nick watched her fondly as she played with the butterflies. "Very pretty" he agreed before lapsing into silence again. After a few more minutes, he spoke "well, how about I put together some breakfast for us, what would you like?" he asked her, thinking of all the different things he actually knew how to make.

"I like bacon? Do you have bacon?" she asked smiling as she looked back at Nick happily and one of the butterflies landed on her head. When she felt the butterly on her head she looked around and started giggling happily when it flew around and landed on her nose for a long few moments. She sneazed and the butterfly flew away making her whine some.
(Yes she is very cute XD so I'm guessing if he ever gets the urge without thinking she'd be the one he'd try to take corect XD it's fine if that's a yes X3 it makes things interesting XD )

"Bacon sounds fine, come on, want to help?" he asked, standing up and holding his hand out to Mesy. "Do you want anything with it? We can have... pancakes, waffles... french toast... just about anything. Oh! and orange juice!" he suggested, a smile on his face.

Mesy smiled and took his hand with her small one happily letting him help her up. "I like waffles! And milk... I don't like orange juice that much." she smiled then stuck her tongue out indicating she did't much like orage juice.
(OW MY GOSH! Do you like waffles?! (yeah we like waffles!) do you like pancakes?! (yeah we like pancakes!) do you like french toast?! (yeah we like french toast!) do do do do do can't wait to get a mouth full!... sorry had to do that XD ow and that would sooo mess her up XD though she'll get over it X3 )

Nick chuckled and led her to the kitchen "milk and waffles it is then, and definitely no milk" he said with a smile. Once in the kitchen he got out the materials and started mixing the waffle mix. "Would you like eggs with the rest of your bacon?" he asked.
