(no it's only Mesy and Nick that feel it... the kids only notice when they're asleep because death often brings nightmares... that's why whenever Mesy was asleep an he came she either woke up in a cold sweat or had a nightmare that she couldn't wake up from till he was gone... that's why I sugested his brother... what's wrong with him coming in to say something? It makes it a bit interesting sense here's the girl that has his first kids and she is going to marry his brother and she is completely comfurtable with him... what do you think on that? Nick could wake up and say something to him... I could started that if you like... that is if you like that idea?)

Brad sighed some as he walked down the hall looking for Nick's room. He needed one of them to come get the twins who had fallen asleep watching a kids movie. He found the room rather quickly and peaked in some... only to be greated by both his brother and Mesy asleep together... for some reason that seemed to bother him a bit... Maybe it was just because he had had children with Mesy... and he had known her longer... though he pushed that down reminding himself that she didn't mush like him... even if she forgave him... he didn't desurve it.

Nick stirred and shot awake, awakened by a particularly horrifying nightmare. His eyes met the form of Brad and his face screwed into confusion "what do you need?" he asked. His voice was sluggish and quiet, both recovering from a nap and trying to stay quiet so as not to bother Mesy.

Mesy also stirred a bit... though did not wake like Nick did... she was a bit more tired. "Uh... ow I was just coming by to tell you or Mesy that the girls had fallen asleep... mom was afraid to move them in case she woke them up and thought maybe one or you to could..." Bard explained quietly also not wishing to wake Mesy... he now noticed the change fully... the top helf of her hair was red... almost crimson... he quietly wondered why though he didn't ask... he didn't want to seem rude.

Nick groaned slightly and maneuvered around until he could get out from under Mesy. He crawled out of the bed, grabbed Brad's arm, and pulled him out of the bedroom, shutting the door behind them. "I promised her I wouldn't leave her alone with you" Nick told him, silencing his "what the crap!?" look. He went downstairs, found the twins asleep, and he gently picked them up. "Well... it looks like these two are ready for bed. I enjoyed today, mom" Nick said. "Okay, sweetheart. Come by again soon, I'm here for you. Keep me updated on the wedding plans, alright?" his mother responded. Nick nodded "sure thing" he said and walked back upstairs to his old bedroom. He laid the girls on the bed and nudged Mesy awake.

Mesy groaned some though woke up sitting up and rubbing her eyes. "What time is it love?" she asked with a slight yawn though smiled at Nick then her kids liking to wake up to her family. She was still weary of Brad though as long as Nick stayed close she was fine and normally happy.

Nick smiled "time to get these kids to bed, they fell asleep watching a movie. We should probably head back to bed, for that matter" he pointed out and picked the girls up, how he did it without waking them up, he'll never know. "C'mon" he beckoned to Mesy.

"You're getting better at it aren't you?" Mesy smiled a bit as she got up... Almost unstedilly. " Are you going to be able to drive?" She asked softly and worriedly as looked at her love.

Nick nodded "yeah, I'll be fine. I'm not as tired as I look" he told Mesy as he led them down to the car. He carefully put the twins in, opened the door for Mesy, then headed over to his side to start the car up. "How're you doing? You looked a little unsteady earlier" he pointed out as he back out of the driveway and began to drive home.

"I'm... Okay... You know... Just jumpy is all... I... Never expected to see him again... I can't believe you two are really related..." Mesy said quietly with an off tone to her voice.

Nick reached over, grabbed Mesy's hand, and gave it a light squeeze. "It'll be alright. I won't let him, or anyone, hurt you. I promise" he told her softly as he pulled into the parking lot at the apartment building. He got out, opened the door for Mesy, and proceeded to get the girls out. Once he'd succeeded in that task, he followed Mesy up to their apartment. Once there, he spared no time in putting the twins in bed. it wasn't until he'd tucked the sleeping angels into bed that he joined Mesy in the front room, gathering her into his arms. "Don't worry. Maybe... maybe he's changed... truly. I know he hurt you terribly in the past... but you were able to put up with me... and love me... even after what I did... maybe in time... his presence won't scare so much. I have a feeling it'll be hard to keep away from his family, now that the girls have bonded with Aiden and Cameron" he said softly, placing a tender kiss on her forehead.

"It's okay... Hey... Can we stop talking about it? maybe we could move to a different topic?" Mesy murmured some as she moved to kiss Nick on the lips some.

Once Nick's lips were free he voiced his consent and claimed Mesy's sweet lips with his own. His arms wrapped around her waist tighter so he could pick her up and carry them to their bed. He gently laid her down and hovered over her somewhat, tenderly gazing into her eyes as his hand tenderly caressed her cheek and moved his fingers through her hair. Every now and then, he placed a gentle kiss on her lips.

"you know I love your touch right?" Mesy smiled some melting into Nick's touch a bit.

Nick smiled "good... because I love touching you" he muttered softly before settling into bed. "So... we've had a long and stressful day... why don't we go back to bed?" he suggested as he moved closer to Mesy so that his lips hovered above hers.

"Okay... So... Does that mean none off this?" Mesy asked lightly as she moved and kissed Nick deeply on the lips lovingly.

Nick moaned some and pushed Mesy into the bed "I suppose... that we could for a little while... we had that nap earlier..." he responded in between kisses before claiming Mesy's lips again, his hands roaming around the familiar territory.

Mesy moaned back in response as she Wrapped her legs around his waist some as though she were stradding him some.

((time skip, they don't look like they're gonna stop anytime soon. as to when, debateable. we could skip to the wedding and such, or we coooooooooould....... sometime before the wedding or something? do we want some more mesy/brad interactions? of some sort? Maybe mesy got pregnant with all the stuff they've been doing lately? there's my brainstorm))

yyyyeeeeaaaahhhhh... Nah lets them them have it this time XD hm... Yeah the pregnant thing is enteresting and like his mom could freak sense that would pretty much dissapointed in mostly Nick sense they didn't wait til they were married before they had sex... So I like this idea but what's the other?)

((well, we could just roll with the pregnant thing. like, Mesy tells him, party, celebration, woohoo. tells the family, party, celebration, woohoo except from his parents who are all "we taught you better than that" crap and such. now all of a sudden they're basically so dissappointed in him that they won't talk to him and he's going through a rough time because he's reminded of his past. I think now would be a good time for him to go through alcohol withdrawls. OH! maybe he could start becoming distant to everyone, even the twins. He starts going to the liqour cabinet only to find nothing there, he sleeps on the balcony even though it's getting colder. what do you think?))

Mesy woke the next morning and slowly eased herself out of the bed without waking her sleeping lover. She went to the bathroom as she often did after her and Nick would go at it. Just a few minutes passed before a large gasp could be heard. Mesy rushed out fully dressed and started to nudge Nick awake.
