"It's okay love... I'm just worried about you... I don't like you always being gone... working... locked in that room alone. The girls have been asking if you were okay and I don't even know what to tell them" Mesy murmured softly as she moved closer and hugged Nick hoping to make him feel better... hoping to make herself feel better. She had been trying to stay happy... not think of how her husband wasn't there that much... trying not to see him falling... Though none of that happened.... she still saw everything happening.

Nick enveloped his arms around Mesy. Sometime during their sweet moment, Brad left, noticing how Nick was going to be just fine now. "I... I really have no answer for why I've been working so hard... maybe I was trying to keep myself busy so I wouldn't think about the alcohol. I honestly don't know. I... never wanted to hurt you. Never" Nick muttered before he pulled away some and cradled her face in his hands. Why don't I take the next few days off? I certainly deserve a vacation and I can just tell them to call me if I'm needed for a case or something. I've done everything I need to do so I'm not needed unless there's a case. Currently I have none, so I can afford to take a few days off, weeks even. We'll spend the day together, all of us. I'll even lock my office and give you the key so I can't get in there without you" he suggested.

"Okay... though... do request that you have awhile off when I have the baby? I really want you to be here then... I thought you didn't have a case? Why do you need to work if you don't have a case? You've already finished the paper work on your last case..." Mesy murmured softly as she looked at Nick wanting nothing more then him to be home... she wasn't feeling well and was worried that there might be something wrong with the baby when she had him or her... what if the stress had messed with her pregnancy?

Nick led his pregnant wife to the couch and sat her down. "I will definitely be there when you have the baby. I promise. As for what I do at the office, I have lots to do, actually. My major work is being a lawyer, so when I'm representing a client, that's my primary focus, but other than that I do whatever I think of" he explained.

"Well... I didn't just mean when I have the baby... though I really want you to be there then... I mean for awhile after that... I... don't lnow how I'll be this time around... it was hard last time after having the twins... no one wanted to help me... Brad did a little though not very much... but I'll really need your help for awhile... I'm sure your dad will make a way for you to take the time off since he knows I'm your wife and I'm pregnant..." Mesy murmured softly as she sat next to her husband and smiled some at him hopefully.

"Of course, I was probably going to do that anyway" Nick answered as he wrapped his arms around Mesy and pulled her onto his lap. He placed a gentle kiss on her neck and then stood up, carrying her to their bed. "I say, that it's time for bed. We had a rough night tonight... and all those other nights before. We deserve to go to bed" he told her before he gently laid her down and crawled in next to her.

"Yeah... though you know we can't anymore right." Mesy told him knowing it might be harder for him in the next three months... she knew that alot of the time sex was how he releaved stress and calmed down... but she didn't want to take any chances on hurting the baby now that she was showing more... she didn't like showing but she knew that it was okay... she didn't think anyone was judjing her anyway...

Nick smiled, leaned down, and kissed Mesy's belly. "I know. Don't worry... I'll be fine" he promised before he kissed her lips gently, his hand caressing her stomach. "we should be finding the sex of the baby soon, right?" he asked, unsure of when they found that out.

"Yeah... next time I go to the doctor I believe." Mesy smiled some putting her hand on Nick's neck drawing small and light designs on it with a soft smile. "I'm so glad we made that deel... no matter how much Death is a pain to have looming over your shoulder every now and again." she smiled some to Nick lovingly... she was even happier that he married her, now she could truly say he was her love and her kids father... even though tectincally he was their uncle... she tried hard not to think about that.

Nick smiled and kissed her deeply. "So am I" he whispered against her lips before kissing her again. When he was done he kissed her forehead "sleep, love. You deserve it after what I did to you" he told her before he felt a small kick beneath his hand. He smiled and closed his eyes "how much has done that?" he asked softly, opening his eyes.

"Often... you just haven't been feeling my stomach enough... I slightly have been worrying that they might not recognize your voice... you haven't been around and talking to me as much as I'd like... I really hope that the baby will recognize you though." Mesy murmured quietly closing her eyes some as she felt the baby kick some and as she spoke softly to Nick.

Nick bent down and laid his head on Mesy's stomach, pressing his ear against it. "Well, I have three months to make up for it. I intend to, too. Our baby is going to know who their father is. What do you think it is? a boy or girl?" he asked.

"I don't know... I'm just the one carrying them for nine months." Mesy said shrugging a bit at Nick's question. "What do you want? A boy or a girl? I bet you want a boy don't ya." She smiled some truly not minding... like they really had a say in the matter.

Nick smiled "yeah... father-son bonds are awesome... especially for Elves. I remember reading into it when I was younger and I wanted to find my biological parents. The information I found said that father-son bonds, and mother-daughter bonds are exceptionally strong. This is so that no matter what happens, you'll always recognize your child or parent. It's true, though... I'd never met the man before, nor had I seen a picture of him. All I had was a vague description. But when I saw him... I knew who he was. It was an interesting meeting, to say the least. But yeah... I'd like to have a son" he answered softly.

"Yeah... rabbits are a bit different though we can tell if someone is related to us... even if we have never met them. Even if I hadn't see the girl for five or even ten years I would still know they were my doubters... I could even remember Brad over those three years even though he had changed some... sertain people you just know and for usagi's you don't forget easily." Mesy murmured softly and she moved to lay on her side... still thankful that she didn't show that much so she could lay with Nick like this still... really she was too skinny even before she had kids so she didn't hardly show thanks to how she kept a low weight.

"Good, then between the two of us, no matter what I do, he or she will always know who I am" Nick commented before he placed one last kiss on her belly. He straightened up and laid his head next to Mesy's. He eyed the clock on the other side of her head and placed a kiss on her lips. "Sleep, it's late" he commanded.

"No need to get demanding." Mesy huffed blowing a bit of air in Nick's face before grinning and leaning forward to give Nick a kiss on the lips before she started drifting off to sleep. "Night... love... I love you..." She murmured some before yawning one more time before falling asleep fully and peacefully.

(I kinda feel like death should show up one more time before Mesy has the baby XD idk for what though I just feel like doing that X3 cuz I'm evil like that XD )

Nick smiled and settled into sleep, snuggling closer to his wife. How could he even bring himself to distance himself from this amazing woman?

(hm... yeah and maybe warn him that if he doesn't straighten up there could be some major consiquences with Mesy being pregnant and her stress level?)

Mesy whimpered in her sleep clinging to her husband a bit more then she already was crying some as she felt the darkness drift over her. She knew what it was... and it scared her but she didn't wake up.... she was too tired to.

Nick grumbled in his sleep. He could feel Mesy's nervous and scared state, and he knew what caused it, but when he slept when he was drunk, the alcohol made it difficult for him to wake up.

(?... okay... um yeah Mesy ain't gonna wake up this time... she's just gonna start crying for Nick in her sleep XD )

"Nick... Nick... Nick..." Mesy started whimpering and crying some though not waking as she could feel the figure forming close to behind her and his icesy cold soul pearcing gaze on her back.
