"Don't be such a chicken shit Kai!" The jerk behind Kai said. There was a small group of three boys. All not yet adult, but still considered children in the eyes of many. They were all friends really. Playing jokes on the night of Halloween. While humans were out trick or treating, the demons would have their fun. Something to add, his two friends were completely human. Kai himself was not wearing a costume, and neither were his two friends for that matter. He looked up at the old house. It was said to be haunted. Not that it scared him. It was the many rumors that did that trick. "Oh come on, just go!" His friend, though at this time Kai was really regretting even speaking to the young man in the first place. Kai took a step towards the old gates of the house. Stopping again. The old plantation was extremely intimating after all. Suddenly he felt a small push from behind him. Creig uttered a small laugh. "He is scared Dalton!" The jerk said to the lesser quiet of the three. Hearing this Kai took a deep breath and opened the old gate. Creating the small metal grinding from the old cast iron bars. |
The house was silent... it always was... The floors shuttered, the windows were tented... the rooms, darkened. Nothing seed to be stirring in the quiet house. SOMEONES HERE?! WHO? This pressence doesn't feel the same as the others... has it already been a turn of the clock? How long will this have made it? 200... maybe... I think I might have lost count... Ow well I guess it's my job to either scare another off or let them find their way into no return... Something stirred in the house and the younge looking woman walked around to a door staring at it mornfully and visible for her guest... or guests... She was tired of the same old thing... she missed him... and she had never gotten to see him past that dredful day... If he was here then the years would only seem like heaven... though she didn't know where she was... Heaven... Hell... somewhere inbetween... maybe nowhere at all... She didn't know though what she did was that all she wanted was to leave... or to see him again... just one more time... then maybe the reaper of death would take pitty on her and take her home with him.

Kai squeezed himself past the gates. The dare was to simply walk up to the house and ask for some candy. Kai slowly headed up towards the house, climbing each step and listening to each and every creak. Kai paused. Taking a deep breath as he knocked on the door. Pausing for a good minute. There was nothing but silence around him. Forcing Kai to knock even louder.
"GO INSIDE!" The jerk behind him screamed at the top of his lungs. Kai simply shook his head. Reaching for the door knob. |
The house seemed to creak and cackle some before the door creaked open and a force seemed to pull at the boy standing there forcing him to come in and the door shut behind him automaticly... though the other boys just thought Kai had just walked in. Susumi sighed softly wishing the house wouldn't do that without her permission. Slowly she appeared on the balkony that looked over where the front door was glaring at the boy her eyes a chilling blue and she was visible. Her dress was decorated with blood and she had a rope hanging loosely from her neck... indicating how she was killed.

Just as Kai was about to open the door. He was harshly yanked inside. Almost like somebody had pulled his shirt. Kai turned to leave just as the door slammed and shut behind him. Kai chuckled a bit. Why? He was not sure. Being a demon, things rarely scared him. But this did, it was unexpected was all. Suddenly a glow came from the top balcony. Kai looked up to see the ghost. Yes, he did believe. If there were such things as demons and bloody angels. Then Ghosts could be real also.
She was beautiful besides the fact of being covered in blood. The rope around her neck was enough to freak any body out really. "I'm umm sorry for coming in like this. I should be going right now in fact..." |
Susumi stared at him for a bit longer then her eyes softened as she saw the rezemblence betwean this boy and her old lover... the lover she had been waiting so long to see again... was he the reincarnation of her lover? Slowly she let herself fade then came back up in frount of him and toutched his cheak lightly to see how he would react and to see if he was... if he was she would be able to see the old feelings and memories in his past that he would never understand not until they could talk for a bit anyway and she could pull a bit of the memories to his mind to show him who she was.

Kai took a long slow breath. as the ghost sudden;y disappeared. What was going to happen? Where had she gone? What in fact was going on? All these questions ran threw his mind as she appeared right in front of him. Kai stood frozen in front of the bloody girl. Where had she come from? Oh wait, she was a ghost. What a stupid question... As she reached up and touched his cheek, Kai jumped back a bit. What was she doing to him? Honestly Kai was scared. Completely out of his mind.
"W-What are you d-d-doing?" Kai studdered out. |
Sumi sighed softly and put her hand down. "Seeing if I knew you... and I don't think you're the one I've been waiting for..." she whispered her voice as soft as the wind on a calm day. She looked at Kai a bit longer then took a few steps back. Slowly she made herself fade out of his sight though stayed close as to watch him from afar.
