Not having a mirror, Elinora didn't know she had missed a strand of her unusual hair. She was still jumpy, and the least noise made her jump. She was hyper-aware. Suddenly she saw a figure coming towards her. A smiling man. She didn't give him the benefit of doubt. She ran. She dug in her pocket and threw down a seed that would grow into a particularly spikey bush. She just hoped it would have time to grow. Little did she know of the fire power her pursuer had.

Roy saw the woman in the distance, and threw up his arms as he was about to wave. She saw her take something out of what he assumed was some form of a holding pouch, or even a pocket. He saw her throw her hand down towards the ground. Squinting his eyes he saw a small looking black seed fall to the ground. "Oh," he thought. "So she's a plant user. This is going to be so easy." Placing his hand in his pocket he dug around for his lighter. Feeling the cool, small, metal piece in his hand he brought it out as he flicked it open. He flicked the thumbwheel a few times, and he made a spark. It was more difficult to get it lit since the wind kept blowing it out as he was running towards the girl. He managed to get it lit as he placed the lighter flame towards the palm of his hand. He closed his eyes as he concentrated and managed to create a ball of fire, which he threw towards the girl. If it continued on the right course it would hit near the girl, but it would not fatally wound her.

Elinora heard a sizzling sound behind herself and gasped in shock. Her plant! It had turned into a crispy mess. She didn't even notice the fireball was still coming for her until it hit her arm. She cried out from the pain. She stumbled forward, still trying to get away. Her arm hurt so badly, but she could use that aloe vera she had found on it. If only she could get away. She crashed through the trees. She thought desperately for what she could use next, but was unable to think of anything.

Roy cursed under his breath as he continued to run towards the girl. He wasn't expecting the fireball to hit the girl, nor did he assume that if he had hit her with said fireball that she would have the strength to keep running. He cursed again as he picked up his pace and ran into the forest. Glancing around he saw that the majority of the trees around him were beginning to lose their leaves. That meant that if he started a fire, he would probably end up taking out the entirty of the forest as well. "I have to be extra careful here," thought Roy. Bending down, he grabbed a fallen tree branch and brought it up to eye level. He held it in his hand where he lit it on fire. Throwing it like a javelin he threw it in front of the running girl. Luckily he would make it in time to trap the girl behind a wall of fire. He hoped that he had enough energy to control the fire as well.

Rue looked at Astrid. She had a point the girl Zoe had saved them from the guards. But that didn't change her feelings about Kris. She hated him with a passion. Anyone who had been held somewhere against their will for five years would have felt the same way.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said it like that, but you have to understand, I've been here for five years. I want out," she explained to the two of them. She would offer to help them with anything else they might need, but she had no intentions of going back.
She looked over at the boy. "Nice to meet you, Nathan. Are you a shapechanger, then if that's not your normal appearance?" she asked.
She looked around when another group of patients arrived to where they were. "You must be who set off the alarm, want to join us in our escape?" she asked them, giving them a slight smile.

"Ah!" A wall of flames sprung up in front of Eilinora. She turned back automatically, and realised that behind her was the man. She looked back and forth desperately. Whoever he was, he seemed desperate to catch her. She ran to the side, but she had already been slowed by the shock of the firewall and in that time he had gotten a lot closer. The pain in her arms was too great for her to think quickly. She just started forward as he came within reaching distance.

Kai looked at the group in front of him. They were dressed in similar garb as him. It was the mark of a prisoner, one with special powers. The alarms still blared behind them as Kai whipped around to make sure that they were not being followed. Kai looked at the one girl that was speaking with another person when she said," You must be who set off the alarm, want to join us in our escape?" Kai couldn't find the words to say that yes he was the one that had indeed turned the alarm on so he only nodded in response. The second part of what she said though sounded very nice so he nodded again. Safetly in numbers after all.
The firewall had really done the trick. Not only had it confused the girl in front of him, but it also killed any form of flora that the girl could use against him. He inched closer and closer to the panicking teen. He managed to grab her flailing arm. He yanked her forward as he turned her so her back collided with his stomach. Taking an inventory about what he had actually done to the girl he noticed that her arm was burned. Probably a second degree burn. "Stop struggling," Roy said calmly to the girl. "I am taking you to a safe place. A place where you don't have to run away or hide from people. A sanctuary for people that have powers like you. Now calm down please."

Tama smiled at the group infront of her and when she asked them to join she nodded. "The more of us there are the harder we will be to stop and capture." She said and looked to Tabitha, the ghost child was looking up at Kai with a smile. Kneeling dow the woman whispered in the ghosts ears and Tabitha nodded, running through the group of people and down the hall. Tama wanted to know what they were going to be up against, and having a scout that couldnt be seen was a good this to have. "Tabitha is going to scope out the halls that lead to the exit, so we know whats ahead." Tucking some hair behind her ear she let her eyes wander over the memebers of the group infront of her.

Zoe smiled slightly at Astrid as she took her hand again and agreed to help her. She had a momentary feeling of a soft fuzzy feeling due to the fact that someone actually wanted to help her for once. Usually it was the other way around where she was always having to help others or was always getting the short end of the stick so to say.
She nodded her head and looked to the others then, "Alright, we're getting all of you out of here first then I'll deal with Kris... If he's even still around that is."
Her attention then went back to the strange new little group that had emerged around the corner. The tall female with Asian features stepped forward and agreed to join them. Zoe was extremely grateful to have the extra help as she did speak the truth about strength in numbers. Her eyes went to the small ghost child named 'Tabitha' as the woman whispered something to her then announced that she would have her scout ahead.
"That's a nice little trick, or er- benefit in this case. We don't have to worry about a casualty while she's scouting then." Zoe studied the small phantom child curious about her and her connection the the woman she was connected with. It seemed that Kris had indeed managed to find an interesting group to fill his makeshift zoo.

She still struggled, but Eilinora wasn't strong enough to break free. A sanctuary? It sounded too good to be true. She'd rather be out here, surviving by her wits. She was dragged to the car and placed into the back seat forcibly. She crossed her arms as they tried to handcuff her, but it only took a threat of fire from Roy to cause her to cooperate. She tried to get free from the cuff, but it was on tightly, even on her thin wrist.

It seemed like a plan, and plans were things that Kai liked a lot. When they managed to escape Kai didn’t think that they would have gotten this far. Let alone almost to the outer gates, and to the green grass that was right outside. Kai couldn’t even remember the last time he had seen actual grass. He was used to seeing the walls of his four sided metal prison. He was happy; he had almost forgotten what happiness felt like.
Roy managed to drag her to the nearby car that was awaiting them. “She’s a fighter,” concluded Roy to himself. “She will fit in nicely with the rest of the crowd there. She won’t be easy to break though.” He managed to get her into the car; however, getting her hands in handcuffs was another thing entirely. Roy only had to snap his fingers though once letting a small flame dance on his finger tips. The girl then became immediately compliant with anything that he said or ordered. She was soon handcuffed in the back of the car, and then the trio was on their way towards the Sanctuary.
As the car sped off to its destination the walkie-talkie that Roy had began to buzz. It was broken, and whoever was talking sounded like they were in pain. “Agent Roy,” said the voice. “We are under attack. Bring the target to safe house B.” Turning to the driver he said,” Well you heard the man let’s be off.” The car sped off in the opposite direction towards safe house B.

Eilinora sat limply in the cuffs, wondering why they were taking her to a safe house. She felt incredibly sad that she'd lost her freedom. But she still had her seeds, which was all she needed to one day effect an escape. Also, she was comforted by the knowledge they were there, even if she couldn't escape.
