Year 3048, galactic date 11:38:10:15 PM

In a fairly quite corner of the universe, somewhere far away from any meddling lawman patrols, cruised a rather large space craft. The behemoth was more then big enough to comfortably hold a crew of 1000, but not nearly so many called this ship home. It was sleek and black, there were areas were it was obvious that major repairs and replacements had been made but the ship was still a beautiful mesh of older and newer technology. You could tell, even before you got within sort range transmission range that she was well maintained. As was custom, for many of the modern day civilizations and the civilizations of old, the ships name was painted across her hull, in shiny read letters.

The Sara James.

The Flag ship for the White Spider Pirates.

A pirate crew know for there mercilessness and there habit of leaving know living people on any ship they attacked. Not that they killed them, the White Spider's captain saw that as a waste of man power, and it took a lot of man power to run a ship as big as the Sara James, let alone the rest of the fleet.

"Captain, We've picked up a small vessel on the edges of our radar, Life signs our intact but the ship is practicably destroyed, would you like to pass it over and head to a fatter catch?" The man who spoke was the first mate of the White Spider Pirates, he was tall and had Strong shoulders that tapered down to a narrow waist. His long black hair was pulled out of his face exposing his strong nose and sharp chin, that had just a dusting of five'o'clock shadow. He dressed it what Might have once been a uniform from ether the Mill'iane Navy or the Terran Galactic Warriors, but the insignia has been removed and replaced with the Insignia of a long legged white spider with a black skull on its back, the symbol of the white spiders.

"No, after the battle with your former comrades we need ever able body we can find, and maybe this little ship is hiding a shinny or two for me Bonny dearest. go and inform the crew to take all beings that can still be of use, even the injured, Hell, maybe even some of the dead, you know how Mio'ki likes to play." the voice came from behind a flowing silk canopy just see through enough to make out the silhouette of a tall thin figure lounging against a heap of pillows.

"Yes Captain Jii'kan, I will personally make sure that any survivors will be brought back up to perfect health to join our family." The first mate replied with a slight chuckle and a bow. The brought forth a roar of laughter from behind the curtain. The laughter continued as the first mate turned and left the room.

Shortly after there conversation The Sara James adjusted her course to intercept the damaged vessel.

Akashi was lying in between some damaged supplies and exploded boxes. His ship, The Scarlet Star, or at least that's what Akashi had remembered, had gotten with a large battle against a Mio'ki ship. They seemed to be getting stronger by the day. The Scarlet Star was ranked upper-middle class in terms of strength and wealth. The enemy ship seemed to have found a way to get in and invade their ship. Where Akashi was working, an enemy had come in, guns and lasers and all, and forced him against the wall, letting them take their resources and nearly set off all the explosives in the room. Everything else, had now been a blur to Akashi. All he now remembered of what happened was explosions, screaming, crying, and his name being called.

How did he survive? Did anyone else survive? Akashi tried to stand, but his limbs were entangled in the debris and everything else that seemed to be thrown on it. He noticed something reflective a bit distant from him. He slowly moved the reflective material towards him, concentrating his last of his energy to find out what the material was. He had inherited some alien powers from his mother, who was, indeed, an alien. His father was human, and on his mission one day, he had to save a planet from destruction, which was where he had met Akashi's mother. They were soon married and had bourn Akashi, but he had never seen her in his life. Father had told him she had to go to a distant planet, but he had grown to realize that she had probably not gone to this so-called planet. As things start to mature in him, Akashi had grown to realize that she must of died due to some accident or something.

He didn't care though, he thought that she had looked just like him, since he looked half-human and half-alien. His eyes were larger and slightly greener than an average human being. He had white-blue hair that was almost pin-straight and ended at the top of his narrow shoulders. He was average height, not too small and not too tall, and was slightly thinner than normal. He had abnormally pale skin, paler than normal humans would have. He had sometimes dreamed of what his mother had looked like, even if that will never become a reality.

The reflective object had finally come to arm's reach from Akashi and he had noticed it was some sort of gun. He tried to reach for it, but his arms felt like they've been hammered down and all he could do was cry for help. Once he tried to test that theory, he found out half his voice was gone and the depleting strength only allowed him to let out a soft but desperate "H-Help..."

[here's my character Nero Bonny

The Sara James, despite being a huge mesh of battle ship parts could move at quite high speeds when the captain demanded it.

It took only 5 minutes for the ship to be within range of The Sara James's tractor beam. As the man that was manning the beam was carefully docking her in one of the hanger bays, more to avoid breaking anything of worth then for any thought of the crew, the first mate was giving a quick brief to the men, woman, and others that would be under his command while they scavenged the ship.

"Now men..." The first mate waited for the murmurer of 'I'm not a man I'm a woman' and 'I'm genderless you stupid human' before continuing with a slight smile on his face. "this ship was attacked by the Mio'ki, from what we can tell it was just a raid, but there might yet be some things of use aboard this junker." there were a few groans and sighs, the Mio'ki were known for leaving surprises aboard ships they'ed come in contact with. "The life signs were very low but there appears to be at least one crew member still alive. Now I shouldn't need to remind you but scan every room before you enter and were your masks at all tim-"

The bang and his for the hanger bay being re-pressurized interrupted the speech. "Mika, you and your girls take the hydroponics bay. Cliff your team is after the armory and med bay. "Yonden and Kivix, you know were I want your teams. And last but not least oh Kellenda Lady of hanger bay three," with this he gave a short bow to a short humanoid woman who grinned at him. "when we are finished I would like you to throw the remaining organics into the incinerators before scrapping the ship if you please." once he finished everyone gave his a short bow or salute and replying yes First mate Nero before going about there missions. The majority passed through the doors towards the now safely docked ship leaving six men left looking to the captain.

"Doc you know I want you here, we can't afford to loss you, if we call in an injury send one of your students or one of Kellenda's men." with that he made a gesture to the remaining two men and walked towards the ship. ignoring the doctors comment of "we can't afford to lose you ether Bonny..."

"What we Up to sssssssirr." one of the men asked as they neared the ship.

"Like I said, there is at least one survivor, we're going to find him first and get him to the doctor.

"A survivor? ats rare wiff de Mio'ki... Mus be haff dead." replied the other man, nearly eight feet tall. Reaching up he easily pulled himself aboard the ship before turning and offering two of his many arms to the crew members still below.

"exactly why we must find him quickly Java'kal." Replied the first mate before griping the offered hand and pulling himself aboard.

((Nice pic. You're an awesome artist. I'm still trying to perfect my anime skills, but yeah, nice pic ^0^))

Akashi felt the abandoned ship move. He had gotten startled by the sudden movement, that he jumped from it. This made his nerves go on edge, sending pain messages of some sort through his body and making it ache more. He wanted to get out of here. He wanted to be free or die peacefully, not under rubble and the horrible smell of gunpowder.
"Kill me." He whispered to himself, "Just kill me now! What are you waiting for?" There was no point in struggle, his life would soon be ending, and just like his father told him, he would be cremmated. Yes, not a pleasant way to tell your son what would happen if your life had ended, but it had to be done. "Please, let me die..." He winced. He suddenly heard footsteps and pading above him. Survivors? There were more than just him? Or were there more invaders aboarding the ship, which was why the ship had moved? Space pirates. That could be the only explanation. They always came to abandoned ships and greedily took what was theirs, even if it meant enslaving whoever was left. Which meant, he would be enslaved if they found him.

He then heard footsteps coming down to his location. Akashi quickly concentrated to make himself transparent, another power he inherited from his mother's side. This didn't make him invisible, just transparent from the naked eye. If he kept still, didn't move a muscle, breathed slowly, then he wouldn't be detected. Some life-forms acted on their sense of smelling heat levels. If Akashi mantained a lower heat level, his body should be able to blend in from the different rubble and debris.

[haha thanks ^-^,well any type of drawing takes a lot of practice so keep at it.]

Nero and his team worked there way into the ship, following a reader that indicated the general locations of living creatures. Nero had it tuned to the weakest signal, that was also staying fairly stationarity. he knew it would not be one of his crew because they knew to remain in a group, and they knew what Nero would do to them if he caught them slouching on the job.

On the way to the farther end of the ship Nero paced two of the other teams, one was looting a Mio'ki carcass. That impressed Nero and his two team members, it took a hell of a lot to kill a Mio'ki. The other team that was passed were rushing out, it appeared that one of Mika's girls had set off an acid trap and it looked like she was going to be in the regeneration chamber for a long time. Nero stopped long enough to tell them to be more careful before continuing on.

Finally the reader started to beep indicating that the life form was within fifty feet of there location. "Well start opening doors and looking, and be careful, unless you want to spend the night with Sana in the regeneration chamber."

This earned laughter from both men and a comment from Java'kal that he would very much like to spend a night with Sana, but only after her face grew back, which brought on more laughter. But despite there jokes they got to work quickly, able bodys were expensive and they couldn't afford to put this one to waste.

"Sssssssir the reader indicatesssss that the life form is near." commented Serkessan one of the men with first mate Nero. Serkessan short and broad and he was from a race that had a somewhat lizard like appearance called the Rassakan he had a long pointed face and his skin was made up of jewel toned pebbly scales. Opening a door he stuck his head in and tasted the air by extending his long slender tongue multiple times.

"In here! I tasssstessss him. There is alot of blood, he issss closssse to death." Serkessan commented down the hall they were searching towards his other companions.

"Good job Kess, stay here, god knows how they would react to you after the Mio'ki" Nero said with a grin nearly jogging out of the empty room he had been searching.

Stepping slowly into the room that Kess had Indicated Nero waited for the reader to give the beep telling him that there were no Mio'ki surprises waiting for him. Once the machine beeped Java'kal and Nero stepped farther into the room and looked around it for the life form. Not seeing anyone Nero cleared his through.
"Look we don't have all day, we are here to help you, we can give you a better future then rotting on this junker so make a noise if you can." As he said this Nero and Java'kal went in opposite directions and started turning over broken crates and looking over some of the broken junk. He didn't expect a reply, normally their ether to terrified its some kind of a trick, witch it was, sort of, or they were no longer able to speak. "Hello?" Nero called again, half hopeful, he didn't want to be dicking around in this room all day looking for god knows what.

Akashi heard the steps nearer and nearer him. He would be caught soon, even if the pirate's words enticed him to make a noise of some sort. He stood even stiller and stayed transparent. He'd rather die here than be taken in by the space pirates. He kept his breathing slow and quiet, so he wouldn't be deteced. He glanced down at his arm, half-burried in the debris. It was bleeding now, but Akashi didn't feel anything cut him. It was bleeding quickly, meaning that his body heat would go up, and he would surely be spotted now.

He had quietly shifted to a different, comfortable position, but something sharp scraped his abdomen. He couldn't hold it in, he let out a shor, shrill cry, guaranteed to pierce any human ear. His type always had some sort of loud scream to ward off enemies. This didn't help him in his disguise at all.

"Sir air is much blood..." Java'kal commented just as Nero caught a wiff of it. before he could reply the piercing screech almost made Nero start firing in that directions, it was only years of mental training that stayed his hand. returning the gun to his belt Nero took a few steps closer to the sound, relying on the readers heat locating to pinpoint the life form. "smart of you to hide yourself and lower your temperature, but not from the people who are trying to save you, hope you turn out a little smarter once you get out of the regenerators."

"Sir, Don be stupid..." Java'kal commented as Nero took a few steps closer to the hidden body. careful to make sure he wouldn't step on it.

"For the love of the Terrren and Milane' gods Java'kal, who trained you? its not like I'm going to stick my hand in its mouth, besides from these readings it can barely move. Have kess call in two of the doc's grunts with a stretcher." ignoring the growl that was Java'kal reply Nero took another step before squatting down near were he thought the body's head might be. "are you alright? can you remove whatever it is your using so that we can see you better? I'm going to touch you, don't jump because that will just make your body hurt worse."

with that Nero slowly reached out to lay a gloved hand on the body.

Akashi heard two voices coming nearer and nearer him. He was caught for sure now. He mentally hit himself for yelling at a high amplitude. One of the two voices had crouched down, but he knew the figure couldn't see him. He wafted his smell, human, Akashi guessed. He burried his face slightly deep into the rubble and made himself translucent, since his energy had started to fade.
"I...want..to die...here..." He said, blood pouring out of him like water through a sieve. Pretty soon he'd loose all of it, and he'd die in his ship. He was breathing heavily now. His uniform was stained dark red, and was wet andsticky from his blood. He couldn't survive any longer than a couple of hours, unless something stopped the bleeding. He had become fully visible now; anymore of his energy used to make himself transparent would knock him out again. He felt a hand touch his torso, but the glove touching him had become dark red in seconds.
"There's...no way...I could make it..." He managed to cough out. Even with the constant bleeding, the hand seemed to stop some blood gushing out. It had made a clog in part of his cut.

[bwee I was slow today sorry : P]

Fuck.

Fuck.

Fuck.

"Java the way the medics dick around he'll be dead bring that crate lid over here and help me carry him." Nero pressed his hand harder against the bleeding. "Kid only the weak give up with a little flesh wound like this." he was stretching the truth a little bit, the kids chances were pretty slim but Nero had seen the doc fix up worse looking wounds. "Kess you go ahead and make sure everybody gets the hell out of our way!" Nero shouted towards the door just as Java'kal kicked away some rubble to lay the crate lid flat.

"ya bug, you must be strong to make it on es ship, else you be canon fodder, just like de udder weaklings. Is a hard world must make de most of it." Java'kal was speaking calmly and quitly mostly to distract the injured male from the fact that he was moving a lot of the debris near him, so that he could help nero move him.

With his free hand Nero started digging in his pocket and pulled out two vials of auto congeal, an organic medicine that helped to stop blood flow on contact. It should buy the kid enough time to get into the doc's hands and into a regenerators. "well kid you look at least part human so this should just sting..." with that he pulled his hand away from the kids torso and sprayed as much up him as he could concentrating on the bigger wounds.

Looking up at Java'kal as he started to remove his jacket Nero said. "I'll need your help to turn him and get him onto the lid, I'm guessing that his front is at least as bad." his jaket off he spread it out on the board before turning back to get a good hold on the kid without causing two much damage, Java'kal had already done the same. "Ok lift on 3, 1...2...3.."

Akashi heard two men speak, but couldn't make out what they were saying, regardless how close they were. He was slowly slipping, fading away. Usually alien-like forms like him would last longer, but he was still pretty young. He didn't have the longer-lasting blood like his moher did. He felt things bein moved around him and something sprayed on him. It stung, but not enough for Akashi to utter his high-pitched cry again. He felt like his blood stopping slightly at whatever was sprayed on him, then moving out from his body quickly again. He closed his eyes at all the pain. He didn't care whether he died or passed out anymore, but he'd rather just die in the other male's arms. He felt himself turning, and then lifted. His head was pounding, on top of the pain from his wounds and the shouts coming from the two males infront of him. He would pass out soon, and maye, if thepirates were lucky, they would save him. But there was a slight chance in that.

[sorry it took me so long.]

Once Nero and Java'kal had the boy on the board they quickly positioned themselves on apposing sides and lifted. “I Te-ink he passed out…” Java’kal muttered as they started to maneuver themselves out of the room and down the hall.

“Yeah think Java? Were leaving a blood trail so big a blind kess’sen snail could find us!” Nero growled back, navigating quickly out of the ship. Despite there speed it still took them a few minutes to reach the hatch.

They weren’t expecting a cowed looking Serkessan to be waiting there, with the crotchety old man that was the doctor.

“Kess…” Nero growled but he was happy that the doctor met them half way, he didn’t know if the kid had any blood left in him.

“Sssssir he MADE me I issss very sssscare for Huma-“ Serkessan was cut off by a gesture from the doctor who approached the boy.

“My lord bonny, the captain expects me to bring THIS back to life? Its half dead, even if it was alive its so puny, it can’t be good for much…” even as he spoke the doctor got to work. Attaching a life reader to the boys arm and coating him in a stronger version of the spray that Nero had used, instead of causing the cells to head on there own this version forms a temporary shell around the veins and wounds. That should hold him closed until the life reader is up. I had that lovely Kellenda bring over a lift, these old bones can’t jump out of ships like they used to…”

Once everyone was positioned on the lift it gently lowered them to the ground level.

Serkessan took Java’kal’s side of the boys makeshift gurney, as he was closer to Nero’s height and they quickly followed the doctor out of the hanger bay.

“If we get him the regeneration chamber it will hold him in status until we figure out what sort of mix he is, then it can start to reconstruct the damage.” The doctor muttered, wavering for his students to stay here in case there was any other injuries.

Akashi heard more than two people talking, and he was rushed here and there. He had been sprayed by something stronger than what had been previously sprayed on him, which meant more pain inflicted on him. His eyelids were welded shut together, his body was hammered to the solid below him, he felt he couldn't move anything. Pretty soon, the spray would wear off, and if he wasn't saved soon, all the blood would leave him and he'd die. He wasn't sure why he was suddenly so important to these strangers? Then again, he was told space pirates would take any prisoners, so it was no surprise that a useless thing like him would be abducted. He was good at telepathy and other alien-like traits he had. He was good with a gun, but that was it. He had worked at his ship as a scribe and sometimes was put into battle with other ships.

((It's okay. I'm pretty busy myself so it's fine [x))
