Raphael sighed, seeing shady look within the human girl's eyes. He could tell that there was a relatively good chance that she wouldn't be able to fully receive the slight vampiric spell that he was now casting through his own dark colored eyes, one that would will her body to relax fully and for the pain to fade away, but regardless he still attempted as he tried to lock gazes with the human girl. If she were to receive the effects of the spell then it would only take one simple direct though clear glance in his own eyes and would last for quite some time. "Alright I'm going to pick you up and try to move you now..." he continued to whisper as he reached out. A sound suddenly came to his ears and he knew that there wasn't much time before they were discovered by another. 'I was hoping not to have to be rushed like this...' he thought to himself with a grimace.

Carefully though quickly he picked up the weakened human girl. "I know you may not have the strength to either hold on or struggle, but try not to move too much regardless. And do not be alarmed if you see another following, I shall take care of that..." he continued to whisper as he began to move, carrying the girl almost bridal style though supporting her body and head a bit more. At first the pace seemed like a normal humans, but soon picked up in speed. It wasn't before long before he, and the girl he was carrying, had almost reached the end of the alley. As he had suspected though they were being followed. He had cast only a quick glace over his shoulder at their pursuer, and knowing immediately that it was indeed one of his own kind. 'Probably lured by the scent of blood...and from the smell of it one who frequently indulges in human blood whether they need it or not...' he thought to himself with a slight frown. "This may get a bit bumpy but try to bare with it" he whispered quietly as he suddenly seemed to run up one of the walls slightly, then jumped from it to the adjacent wall and back to the original, going back and forth until he reached the roof of one of the buildings that the walls belonged to. From there he ran, using his full vampiric speed as he went from rooftop to roof top. Images and lights of things he passed whirled by in a blur, and despite his warning of it being bumpy there was little to no bump within it as his speed and grace of his movements made the 'ride' rather smooth.

It wasn't long before his destination was within sight, and for that he was thankful. With another glance back he could see that the other vampire chose to continue to follow, however with so many humans around his final destination that they would give up the chase the moment he got there. Of course however he couldn't simply jump from the roof and 'appear' himself for the same reason, and so was forced to jump down into a close alleyway. He then only used his speed to get to the end of it quickly and then slowed his pace to that of a normal human running. The following vampire, as predicted continued the chase until Raphael was at and within the hospital itself.

'Just barely made it' the silver-blond haired vampire thought with a sigh of relief, however his worries weren't quite over yet. He was lucky that human hospitals were always open and staffed, but he still needed to get the girl some treatment. "I need some help over here!" he shouted as he ran in, grabbing the immediate attention of the receptionist and a few passing nurses.

"What happened?" one of the nurses asked as they quickly rushed to the vampire to check on the girl he was carrying. In response the vampire shook his head, after all he couldn't reveal what had happened as he would then have to reveal that he was not human, but a vampire. He knew full well that, that little conversation would not go over well and so chose to play the 'ignorant' passerby.

It wasn't long before the girl was soon taken from him and wheeled away to be looked over. Raphael again let out another mental sigh of relief. He knew the girl would be alright now that he had brought her here. After all a simple blood transfusion would clear things up. A pale hand passed through his hair as he watched until the girl was out of sight. 'Well one problem down...just one more to go...' he thought with a frown as his gaze slid to a nearby window. He wasn't surprised to not see his reflection staring back at him, but if one of the passing human's noticed...well that would just be trouble and that was something he wanted to avoid.

Sumi's body calmed some and her pain faded as she gazed into his eyes then hers slowly closed as she was able to fall asleep. She didn't truly feel him pick her up or carry her off as he moved quickly to the hospital. When they had gotten there she had been taken from Raphael and was soon being tended to. After about a half an hour one of the nurses came out and came over to Raphael. "Would you like to go to her room? She should be waking up soon and she may not recall anything more or less how she got here. Do you know her family? Maybe someone we could contact?" the nurse asked not seeming to notice that this man had no reflection in the glass.

(Lol woot, I can still dish out long ones every so often still. :D :XD I think you're charrie's name has changed from the original too. XD)

Guilt was what truly kept Raphael waiting and staying put, after all he was the one that put her in the condition that she was in. After all he couldn't just assume she'd be fine and on his merry little way now could he? No the guilt would eat away at him in an unbearable fashion if he did that, and so he remained. The vampire was still weary of any whom passed by him or came up to him, as he still feared his lack of reflection would eventually be noticed. 'Perhaps I can blame it on the lighting in here somehow...The glare at your angle is blocking out my reflection perhaps? No...well...maybe that'll be believable...for about a few seconds...' the vampire thought with a sigh.

His mind continued to maul over excuses when a nurse suddenly approached him and began to speak. He stiffened a bit as he was asked if he wanted to go see her, yet somewhat relieved that there may be a chance she wouldn't be able to recall what had occurred. Then again if she were to see the vampire, he knew that there was a good chance that she would indeed recall what had happened. Then again if she were to do something such as shout he probably could disappear out the window. Of course there was the flaw that he would have already been seen entering and not exiting the room.

With that he gently shook his head negatively. "No I was merely a passerby at the time when I found her. It would probably be a bit strange and probably terrifying if she were to awake and find a stranger in her room. I think she might have mumbled something about a brother when I found her though, but I can't be positive what she may have meant by it. I'm relieved to hear that she'll be waking up soon though, so she would probably be able to answer your questions better then I could. If anything I should probably be on my way, my wife's probably worried sick I haven't returned home yet, and might think I'm up to no good" he said rubbing the back of his head and giving a slight chuckle. His answer too provided an answer to the other two questions that were asked of him, since after all a stranger wouldn't know anything. He also figured the little picture painted of a 'wife awaiting her late working husband' would still any further questions for the time being. "Thank you for your help, I leave her in you and your coworkers capable care" he said with a polite bow and smile before turning and leaving the nurse.

The silver-blond vampire had discovered the information he wanted and so he figured that there was no longer a reason to remain. 'She's fine now...' he thought to himself with a nod. Of course that wasn't what the nurse had actually said and thus guilt once more gripped him with an icy grip. 'Alright, alright I'll personally go make sure she's alright, however I think I'll do it my own way just to be sure...' he thought to himself as he exited the hospital and glanced up at the rather impressive amount of windows of the facility. He stopped a bit once he had a clear view of them and calmly closed his gray-blue eyes, using his hearing and sense of smell to pinpoint just which one belonged to the young human. After all he was well aware that the human girl looked still a child and that human doctors had a tendency of placing them in a room with a window for some reason that they claimed linked to keeping the young patient's happy. It was perhaps one of the many things that Raphael didn't understand about humans in their reasonings, but at the moment that was not of importance.

Pushing aside his contemplating thoughts about the human race aside he focused on his task at hand. It wasn't too incredibly long, nor hard for him to figure out which window would take him to the young girl's room. 'It just had to be close to the top...' he thought to himself with a sigh. He knew if he jumped or climbed the wall he would be attracting attention, but then either one of those was at the moment his only choice of action, seeing as the window also just had to be at the front of the building. With a sigh he took a quick glance around. There were a few humans on surrounding street, mainly bums and homeless. Doctors and nurses were inside the building, but from what he could gather none were heading towards the entrance doors, or at least not too quickly. 'Oh well I suppose who would believe the momentary ramblings of a homeless human anyways?' he thought as he used his speed once more to jump and begin his wall ascent.

It wasn't too incredibly long, although it seemed to take eternity for the wall climbing vampire, for him to reach his designated window. The only problem now was if it weren't unlocked. Perhaps it was luck or some higher power that chose to smile on him that led the vampire to find that it was actually unlocked. 'Perhaps due to the fact it's so high up...' he thought as he quietly opened the window. He was both pleased and a bit surprised to find that the window didn't have an internal screen layer, after all what if a patient wished to commit suicide? Or what if someone looking out fell out? Well it wasn't really his concern about the questionable safety hazards of the hospital's window set ups, instead he was more concerned about the girl within the room. Carefully and still as quietly as he could the vampire hoisted himself up onto the window seal, and decided to make that his 'perch' for the time being, just in case he had to make a hasty get away...

(hah... yeah just saw that XD shall fix it thx X3 )

Heina was thankfully in a single room and laying almost motionless on the bed. She had a breathing mask over her mouth and nose and an iv in two differant places on the same arm. There was clearly still marks on her neck though no one had seemed to notice them more or less wonder where they came from. Her breaths were steady now... A bit too slow but steady. Her heart beat was lower then it should have been though at least it was still beating okay. She just laid there seeming so calm and peaceful as she slept... For now at least. She did remember what happened... Though she couldn't remember that he had said he would bring her here... That may pose as a problem if she started talking to the nurse and was asked what happened. Even if she told them though they might put her in as mentally unstable and force her to stay.

(Lol no problem. I just don't want to get confused on what to call her when they're officially introduced to each other. XD)

Raphael calmly and quietly awaited for the human girl to awaken, which he figured would take some time since she had lost a fair amount of blood to him. He had made himself rather comfortable, or at least as comfortable as one could, on the window seal. His gray-blue eyes were closed at the moment, as he concentrated instead on listening rather than simply watching. Occasionally they would open however to check on the girl, or if he heard someone approach.

There had been a few instances when the vampire had to push himself from the sill and plaster himself to the wall outside. He was thankful the first time that he had to do this that the doctors, and or nurses, merely thought that one of the other faculty members opened the window. It was a relatively nice night after all and the fresh air they would perhaps find good for the sleeping girl. Taking their time they would check on the girl, scribbling a few things on their clipboard, and leave the room, closing and locking the door behind them. The vampire figured the lock was there mainly to prevent a patient from trying to leave too soon and injuring themselves, but it was merely a guess.

Heina took quite a while to finally wake up and just moments later a nurse came in to check on her. The visit didn't take long since Heina just wanted to rest... And she couldn't talk that well anyway. Out of the corner of her eye she caught a glimps of Raphael on the window ciel and immedeatly looked at him. Was this real? Slowly and hesitently she reached up and felt the two little spots on her neck and shivered reallizing it must have been real. She stared at the vampire no real fear in her eyes now... Just worry... Lots and lots of worry.

As the nurse came in to check on the waking girl, Raphael once more went out the window and plastered himself to the wall. He quietly waited until the nurse finished whatever she was doing and left. He once more placed himself on the windowsill only when he heard the audible click of the door. He glanced over at the human girl once more and suddenly noticed her eyes staring back at him and filled with worry, a sign that she was indeed awake. "Do not worry. I've no intentions of coming here to finish nor to harm nor kill you. In fact if you'd prefer I can simply stay on the windowsill here and not move from it. My reasoning for being here though is to ensure you're alright and will be alright nothing more, nothing less" he replied calmly in an attempt to still the human girl's worry.

Heina relaxed some as Raphael spoke and said he wouldn't hurt her. If she could have she would have responded right away... Though she couldn't move nor find her voice right away. She finally found her voice and she sighed just once "Why?" was all she said in an almost inaudoble sigh. She knew even though she had the breathing mask on and that may have muffled the sound that the vimpire could and would hear her. That one simple word may not mean much to anyone else but she had to know... Why did he almost kill her? Why her? Why did he not kill her?

Raphael let out a mental sigh of relief as the human girl seemed to relax. His gaze remained calmly on the human girl, as despite the muffled sound, he clearly heard her ask the question why. To the vampire, and he figured to the human girl as well, that the question could refer to many different aspects. Why did he harm her? Why didn't he kill her? Why was she chosen? Why didn't he just leave her for another to finish her off? The vampire knew this and possibly many other questions could be easily linked with the simple word.

"If it were not for the fact you should save your strength I would ask you which why's you wished for me to answers and the ones you didn't. However because of the your current condition I'll answer the basics. I'll tell you now the only reason that I attacked you was because my body was in need of the nourishment that human blood contains. Why it was you and not some other human just happened to be simply because you were the first one I encountered. I had not specifically targeted you like some stalker, but rather it was by mere coincidence nothing more. And finally the reason I did not kill you is because unlike the majority of my kind I do not wish to feed upon humans nor kill them. It was of that fact and my own stubbornness to refuse to drink human blood that led to my attack on you. Although I will admit it was also your plea that prevented me from ending your life" the vampire calmly explained, watching the human girl carefully for her reactions to the information given.

As Raphael spoke Heina whached him some then just started staring at the cielling. Her body ached and hurt badly making it hard for her to breathe even with the mask on... though the mask was helping some. Slowly she closed her eyes though at first it was only to cringe "When... will... it... stop?... the... pain?... When?..." she asked in another almost unheard vioce... unheard to humans anyway. Her breathing was off slightly... a little too heavy... a little too slow, like how her heart was still beating a bit too slow. Her face was pail as she laid there her body still aching... pain... pain... pain... that's all her heart seemed to say in it's rythmic pulses... well... they should have been rythmic but they weren't.

Raphael frowned a bit at her words. Pain? As far as he knew there shouldn't have been any form of pain left, perhaps a bit of dizziness and feeling of weakness, but nothing more. The only way there would be pain is if...'No...it's not possible...' he thought, his eyes widening a bit though would be a bit hard to notice to human eyes. Quickly he closed the gray-blue orbs and listened. Her heart rate was way too slow, even with the amount of blood he had taken. His eyes opened a moment later as he tried to think of how it was even possible.

'For a human to change they would need vampiric blood in their system...I know I did not exchange my own blood with her...but if another had then...' he thought mentally to himself. "Tell me...was there ever a time that you...erm...ingested any strange tasting red liquid from someone?" he asked quietly instead of answering her question.

Heina reopened her soft aqua eyes to look back at Raphael and opened her mouth to speak once more... though no words came out, just a small cough as though she had been trying to speak though that was the only thing she could think... though it wasn't. She knew that at some point last week she had drank something red... not really drank as much accidently getting in her mouth. The week before she had gotten in a fight at school and the girl punched her... though Heina's mouth had been open slightly at the point of inpact and the girls fist had already been bleading... though she hadn't really thought much of it... she didn't even know now where he was getting at. "Fight?..." she finally whispered after a long few moments of fighting to get the word out... and that was all she could say she couldn't even explain it really.
(Well not where I was getting at but it's all good XD this makes it just a bit more interesting I suppose X3 )

(Lol I'll be honest I had/have no idea where you were/are trying to get at other than turning her into a vampire. XD After all, and I may be wrong, I don't think your trying to kill her off?)

The single word wasn't exactly too useful to Raphael, since she could have just as easily fought another human as one of his own kind. To him though fighting another human seemed a bit more likely then a vampire, after all he figured if it had been a vampire she would have probably already been dead. "Any other time?" he asked calmly from the windowsill. If she hadn't had the taste of vampiric blood then the silver blond vampire was completely stumped. As far as he had known there weren't really any diseases that a human could get from his fangs, not that he had any diseases as aside from the weakness and malnutrition he was actually a rather healthy vampire. 'Maybe she has some sort of human disease?...That's the only other logical thing I can think of I suppose...' he thought to himself.

(He he he ow well I don't like humans anyways XD Plus at some point I wanted her to become a vampire and we had no set plot for this so X3 )

Hena slowly shook her head and thought for a long moment. "The... girl... wasn't... normal..." she breathed slowly though still didn't quite understand where he was going with this. She just laid there staring at him for a while then looked up at the bland white\tan looking ceiling and wondered quietly why all of the hospitals had to have that awful coloring... to make it even worse she had one of the rooms that had that tenting over the light about the bed to make it look like you were looking at the sky on a clear day... bland... bland... and yet more bland...

(Where exactly were you trying to head anyways? XD)

Raphael again frowned at the information he was given. There just couldn't be any way that the girl she fought against was really a vampire...right? 'Then again I suppose stranger things have happened...' he thought with a sigh. In any case if this girl had indeed been a vampire and the human girl had, had a taste of her blood, then the piercing of her neck and drawing of her blood by his fangs had triggered 'the change' to take place. "If that is the case then I suppose technically that would make me the one that sired you...It appears things have just gotten a bit more...complicated" he said with a sigh, rising from the windowsill and fulling into the room for the first time.

Hena blinked as she heard him and looked at him confusedly. "What... Do... You... Mean?" she asked her voice seeming very weak... It seemed to go down with each time she spoke... Though that was mostly because she had already had a bit of a sore throat before this. She was compleatly and utterly confused right now and just didn't know what he meant... She had never heard the turm 'sired' before and that just seemed to confuse her more.

Raphael calmly let out a sigh. 'How to go about explaining this so as not to send her into a panic...' he thought as a hand went up to rub the back of his head. "To put it this way your about to go through...a change here very soon, one that cannot be undone" the vampire calmly explained. The vampire hoped she would understand what he meant without him having to come right out and say it bluntly. He could clearly see that the girl was weakening rather quickly and that it wouldn't be too much longer and once more let out a sigh. He knew very well what she would require once the change had taken place.

When a vampire was first created the first thing they would need is blood, however the blood needed was a bit different then what would be needed for the first two weeks or so of their new 'life'. What they would require would be the blood of their creator, or Sire as they called them. This was mainly because their body needed to create and develop their new vampiric cells that would enable them to absorb and store the nutrients they would later need from human blood, and what best way then to introduce fully developed vampiric blood cells into their system? Of course that would mean that the Sire would need to monitor their body's need for blood more closely since they would essentially have to feed themselves plus another vampire. A new vampire's appetite happened to be rather large, making them hungry rather frequently and thus making them need to feed more often, due to their cells still being in the stages of development of being able to store nutrients. This of course would also mean that the Sire vampire's own feedings would have to happen more frequently as well.

Slowly Hena's aqua eyes widened at his words. She understood right away. She would 'change'... In other words... Die. She wouldn't exactly be dead though... She would still kinda be here... Though what was to become of her? Would she be able to see her family? What about her friends? Maybe see them just one last time... Before leaving them forever. She wished she could voice these questions but right now she just couldn't speak... She knew how she'd ask them too... But she just couldn't find a way to speak.

Raphael could clearly see that the human girl wished to speak, but could not find her words. Unfortunately he was not a mind reader nor did he have access to her thoughts as he was not a vampire with that kind of abilities. Each vampire 'born' acquired not only enhancements to their senses, speed, strength and healing speed, but also a rather specialized ability based on the type of vampire they were. The silver blond vampire was not a more psychicly keen type of vampire but rather one that was more in tune with the shadows and darkness of the world itself, and it was because of this he lacked those specific specialized abilities.

"If you desire to speak it is best to relax your body to its fullest capacity. A human's throat closes more tightly when their body is tense and usually leads them to the inability to speak. If you relax and calm that tenseness you should be able to voice what is on your mind, for I am not a mind reader" he said calmly, moving so his back was against a wall and leaning back on it. In truth he didn't really like the fact he had left the sill, after all it made a quick escape much easier then having his back pressed against a solid object, however he knew that when 'the change' too place he would need to be there to still her hunger when she reawakened.

Hena tried to calm down as best she could... which was rather hard since she was still freaked out over all of this and she hadn't had much of a voice before that anyway. "What... about... my... friends?... my... family?... will... I... be... able... to... see... them... again?" she whispered slowly having to take a breath between each word since her throat was still rather tight.
(You do reallize she would stay out of it for like a day or two right? Before she woke back up? The hospital would move her since they would think she's dead XP )

(Yes and no, however Raphael is a vampire after all. I'm sure he wouldn't have much trouble convincing them not to move her. XD Plus I really hadn't intended to have it last that long since that would leave my character with pretty much nothing to do other than simply stand and wait, and that is not interesting in the least. XD Rather I was intending for it to last no more then perhaps an hour like it was with Interview with a Vampire.)

Raphael couldn't help but mentally chuckle at the human's concerns. "It's not as if you're going to be immobile like some corpse, therefore there won't be too much to stand in your way from seeing or being around them. However I wouldn't recommend it until you have a bit more control so as not to try and attack them the moment you see them" the vampire calmly replied. There would of course be certain factors that could prevent her from visiting those closest to her at certain times, such as her possible reaction to the sun and other vampires that may find her someone to simply pick off as well as many others, but it wasn't as if she could never visit them again. The thing that he felt that would perhaps become more of a concerning thing for her would be her loved one's reaction to her change when she would be able to visit them. He knew that there was a fairly decent chances that they could disown or fear her and possibly attempt to hunt her down, but then that was the risk of every vampire.

Hena listened to Raphael as he spoke thinking slightly on his words then slowly closed her eyes crenging in pain again. She didn't exactly understand any of this... though how was a young human supose to understand the undead? The longer she laid there the more she felt as though she couldn't breathe. She had read about 'the change' before and had a good idea of what happened... and this pain would only be just the begining if what she had read was true.

(How about just five or six hours? XD Still a fair amount of time, yet not something that would take too incredibly long. XD)

Raphael already had a feeling that the human probably wouldn't completely understand everything that had been said. He knew the 'change' and way of a vampiric lifestyle wouldn't be something he could explain with the time frame he knew he currently had, and that the best way would simply be for the human girl to find out from experience. Of course though he would still be there to guide her if the need was to arise, however for the most part he was simply going to allow things play out for her. After all that had technically been how he had learned himself, though there were a few differences that he would ensure to make.

Hena cringed again and let out a muffled cry as the pain started taking over and the vinem taking effect. Slowly she drifted into the pain though still seemed to be clinging to life.... Who wouldn't? Though this only made the 'change' worse on the young girls body. The supply of blood that was being put in her through the iv seemed to only slow down the prosses and ultomatly make the pain worse. Her heart thudded now trying to move forward as the vampiric blood tried to get rid of the human blood to shift her completely.... Though soon the vampiric blood will have taken over.
(fine XD went ahead and put her into the state of change sinse I couldn't think of anything else XP )

(Lol there won't really be much for Raphael to do except really watch at the moment.)

Raphael silently watched as the 'change' began to take effect on the human girl. There really wasn't much else the white-blond vampire could do other than watch. He knew he could attempt to coach her through it, to urge her to simply allow it to take place and make it easier on her body, however he also knew that in the throws of pain his words would fall upon deaf ears. If he wanted he could have removed the I.V., but chose to keep it in as it would help decrease her hunger slightly after she had turned. Quietly he moved once more to the windowsill, although his gaze remained on the pained human girl. He debated for a moment if he should simply end her life altogether before the change would be completed, but he knew that without the over-powering thirst he had held before he wouldn't be able to bring himself to take her life.
