Trying to dry his hair with a towel James did his best not to snap in the silence, it slowly got to him though. A bad thing, the mockery once again emerged. "Did you lose your voice after all those passionate cries?" he questioned standing before the other skin in a towel around his waist. While he did, he was lathering his face with shaving cream for his scheduled shaving.

((Yep, I'm cool with it. I was just trying to think on what to do. ^_^))

She took a deep breath, apparently struggling no to snap back at him, she failed, "You wish you were so lucky." When she was satisfied that she was dry enough, she pulled her clothing on once again. There were so many things she wanted to say to him. Pride, pain, and left over anger from his sudden departure prevented it though.

With her clothing on, she pulled a come out of one of her pockets and went to work on her hair, removing all of the tangles before she pulled it back into a sever, military bun. Alexandria took a deep breath. She knew people had seen her come in, and others must have seen James enter. There would be questions, looks, talk. That could be bad in a Unit. She would deal with it though.

With a roll of his eyes he looked over at Alex only to snort as she pulled her hair into one of those extremely tight buns. Such a turnoff. "Yes, I wish I was so lucky you would talk to me..." For once since they ever seen each other again James was being honest. It was true, the thing he missed most was just talking to her. The tension between them was so strong, conversation was nearly impossible. When Alex was tense he became tense, if he was upset he said nasty things. All that led to was them fighting.

Another sigh escaped his lips as he looked over at her. "You are fine woman. People rarely come down here and even if the saw us come in and not leave or heard anything. They wouldn't speak of it. Don't look down on my men. Beat on the recruits for all I care." he didn't mean to get so angry. This was his bathroom only and his room was only a few steps down the hall. Most avoided it for their life and didn't even walk down the hall. Maybe a few of his men but they wouldn't say anything. Would probably connect the dots from the first time Alex confronted him. The recruits though, she would get trouble from them. Who wouldn't think she was using her body to get a spot in his unit and those thoughts angered James. But would he show that to her? Never.

She turned her head to him. The bun really annoyed her, but she had to show unit cohesion, and that didn't always mean that one would be as attractive as they could be. The Elf sighed, leaning on the counter and looking down at the sink. "Do you know why it's so hard for me to talk to you? Do you have any idea at all? Do you know why I could not kill you? Why I allowed my reputation as one of the top assassins of the world be ruined for you?"

Alex shook her head, "I am surprised that you had not heard that I already put three of the recruits in sick bay with broken bones and bruises." She shook her head again. Perhaps they had changed to much, but she couldn't deny the feelings that were still there for him.

He listened to her speak and he couldn't help but roll his eyes as he shaved. "Why you entered the shower with me knowing well what would happen? Walked out of the shower not caring what I saw... Just admit it. You still have feelings for me. Your reputation was ruined for the fact you can't get over a past romance." His words were sharp and to the point. For some reason her questions aggravated him and he would never admit to having the slightest amount of feelings left over for her till she did. Pride was a big obstacle for him, along with arrogance and vanity.

"Didn't I just say I don't care what happens to the recruits, like you. Touch one of the men in my unit and that is a different story. You have yet to be accepted." He washed his face off of shaving cream and dabbed his face dry with a towel. Though from the corner of his eye he was so close to pulling her hair out of that disgusting bun. If she got any closer he knew he would.

[{Alright, just don't feel pressured to do anything. I'll feel bad then}]

"Damnit, James." Her voice was a whisper. She had not moved from leaning against the counter. "You are going to force me to say it, force me to spill my guts." Alexandria sighed and shook her head, "Fine. I love you, I never stopped loving you. I never understood why you left, why you disappeared."

Finally, she pushed herself away from the counter and looked at him sadly. "You knew though, and I'm sure it doesn't matter now that I have admitted to it." With that she turned and made for the door, "Do whatever you want with that information." With that she was out of the bathroom, the door closed behind her.

The razor instantly dropped from James' hand he hadn't never expected her to actually admit to it. Now realizing his horrible mistake he cursed trying to collect his clothing, get dressed, and pull his hair back. He couldn't help but swear multiple times. Alex drove him crazy now and those few years ago. Even if he tried he could never forget her.

Soon enough James was out of the bathroom and after Alex. Once he caught up he quickly grabbed her pulling her into his room that was conveniently near by. "You drive me crazy woman. I never stopped loving you either. I was trying to do the best for you. I couldn't let you stay with someone as worthless as me." his voice was laced with anger not towards her but himself.

"I was without a job and struggling to get by. How could I let you stay with someone like that? You deserved better... You should never of accepted that job, you are such a fool!" At first he spoke in a shockingly loving tone that soon changed. He found himself sitting at his desk that was covered in stacks of paperwork he needed to do.

((Hah, I forgot to respond oocly. I don't feel pressured. <3 The rp is best when both players make unexpected decisions.))

She was taken by surprise when he grabbed her and pulled her into his room. There was only one other Trooper in the area, and he looked just as surprised as she felt. When the door closed behind him and he started to spill his own guts, things he had claimed not to feel any longer.

Alexandria watched him in a stunned silence for a long time as he sat on the desk before she leaned against a wall and let out a long breath, "Why did I have no say in it, James? You never gave yourself enough credit, but I believed in you." After a moment she pushed herself from the wall and walked over to him. "I was lucky to have you in my life."

The woman scoffed when he called her a fool, but he was right. "I know that I was a fool to take the mission. No self respecting Assassin ever would have taken a mission that they knew they wouldn't complete. That's the problem though. I never wanted to do that for a living." The Elf shrugged slightly, "I wasn't good at anything else though when...when my unit was killed."

[{It is fine. Alright, glad you think that way. Believe that makes things a lot more interesting and exciting}]

The silence this time drove James made to where he just closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths. It wasn't that he just laid out all his feelings towards... He didn't need a reassuring response at all. At least she hadn't ran out the room horrified. So when she spoke her words were like a well deserved slap across the face and a relief. "You know me well enough to answer that on your own Alex. Would you really of just let me leave your side for all those years?" he spoke in a mellow tone.

With ease he pulled Alex onto his lap were he wrapped his arms around her slender waist. Even with all the years apart, James still enjoyed cuddling and being able to hold her in his arms. "Well, now you don't have to be one anymore for reasons such as that. I can't say if you will be able to join my unit. The decision of who joins isn't only up to me. If I could I would keep you some place safe and out of harms way. I can't stand to see you hurt in anyway. At least if isn't caused by me." James was a guy that got very unease in such emotional situations. Always needed some humorous relief. Much preferred having fun if there wasn't work to be done.

So the elf in his arms was a horrible influence, she was easily able to pull James from his work. At least when she was suffering. If not it would be like the old times and he would unconsciously put his work before her. It was predictable that he would, James hadn't changed that much, minus the humor part. Needed something to laugh about or he would get incredibly depressed.

She let him pull her into his lap, she moved her own arms around him. This was something she had missed. "You know that I couldn't have. Not at least with some sort of contact. Even your family didn't understand it. They miss you, James." The Elf pressed her lips against his cheek softly, and could not help the smile.

"I know, I know that it's not just your decision. I know that if they find out about our past, and even a hint of...of what has happened today that I would be denied." Alex shook her head slightly, "You would not be able to keep me away. Danger calls me, I think I was meant to be a soldier, just not an assassin." She took a deep breath and sighed.

[{That makes me so much more willing to do crazy things}]

A smile played across James' lips also, enjoying this greatly even with the rather unpleasing conversation. "That is nearly impossible while being in the military. On top of that I never imagined you would become an assassin or what happened to your unit." he watched Alex with gentle eyes his arms tightening around her a little.

"I have one request then. Until you are accepted this has to go." James spoke as he pulled that ridiculous bun free and his classic half smile was replaced. "If I can't keep you from danger, I know you will be accept with them knowing about our past or not. Would prefer if they did." James wasn't going to deny Alex was one alluring woman and he didn't want any other mans hands to touch her.

She was surprised when he pulled the bun from her hair. "I take it that you did not like my hair being up, hmm?" Her smile faded a bit though, "I am glad that the truth is out, James. What does it mean for us though?"

She had witnessed how poorly relationships between troops and superior officers tended to go. She had seen the dismissals for such fraternizing. Alex did not want to cause something like that to happen to him, but she wasn't sure if she could stay away from him now, or ever again.

Now with her hair down James played with it confiscating the band she used to hold it in that disgusting bun. "It was awkward and didn't suit you." With a sigh he brought a few strands of her to his lips. "I have no idea. I'm not that worried about the troops opinion the other recruits though they worry me. Haven't been around me long enough to know this is an improvement." he laughed trying to lighten the mood once more.

James had never witnessed a relationship like this so he didn't have an idea what could happen. All he knew was that he wanted Alex and now that she was his again he was unwilling to let her go. "If you are worried we can make a deal with them. In their presence we'll act professional. Outside of it, it'll be their problem for stepping into our private time." He was the general, not like he couldn't make some extra rules.

She smirked at him, "You never did like it when I put my hair up." He really had not changed much. Assumption had caused her reaction almost as much as her pain from his sudden departure had. After a moment she hugged him tightly. It was something she had rarely ever done, and it seemed to surprise even herself.

"I have missed you more then words can describe, and I will do whatever is needed to make sure I don't lose you again. Even if that means that I cannot be a part of this unit." That would, of course, mean that she would have to turn to a civilian life, and that was not something she was certain she could do. If she had to, though, she would.

The hug even surprised James and without a hesitation he returned it with a laugh. "Then why did you insist on putting it up? You are so much more breathtakingly beautiful with it down." He mused glad to see Alex loosening up slowly. Wouldn't need to worry about get slapped, hit, or held at gunpoint for touching her. Having that in mind he couldn't help but slid his hand down her side affectionately. He was curious to see what reaction it brought now.

"Then let actions describe your words." James spoke with a slight purr to his voice, tempting the gorgeous elf on his lap. "That is why I'll do everything in my power to keep you in this unit. You'll have a better chance if you gain all the troops respect." The little fight she had in the gym was quickly brought to his attention with the respected she gained from a few of his troops. If she kept it up the more they would want her to stay even if they were in a relationship or not.

She could not help but to blush at the compliment. "I only put it up because of most military regulations. They don't like for long, flowing hair to get in the way." Of course, she had never really worked with it pulled up. Alex shivered as his hand moved down her side.

Her smirk spread into a full, mischievous smile. She knew what he was intending, or thought she did at least. Alexandria let him finish speaking, however, before she did anything. "Of course, and I will do what I need to." With that she silenced any further conversation for the time being by pressing her lips to his in a passionate kiss.

James laughed at Alex statement of military regulations. They were probably break quite a few right now. Did James care? Not at all. Upon receiving the passionate kiss James placed a hand on her cheek letting his lips mold to her as he kissed her back with as much passion and gentleness. The kiss was nothing like what occurred in the shower, his libido took over then.

With perfect timing Lawrence walked in upon the two and simple cleared his throat. "Miss Alexandria you have things to attend to on your schedule and commander you have paperwork to do if you ever want her to stay around." Lawrence was one of the few that new James quite well and he saw the change the elf caused in him since the morning.

She jumped in surprise and looked around at the man that had interupted them. He was right, of course, and she knew that there must be things that she should be tending to. It did not, however, make it any easier for her to leave the embrace of the only man she'd ever had strong feelings for.

With a glance back at him she sighed and nodded, "Of course." She slipped out of his lap and looked back at him, "May I have my band back so I can at least keep my hair out of my face during my duties, James?" If he didn't give it back, it just meant that she would have to stop by her room. "I promise that I wont put it in another bun."

James let out an audible groan when Lawrence conveniently walked in and Alex left his arms. Once she left his lap it felt so empty without her and his smile was completely gone along with the humor. "Yes, you may." He held the band out to her knowing very well she would keep the promise. However when she went to take it James had a plan of pulling her down and planting one last kiss on her lips.

Though Lawrence had even more bad news, being held behind his back was another stack of papers James would need to get done. He dropped them on James' work desk with a cruel smile. "I hate you!" James cried glaring at Lawrence venomously. "I love you too babe." Was Lawrence's response before holding his arm out to Alex. "Ready to depart from the wild beasts side?"

She smirked as their lips pressed together in a stolen kiss and took the band from his hand, quickly pulling her hair back into a loose, and messy pony tail. Her hair never went up tightly when it was dry. Alexandria looked at Lawrence and shook her head when he sat more papers on his desk.

"Just a moment, please." Her eye were on James, "When will you have free time again?" The Elf knew he was busy, and knew that she would be as well. Whenever they had time, though, she would be at his side. At least so long as it was not in view of the recruits or troops.

James' head had instantly went to drop onto his desk. No matter how much of a workaholic he was, he didn't do it because he liked it. An extremely worried person and need to be punctual. If he didn't get things in on time Alex probably couldn't even calm him down. Though he turned to look at her when she spoke. "You know where my room is. Just come in." Had not a clue when he would have any free time. Just couldn't let a chance down of seeing Alex again.

Lawrence gently took a hold of one of Alex's elbows in a respectful manner and slowly led her out of James' room. "You might not have the free time Miss. Now move along. You may not get in trouble with the commander but you will with me." Now that Alex had their general on a leash, Lawrence would take up his place as second in command. Would lie for both of them as long as they did what they were supposed to.

She nodded as she was pulled out of the room, "I will come when I am able, James." Her attention turned to Lawrence when they left the room and she closed the door behind him. The man had a lot of paper work to do, but she had not wanted to leave. That much was obvious. It had been to long since she had seen James.

"What do I have to do?" Even as she asked the question, she pulled the schedual she had been given from her pocket to look it over. "I'm sure there isn't anything to abnormal for a military instillation." As the Elf looked over the paper work she thought ahead to what the activities might be like, and how it would be best to complete them.

James just waved Alex off as he got to work on all the papers that were piling on the desk. Didn't feel that bad leaving her in Lawrence's capable hands. Who led her down the hallway to the first thing on her schedule. Which was another course this time it was different. Alexandria would be put into an enclosed course full of buildings only given a fake knife and put up against one of the units of the troops. All recruits went through this. Wanted to see how resourceful they could be.

"You will see when we get there." He walked through all kinds of hallways before then got to a large steal door, that lead to another short hallway. Stopping at the door to his right he opened that and lead Alex in. "Put this on." He spoke handing her a kevlar vest and a knife without the blade. "When you get that on leave through that door and you will receive further instructions." That was all he said pointing at a door in the back of the room then left.

He went through the door that was at the end of the hall and up a flight of stairs to a ledge that over looked the training field. "Glad you could make it." Lawrence smirked looking over at none other than James. "I couldn't miss something like this now could I?" They both laughed before the fun began. The rules to this course was to survive she would be against ten of his troop, their guns were filled with paint balls. If they got hit they would know and that meant they were dead. For Alex if she got one with a knife they knew to go down.

She raised an eyebrow, but did as she was instructed. The Kevlar vest wasn't to difficult to get on, and she held the knife deftly in one hand as she walked through the door that had been indicated to her and waited for further instruction. She could see the building, and had a feeling that she would be pitted against someone, the question was who and how many.

[{Only need to start worrying when it starts pushing a week or at least around four days. Then I start getting worried and sad.}]

There was a troop right outside the door in a uniform and a clip board. He cleared his throat before speaking. "This coarse is about half a mile long. It represents a normal fighting environment filled with buildings that only get as tall as two stories. There are alleyways, streets, windows without any coverings, rooftops and many more that you will so learn. You will be timed. Either you get hit by one of the many troops guns filled with paint balls or you take them all out. Today you will be against 10 troops. Fight fairly and use the course to your advantage good luck and begin!" When he was done speaking he hit a button that started a timer near where James and Lawrence were standing.

The troops were every where in the course from teams of two to three. They knew where Alex was but being respectful men they started farther away. Some were hidden in alleyways others buildings. One thing though, they never stopped moving. This course was know to all of them. Every building every spot to hid, they knew and they weren't going to make this easy for the new recruit especially if James asked for her to join the unit. Recruits came to their camp all the time but rarely did James ask for one.
