Nagi immediately ducked his head when the door opened. "I-i'm N-nagi Yakahino... It means Calm of the Night Sea... M'lord..." Nagi whispered trembling slightly. "I-I was sent here b-by my sister, because I was called f-for and I wouldn't h-have left with o-out her telling me it was o-okay." Nagi tried to swallow the lump in his throat. He played with the hem of his blue tunic as he waited for the prince to say something back. He was fearing for the worst as he stood under the gaze of the other.

Orenn saw how the maid presented herself, and the large drow wasn't too positive if she was handling things in the best of ways. As soon as he felt Rai's distress, he strode over to the woman and the door. Luckily she scampered off before he had to escort her, but he still leaned his body out into the hall. "Do try to watch your tongue, woman, and keep your opinions to yourself. Unless you don't want to keep your job." Orenn said with his smooth, yet stern voice. He glared softly at the woman, his lavender eyes flashing in warning. He could get quite violent if he needed to be. Var listened to him and quirked a silvery brow. "You enjoy serving?" he asked, his head ever so slightly cocked to the side. with large, glassy eyes he looked between his own. "What does your diet consist of?" he asked, standing then and taking the man's hand, leading him out into the meadow that was behind his room. Seeing his charge awake, a large wolf-cat like animal approached, his head bowed low and his ears out to the side, the little stub of his tail wagging to show that he meant no harm. With his large green and pink striped nose, he nudged the small prince, licking at his cheek. |
Dash blinked before offering a smile. It was clear the boy was nervous. "So, you're a new servant? I'm not sure I'd want one though.. Not in the best circumstance you see.." he started before sighing. "Just, come in and don't let anyone else know." he said, stepping back to let him in. It would be useful to have a new person. He still had no idea who his sister was. He made sure that his body, and wings were hidden from the view f the boy for now. Thankfully his facial features remained the same for the most part. He just had different colored eyes.

Nagi stepped into the room and looked around the room with nervous eyes. He looked to the prince and for the first time didn't look down. "N-no I'm not here to be a servant... I-I to be more of a guard?" Nagi mumbled the last part still feeling very nervous. He may have been shy but he did have quite the conviction when given a cause or job. His face was flushing under the others gaze, he was never a center of attention back home. His sister held more of the attention which was fine with him, in fact at one point he did have someone's attention and that ended very poorly. If he could help it he never would be at the center of anyones attention for any reason, it scared him.

Dash closed the door once the boy was in. "Guard?" he asked, looking amused. "I have plenty of guards you know.." he said. The castle had many guards, and he could also take care of himself. The boy didn't seem like much of a guard however. he moved back toward the discarded clothes and picked them up. "Who is your sister? You said she sent you here." he asked sternly, eyes locking onto him. He had every right to be wary of new servants. Or guards, as this one claimed to be. He hadn't heard of anyone being hired. As he moved, his wings ruffled somewhat and then settled back down. Nagi also didn't seem too bothered by what he looked like. Something rather odd, as everyone else had stared once he found out he wasn't completely human anymore.

"My sisters name is Pythia. She sings of my destinies somedays.... Or she used to.... She lost her voice over two years ago. She still sees the destinies of some and tries to convey it to them. She's far closer to our herritage then I... And if she were the older I believe she would be here serving you instead of I, she's stronger then myself." Nagi said looking down. He was starting to feel a bit envious of his sister again. She could move the water easily, and she could call the fish and lure boats with just a single look. He was never too good at any of that. "Yet even so M'lord I promise I am strong and I can protect you." Nagi said looking back up. His eyes nearly glittered in the light, like a deep ancestoral magic was behind them.

Listening to him, he blinked. It was still a mystery to him how the boy knew about this. And his sister saying something about his destiny to be here to serve? It was odd, but he felt nothing malicious from the boy. Dash gave a small nod, shrugging. "If you say so. I suppose it'll be good to have a guard I won't have to hide from. You seem used to such things. What are you?" he asked, somewhat tired from the restless night. And trying to keep up with all the new information. "Also, do you know of a way to help hide these?" he asked, motioning to his feathers and wings. He wanted to eat, and couldn't go out in fear of being seen by the servants. Unless.. A small thought ran through, smirking slyly. I can blame it on a prank.

Nicolet slowly began to wake up. He slowly opened his eyes as, and as he did everything was a little blurry. All Nicolet could remember was was being in a castle with eleven other princes. He gently rubbed his head. He once thing became focesed he noted that he was in his own room. He didn't get up he just laid there. "Was that a dream?" he asked himself out loud. He then felt the wings still there. He softly moaned. "No..." was all he said.

Nagi smiled and his gaze shifted to the floor again. "Well I'm a descented of a Siren. My grandmother was one and there are rumors that we've had Siren blood long before that." Nagi answered walking over to the prince. He touched his hand to his lips contemplating what to do. "How close can you pull those wings to your body?" Nagi asked, feeling a bit more comfortable.

Nicolet looked around the room and saw someone in his room. "Who are you?" He asked softly as he sat up in the bed and crossed his legs. Nicolet felt a little weird being back home, but not quite having his old body back. "Dose my father know I'm back?" he asked softly. |
The animal cocked his large furry head to the side, his ears cocking a bit. He barked in the prince's face, as if answering him and his large maroon body wiggled. A pink and green striped tongue lapped at the air before him. Turning his head he looked to the door, nosing it and opening, barking at anyone outside, growling softly, before retreating and closing the door, biting at the lock with careful teeth and turning it so no one could get in. With a satisfied snort, he turned and trotted back over to the pegasus boy. "I am Intau, your Guardian. Your father didn't even know you left. The ball room was while you were asleep here in this world." |
Dash understood some parts of that. He had heard of sirens. But he had not known they were natives of his kingdom, always believing they were from the other kingdoms closer to the water. That was for another night however. "I'm, not sure." he admitted before he tried to make them close as much as he could. They retreated, folding neatly behind his back. The were behind his back, sticking out only a little. However they did show a bit more than he would have liked from the length of them.

Nicolet got up. He couldn't believe he was talking to a dog. He nodded. when the dog talked back he rolled his eyes. "Why do I need a guardian?" he asked. The wings where tugging to get out of the shirt he was wearying. He took it of, and the wings freely spread open. He looked to the dog again. "They didn't know..." he said softly.

Were he able to read thoughts, the animal would have been offended at being considered that of a dog. He watched with bored attention as the rather feminine individual removed his top, letting the wings of his spread open. He nipped at his shoulder, a flea biting at his tender skin, then back to the boy. "No. To them, you were asleep. But that world is real, do not get me wrong. and you do need a guardian." The wolf/cat gave a hearty laugh. "You're tiny! you can't protect yourself." |
Nicolet blushed a bright red color as he streached. "I can take care of myself..." he said softly. "I maybe tiny... but some times a big fight can come from someone as small as me." he said. He looked into the mirror that was full leanth. It stood right by his bed. He gently touched his wings. He still couldn't belive it. "So I was asleep, but that world is as real as this one?" he asked looking at the animle that stood infront of him.

Licking at his chops, the large husky creature stepped forward, breathing his rancid breath in the boy's face. "That is what I said, is it not?" he asked, laying his large head against him and licking at his hand. "Even if you can make quite the ruckus, you're the only non human here. I'm supposed to guard you and keep you company, being a non human myself." |
Nicolet gently petted the beast head. "Oh..." he said as he went back to touching his wings. He wasn't to sure about this. Maybe it was a dream in a dream... Maybe he just had to wake up. Nicolet began to pet the beast again. He looked closer at it. "You don't look like a dog." he said softly as he looked closer at the beast. "What is after us that we need to be guarded?" he asked hoping that his gardian would know.

Intau quirked a wolfish brow and looked up at him, tongue dancing across the bottom side of his chin. "Perhaps that is because I am not a dog?" Oh yes, this prince was going to be fun....Intau jumped up onto the bed, curling up amongst the many pillows. "Nothing is after you except maybe your own people. Just being precautious, i suppose." |
"Oh..." was all he could say. He was still looking into the mirror. He thought about the many servents andd slaves they had in there kingdom. He then thought about his father. Could his father disown him for this? He couldn't be sure. "I can't leave this room." he whispered. "If my father was to see me like..." he tuged on the wings. "This.." he said. He then sat on the bed. "What am I going to do?" he asked. "Are you a wolf?" he then asked as he began to put the beast again.

Intau laid his head on the sheets, watching the boy from behind as he listened to him worry. He didn't lift his head when the feminine male sat on the bed, but did smack and close his eyes a little, feeling ready for a nap. "You're the Prince. I doubt your father would blatantly disown you." His ear twitched as he felt the hand against his fur, and it was then he lifted his head. "Part Wolf Part Cheetah, all demon, really." |
"you don't know my father." he said softly. As he laid on the bed. His eyes where getting heavy already. "I just woke up... Why am I so tired." he said as he curled up beside his guardian. "Thank you." he said softly. He was happy that there was some one he could talk to. He slowly began to close his eyes as he drifted off to sleep.

Rai was well very upset at the moment, so much so that he just turnned around in his cage and tucked his head under his wing. The maid didn't say anything back to Orenn as she disappeared out sight, she might have represented her self that way and said those things cause the maid was a close friend or some other reason. The fight was out of the bird, there didn't seemed to be anything left in him at that moment except for the tears that he hide beaneath his wing. |
Connor smiled to Mathais as they ate together. "Yes but on the other food soruce you got filled fairily well." He laughed. "You'll make me stay in bed if you kept that up." He laughed and had no trouble eating with one hand because his food was already cut up for him.
"Amnon smiled to Leun. "Yes it is and there so much more under here my Prince I'll show you everything you want. I'll take you any where and I promise to protect you the hold way." Amnon followed Leun up to the surface of the water but did not jump through it. When Leun came back in to the water he smiled to him. "This could be your new home if you want it to be. You should be able to live underwater." |
Lucky for them, they made it out of the castle without interference. Their was a passing maid, but she knew enough to avert her gaze to anyone besides the servants, and his cloak was too fine for them. He slithered out into the rocky plateaus, leading his guardian down into his favorite parts of the canyon. Twisting turns, of beautiful sandstone, carved through centuries of flowing water, creating a place of wonder and magic. when all signs of the castle and it's attendants were out of sight, he stretched taking off the warm cloak, letting out a wide yawn. It showed the fangs and long forked tongue of his naga form, as well as being a bit disturbing in how big his mouth could now stretch. he could easily swallow a young boy.
He handed the cloak over to his guardian, his arrogance using him as a servant. "Just a little further and we will get to my favvvvvvorite spot." he flickered his tongue out as he spoke, it sounding like a seductive purr. "i do, it is reassuring to me, a reassurance that I am of worth to this world. For you see the answer to your second question gives me doubt to my right to live..." he released the boy, fearing his reaction to his next answer. "For I need blood to live off of. Only enough to eat, not of course to kill. That would be too a barbaric crime." He looked at his charge warily, he would find out sooner or later, best he hear what ills ailed him at once. "Really? I think I would like that, only... I do have a duty to my family and country. That I don't think I can ignore, even if my Father ignores me..." He frowned looking back toward the area that the castle lay, the shape just visible through the blurry waves. Either way, he would enjoy being in the water and the freedom it held. The moment was enough for him. He reached out to hold the long scaled form of his guardian. |
