Codette had finally reached the ship. "Thank god. These were starting to get heavy." She pushed her hair away from her face. "Hey! Is there anyone up there free, that can help me with groceries!" She called up, refusing to haul her load up. Stretching, she head Trappers voice, and looked up. "What happened?" She sighed, thinking that she was accused of something. Then Tobias came running up to her, and hid behind her. Hearing the shouts of the market she looked at him, with one eyebrow raised. "Tobias, do you know whats going on, back in the market?" she asked calmly. |
Trapper laughed at Tobias. "What did you take now?" She asked him as she ruffled his hair. "Oh I just got this song writting book given to me by the shop keeper."

Tobias looked up at Codette and bit his lip then looked at Trapper, "I only wanted something to play with." he muttered as he looked up at codette slightly ashamed. "I got you some things too." he siad looking at her and biting his lip before looking at trapper slightly scared about how angry codette would be with him |
"Nice Trapper." Codette looked at Tobias. Her eyes wide with disappointment. "Tobias, we may be pirates, but we don't need to steal... much" She added, under her breath. She let out a long deep breath. She didn't want Tobias to be afraid of her. She wasn't his mother, just a figure. Codette dropped to her knees to look him in the eyes. "Toby, promise me you wont steal anymore." she hugged him. "Now lets go put away the food kay?" She smiled, tapping his nose lightly.

Trapper smiled and placed her book on the fruit. "I will help Codette." She said with a smile as she picked it up.

Codette smiled up at Trapper and stood back up, ruffling Tobias' hair. "Come on big man. Help us two little women out." She smiled. Picking up her baskets, she couldn't help but ask. "So what was special about that book you got Trapper. And what did you get me Toby?"

Trapper laughed. "The old kind man in the shop thinks im this girl that some man decades ago sent to him and saved for a girl." Trapper laughed as she remeber the old man.

"Really? I didn't think you where that old." Codette laughed. She nodded to Si'la before opening the hatch to go below deck to the kitchen.

Trapper stuck her toung out. "Im not that old you crazy old lady." She said with a smile.

Tobias looked at Codette and almost cried when she scolded him, when she looked away he wiped a tear away and then followed her slowly, "I got you some random food.." he said looking away and biting his lip. He followed behind the girls and he wished he hadnt gotten in trouble with codette.

Codette stuck her tongue out at Trapper. "I'm only a year older than you, wench."
She looked back to Tobias. "I know you meant well sweetie. And thank you." She balanced her baskets on one arm, and reached the other one out for Tobias to take. "Do you want to help me make jerky out of some beef?" She asked, hoping to make the boy happy before she started crying. |
Tobias looked up at Codette and he smiled grabbing her hand and smiling softly, "Ok.. we can do that.. i got some other things to help.. i picked up garlic .. and well.. i dont know what else." he said practically putting his head in his stolen basket. "Oh and i got a basket." he siad smiling holding it up to her.

Trapper smiled. "Awe im not a wench." She said looking at Codette. "Im a Trapper!"

Codette laughed. "Garlic, thats what I forgot to pick up! Oh Toby your a life saver!" She lifted his basket helmet and kissed his cheek. "What would I do without you? Loose my mind probably."
She laughed at Trapper, and walked into the kitchen. She set down her baskets to start putting the groceries away. |
Trapper smiled and placed her basket down as well. "So where do you want these?" Trapper asked with a smile as she pointed to the basket.

Tobias looked at Codette and Trapper and he smiled looked at them as he put everyhting on the counter and grabbed his new knife and bit his lip as he ran around with his new basket helmet. He smiled and ran up to codette and poked her in the side with his finger and then ran away again laughing loudly as he did. then he turned and growled at trapper as if he was going to fight her pointing his knife out and trying not to laugh as he smiled.

Codette turned to Trapper and gave her a smile "thanks for being patient when I try to deal with him' she mouthed. "Lets see. Meat we'll put in the cool closet for now, with the fish. Vegetables go in the bin by the cutting table, fruits in the cupboards over there." She pointed to them on the other side of the kitchen. "Spices will go on the counter with the other spices."
Suddenly she jumped a little "eek!" She spun around. "Toby!" she pouted. "You're soo mean to me." |
Trapper started to place some meat away in the cooler closet. She turned and raised her eyebrow. "You are going to fight me little one?" She asked with a smile.

Tobias looked at trapper and then over at codette, though he had to lift up the basket so he could really see them, "I will fight you.. for.. for.. for.. a kiss from the m.m..m..m..mmmai..den??? is that right?" he asked looking at codette and trying to see if he was right.

Codette laughed. "yes Tobias, thats right." She prettened to flutter. "Oh please, brave knight Tobias! Please save me from Trapper the Mean!"

Trapper rolled her eyes. "Alright boy." She said with a fake laugh. "You want her come an clam her!" She grabbed Codetts waist and pulled out her secret knife out of her hair.

Codettes laughter turned into a playful shriek. "Oh please! Please Save Me Tobias!" She squirmed and wriggled like a damsel in distress, until eventually she pretended to faint.

Trapper raised her eyes. "Oh what, will you just faint on me?" She said with a frown. "Well this kinda sucks."

Tobias looked at Codette and Trapper and tried to figure out what was going on till he shook his head and ran at Trapper, "Ill get you you.. you.. pirate!" he said smiling as he started jabbing his knife at Trapper though the basket had falling over his eyes practically making him blind.

Trapper smiled and Tobias. "Ahh!" She said with a fake death. "Im dying! you killed me Tobias, clam your prize."
