Lin walked into camp and sighed, she walked to the tree she was sitting in front of earlier and started drawing, again. She didn't want to go greet the new girl because Lin was starting to get anxious again. Lin took a big breath in and out, she smiled and mumbled "Thats better....". Lin started humming the same song she hummed earlier, it was soothing.
|
Tzipporah:
She yawned softly, rolling over. Rubbing her eyes, Tzipporah was have expecting to feel a warm body laying down beside her. Instead, she felt nothing there. She looked around the hut, then noticed something. His shirt had been folded and left underneath her head. She smiled, picking his shirt up and bringing it close to her face. The shirt was soft against her skin, but was in desperate need to be washed. She giggled softly, getting up and walking out of the tent. There were new faces around, and one of them happened to be human. The hair stood on the back of her neck as a chill crawled down her back. She turned away and walked over to the lake, dipping his shirt in and cleaning it off. Once finished, she hung it to draw by the fire. She turned around, seeing Lin. She walked over and sat with her. "Hey you." Keith: He smiled, looking down at her. "Promise." He bowed to her, taking her hand and kissing it lightly. He stood up straight once more, looking at her. "Everyone here is friendly enough. Feel free to roam around I suppose." He was more wary about introduction her to the other demons, but he was curious on how they would react. When he was the dark elf emerge from the tent, he grinned. I wonder if someone got lucky... He entertained the idea for a moment. Shortly after, the female demon with blue hair came forth. When he saw the look she gave Eliza, he tensed slightly. She might pose a threat to the girl. |
Lin smiled and said "Hey Tzipporah.". Lin put her stick down, "So what brings you to the emo tree?" Lin joked. She wasn't feeling emotional, she was just feeling anxious but other people didn't understand how she felt they just thought she was emo and then call her emo. Lin didn't like being called emo but she didn't care anymore, if someone did call her emo she would just ignore the person.

Eliza quickly retracted her hands after the man had kissed it, averting her eyes to the side as she tried to suppress a blush. The young woman had to admit that it was refreshing to meet someone with manners out in such an odd location, which made her feel slightly better, but her personal prejudice kept her from feeling completely comfortable with him, though she hoped it wouldn't be noticed.
"Thank you..." she mumbled before glancing back up at him. "Your name. I don't believe you've told me what it is." |
Keith:
He looked to the girl. "Forgive me, I completely forgot! My name is Keith Alexander Lee. A am one of the crowned Princes of Hell, although I doubt that title matters much here." He chuckled for a moment, tured turned back to gaze off at the camp, keeping a close eye on the Blue haired Demon's movements. She seemed calm enough for the moment, so Keith would relax. Turning his attention one more to Eliza he smiled. "Are you hungry? I am sure there are some fresh fruits around here somewhere." Tzipporah: "Emo tree, eh? I have always found this tree to be rather calming and relaxing." She giggled softly, looking at Lin. "Well, to be honest, I just needed some fresh air. Its really stuffy in that hut, but very cozy and comfortable." |
Lin giggled slightly and said "Well if its stuffy in their then I wont need any blankets.". Lin giggled and said "This tree is calming, it helps me feel less anxious...There is so many people here and my fear of crowds starts to kick in...". Lin smacked her forehead when she told Tzipporah her fear. She looked at Tzipporah and said "Pleas don't tell anyone I told you that...".
|
Eliza's face was momentarily blank. Prince of Hell? That's...quite a title. She wasn't certain such a thing existed, but thought it best not to question it at this time. Perhaps she simply misheard. Delusional from such a stressful day. Perhaps hunger? Yes, hunger. Once Keith mentioned food, Eliza suddenly realized that she was feeling quite famished. She had ran away shortly before dinnertime and hadn't much prior to then as well.
"I am a little bit hungry," Eliza admitted. "Could we find something to eat?" |
She had seemed to walk forever through the endless forest. After finding a secure place to sleep, she had drifted off for a couple of hours. Upon waking, however she found herself ravenous. hmmm I wonder what there could be to eat here. Looking around, she spotted what seemed to be a fruit tree nearby. Oh good, at least I won't starve. Well that is, if it is edible at least.... Scouting the area seemed to be a good idea so instead of just walking up to the tree she scanned the area for danger. Sensing nothing she proceeded cautiously to the tree.
Hanging from the tree were tiny red plums. Sniffing them, she detected no form of poison. Plucking one from the tree she took a hesitant bite. [B"]Oh my! This is delicious!"[/B] She started to eat the rest of the fruit, delighted to have found some food. "Well, the next part of business would be water." Sniffing the air and listening she detected the faint sound and scent of running water. She started to head in the direction her senses were pointing her, on guard for anything. |
Keith:
Keith nodded. "I think a few of the girls went and brought some fruit back. Will that do? If not I am sure I can get you some meet of sorts. Actually... yes, that might be a good idea. I will go hunting, taking the other male with me." He though it best for her to get to know the others. For that, he would leave her be in the camp and go hunt. She would be safe there. |
A crackle of thunder snapped through the woods not too far away from Whispers. A rift in space opened, and Delimant was ejected from it and slammed to the ground. Slowly, he pushed his frail body upright and stood dumbfounded. He was now in some sort of forest, totally unfamiliar to him. The species of vegetation were nothing like the ones from Faydwer. Where he was, he had no clue.
Hesitant, he placed an elemental shield around himself, and looked around, trying to establish a bearing and determine what to do next. |
Startled, she whipped around at the sound of thunder. "What the hell was that!" Eyes narrowed, she put up her defenses and started toward the origin of the sound. Not one to wait for whatever it was to come to her, she would take the initiative and find out what she needed to deal with up front. Snapping her fingers her scarlet wings disappeared, cloaked for the time being. Making sure her dagger was in reach she silently started toward where she had last heard the sound.
|
Eliza gave a hesitant nod. She was beginning to feel relaxed, even comfortable enough to meet with the others around her. And she was very hungry. Some simple fruit would be enough to sustain her for awhile. The young woman was about to let Keith go off until she heard a crack in the distance. Tensing, she instinctively held onto Keith's arm.
"What was that?" she asked, alarmed. "There's not going to be a storm, is there?" |
Lin jumped when she heard the crackle of thunder. She jumped up and yelled "What happened? Who is hurt!". Lin looked around, she didn't see anyone that looked hurt. She blushed at sat beck down. She buried her face into her hands and said "What a grate way to make a fool of your self Lin!".
|
Delimant carefully eyed the surroundings, and for the most part, could only see trees in all directions. There wasn't a single clue or inclination of where to go next, so he began casting a spell. One of the spells taught to all students of magic, it was a track humanoid spell, that points the caster in the direction of the nearest sentient being.
Once the spell completed, it pointed him into the forest. (Towards Whispers, but she is stealthed and he can not see her.) He began to walk slowly in that direction, carefully keeping his shield up to protect against unknown attacks. |
Keith:
When he heard the sound, he pulled Eliza in tightly against him, growling at the direction of the sound. His wing was fanned back and his fangs were bared. The fine hairs on his tail stood and it flicked wildly behind him. The sound had startled him, and he was not about to let something come near Eliza. He was the only one here she knew, and lucky for her he was strong enough to protect her. When nothing came from the sound, he let go of Eliza, but was still on guard. Lightning frightened him. Tzipporah: She looked around the camp. It was not storming, but she could have sworn that was the sound of lightning. She looked at Lin, putting her hand on Lin's shoulder. "I'm going to go find Andre... See if he's okay. Wanna come with?" |
Slilently moving through the trees, she suddenly sensed a presense coming towards her. Her defenses on high alert, the hair on her arms began to stand up. Tensing she moved foward coming upon a break in the trees where a clearing filled with beautiful purple, white and gold flowers appeared. A small stream ran through the far side from where she crouched. Suddenly she spotted the source of the presence she had sensed as her eyes locked with the elf on the other side of the clearing. Well he doesn't look dangerous but one never can tell. I'd better keep on my guard till I can find out if he is a threat to me. hmmm what silky blonde hair he has, but at least he has the sense to pull it back out of the way in a pony tail. Tensing, she waited to see what the stranger with the blonde hair would do.

Andre emerged from his little bath, completely clean and refreshed. His long silver hair was slicked back on his head, giving him a mature look about him. He had pulled on his black leather pants, leaving them slightly undone as he walked back into the encampment. He blinked at the lovely little human girl that was hanging around the other demon. "Hello there. I haven't had the chance to introduce myself to each other you." He said, an easy smile on his handsome face. Andre was unaware that he was still topless and his pants were undone. He held out his hand to Keith and Eliza. When he heard the sound of lighting, he looked all around him. That noise always made him thinking of his sister, Izaradas. He tried to stifle his laugh at the male demon who was now clinging to the human female. "It's just a bit of lighting." Andre chuckled.
Bard looked up at the tree, seeing the blue haired girl who he saw exit the hut and Lin. He smiled at Lin and the other girl and looked around for someone else to talk to. He shrugged and headed over to the laked that the waterfall emptied into. He looked at his reflection in the water, touching his face slightly. He sighed to himself and sat on a rock. He leaned forward on his knees, looking out over the water. He missed the twins, they were his only real companionship. He had no wife or girlfriend, no one really wanted him because of his mixed bloodline. His own father was murdered for leaving his family for Bard's mother. And she was killed for merely loving an angel. |
As Delimant reached the clearing, he noticed the stream. A wonderful source of water. Seeing as he had no clue where he was, he decided to bend down and bottle a small portion of it up. Extra water was never a bad thing. If he had been trained as a magician, he would have had the ability to summon his own. Alas, he chose to learn the forces of devastation instead. Once finished, he stood back up and continued walking towards the direction the spell pointed him in.
He reached the other end of the clearing and began walking his way into the trees. As he did, he felt the spell change direction. Suddenly, the spell pointed back in the direction he was going in. This meant one of two things. Either the person vanished and teleported themselves elsewhere... or he just passed them and they were stealthed. Fearing for his life, he slammed his back up against a tree and put his shield up in full force, lighting the tree behind him on fire. |
Eliza tensed when Keith pulled her close to him. Normally, her first instinct would be to push him away. She would do that to even normal human as she wasn't use to being physically close to anyone, but she stayed completely still with Keith. Whether it was out of fear or something else, even Eliza wasn't certain, but when he released her, she felt a need to ask if he was all right. His reaction to the noise seemed even greater than hers. However, she was side-tracked when she heard another person approaching the group. Turning, her eyes grew wide and her cheeks burned at the sight dark elf. Never in her life had the lady seen a man with such little attire! No shirt? And was his pants undone?!
"Good Lord!" she squeaked out, turning away from him and covering her burning cheeks with her hands. |
Lin smiled and said "Sure I'll help you find Andre." Lin got up, she waited for Tzipporah to get up. Lin didn't know her way around the forest so she was going to let Tzipporah lead the way.
|
Andre looked at the girl with confusion. "Um.. are you alright?" He asked. He was an adventurer, he had no need for proper manners and the such. He never had any female react like that to him before. He blinked a few times, wondering what he could have done to offend the poor girl, then it hit him. "Ah! I see. I apologize for my attire." He grinned seductivly, glancing over at where Tzipporahand he had been. "I seem to have misplaced my shirt." There was humor in his voice, he did so love teasing women with his looks. "However, being here doesn't call for proper manners nor attire." He said casually.
|
Startled, her guard slipped as the tree behind the stranger burst into fire. Alarmed she started into the clearing, letting him see her for the first time. Seeing that the fire was not harming him she cautiously looked him over, noticing the alarm in his body posture. His aura was...strange. Dark intermingled with a warm light, making it look as if he were bathed in lightening. From what she could see, he was terrified. Banishing the sight of aura she stood perfectly still, her wings still invisible for the moment but the rest of her could be seen. He'll just bolt if I make any sudden movements so I should just let him calm down for a moment and see if the fire spreads. Then I'll have to get involved with putting it out before it sets the forest on fire She waited, wary, to see what he would do.

Tzipporah:
Tzipporah hadn't even noticed Andre walking into the camp, she got up and walked into the forest with Lin. Even if she couldn't find Andre, she knew a walk would do her some good. Last night had taken a toll on the girl and for now she was just happy to be up and walking around. At the same time, she thought about finding some real food for everyone. She knew the forest better then all, and she knew where she could find some game for them to hunt and bring back as food. Keith: He cleared his throat, running his hand through his hair. "Not a fan of lightning," he said, looking at Andre. |
Lin followed Tzipporah into the forest. While Lin was walking she started to stare into space again, lately she had been doing it more often than she normally did. She was starting to worry about herself. Lin snapped out f her trance and continued to follow Tzipporah.
|
Delimant jumped as the shorter humanoid dashed out into the clearing. He could see that she was armed, but could not tell if she meant any harm. He carefully stepped away from the tree, and summoned an orb of water into his hand, which he used to put out the fire.
Delimant could command the basics of all four elements; earth, fire, wind, and water. But he was only a low level student, so he could not perform any master level spells. He kept his shield up and moved towards the edge of the clearing. He observed his opponent standing in the clearing. Her equipment resembled that of a rogue or thief from his world. "Do you plan on robbing me? I doubt I have anything that would be of value to someone like you." Delimant shouted into the field. |
