Rach thought about it. "Yeah, if you want. I mean...can you even write?" He had always been taught the very best things, but wasn't sure about those that didn't live in a family like his. He had always just assumed that he was the best and therefore had the best. "Anyway, you'll start work tomorrow. Don't think I'll always be this nice to you." Don't think I'll ever really be nice to you boy. He tried not to smirk. Honestly, thinking like that didn't feel right, but that's how his father had always treated slaves when he was little, so he had learnt to do the same.

"I can write I learn that before I became a slave of this country." Mazy smiled to his master. "Ok master if that what you want I really can't aruge with it." He was just smiling he had no clue what this work would be but as long as his master was going be happy and not beat him he would be ok with it.

Rach stood up and flames roared behind his eyes. "You'll do what I ask you to without question!" He felt an itch, telling him to do something, to hurt the boy, but he swallowed it down and sat back down on his bed slowly, trying to ignore the sudden rise in anger. His heart beat against his chest, and he gently bit his lip, knowing it would calm himself down.

It the rised voice and the eyes Mazy back up as far as he could terrifed by his master. He thought he was about to be hit and coward down in to a ball against the wall. He was shaking waiitng for the hit to come switch did not come yet. He peek out from his little ball still shake. It was clear he was scaried for any one to see. "Yes..... master..." He whisper... "I'm scaired..." He said even softer.

He looked up, blinking. He was scared, shaking, and vulnerable and scared. Deep down, he felt something, but pushed it away, not understanding. If he didn't understand it, he didn't want it. "I'm going to sleep. You should probably do the same." He stood up slowly, took off his shirt and slid under his bed covers, turning to face away from the boy.

Mazy quickly crawled in to his bed with out a word. The rag blanket were not bad to cuddle in and it was a lot better then the cold celler floors. Mazy used on of the blankes for a pillow and the other as a blanket and tried to sleep. Those he keep his eyes on his master waiting for him to be a sleep first before he would try to sleep. He was still scared of this un easness and those it could end any second with him getting hurt.

He slept like he did most nights, dreamlessly and empty. The sunlight woke him in the morning, and he turned over and looked at Mazy who was curled up. A strange mix of emotions came to him, but he only understood one, so he acted on it. "Get up, you're working today remember?" If he wasn't getting a lay in, neither was anyone else.

Mazy had fellen away after his master did and did sleep very peaceful. He looked like a tiny little angel as he slept. Those his sleep was rudly cut in to as he heard his master voice. Mazy woke up quickly and tried to stand up as fast as he could. He was still worning his clothes form eariler because he had slept in them because he was nevous about taking them off last night.

Rach yawned and stretched, not wanting to get out of bed. "Go and find the kitchen, and make me something for breakfast." He rolled back over and closed his eyes again, not caring about how small the amount of help he had given him had been. He was too tired to care about the boy, and was already annoyed that he had woken up feeling things he didn't like.

Mazy bolt from the room trying not to make his master angry. He didn't know where the kitchen was but he decide to look for it on the first floor. It took some searching but Mazy found the big kitchen. He jsut stared at the out side of it before entering it he had wonder if there were other inside it. He didn't even know what his master would like to eat he hoped there were other here that would know. "Hello?" He spoke softly looking to see if there were other people.

She poked her head round the corner, and then moved back behind a large pillar. Please...please go away...leave me alone She closed her eyes, hoping the boy would go away if she just left him to it.

Back in his room Rach was restless, tossing and turning in his bed, waiting for food. He had a horrible feeling in his stomach he was hoping that food would make leave.

"Oh hello there I'm just making food for my master don't mind me." Mazy looked around for food. "I hope master like... eggs and toasted bread." He said to him self. As he went to grab the eggs and bread and butter. He then found a pan to cook in and light the stone he put butter in the pan to heat it up. Then found baking sheet and put the bread on it cut up and place it in the bread oven. Soon he was cooking the egg but he didn't know how his master like them so he watch them careful trying not to burn them at less.

She was shocked when he seemed to be a nice, young boy. She poked her head round the pillar again to see how old he was, and he didn't look too old. He was pretty cute actually. What harm could he do? "H-hello." She didn't walk towards him, just looked at him shyly.

Rach still couldn't close his eyes, something was twisting inside of him, something painful and destructive, something that wanted him to understand and re-act but he couldn't. When that happened, he had two ways of acting. Either to destroy himself...or something else.

"Hello again. Are you one of the severits or another slave or maybe one of the people who live here. Like my master..." He fliped over the eggs. Then checked on the bread in the bread over. He use a mit to remove them and flip them over. Then wenmt back to the eggs He found a plate and put the eggs on it and turned off the stove. He made the eggs over easy not sure but hope his master would like them. Now all he could do was waite on the bread.

She took a few more steps towards him. He was such a small boy, a little younger then her. "I live here. I'm...your masters sister. I stay away from most people in the house. It's not right for a girl to be in a house like this." She took a few more steps and stood close to him, then threw her arms round him tight. "I'm so sorry for you. He'll kill you I'm sure of it. He has no sense of kindness nor mercy." She lifted her head up, and heard a creak from upstairs and fled through a door.

"Why would he do that, he paid a lot of money for..." Then she was gone. "Oh well I better finshed up master food." Mazy didn't understand what was going on but he took out the bread and butter it then turn off things and clean up the kitchen quickly. then he took the plate up stair he need to get the food to his master before it cooled.

Rach was sitting up now, his covers pulled tight around him to protect him from the cold. "You took forever you stupid boy." He took the food from him and started to eat without thinking about the effort that had gone into it. "Why did you take so long?" He raised an eyebrow annoyed that he had to wait for so long in the morning.

"I'm sorry master I didn't know my want around the kitchen or even how to get there. I'll be much quicker next time now that I know. Please forgive me." He smiled to his master. "How do you like it, I didn't know how you like your eggs or even if you like them. I just hope you did. I didn't know what else to make for you that was quick. I mean it did take me a while to find things."

He put his plate on a small desk near his bed, and then looked at him with a soft but very real anger in his eyes. "I heard you talking, who was there with you?" His mother and father were away, like they so often where, and he was sure he had the house to himself. "Who were you talking to!"

"Well when I enter the kitchen I saw a small little girl. But I did keep cooking while I talked. It didn't take time form your food. Those I was hoping to find some one who know what you like to eat so I could make that for you but by the time she actually talk to me I already started looking the eggs and toast. I think she called her self your sister Master."

He jumped up out of bed and grabbed Mazy by the top of his shirt. "WHAT!" He threw him against the wall and then picked up a vase off the side and threw it across the room, shattering it. "SHE IS NO SISTER OF MINE!" The anger in his voice was almost solid. He was shaking, and his heart was racing.

Mazy was shaking with fear. "your scareing me..." He whisper out as he started to cry. He didn't know what was going on. Why would he say that about the girl. What was going on with this house. Would his master kill him like the girl said she would. All Mazy could do was cry now.

"I DON'T CARE!" He raised a hand a hit him round the face, sending him to the floor. His hand stung, and he looked at it as his eyes widened. He just stood there then, staring at his hand, breathing hard and fast, his hair a mess and mouth slightly open. The anger had gone from him, and he just stood there, looking empty.

Mazy slide across the floor after being hit the red mark on his face tear pouring down hsi face. He was hik-up-ing and cough as he cried because he was so scaried and in pain. Mazy crawled under the master bed and laid on the floor in tears. His whole body was shaking but he was lucky his small side would get him perfect under the bed. He was so scaried of being hit and yelled at. He even did what his master asked of him to tell him how he feel even if his master did not ask him to. But he got hit for it so now he was scaried to tell his feelings to his master as he curvled up in to a ball.

He turned and watched Mazy hide under the bed, his hands starting to shake violently. "M-M-Mazy..." His whole body was shaking, and suddenly his legs gave way, causing him to fall to his knees. Tears were falling from his eyes and he couldn't stop stobbing. He had never hurt any one before, and he didn't like it. He started rocking slightly and making a horrible moaning noise, unable to control how he was feeling, or understanding his pain.
